I generally prefer using Greek names for fantasy stories that I'm not going to come up with a conlang for, but I'm not sure if that'll work for a gods and goddesses au inspired by Greek mythology....

Would that be weird? Should I just try and avoid any names associated with Greek mythology? Idk

RN I'm trying to work out primary domains for:

And im also trying to figure out how many brothers Steve's dad has, and how many kids outside of his marriage he's had (Steve currently has seven full sisters [same mom and same dad] and one half sister [same dad different moms] but the number of half siblings should be more than that, i just only have one decided rn)

theologically it makes sense to me to start this timeline with the big bang, but narratively....

I am really conflicted about how long it should take for a god in this au to become an adult.

Especially since demigods (often children of a god and a human) are a thing in this au.

bc whatever way I go that sounds miserable for at least one parent.

Either the mortal parent has to deal with a baby that stays a baby for like a decade and they know they will never be able to live long enough to see their kid reach adulthood or the immortal parent has to deal with their kid growing up so fast it basically feels like nothing bc really to a being that is possibly 50,000 years old, or older, 18 years is going to feel like nothing.

I need to figure out what Neil is going to be the god of.

I don't think I want it to be anything like, overtly evil or malicious but more something along the lines of something good/neutral that can be bad when taken to an extreme or something good/neutral that can be used as a tool for bad purposes.
