i personally think terunika is incredibly funny and criminally underrated,,, me and the bad bitch i pulled by having underlying mental issues that neither of us are quite ready to work through!

I have a whooooole laundry list of theories for what’s going to happen in TBB season 3, ranging from actual predictions to weirdly specific scenarios that really are just not going to happen (Crosshair and Omega meet the Bridgers while on the run, for example), but there’s only four I take seriously. And three out of the four are really kind of broad (Hunter’s arc comes full circle, Phee is involved in the season somehow, everyone (Tech included) lives) and could go a million different ways. The only more specific one that I really won’t budge on (until the show actually comes out and we see what actually happens) is probably that Crosshair and Omega will get out of Tantiss within the first two episodes, and that the whole team will be going back to Tantiss for the finale, and that’s because Omega’s the main character along with Hunter and I can’t see this show doing sixteen solid episodes where either the A or B plot is “Omega and Crosshair continue to suffer in Hemlock’s secret lab.”

i feel like they would assume alpha bc of captaincy. therefore i believe spurgey would have to be an omega or beta giving off MAJOR alpha vibes. and everyone would be confused. and probably a little (read: extremely) hot for it
nodding along with you
he's got the like. omega caretaker instinct going on. that is very easily read as alpha protectiveness over his team, especially with good scent blockers. most people outside their dressing room are like... he's so small, there's no way he would have been given the C if he wasn't just a very tiny and dominant alpha. wrong!
okay i love that actually. spurge being a sort of typical omega who Acts like an alpha pairs nicely with my read in this version of brock being a very nontypical omega who feels like he has to act like an alpha so everyone will take him seriously. your vote is recorded

Had a conversation with someone on October 23 over Zoom and asked if I'd done something to offend them or if something was wrong because they'd been really strangely distant and so on for several weeks (months?) prior, and then that turned into a short followup conversation on Whatsapp that drifted into other topics and they shared a chapter out of a book and I shared my thoughts on the chapter and then asked out of what book the chapter came. I got a prayer hands emoji response to one of the things I'd said and then silence until yesterday, almost six weeks later, "oh my goodness I'm sorry I never responded to this" and a few other messages I haven't bothered to read.
The conversation isn't set up for "read" notifications, so you either saw that I was typing and decided to mute notifications until you had time to respond and then forgot for the last month and change, or you left it on read thinking you'd get back to it later and then forgot for the last month and change
I don't like this

my brain is very gone. i cannot read questions but i wanna participate. what’s your fav kind of tea? how do you take your tea?
ooh i love a lot of types of tea so i could never pick a single favorite. i'd say for a single (though often large) cup of hot tea my preference is usually for something strong and fruity. i like herbal blends with hibiscus, peaflower, rosehip etc and/or dried fruit pieces, although this year i've really been enjoying a couple of fruity white or green tea/herbal blends. i love these hot and either unsweetened or with just a drop of honey. this is also usually what i take in my thermal mug to campus bc it doesn't easily suffer from overbrewing so i can brew it in the morning at 9am and have a still-hot cup of tea to drink in rehearsal at 6pm. although occasionally i'll take something black to drink as a single cup; my preference is usually for something strong and spiced, with a bit of cream and lightly sweetened. but if i'm sitting down for an hour or two and enjoying a whole pot of tea, i'm usually drinking either one of the fruit/tea blends or i'm drinking an oolong, no sweetener. i have this WONDERFUL oolong in my cabinet right now from a regional teashop i love that's scented with grape and blackberry and it's got the most well rounded, juicy body to it -- if i had to pick a single favorite it might be that but it's expensive and small batch so i try to save it for when i can really sit down and enjoy it.
as for iced teas: love a cold fruity or hibiscus tea, barely sweet; black tea, strong and lightly sweet, especially with milk (a la boba shop milk tea or chai latte); LOVE an arnold palmer (half unsweet tea/half lemonade); and whatever the hell they put in diet snapple, i could go through cases of that shit all by myself in no time flat.
basically the only teas i don't really like are anything minty, chamomile, and plain green teas and matcha. although i'm recently becoming a convert to the joys of jasmine tea. besides it just tasting good what i love about tea is that there's just So Much out there that there's always something new to try and fall in love with

post about poto italy
quite genuinely the most i've ever enjoyed watching phantom. i've been trying to figure out why and i think it basically boils down to a couple things:
- one of the things i like most about phantom is the metatheatricality, and one of the things i like most about theatre in general is suspension of disbelief. poto italy played into those things (both deliberately and inadvertently). any moments that lacked 'polish' (which there undeniably were, if you compare it to the london production) really worked for me to keep up that sense of immersion. we are in a theatre. this is a work of artifice. being able to see through the gaps in the performance and understand that this is something people are working together to make 'go', while still at the same time buying in to the world that it presents... idk. delicious chaos. if it were any other show, and if the cast hadn't all been singing their hearts out, it might not have worked. but as it was i think it being less polished than the london production actually made me enjoy it more
- on a related note, the other thing i like about phantom is how stupid it is. half the songs are overtly comedic and the other half are the world's schmalziest most over the top secretions of lloyd-webberage and the plot doesn't make any sense. so when i'm watching phantom i'm already psychologically primed to react to things with 'sure!! why not!!'. the sillier it is, the better. and boy did this production deliver on silly
- credit to alw, i think this is because the music is so genuine and compelling that it makes a strong enough tissue to hold the show together and preserve the emotional sincerity despite how objectively silly it all is. it's a rubbery sort of show. you can fit a Lot of silly into it without any risk of tearing the immersion.
- i don't even know what to say about characterisation tbh since i think it's fairly clear i don't watch this musical for the characters. i do not think that character depth is one of phantom's strong suits. nevertheless here are my takes.
christine felt like she had less agency than normal (already not a high bar) but compensated by responding to situations with genuine emotion/stress/fear and delivering a wishing you were somehow here again that made me weep.
i sort of enjoyed the unhinged all i ask of you. it makes christine and raoul more interesting to me if they're both obviously having a terrible time. i like raoul struggling with trying to be the Guy Who Fixes Everything in a situation that he's realising is actually beyond his abilities to fix.
diversity win/loss: this phantom stims. obviously one wishes they hadn't chosen to code the stalker and murderer as autistic/Ambiguously Mentally Unwell. like i think we can all agree we probably wish they had made a different choice there. that said, as someone who does rock back and forth in times of emotional stress, it did sort of work to get me to like him better. ah well.
- favourite things about this production: revolving set, deliberate arson and insurance fraud, the anastasia once upon a december thing they did during the overture, spinning piano, lesbianism, the masquerade staging

One Piece x Epithet Erased #6
Not gonna go too in depth about how the emperors are gonna be different yet since I don’t know, but as I’m gonna talk about the Epithet version of Big Mom lol
⭐️ - Star, 💫 - Orbit, ✨- Novae
Big Mom
Epithet: SPIRIT
Can interact with people’s souls to her whim
Stamina: ✨✨✨💫💫
Proficiency: ✨✨💫💫💫
Creativity: 💫💫💫💫💫
As far as her soul abilities go, since epithets are uniquely tied to people’s souls and with EE!Big Mom being a Nova character, she would be even more dangerous in the Epithet world than she already is in One Piece. She would be able to separate an epithet from someone’s soul and turn that epithet into her own summon. Because of this, she could essentially do everything the Arsene Amulet can do and more. Ripping out the epithet from someone’s soul would turn them into a mundie. They could get their epithet back since it’s in the form of a summon, but they would essentially have to deal with her, which is a death sentence. Even without her epithet, she’s physically strong enough to deal with most people with just a single punch, and could hold her own in a fight with another Nova user without her summons.
The downside of her epithet is similar to her downsides in One Piece. She can’t interact with someone’s spirit/soul if they aren’t directly afraid of her.
Most inscribed are absolutely terrified encountering her since she’ll rarely pass up the chance to steal someone’s epithet. She considered dangerous enough to have the 3rd highest bounty in the au.
