I do not know how I feel about localized Stand names. On one hand they're undoubtedly pretty lame and a lot of the time I really wish the subtitles and dubs could just say the actual names (which almost always punch way harder and are obviously more accurate to the series' vision and aesthetic). It's also distracting to hear the Japanese voice actors very obviously speak English words but have the subtitles say something different. (Also, the whole reason why Stand names need to be localized is stupid to begin with.)

But on the other hand the existence of localized Stand names are just fun to me. They're kind of iconic as a fandom inside joke. While some of the localized Stand names got beaten to death (like a shit ton of popular Jojo memes) I'm pretty sure Limp Bizkit being called Flaccid Pancake in some Jojo media will never not be at least a little funny.
