Here's some pics I took of Fujiyoshida (part of the real life setting for Persona 4)
Walkway to the main shrine
The main shrine where festivals are held
The famous golden shrine where the fox would be. (Looks like someone already fulfilled the prayers, lol)
Side note: this is literally right next to Gekkoukan High, and there's only a small footpath to get to it.
Walking the streets
If anyone has questions I'm more than down to answer as many as I can!

Hey! :) a couple weeks ago (around november) you reblogged a photo of Mt. Fuji and added the hashtag that you’ve been there at exactly the street where the photo was taken and that you have a really similar photo of the Fuji. Do you remember where the photo was taken? I am going to Japan in May and would looove to see the Fuji just like in the picture :)
I am so so so so so so so so so so so so so sorry. This ask must be like 6 months old.
I am guessing you mean the pictures from Fujiyoshida.
These are two of my unedited iPhone shots from Fujiyoshida (name of the town). As you can tell, you won’t get the super big imposing look without a special camera lens to pull the background forward a little.
You have to stand in the road on Route 139 that cuts through the town. At the top of the road is Hikawa’s Clock Shop, which is a good place to start and then just move down the street until you get the composition you want

Obligatory reminder: pedestrians do NOT have the right of way. Cars have to stop for you if you’re crossing the street in a cross walk, otherwise they have no legal reason to stop and if you are clogging up traffic for a picture you’re kind of a douche and also putting yourself in danger
