Nancy Pelosi Military Tribunal, 👇 Part I
Tumblr media
(Due to the length of this article, I am separating it into parts. I will try to get the 2nd part published this evening.)
Thirteen hours over two days is how long it took Vice Adm. Darse E. Crandall of the United States Navy Judge Advocate General’s Corps to present evidence against former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, whom a 3-officer panel found guilty of treason, seditious conspiracy, and conspiracy to commit murder late Thursday afternoon.
In an opening statement, the admiral said JAG and the Office of Military Commissions had copious evidence linking Pelosi to crimes dating back to 1987 but, for time’s sake, would focus only on her most recent and egregious offenses, starting with a 2016 murder-for-hire plot to assassinate then-presidential candidate Donald J. Trump. He said JAG was aware of many nefarious schemes to end Trump’s life–all of which were bungled or foiled–and had incontrovertible evidence tying Pelosi to four.  Moreover, Adm. Crandall told the panel he would prove beyond reasonable doubt that Pelosi in 2018 hatched a plot to kidnap Barron Trump to force Donald Trump’s resignation, so Pence would be the new president. Pelosi, Vice Adm. Crandall said, had even considered having Melania or Ivanka murdered in hopes of forcing a tormented Trump from office.
Furthermore, he said Pelosi shared responsibility with the late Gavin Newsom in locking down California and enforcing draconian vaccine mandates that sickened or killed countless residents of the Golden State. Pelosi’s “Covid crimes,” he intoned, violated the Constitution of the United States; they affronted the very people she had sworn to serve. But as persons withered and died—not from Covid but from the clot shot —and families grieved, Pelosi grew in wealth and power, immeasurably so. When she wasn’t wielding an iron fist, she was clutching the bottle, Vice Adm. Crandall said, and informed the panel witness statements and Pelosi’s own documents would give credence to JAG’s allegations.
“This woman isn’t even vaccinated,” Vice Adm. Crandall said, pointing at Pelosi. “We know this because we pulled her blood, and we can test. She eschewed her own mandates. Why? Because she knew the vaccines were dangerous, and we’ll prove that.”
When offered a chance to give her own opening statement, Pelosi, appearing sans counsel, pursed her lips and kept quiet. She was disheveled and seemed distraught, her shriveled, bony fingers visibly trembling as bloodshot eyes scanned the court.
Vice Admiral Crandall introduced a witness, a 29-year-old Latin male named Xavier Ramirez, who, having been sworn in, described himself as Pelosi’s former gigolo and “boy toy.” He testified under oath that he had regularly “entertained” Pelosi between April and July of 2016, usually at upscale hotels in the San Francisco area. Mr. Ramirez said he hadn’t documented each meeting, but guessed he saw Pelosi 15 times.
“I hope you were paid well, Mr. Ramirez,” Vice Adm. Crandall quipped.
“Very well,” the witness replied.
“I’ve never seen this man before in my life,” Pelosi shouted at the top of her lungs, her voice gravelly and hoarse.
The admiral reprimanded her outburst, saying she could either exercise decorum or be physically restrained.
“Mr. Ramirez, when we first spoke, you mentioned a specific meeting on a certain date. If you would, would you please repeat what you said, to the best of your recollection,” Vice Adm. Crandall said.
“It was July 21, 2016. Nancy was in a bad way because Mr. Donald Trump just accepted the Republican nomination. Trump this, Trump that was all she talked about. She paid me, so I listened. She was drinking, of course. Nancy likes to drink. She is a big drinker, a habitual drinker, to say it in a nice way. So, the more she drinks, the more she talks—”
“—While we appreciate your colorful tale, could you please be briefer, come to the point,” Vice Adm. Crandall said.
“The point, yes; she said she wanted to kill Donald Trump,” the witness said.
“Kill or have killed?”
“Well, have killed; she certainly wasn’t doing it herself. Nancy asked me do I know someone, because I am Cuban, I must know someone, she told me. And there I am thinking to myself why I should know a hitman just because I’m Cuban. I thought maybe she joked and asked if she was kidding, but, no, Nancy was dead serious. She offered me $25k cash in advance to find someone. Nancy said if I did, and it got done, I’d get $225K more and the person who kill Trump get $250K. Then she laughs and says to me if Trump has too much protection, she can do the daughter—you know, tall, pretty blonde, Ivanka.”
Vice Admiral asked if Mr. Ramirez had seen or handled the $25,000.
“I saw it come out of her purse. Banded stacks $1000 each. I saw it, I touched it, but I did not take. I told her, ‘You’re Nancy Pelosi, you must have powerful friends. I want nothing to do with this,’ and she tells me, and this I remember very well, ‘This time it has to be an outside party.’ I tell her flatly that’s not why I am here,” Mr. Ramirez explained.
“And I assume, Mr. Ramirez, the ‘services’ you performed for the defendant didn’t cost 25 grand,” Vice Adm. Crandall said.
Mr. Ramirez laughed. “No, I wish, but much less, and she paid me in advance.”
“Did you bring your concerns to the Secret Service, to the police?”
“Are you crazy? No. If she could kill Trump, I could get killed like a fly on the wall. When I left, it was last time I saw her,” Mr. Ramirez said.
“Yet the defendant claims she’s never seen you before today. But we know that’s untrue,” Vice Adm. Crandall said.
He projected onto a large screen television digital images he had obtained from the witness. One clearly showed Pelosi and Mr. Ramirez hugging in a hotel room; another showed them standing side-by-side, smiling at a camera. “These are ‘selfies’ you took in the defendant’s company, is that correct?”
“That’s correct,” Mr. Ramirez said.
“Why did you take them?”
“Bragging rights.”
Vice Adm. Crandall snorted. “I really don’t think that’s something to brag about, Mr. Ramirez. You’re excused.”
The admiral addressed the panel: “This alone is solicitation for murder, which in traditional courts carries up to a 20-year sentence. In this case, we’re talking about a presidential candidate. And we’re by no means done.”
As Soon as I get more I will post it.🤔
It's coming in parts so bear with me.🙏

I got Stabbed for Science™ (1st shingles vaccine) on Thursday. My arm feels bruised, I had a very slight fever last night, and I've been tired as all get-out. But it's no worse than the covid shots, and definitely better than getting shingles. The pharmacist made the appointment for my 2nd shot right then, and I'll be set.
I need to remind my brother to get the vaccine. I've seen what shingles is like. A couple days of just wanting to sleep is much better.

HYPOCRISY/HIDEOUS DIVINITY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey everyone here is my 6th review of 2022, Hypocrisy/Hideous Divinity!!!!!!! This was my 3rd time seeing Hypocrisy as I last saw them 3 years ago at the Opera  House with Fleshgod Apocalypse and that was on Wednesday April 3rd, 2019. That was a great show at the time and last night was awesome, even though there was one opener who I actually enjoyed and another who I tolerated, but one I found boring and out of place.
Let’s begin the festivities!
First band up was HIDEOUS DIVINITY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This was my 2nd time catching this Italian death metal quartet as last time I saw them was almost 27 months ago with Abysmal Dawn and Vader, which was a month before Covid had shut everything down. It felt great seeing them again as they put on a great live show, even though the crowd was moshing here and there. It would’ve been more ideal if they were 2nd last when the crowd was getting all fired up, but it is what it is. Also at one point during the set, frontman Enrico “Hater” had said “Mama Mia” which then drew a funny reaction from a crowd member and a funny reaction from Enrico.
Second band up was The Agonist. They weren’t too bad, even though I’m not the biggest fan of their material as I never really got into it. This was also current Arch Enemy frontwoman Alissa White-Gluz’s original band before she joined Arch Enemy and was replaced by current frontwoman Vicky Psarakis, and she was fantastic. I’ll be honest, Vicky definitely gives off more of a personable vibe than Alissa as Alissa has a giant ego capable of choking out not just rooms but whole venues. Even though I was saving my energy for Hypocrisy, The Agonist were still fun to watch live.
Third band up was Carach Angren. I’ll be honest I wasn’t impressed at all with their stage setup as I found them to be boring and out of place on the bill. I mean the frontman Dennis “Seregor” Droomers had good stage presence and was funny at times, but on the whole I wasn’t digging them as their theatrics were done wrong and it was more of a reason for me to save my energy for Hypocrisy.
Final band up was HYPOCRISY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This was my 3rd time seeing them live as it had been 3 years since I last saw them at the Opera House. Funnily enough in lieu of them playing Lee’s Palace, they were not far from the Annex Wreckroom now called Coda, which was the first time I saw them live. They always put on a great show and I’m never disappointed each time I see them live. At one point there was a drunken idiot who tried to stage dive but was denied entry by other patrons. I definitely look forward to seeing them at Wacken this summer. I’ll also point out this was the first time I saw Hypocrisy live since it was announced that longtime drummer Reidar “Horgh” Horghagen had departed the band, which shocked me, but new drummer Henrik Axelsson has definitely stepped up to the plate with his awesome drumming skills. Here’s what their setlist looked like:
WorshipPlay Video
Fire in the SkyPlay Video
Mind CorruptionPlay Video
EraserPlay Video
Inferior DevotiesPlay Video
Chemical WhorePlay Video
Until the EndPlay Video
Don't Judge MePlay Video
End of DisclosurePlay Video
Weed Out the WeakPlay Video
Children of the GrayPlay Video
War-PathPlay Video
The Final ChapterPlay Video
Encore:
Fractured MillenniumPlay Video
Impotent GodPlay Video
Adjusting the SunPlay Video
Roswell 47
Overall a great show and a great way to blow off steam from a hectic Monday and as well to end a double shot, even though I’d rather do double shots on Thursdays and Fridays or Fridays and Saturdays so I can rest and recover properly.
HEAVY METAL FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My sweet Emilly
Billy Russo / Reader
Rated: PG (for now)
A/N: So I’m feverish and been feeling like absolute rubbish since getting my 2nd covid shot last Thursday. I can’t sleep and my brain came up with a cute Dad!Billy story. I might do a second part if you guys like it, we shall see!

“Just where do you think you’re going dressed like that exactly?” Billy asked his daughter sternly, looking up at her over his glasses. Glasses that he was still getting used to by the way. You kept telling him he looked like a hotter version of Clark Kent but it still seemed to hurt his pride. Billy Russo needing glasses, insane right? What was even more insane was just how much his sweet Emily looked all grown up these days. Her seventeen birthday last month had hit him like a train. He stared at her and let a long sigh out.
Emily reappeared, taking a few steps backwards, tugging down on her green hoodie dress and rolled her shoulder nervously the doorway of the living room. A little nervous gesture she shared with her father that always made you smile.
“It ain’t that bad Billy,” you said looking up from your crochet project on your lap to his daughter’s outfit, your step-daughter.
“It is on the short side but she’s smart and careful, isn’t that right, Millie?” You said, giving her a quick look with a wink.
She grinned back at you before turning to look at her dad.
“It’s still warm out Da…and I have a pair of leggings if it gets colder later,” she said, opening up her backpack and showing him a black pair of leggings, smiling back at him. He snorted at her innocent-like face, he knew better, she was after all his own daughter.
“Fine. No heels. Wear those ridiculously worn-out converse of yours,” he said letting it go and dismissing her with a smirk. She zipped her bag up and ran to give her dad a quick kiss on the cheek. She was out of the room as fast as she entered it.
“Back at midnight! I’ll be with Devin!” Emily said loudly already halfway to the front door.
“11PM!” Billy yelled right as the front door closed with a loud thud. He rolled his eyes and shook his head.
“Wait, who? The fuck’s Devin? Wasn’t it that Jay-” he said with a deep frown turning to look at you.
“Jeremy,” you corrected him going back to your crocheting.
“Jeremy…last week?” He continued giving you a stern look for correcting him that made you chuckle. He rolled his eyes heavenward, taking his glasses off and rubbed his tired face with a groan. You reached to caress his soft hair and smiled. You didn’t comment, you knew he could be a bit overprotective of his Emily sometimes but dads were often that way with their daughters. It reminded you of your own dad and  the shit you did in your youth. It was a wonder he still had some hair left…
*****
Billy woke up abruptly and sat up yawning, looking at the alarm clock on his nightstand next to the still turned on lamp.
1:25AM
He had fallen asleep in bed reading while waiting for Millie to come home. He turned his sleepy face to you sleeping soundly next to him. He smiled gazing at your serene face and caressed the side of your face softly. He heard a loud thud. He frowned and turned around instantly to the door, listening intently. He quietly got out of the bed, tiptoeing to the door, silent as a cat.
“Ow!” a hushed voice said after another loud thud. Billy yanked the bedroom door open and walked face to face with his daughter. His daughter who definitely wasn’t in her pajamas, dressed exactly the same as earlier and who reeked of alcohol and cigarettes.
She looked up at her dad glaring at her with disappointment etched all over his face. Her dark brown eyes filled with tears and hurt behind her drunken state. She broke down in sobs and hid her face in her hands. Billy’s heart broke at seeing her cry like that. He was very angry and disappointed at her for coming back home so late and drunk on top of it. He sighed and walked to embrace her tightly as she cried. She held him tightly, her warm tears running down his chest. He kissed the top of her head and rubbed her back.
“You know better than that, Millie. Walkin’ home drunk instead of calling me or Y/N,” he said softly yet sternly. He cradled her head in his hand and moved to look at her tear stained face. Her chest was racking with sobs and her lower lip was quivering as she looked up at him. He had a feeling she wasn’t crying only because he caught her drunk and way past her 11PM curfew.
“What happened? Talk to me princess,” he asked with a sad frown, brushing her hair back from her face. She broke down into even louder wails and he had to hold part of her weight to help her stay upright.
You put your mid-thigh satin robe on and walked to see what was going on. The light of the bedroom pooled in the darkened hallway as you opened the door wider and you gave Billy a sad smile. The poor thing was so upset and in no state to think clearly. You took a few steps and rubbed her back.
“It’s okay princess, why don’t Y/N help you get ready for bed and we can talk tomorrow,” he said, giving Emily a concerned look. She nodded as he rubbed her tears away with his thumbs. He gave her a kiss on her forehead and let you take her to her bedroom. You grabbed his hand on the way and gave it a squeeze before letting go.
You walked a wobbly and sniffly Emily to her bedroom where she flopped and sat down on the edge of her bed dropping her bag with a loud thud. You walked to her own connecting bathroom from her bedroom and grabbed a small square towel. You ran it under the cool water and wrung it. You took a bottle of tylenol knowing she was gonna need it in the morning and a tall glass of water too.
You walked back to Millie who was undressing and putting on her pajamas. You were somewhat impressed she didn’t fall on her butt taking her leggings off before stepping into her pajamas shorts.
“Here, drink this you’ll feel better,” you said softly, handing her the glass of water. She nodded and drank half of it before putting it down on her nightstand next to the two Tylenol for tomorrow morning. You rubbed the cool wet cloth on her forehead and neck and she sighed before letting another sob out.
“I’m-I’m sorry I woke you up. I didn’t mean to get home alone so late…Da looked so upset,” she said, hugging you and cried on your shoulder. You hushed her soothingly and rocked her a bit, hugging her back.
“He still loves you, Millie. He’s just disappointed you came home so late and in a very vulnerable state I might add. Now, I’m not gonna scold you, it’s not my place but something could have happened to you baby,” you said brushing her hair back.
“We much rather have you wake us up late to pick you up than having you stumble drunkenly home alone. What happened? I thought you were hanging out with Devin?” You asked, helping her get in bed. She started crying again at the name and you knew right away the poor girl was heartbroken.
“W-we went to this party together a-and it was really fun. Everything was great, we’re great friends and I love when Devin’s around, you know?” She mumbled, looking at you with her father’s dark brown eyes filled with hurt.
“B-but we drank and I-I I thought Devin liked me a lot too and we kissed but-” She didn’t have to finish her sentence, you knew. You sighed and cradled her small frame in your arms.
“She abruptly stepped back, pushing me away a-and calling me names and stuff. S-she left a-and I didn’t have money for a cab because I paid the fare to get there. She was supposed to pay the cab fare back a-and then I didn’t want to call Da and have him angry at me.” She said, wiping her wet face in her pillow. You nodded, brushing her soft hair soothingly.
“Get some good sleep now, we’ll talk more tomorrow, alright? You suggested standing up and tucked her in. She nodded with a sniffle and closed her eyes.
"Thank you Y/N…Nini,” she said softly, watching you walk away to the door. You turned and gave her a warm smile,
“Anytime Millie. Good night sweetheart,” you said before flipping the light switch off and closing her bedroom door.
You tiptoed out of her bedroom and back to your own where Billy was sitting on the edge of the bed, waiting for you. He looked up at you, his face conflicted and tired.
“How is she?” He asked standing up to give you a tight embrace. He really appreciated how you were with Emily, the special bond you had developed with her. It made him love you even more as he kissed your head.
“She’s young, in love and broken-hearted I’m afraid,” you said with a long sigh, resting your head on his chest. You gave him a brief summary of what she had told you. You felt a bit guilty at reporting it all back to Billy but he’d probably know sooner or later too.
“I’m gonna beat the shit out of him when I find him,” he snarled pacing in front of you. He brushed his hair back and thought about the best way to throttle the asshole.
“Devin is a girl, Billy.” You said with a small smile, wondering what his reaction was gonna be.
He stopped pacing abruptly and his eyebrows shot upwards as he looked back at you dumbstruck.
“Oh! Oh,” he said, rolling his shoulders and clearing his throat. You looked back at him with one eyebrow up wondering what was going on in his head at the moment.
“Well, I guess I won’t…punch the brat then,” he said somewhat sheepishly and a bit confused. Not that it mattered to Billy if his little Millie liked guys or girls. It’s just…
“She never really talked about it. She always showed up with  boyfriends before so I guess I just…took it for granted really,” he said with a frown sitting by the bed. After a long silence he looked up at you with a vulnerability that broke your heart to see.
“Am I a bad father for it?” He asked, his voice wavering slightly, he cleared his throat and rolled his shoulder, looking at the picture frame of her on his nightstand.
You took your robe off and stood in front of him between his legs. You cradled the side of his face and tilted it up so he’d look at you.
“No, Billy. It doesn’t make you a bad father, baby,” you brushed a strand of hair away from his eye.
“I guess you two just never really brought it up. I remember when I was seventeen myself, a young woman still in high-school, afraid of being bullied for being any kind of different,” you said with a sigh, remembering how cruel high-school was.
Billy scoffed and sneered at his own memories of it. Lonely guy from the group home with no family or friends beside small pets he’d keep in jars. He smiled warmly with a silent snort remembering how Emily had her own pet snail for a while and how much she took care of the little one.
“She might still be figuring herself out too,” you added with a shrug.
“Yeah, I’ll talk to her tomorrow anyway, maybe she’ll want to open up and chat about all of this,” he said, rubbing his tired face with his hands. You kissed him slowly before breaking the kiss and crawling back in bed in your short satin nightie. He groaned looking back at you, suddenly very awake for almost 3AM. He rolled over on the bed and pulled you flat against his body with a sly smirk. You chuckled at the attention he gave you and kissed him languidly with a moan.
“I’m still gonna scold her ass,” he mumbled over your lips, reaching over you and turning off the light.
A/N: Random Fact. My fiancé’s name is Devin. I remembered him telling me he had a girl classmate once in school named Devin. 😋

I am feeling very very good about Chapter 18 of The Fic. Not only have I made some decent progress today, I really like everything I've written for it so far. I should be able to post sometime in the next week or two.
I'm getting my 2nd covid shot on Thursday, so, between that and a busy week coming up at work, and my desire to finish the chapter, I'm thinking there probably will be no Thirsty Thursday this week.
This was a good weekend for me, I hope everyone else had a good one as well.

I wasn’t sure if I was going to post this, but during the pandemic, Tumblr has turned into a digital diary (often the only documentation of my experiences b/c I couldn’t bring myself to write in my actual diary most of the time). So, there is no better/more appropriate place than here to document my experience getting the 2nd COVID shot yesterday (for which I’m incredibly grateful!). If anyone living/working/studying in New York State has logistical questions about signing up for the vaccine (or if you just have questions in general), please feel free to dm me!!! My actual experience is below the cut.
I went to the same state-run site for my 2nd shot yesterday morning. It was pretty much the same except the nurse wasn’t as nice this time around. Almost immediately after I got home (so about 2 hours after I got the shot), I started running a fever and still have one today. The good news is my mental faculties are much sharper this time and my arm doesn’t hurt (it’s just a bit weak so I can’t lift heavy stuff). I’m so grateful that my mom, dad, and I will all be fully vaccinated by the time Mom has her surgery in 3 weeks (factoring in the 2 weeks for the shot to be fully effective).
Thursday: I woke up this morning and still had a fever—ugh! Obviously I need/want the vaccine & am willing to deal w/ whatever side effects come w/ it, it’s just the worst time possible to be out of commission for 3 days b/c I have all these papers due next week. I feel better right now, here’s hoping I stay that way!

Why does this keep happening?
So I live in a kinda sketchy apartment complex. Not like 'get shot' kinda sketchy just 'don't leave things you don't want stolen lying around' kinda sketchy. And I've already had one package stolen from my front door since I moved in on June 18th because the front office isn't accepting packages because of covid the cdc has already said it doesn't really live on non-porous surfaces for very long so they have no reason not to accept packages accept that they're literally the laziest management company I've ever had an apartment with. Anyway, that awkward 83lb package was stolen off of my 2nd floor porch in broad daylight, somehow.
I had the package replaced but now I am having to run home in the middle of the workday to put all of my fucking packages in the apartment. Super inconvenient because I just moved to a new apartment so I have a lot of stuff being delivered, but fine. My boss is nice and allows me that.
So, my most recent package was set to be delivered on Thursday. It was not and the next update I got on Friday said that it would be delivered Monday. Which was good since I was leaving town on Saturday morning and not getting back till Sunday.
Except I wake up Saturday, an hour before I need to leave, and it says it's being delivered that day.
So I call FedEx and try and see if they can deliver it on Monday because I'd already had something stolen and I knew this would get stolen too. The lady said okay and she'd try and contact the delivery driver. That was pretty much all I could do because I was on a tight schedule as it was.
Of course, the package was delivered about an hour after I left.
So I contacted the front office and said 'could someone please put my package in my apartment, I've already had something stolen and I won't be there to take care of it. Also I put in a work order because my dishwasher isn't working.' You know thinking 2 birds 1 stone the maintenance guy could put it in my home when he comes to fix the dishwasher.
Naturally, I never heard back. Came back today and of course the package isn't there because it's been stolen and the dishwasher hasn't been fixed.
Now I have to get that package replaced and I'm just very annoyed.

Lunars: Fangs at the Gate art by Yihyoung Li
Hello, everyone! This is Dixie doing the Monday Meeting notes this week, so expect 89% fewer puns. We had a pretty short meeting this week, and focused mainly on what we and our freelancers are doing during the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak. As far as our day jobs go here at Onyx Path, it’s business as usual since we work from home, but we know that’s not the case for everyone. We have freelancers who work in healthcare, some who are immunocompromised or otherwise susceptible, and then others who have to take care of older family members or small children as cancellations continue.
In addition to anyone directly impacted by the outbreak, there’s also the spate of conventions being cancelled, and many people have had to postpone/cancel trips and events. this is very much still a developing situation, and we encourage our freelancers and fans to take measures to keep themselves safe and healthy. While some people may think, “Oh, this will mean everyone can get a lot of their freelance work done while they’re self-isolating!” that’s not always going to be the case (childcare, housemates all being home, etc.) but we’re working with our freelancers as best we can.
Lunars: Fangs at the Gate art by Gunship Revolution
The Onyx Pathcast hosts in particular would like to apologize if anyone thought we were making light of the COVID-19 outbreak in last week’s episode. I assure you, everyone here is taking it seriously.
That said, self-isolation can be difficult if you’re used to being around people, including gathering for tabletop games, so our friends at Astral Virtual TableTop are giving everyone their paid features for free during this time! There’s a post about it here: https://ift.tt/2TTFS5O, but your account should already have the features unlocked.
That’s all well and good, you might say, but I don’t have any new games to try out! Well, we’ve got you covered on that front, too. Today, you can pick up V20 Dark Ages for free at DriveThruRPG, and we’re putting up a new free corebook every day this week. They’re only up for one day each folks, so make sure you grab the ones you want!
You can get V20 Dark ages here today: https://ift.tt/2QjDtiw
Tuesday we’ll be offering the Werewolf 20 core here: https://ift.tt/38RNqdL
Wednesday is Mage 20: https://ift.tt/2IU0dBE
Thursday is Changeling 20: https://ift.tt/3b2fJr8
And we’re wrapping up the week by descending into the Underworld with Wraith 20: https://ift.tt/2vwtfEA
Lunars: Fangs at the Gate art by Gong Studios
In other news, the Legendlore Kickstarter is ongoing, and we’re close to halfway funded! I, personally, am a big fan of the setting. As Ian A. A. Watson put it on Twitter:
Do you like El-Hazard, Alice in Wonderland, Labyrinth, Wizard of Oz, Chronicles of Narnia, Neverending Story, Magic Kingdom of Landover, Apprentice Adept, Castle Perilous, or the Dungeons & Dragons cartoon?
@VonAether
If so, this book is for you. Check it out and read manuscript updates here: https://ift.tt/2x03Pzp
Another cool thing you can do while you’re home is to attend Gehenna Gaming‘s VirtualHorror Con April 4-6. From the website:
VirtualHorror Con is a two-day virtual horror tabletop RPG convention that can be experienced on any screen no matter where you are. Many of your favorite events and conventions have been canceled, but that doesn’t mean you have to miss out on the convention experience. This event will give fans and players the opportunity to connect with the game developers, artists, and publishers they love. No lines. Safe social distancing. Horror-themed actual play streams, live panels, and digital tabletop RPG one-shot sessions running the whole time!
All ticket and raffle sales will go to the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund for the World Health Organization to support the development of vaccines, tests, and treatments for the coronavirus pandemic.”
For more information, check out https://ift.tt/2TTwcbC
There isn’t much else that came out of our meeting, as people are just buckling down to get some work done and continue monitoring the situation. We’re still working on the Dragon-Blooded surprise and will have that out to backers as soon as we can! So stay safe, wash your hands, and as always…

As we find ways to enable our community to more easily play our games, the Onyx Dice Rolling App is live! Our dev team has been doing updates since we launched based on the excellent use-case comments by our community, and this thing is awesome! (Seriously, you need to roll 100 dice for Exalted? This app has you covered.)
Update: the devs are working on the updates for the roller in both Android and iOS; here is the rundown from them:
1) Redo the UI for system for Android. It will look the same as the current design. My goal is to have something ready by Saturday to send out to the Facebook users, asking them if this fixes the issues. This will be a beta type thing. This will break several of the fancy dice.
2) If the above worked out and the android users give all the clear, we’ll redo the graphics system to fix the fancy dice that got broken. We’ll do another Android beta through Facebook. This might take up to two weeks, as my schedule allows.
3) If everything worked well, we’ll release to Android for real at that point.
4) Port all of the existing stuff to iOS and release on that.

US COVID-19 booster plan leaves some experts divided
US COVID-19 booster plan leaves some experts divided
The evidence behind a federal plan to rollout COVID-19 vaccine booster shots to Americans beginning the week of Sept. 20, pending FDA review, has left some experts divided.
The shots would be offered to individuals whose second dose of a COVID-19 vaccine was eight months ago. During a White House briefing, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky cited several studies indicating waning protection against infection over time. One study out of New York from May to July saw vaccine efficacy against new COVID-19 diagnoses slide from 92% to 80%, and a preprint from the Mayo Clinic saw Pfizer’s vaccine efficacy against infection plummet from 76% to 42% in the face of the delta variant, with Moderna’s efficacy decreasing from 86% to 76%.
However, the vaccines remained effective against hospitalization.
“[I] need more data to convince me to do this as a wholesale public health policy,” Dr. Gregory Poland, professor of medicine, infectious diseases and molecular pharmacology at the Mayo Clinic, told Fox News.

Several experts told Fox News that federal health officials’ proposed plan to rollout booster shots to most Americans come September is premature, whereas clear evidence supports a third dose among vulnerable patients with weakened immune systems (i.e. immunocompromised individuals).
“In my opinion, a recommendation for all individuals to have a booster dose starting 8 months after an individual’s 2nd mRNA dose is too soon,” Dr. Ravina Kullar, infectious diseases specialist, epidemiologist and adjunct faculty at David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, told Fox News.
Dr. Marc Siegel, Fox News medical contributor, agreed, adding that booster shots should go to immunocompromised populations and those at highest risk of exposure who were first to receive the vaccines. The move to quickly recommend booster doses across the larger population risks undermining confidence in the vaccine, he said.
Several experts pointed to evidence out of Israel, which is weeks into its COVID-19 booster rollout, and just extended third shots to people aged 40 and up. Siegel, and Dr. Aaron Glatt, chairman of the department of medicine and chief of infectious diseases at Mount Sinai South Nassau, said the U.S. can look to Israel to gain insight in navigating the issue of booster doses.
“I think there will most certainly be patients that absolutely will benefit from getting a third dose, besides the immunocompromised that definitely should get a third dose,” Glatt said. “I think there will be some patients that probably have robust immunity and really don’t need a third dose at this point in time, maybe they’ll never need it, that we don’t really know.”
“At this point in time, we just don’t have enough information to know who would best benefit from it,” he continued.
“I think that there is some evidence, we need more evidence and I think that we’re gathering more evidence,” he said.
The debate over extending booster shots to the larger U.S. population despite the World Health Organization’s call for wealthier countries to halt booster shots as the developing world grapples under vaccine scarcity also stirred conflicting responses from experts.

“…This is a global problem, providing an additional dose of the vaccine to most American people also depletes the limited global supply of vaccines with most developing countries still facing the reality of having no vaccines available,” Kullar told Fox News.
However, others disagree, including Siegel who suggested the global effort requires bolstered manufacturing capabilities, instead of the U.S. donating extra doses.
“It’s like a drop in the ocean,” he said.
President Biden on Thursday shared a similar statement, telling ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos in part: “We’re providing more to the rest of the world than all the rest of the world combined,” a transcript reads in part.

Vaccinated instructors and trainees do not require masks, CDC states

The modifications to the CDC’s standards relating to mask-wearing in schools come amidst a nationwide vaccination project in which kids as young as 12 are qualified to get shots, in addition to a basic decrease in COVID-19 hospitalizations and deaths.
“We’re at a new point in the pandemic that we’re all really excited about,” therefore it’s time to upgrade the assistance, stated Erin Sauber-Schatz, who leads the CDC job force that prepares suggestions developed to keep Americans safe from COVID-19.
The country’s leading public health company is not encouraging schools to need shots for instructors and vaccine-eligible kids. And it’s not using assistance on how instructors can understand which trainees are immunized or how moms and dads will understand which instructors are vaccinated.
That’s most likely going to produce some difficult school environments, stated Elizabeth Stuart, a John Hopkins University public health teacher who has kids in primary and intermediate schools.
“It would be a very weird dynamic, socially, to have some kids wearing masks and some not. And tracking that? Teachers shouldn’t need to be keeping track of which kids should have masks on,” she stated.
Another prospective headache: Schools ought to continue to area kids — and their desks — 3 feet apart in class, the CDC states.

Pfizer to look for OKAY for 3rd vaccine dosage
Pfizer will look for U.S. permission for a 3rd dosage of its COVID-19 vaccine, stating Thursday that another shot within 12 months might drastically increase resistance and perhaps assist fend off the most recent uneasy coronavirus mutant.
Research from several nations reveals the Pfizer shot and other extensively utilized COVID-19 vaccines provide strong defense versus the extremely infectious delta version, which is spreading out quickly around the globe and now represents many brand-new U.S. infections.
Two dosages of many vaccines are important to establish high levels of virus-fighting antibodies versus all variations of the coronavirus, not simply the delta version — and the majority of the world still is desperate to get those preliminary protective dosages as the pandemic continues to rage.
But antibodies naturally subside in time, so research studies likewise are underway to inform if and when boosters may be required.
On Thursday, Pfizer’s Dr. Mikael Dolsten informed The Associated Press that early information from the business’s booster research study recommends individuals’s antibody levels leap 5- to 10-fold after a 3rd dosage, compared to their 2nd dosage months previously.
In August, Pfizer prepares to ask the Food and Drug Administration for emergency situation permission of a 3rd dosage, he stated.

What we at the LIA can do is push for investments in not just our traditional infrastructure, but also child care, and making sure that this is a place that people want to live. We have to make sure there are good-paying jobs that allow these young families to be able to afford a house.”
“It’s personal to me how Long Island goes because I have a 10-year-old son. I want to help foster the type of place that, when Jack graduates from high school and college, he can afford to raise a family here. I don’t want my son to have to move away like some of my friends have. And I don’t want to be a grandfather that has to go to another state to visit my grandchildren.”
