Tickles in the Attic (Chapter 1)

It’s time to tickle a lizard child! Only this time, it isn’t MK. No, this time, the target is his kid sister, GK (Goner Kid)! :D Hehe. That’s right! After all this time, GK is finally going to be tickled, and in a story that takes place one month before the events of the first six stories in my Main Series, making it a prequel. ;) And who’s going to be tickling her, you might be wondering. Well, that’s for you to find out for yourselves. :)

TICKLES IN THE ATTIC

 Chapter 1: Cheering Up GK

 It is a Saturday morning at the home of Rocco and Lydia, early March, and today is supposedly the day that their son, MK will be acquiring his brand new pair of robotic arms. :D MK's awfully excited about having and using arms but also quite nervous; nervous because of the procedure required to bond the arms to his body and infuse them with his magic to enable their built-in nervous systems. So to help MK feel less nervous about the procedure, Lydia accompanied him to Alphys's lab and will be by his side holding onto his tail with her own tail throughout the entirety of said procedure while also occasionally caressing his legs and feet with her own feet and/or magic arms. How thoughtful of Lydia, comforting her son all the while Alphys works her magic. A mother like her is always there for her babies whenever they want/need her. X3 And with MK and Lydia away at Alphys's lab, that means Rocco, GK (Goner Kid), and Rex have the house all to themselves. Sure, the three of them could've gone to Alphys's lab with MK and Lydia but there really wouldn't have been any point in doing so; because with Lydia and Alphys by MK's side during the entirety of the procedure, all they'd end up doing is standing around in the lab waiting for said procedure to be over. And since a lab isn't exactly a kid-friendly environment, that means no play time for an active toddler like Rex. And not only that, by standing around waiting, that would give GK, who's already worried enough for MK as it is, all kinds of time to worry for MK even more. So to keep Rex entertained and help GK take her mind off of MK, Rocco watched the two of them at their home instead, which will surely be most beneficial for 9-year-old GK, who, believe it or not, has telepathic and empathic abilities thanks (or in some cases, no thanks) to the rare non-fatal disease she has that also turned her once light yellow skin to a gray color and rendered her pupils and irises barely visible to everyone around her. This is why she's more worried for MK than the average monster. Before MK and Lydia left the house, she could both sense and feel how nervous the former was about the procedure he'll supposedly be undergoing today and she's been worried for him ever since. Luckily for her though, both Rocco and Rex are aware of this and the former has a fun activity planned that the three of them and a man that GK currently doesn't know is coming over to visit at a later time can do together that will help her feel less worried for her big brother. And it was all put into effect once Rocco took Rex up to the attic aka GK's bedroom and asked GK herself to play with Rex while he's preparing a meatloaf downstairs to have for lunch later. Yes, GK's bedroom in her family's two-story home is the attic. But it's a clean and child-friendly attic though and one that's easily accessible to GK and her family. On the second floor of the house, where everyone else's bedrooms and a bathroom are, there's also a door with a staircase behind it that leads to the attic. And GK likes being in the attic because she can have her own personal space to sleep at night and be close to her family at the same time; just one floor above them. The only other bedrooms in the house are in the basement and if GK's bedroom was down there, she'd feel too distant from her family. And she never wants to feel distant from her family so that's why she's up in the attic. Well, that and because she tolerates storms and darkness better than her parents and brothers do.

 Rocco: GK, hey, is it alright if Rex and I come up? *asked Rocco, in his usual casual attire (dark blue Henley shirt and jeans), while holding 13-month-old Rex in one arm and a bag with some of Rex's toys in the other, right after knocking on the door that leads to the attic and walking part-way up its staircase*

 GK: Of course, Father. Come right up. *answered GK, who sensed her father and younger brother's presence before the former even knocked on the door*

 Rocco: Hey, how you holding up, princess? *asked Rocco, sitting on the bed next to GK and caressing her tail with his left hand*

 GK: *sigh* Same as earlier. *said GK, lying face-down on her bed in her gray checkered shirt and long dark gray pants and moping*

 Rocco: Oh, princess, I know you're worried about your big brother but moping here in your room isn't the best way to handle the situation. Right, Rex?

 Rex: Yaaaadedede. *blows raspberry* Buh-buh-buh-blaaaaaa. *babbled Rex in response, resting in his father's right arm in his red tank top and long black pants and wagging his long tail*

 GK: *sigh* I know. And the sad thing is that I'm likely worrying about nothing. *sniffles* Oh, Father, if only you could feel how nervous he was before he left like I could.

 Rocco: Yes, he was rather nervous about today, wasn't he? And you felt his nervousness more than anyone because of your abilities. But still, that's no reason to lie in bed and mope. He wouldn't want you to do that. He'd never want you to do that. You'll feel better once you start doing something, princess, trust me. That being said, would you mind playing with Rex while I prepare a meatloaf for lunch? *asked Rocco cheekily, causing GK to perk up, for two reasons; first reason, meatloaf is her favorite of her father's signature meat-based dishes and the second reason, she loves playing with her baby brother X3*

 GK: *gasp* Oh my Gaster, I'd be happy too! *said GK with a small smile and small amount of emotion, just enough to show Rocco that she was indeed happy to play with Rex while he's downstairs preparing her favorite meat-based dish of his*

 Rocco: Hehe. Awesome! Hahahaha! Well, here you go! *said Rocco, standing up and casually placing Rex and the bag of toys on the floor and then signaling over to GK to get off of her bed and sit next to Rex himself* Do your thing, princess. *he added, making his way out of the attic, but not before first closing the baby gate at the top of the staircase*

 Before too long, Rocco was completely out of the attic, leaving Rex alone with GK. And to kick things off, GK sandwiched Rex between her always bare three-toed feet. With Rex between her feet, she then she laid down on the attic floor on her back. Then once she was ready, she moved her legs straight up into the air while holding Rex with her feet, to make Rex feel like he was flying. So in other words, she was holding him up in the air and pretending that he was an airplane. But since she doesn't have arms, she had to hold him up with her feet instead. ;)

 Rex: Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeegagagagagaaaa! Heeheeheeheeheeheeheeheehee! *Rex babbled and giggled happily, holding out his little arms and pretending that he was a plane*

 GK: Haha. Oh, Rex. Look at you; so small and cute and without a single care in the world. *said GK, smiling cutely at her baby brother* I miss that feeling.

 Rex: Heeheeheeeheeheeheehee! Akaabatadoogaaa… haaaaaaaaa! Heeheeheeheeheehee!

 GK: Awwww! I love you too, baby brother. X3 *said GK in response to Rex's babbling, understanding every "word" of it due to her abilities*

 A few minutes later, GK moved her legs and Rex back down to the floor. She had to. Her legs were getting tired, holding both of them and Rex up for what felt like an eternity. Then shortly afterwards, she and Rex stood a good distance away from each other and played catch together with some ball pit balls for the next couple of minutes. Rex has a ball pit in his bedroom and he loves playing in it just as much as he loves playing with toy blocks and his toy weapons. And he loves playing in it even more whenever he has another baby to play in it with; particularly Bebe, the 11-month-old daughter of Heidi, the (former) Snowdin Innkeeper; or whenever MK or GK play in it with him. Yes, MK and GK play in the ball pit with Rex on occasion. The two older lizard kids might not be able to bury themselves underneath the balls all that well like Rex and other babies can but they can at least sit in the ball pit without having to bend their knees, unlike their parents. XD But since it's a lot of work hauling Rex's ball pit around the house, Rex and his siblings tend to play catch with balls from it when playing anywhere else in the house. And in some ways, playing catch with ball pit balls is more fun than playing in the ball pit itself. It's also something that Rex can do with his parents in addition to his siblings. And Rex sure has fun playing catch with his family. Plus, he's capable of catching the balls with not only his hands like his father but also his mouth, feet, and tail like his mother and siblings, abilities that also served him well during the following activity he and GK did together…

 Minutes later…

 Rex: Heehee! Geekaababadakaaaaatagaaaaaaaaah…

 GK: What's that? You want to "slay" me now? Is that what you want, baby brother?

 Rex: Yeeeeeekawaaaaaataaaaaa…

 GK: Haha. Ok then. *said GK with a chuckle, moments before lying face down on the floor to get ready for Rex to playfully and gently attack her with one of his toy weapons, the toy version of MK's cleaver-whip that Papyrus made for him for his birthday to be exact* Haha. Ok, "slay" away, Rex.

 Rex: Heeheehee! Yadamataaaaaaabuuuuhdaca! *he exclaimed, grabbing his favorite toy with his tail and using it to "slay" his big sister*

 Rex greatly enjoys attacking his parents and siblings with his toy weapons, pretending that they're bad guys. And while he's usually gentle whilst attacking, he can actually get a little crazy at times. But of the other four lizards, GK handles his craziness the best. With GK, Rex can act as crazy as he wants. She'll lie on the floor and then he'll go to town attacking her with one or more of his toy weapons. And the little tyke himself is very appreciative of how GK just lays on the floor and takes every single "death blow" from one or more of his toy weapons like a champ too. She handles physical pain exceptionally well. Tickles, not as much. At least not initially. And that's quite unfortunate for GK because little did she know; Rex "slaying" her with a toy weapon was all a ploy just to tickle her! Yeah, after attacking her with his cleaver-whip toy for a little while to avoid suspicion, while standing next to her or on top of her (on her back, legs, or tail) at any one time, he slid down to her ankles the first chance he got, sat on said ankles with her feet between his little legs, tossed his toy weapon aside, and then went to town scribbling his clawed fingers all over her bare soles, sending her into a fit of surprisingly squeaky laughter.

 GK: EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEK!!! *squealed GK, quivering her feet the moment she felt Rex's fingers scribbling against the bare soles of them* HEEHEEHEEHEEHEEHEHEEHEHEHEHEEHEHHEHEEHHEHEHHEHEHEHEHEE!!! *she laughed, her toes wiggling and splaying as if they have minds of their own, like MK's toes sometimes do whilst being tickled on his feet* REHEHEHEX!!! HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! REX, STOHOHOHOP!!! HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! REX, NOHOHOHO, DOHOHON'T TIHIHIHICKLE ME!!! *she pleaded through her squeaky laughter, wagging her tail and trying her best not to hit Rex with it at any one time* HEEHEEHEHEEEHEEHEEHEHEEHEEHEEHEEEHEEHEEHEEHEEHEEHEEE!!!

 There are limitations to GK's telepathic abilities. She couldn't read Rex's mind to find out if he would tickle her or not. No, the only thing she knew was that he wanted to play with her and her empathic abilities allowed her to feel how giddy he was on the inside before and during their play time together. But now that she's being tickled by Rex, her telepathic and empathic abilities have been rendered useless! It's incredibly difficult for GK to use her abilities whilst being tickled. Though especially when tickled on her feet! Just like the rest of her family, GK has super ticklish feet and her weak points consist of the centers of her soles, the bases of her toes, and the spaces in between her toes, just like her mother. And before too long, Rex zeroed in on two of those weak points of GK's. The centers of both of her soles to be exact and his clawed fingers were all he needed to send her over the edge with squeaky laughter. And poor GK laughed so hard she cried, waterfalls of tears running down her cheeks as she flopped on the attic floor like a fish out of water. But luckily for GK, once her flopping became too frantic to handle, Rex got off of her legs, freeing her from her predicament but then placing her into a new one the first chance he got. When Rex removed himself from GK's legs, GK happened to roll over onto her back while taking a moment to catch her breath. But before GK could stand up however, Rex crawled under her surprisingly stretchy checkered shirt and tickled her armpits (the spots where her arms would be if she had any) and sides with his fingers and toes respectively, sending her into a fit of squeaky laughter once again as she tried her best to keep as still as possible for him once again.

 GK: *gasp* Oh no! Rex! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEK!!! HEEHEEHEEHEEHEEEHEEHEEHEEHEEHEHEEHEEEHEEHEEHEEHEEHEEHEE!!! NOHOHOHOHO!!! HAHHAAHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHHAAHAHAHHAHAHAHA!!! STOHOHOHOP!!! HAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAAHHAHAHAHAHA!!! NOHOHO TIHIHIHICKLING!!! HEEHEEHEEHEEEHEEHEEHEEHEEEHEEEHEEHEEHEEHEEHEEHEEHEEEHEE!!! REHEHEHEX, PLEEHEEHEEHEEASE!!! HAHAAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! NO TIHIHIHICKLING!!! *SQUEAK* HEEHEEHEEHEEHEEHEEHEEHEEHEHEEHEEHEEHEEEHEHEEHEEHEEHEHEE!!!

 With Rex lying on her stomach underneath her checkered shirt, the only part of Rex's body GK could see was his long tail, which he was wagging happily like that of a dog. Every other part of Rex's body was covered by GK's shirt. But not his tail! And before GK could even think to latch onto it with either her feet or own tail, Rex drilled the tip of his skilled tail directly into her right hip, another weak point of hers, and by doing so, he made her shriek the loudest of shrieks, one that Rocco heard from all the way downstairs. Upon hearing GK shriek, Rocco knew that that was his cue to head back upstairs and help Rex tickle her. But not before first giving today's special guest the ok to come over.

 Rocco (on the phone with someone): Hey, it's me… Hehe, yeah... Well, anyway, I was just calling to let you know that you can come over now… Hehe, yep! Rex is making her laugh right now as we speak… Uh-huh… Great! I knew I could count on you! See you in a bit…

 Rocco: Hahahaha! Showtime! *said Rocco after hanging up the phone and moments before heading up to the attic*

 Before too long, Rocco was up in the attic with GK and Rex. And since GK has difficulty using her abilities whilst being tickled, Rocco caught her completely by surprise with his mere presence. She couldn't sense Rocco coming up the stairs at all! And before that, all the while Rex was tickling her; she couldn't sense Rocco anywhere in the house! But now that he's up in the attic, GK can now ask him to help her. And Rocco did help GK, but not in the way GK had anticipated. Sure, he may have pulled Rex out from underneath her checkered shirt but shortly after doing so, he grabbed her and pinned her face-down on her bed; gently, of course. Then after Rex made his way over to the two of them, Rocco scooped him up with one arm, while using his other arm to hold GK down against the bed to prevent her from escaping, and placed him directly on top of GK's back, which further prevented GK from trying to escape since she didn't want to risk hurting the little 13-month-old himself. Then once Rex was all situated, Rocco sat at the foot of the bed and placed both of GK's feet in his lap. With Rex sitting on her back and her feet in Rocco's lap, that meant that her only means of defense was her long gray lizard tail. And she thought about using it too, to slap Rocco or something of the sort. XD But long before that could even happen, Rocco intertwined tails with her, limiting her tail's movement and thus removing her last method of defense.

 GK: Ahhhhhh~ Father, why?! *asked GK in disbelief, curling her toes and squirming lightly, lightly due to Rex sitting on her back, on her bed, in anticipation to what's about to happen*

 Rocco: Hahahaha! Why to cheer you up of course, princess. Hahahaha! And don't act like you don't enjoy it. I know a tickle-loving child when I see one. Believe me, I know! *teased Rocco, mere seconds before he began scribbling one set of fingers against the soles of GK's bare feet; first her right sole, then her left sole, then her right sole again, then her left sole again, and so on*

 GK: EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEK!!! *shrieked GK, damn near kicking Rocco in the face only to be stopped by Rocco's free hand holding her feet down in his lap* HEEHEEHEEHEEHEEHEEHEEHEEHEEHEEHEEHEEHEEHEHEEHEE!!! NOHOHOHO, FAHAHAHATHER, NOHOHOHO!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAAHAHAAHA!!! OHOHOH MY GAHAHAHASTER, NOHOHOHOT MY FEEHEEHEEHEETHEET AGAIN!!! *she pleaded, her toes wiggling and splaying once again as if they have minds of their own* HAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA!!! *SQUEAK* EEEEEEEHEEHEEHEEHEHEHEEEHEHEHEEHEHEEHEHEEHEHEHEHEHEHEEHEE!!!

 Rocco: Hahahahaha! Oh, gee, princess. You know, I'd like to stop but… I just can't seem to get my fingers to stop what they're doing. You know what I mean? *teased Rocco, gradually increasing his tickling speed with his fingers with every passing second* Hahahahaha! Coochie coochie coo! Coochie coochie coo!

 Rex: Heeheeheeheeheehee! Dabaduteekeegikaaaaaaaaaaaa! *babbled Rex, enjoying the sight of his father tickling his sister, seconds before joining in on the fun himself*

 Before too long, Rex began helping Rocco. And right as Rex started tickling GK, GK's laughter shot up an entire octave. Sitting on top of her in an upright position with her neck between his legs, Rex wiggled his little clawed toes against said neck and his little clawed fingers against the spots where her arms would be if she had any, tickling her to tears once again. And if that wasn't already enough, he also used his long tail to tickle her everywhere else on her torso, every spot within his reach. Rex is a talented little tyke, capable of tickling with his fingers, toes, and tail all at once; he's like a little tickling machine! ;) And he should consider himself lucky that GK doesn't have arms. If GK had arms, she'd likely grab Rex, pin him down against her bed in front of her, and then tickle him silly, putting his little "reign of terror" to an end rather quickly. Well, she'd try to, at least. With Rocco tickling her super ticklish feet the entire time, her efforts to tickle Rex would likely be in vain. It's difficult for her to concentrate whilst having her feet tickled and since she inherited all of her mother's weak points in those spots, Rocco knows all too well where to strike to get her laughing her head off, since he tickles his wife more than anyone. ;) The centers of her soles, the bases of her toes, and the spaces in between her toes; those are her feet's weak points and also where Rocco just so happened to be tickling her a few seconds after Rex started tickling her. And boy did the two of them ever get GK laughing! They wanted to cheer her up after she had spent so much time worrying for MK and they've likely succeeded in achieving that goal. And it might not seem like it but GK does actually enjoy being tickled. She enjoys it a great deal. She just doesn't always like admitting that she does, that's all, hence all of her various pleas to stop whilst laughing. It also depends on who's doing the tickling. GK enjoys being tickled by those that she trusts the most and while those individuals generally consist of her father, Rocco, her mother, Lydia, her older brother, MK, her younger brother, Rex, and her three best friends, Blooky, Patty (Patience), and Kyle (Kindness), there are others that she enjoys being tickled by just as much if not more. And the man that Rocco called prior to heading back upstairs after preparing a meatloaf for lunch just so happens to be one of those individuals. :)

 GK: EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEK!!!! HAHAHAHAHAAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHHHAAHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA AHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! OHOHOHOH MY GAHAHAHASTER, YOU MISCHIEVOUS LIZARDS!!!!  ???: Hehehehe. Well then let's give that to them, little lizard girl. *said a familiar voice, startling Rocco and Rex enough to make them stop tickling GK* Hehehehe; though, mostly just your father… my "little brother." Hehehehe.

 Rocco: Eeeeeep! Who said that?! *asked a suddenly startled Rocco, despite already knowing who he had just heard, while letting go of GK's tail but keeping her feet in his lap* Ehehehehehe. *gulp* S-say, kids, is it just me… or did it just get HOT in here all of sudden? Which one is it?

 ???: Haha, very funny. *said the familiar figure sarcastically, one second before lighting both of Rocco's large feet on fire with a snap of his fingers, which in turn made Rocco leap off of GK's bed and tap dance around the attic while laughing like a madman, because the fire was tickling his large feet, not burning them XD*

Mount Falls: Welcome to Shelton Manor (Redraw) I hadn’t done anything for my Mount Falls (Gravity Falls and Undertale crossover) for a looooong time. So while taking a break on my art request, I drew out the sketch of this, a redraw from last year. The last one didn’t have lil Scarfy (the shy lil mouse that lives in Snowdin, Undertale), so I added her as well. This took about two days to do and I’m extremely proud of the background. Yes I could’ve done better but this was probably the first background I’d done digitally.  Anyway here are the characters from left to right:Chara Hawthorn, Scarfy, Frisk Hawthorn, Mettaton, Maddie (Mad Dummy), GK (Monster Kid Goner), and MK (Monster Kid) Enjoy.

Hey, so Goner Kid’s sprite has a ribbon instead of spikes, and Monster Kid mentions having a sister. What’s your take on that?

that’s interesting! But i don’t think it can work based on the nature of Goner Kid themself, as Goner Kid’s whole thing is that they exist in a world where they themself don’t, and that nobody remembers them.One of their dialogue options is ‘Just forget about me’,Also, Goner Kid can only be encountered in Waterfall, and Monster Kid and his family live in Snowdin. I’m not sure what dialogue he has that mentions his sister (other than the echo flower dialogue but i don’t think that’s either of them cause neither sounds like Monster Kid)Whatever Whatever, basically, Goner Kid’s dialogue implies that they are essentially ‘gone’ from the world, that they don’t exist and that nobody remembers or misses them. If GK really was MK’s sister, then they wouldn’t remember ever having one. And even if we’re assuming that GK isn’t really ‘gone’ in the sense of being erased from existence, and that they simply fear the idea of being forgotten, their dialogue still implies that they don’t want to be remembered or thought about.‘Please don’t think about this anymore.’‘Please forget about me.’If they were really related, im sure that Monster Kid would ask the human if they’ve seen their sister around, and that they can’t find her.Or something like that

In Pieces: Background Info and Ending

After completing over a hundred pages, I gave up completing *In Pieces, my Undertale fancomic set in a neutral ending.  People were curious how it was going to end, so I collected together my notes.  You can read them yourself under the cut:

Ghosts are Monster progenitors.  Once upon a time, a single spot received a large amount of emotion, and that emotion took on a life of its own; a ghost.   This is why ghosts tend to be very single minded (Blooky is sad, MD is angry, MTT is ambitious) Upon becoming corporeal, they can have offspring, and these offspring became Monsters as we know them, having more diverse emotions as they're mixes of different ghosts

Nature of Boss Monsters:

Boss Monsters are the product of a Ghost becoming corporeal in the body of a living creature. This nature causes them to have an excess of Determination compared to other Monsters as well as a more solid form. They can utlize this in various ways.  When Toriel created the new Spider Queen, she was infusing the spiders with extra Determination.  It is the same concept as the Amalgamates, only done with purpose, finesse, and imbued emotion like with other transformations (emotion -> ghost, ghost -> monster).  Lack of study of Boss Monsters and no recorded history keeps Alphys from making this connection

Gaster's Experiments: (This flashback sequence was to be the next story arc) Gaster tried to solve the barrier issue by looking to the past.  He attempted to return Monsters to a pure emotional state like Ghosts originated from in hopes of transcending the barrier; this resulted in:   1. The Gaster Followers were regular Monsters with their Determination removed; not the desired effect   2. The Skelebros were brought from the past in attempt to pull something in from beyond the barrier.  Many Monsters were pulled in this way, but died on arrival; the skelebros survived because they were a variation of Boss Monsters, but lost enough determination in the transfer to be "downgraded" to regular Monsters.  This is really just an elaborate backstory to make Sans and Toriel have less of an age gap and not super important >>;;   3. The Void is discovered. An access key is created; hopes are exploration will lead to a way out, but it is fruitless   4. Gaster's daughter fools around in the lab one day ends up having her determination removed, resulting in Goner Kid   5. Snowdrake's Mother's job was keeping the CORE cool (a job replaced by ice wolf throwing those icecubes into the river in the game).  Despite a lovely friendship with Papyrus who brings her lunch and stuff, Gaster overworks her in his grief over his daughter's disappearance, causing her to Fall Down, and there being an explosion in the core, and Gaster being lost there   6. This has the side effect of Gaster succeeding in becoming pure energy.  When Alphys is sucked into the Void in the beginning of the story, she becomes a vessel for releasing this energy: the Gaster Blasters literally blast Gaster around.  I still had some kinks to work out on why that was linked to Justice and how Sans was accessing that, but basically remnants of power from his transfer

Goner Kid:  As noted, she was Gaster's daughter with her determination removed.  In this run, a very rare occurence happened: she managed to have a fun value that let her materilize in a different location, right when MTT was killed. MTT was not corporeal, but a Ghost inhabiting a machine with an excessive amount of magic, and the explosion allowed her to absorb this odd mix, causing her to have more access to the real world again.  She realizes that she needs much more determination to have any hope of becoming truly real again.  The True Lab is empty at beginning of the story because she basically ate all the amalgamates for their determination, but it still isn't enough.  She has 2 major targets that she hopes will give her the final boost she needs: Toriel, the last remaining Boss Monster, and MaDOS, who is also a Ghost in a magically infused machine, and whose destruction could potentially give another boost like MTT did

What Happened Next:

After Sans gives Toriel all the backstory from the Gaster experiments section, Toriel insists they let Undyne know.  After some conflict, Undyne believes them due to her dreams about Alphys.  Flowey then comes forward and tells them that Goner Kid intends to take over the Underground by absorbing the energy from Ghosts, which is a lie to further his own agenda of stealing GK's gathered Determination for himself.  At the same time, he has been telling MD that Undyne, who has more determination than a regular Monster, is actually GK's target.  He wants MD die, give GK the boost, and make GK a more whole vessal for Flowey to absorb and attain godhood, because he figured out how that all happened through observation.  

Undyne orders all ghosts to be put into protective custody (except for MD, whom she doesn't know is a ghost), and challenges GK to a duel, thinking she can just beat them into submission.  MD tags along hoping to protect Undyne, whom they no longer hate (possibly have developed feelings for?? this is the one sided crack ship I mentioned in the initial faq about the fic; I was very hesitant to add it even though I thought it would be interesting, because I was scared alphyne shippers would get angry somehow.  They at least respect her deeply at this point.  There's also a little side story about them going on a shopping trip in there somewhere).  Flowey tries to manipulate MD into fighting Undyne again, but they refuse due to the reasons just stated, and so Flowey kills them himself.  

Upon the explosion, GK does indeed gain the extra determination and physical presence and a heck of a lot of power.  Flowey is quickly overpowered and absorbed by her himself.  Sans, Toriel, and Undyne retreat to the Void using the key and meet up with Gaster, and put together the last few lose ends and come up with a plan, which is basically massive Gaster Blaster attack to separate the determination and Goner Kid again.  This is a success which has a heartfelt father/daughter reunion and they are at peace in the void together, basically.  

However, there is a by-product here: the excess Determination.  Toriel ends up possessing it due to her higher tolerance through her solid nature as a Boss Monster, and becomes officially The Most Determined Being in the Underground, which was in flux with the human gone.  With this power, she realizes a major decision is possible: she can make it so that their timeline is never reset again.  Undyne wants her to reset so that all her dead friends come back and argues against this possibility.  Sans tries to stay neutral.  Napstablook, who totally was taking part in the story the whole time (and also ended up having a cool lil robot flying saucer thing called Limewire that he used to help in the fight briefly), expresses that everyone that was left has matured and wants everyone to just go on; either way he's going to be sad, but at least he had made amends with his cousin, MD, and they had died doing something they believed in. Sans tries to stay neutral.

The plan was to show the outcomes of both choices.  The canon ending is locking the time line, breaking through the barrier with a combination of Gaster Blaster and Determination beam, which neutralizes it, and Sans and Toriel living out the rest of their days "not in pieces, but in peace"

Monster Kid “Goner” Sprites

If you go back to the beginning of the pier where Undyne throws spears at you while you have a Fun value higher than 90, you’ll find “Goner Kid”, a slightly altered version of Monster Kid’s sprite. The last sprite is GK facing upwards; they have two lines on the back of their head. Goner Kid asks you about a world where’s everything’s the same, except you don’t exist. Everything functions exactly the same without you. If you come back to them with an umbrella, they comment that it’s not raining, but laugh and say that makes them feel a little better. (Just speculation on my part, but it may be because even though there’s no purpose for the umbrella, you still choose to hold it. Likewise, Goner Kid was removed from the timeline and everything’s the same, implying they may not have had a purpose, and yet the protagonist talks to them. They may feel a little better knowing not everything has to have a purpose to be worthwhile. Who knows, though.) After that, they tell you to forget about them. Chapter 2: MK’s Little Sis! :D

 Gracie: Hello, brother *said Gracie in her usual monotone and somewhat soft-spoken voice*

 MK: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!! *screamed MK frighteningly as he frantically leaped into Gaster’s arms*

 Gracie! MK’s younger sister, Gracie is the gray lizard girl that scared MK just now! And by how quickly her usual stoic frown turned into a cynical grin, she seems pretty proud of herself for doing so. ;)

 *HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA~!!!!*

 Upon witnessing MK leap into Gaster’s arms, everyone in the living room watching the cute and funny scene laughed spontaneously and heartily at the same time. Gracie has a rather consistent habit of startling and/or scaring practically everyone simply by just showing up in places unexpectedly. Almost as if she has the ability to teleport. And poor MK is the one she frightens more than anyone and his reactions to being jump scared by his younger sister herself are beyond hilarious.

 MK: Sis, come on, that’s like the umpteenth time you’ve scared me like that this month!

 Asriel: Hahaha! It’s funny when she does that to someone else!

Frisk: Hahaha! I know, right?

 Sans and Papyrus: And we got it all on tape! *exclaimed Sans and Papyrus in unison as they held up their smartphones, special smartphones that respond incredibly well to skinless fingers* ;)

 Undyne: Fuhuhuhuhuhu! Yes! Nice work, Skeledorks! Fuhuhuhuhu!

 Alphys: Pfffffffft!! Hahahahahahahaha!! *snort* Skeledorks! Hahahahahaha!! *snort* Good one, babe!! Hahahahahahahahahahaha!! *snort* Hahahahahahahahaha!!

 Undyne: Fuhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhu!

 MK: Aw man; seriously, you guys?

 Sans: Hehe. I’m afraid so, kiddo.

 Gracie: Don’t take it personally, brother. That’s just one of my ways of showing you how much I like you. You know that. *stated Gracie in a surprisingly heartwarming tone of voice, causing everyone to think, “Awwwwwwwwww! So cute!” to themselves upon hearing her*

 MK: Yeah, I do, sis. I do.  

 Papyrus: …Oh my god, where are my manners? Hello there, Girl MK; a pleasure to see you as always.

 Gracie: Ha, ha. Well, if it isn’t the younger son of Dr. WD Gaster himself. …Hi, Papyrus.

 Gaster: Haha! Girl MK. Papyrus, that’s not her name. Her name is Gracie, remember? Or, if you prefer, you can call her GONER KID… or, GK, for short. ;)

 MK’s soon to be 10-year-old sister, Gracie, is… GONER KID aka GK!!! She is a gray lizard monster that has a strong resemblance to MK and even though she is technically not a Goth, she sure as hell qualifies as one due to her cynical attitude, her rather gloomy view of life, and her interest in all things that are both dark and spooky. Like MK and the Dreemurr kids, GK is enrolled in Toriel’s elementary school but unlike MK who is in fifth grade and the Dreemurr kids who are in sixth grade, GK is in fourth grade; and family friends, Patricia (Patty) and Kyle (Patience and Kindness respectively) are in fourth grade with her. And just as MK did with Bradley (Brad), Isabella (Izzy), and Justin (Bravery, Integrity, and Justice respectively) and just as the Dreemurr kids did with Perry (Perseverance), GK worked on many school projects with Patty and Kyle both in and outside of school and she is just amazing friends with them overall. GK is also someone whom Papyrus refers to as “Girl MK.” But no one can really blame Papyrus for doing that though since GK is THE splitting image of her cheerful and energetic older brother from her head all the way down to her six clawed toes. Really, the only differences between her and MK are their skin colors, their clothing colors, their clothing (MK wears a striped shirt with brown pants while GK wears a checkered mini dress with dark gray leggings), the number of spikes as well as the location of the spikes on their heads (GK has 2 spikes on the left side of her head and 2 birthmarks on the back of her head), their eyes (GK’s pupils and irises are barely visible), and their heights (MK is slightly taller than GK). It should also be noted that unlike MK, GK was not built a pair of robotic arms, meaning that she still lacks arms entirely.

 Papyrus: Oh yes, that’s right. Silly me! Nyeh heh heh!

 MK: Heeheeheeheehee!! Yes, and she’s so adooooorable too! …And squishy! …Squishy face! *teased MK as he squished his sister’s cheeks, which made both Frisk and Chara giggle since they do the same thing to Asriel from time to time*

 GK: Please stop doing that, brother. *requested GK with an annoyed expression, prompting MK to move his robotic hands away from her cheeks.

 MK: Uh-oh, looks like someone needs a tickle. *teased MK as he wiggled his robotic fingers right next to GK*

 GK: Tickle me and you die!!! *yelled GK jokingly (hopefully) as she tail-whipped MK’s robotic hands*

 MK: Ok, ok, I’m sorry, sis! I won’t tickle you! I was just kidding! Honest! *MK shouted frighteningly as he hurriedly backed away from his scary younger sister, which made the Dreemurr kids, Undyne, and Lydia all laugh in response*

 GK actually does like being tickled by her brother. She just doesn’t like being tickled by him when others are watching, that’s all. And unknown to both her and MK, she’s like Undyne in that regard.

 Lydia: Hahahahahahaha!! Oh, you kids. Hahahahahaha!!

 MK: …I’ll just tickle Mom instead! *shouted MK with an evil grin on his face*

 Lydia: Hahahahahaha!! ………Wait, what did you just say, honey puff? *Lydia asked nervously*

 Seconds later, MK ran excitedly towards his mother. Then, without warning, he playfully pinned her against the floor on her back. Then he kneeled over her. And then he began tickling her like crazy, scribbling his robotic fingers teasingly all over her knees and thighs, wiggling his clawed toes whimsically all along her sides, and gliding the tip of his tail ever so slightly all along her stomach with every passing second. Like MK, Lydia is quite ticklish herself. And with no arms, she’s practically powerless to stop MK from attacking a few of her weak points with his fingers, toes, and tail, much like MK was back when he didn’t have robotic arms. ;)

 Lydia: PFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! *Lydia laughed hysterically and beautifully… and squeakily at the same time* HOHOHOHOHOHONEY PUFF, NOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHO!!!!!!  Lydia may be wearing one of her many maxi dresses right now. But that dress, along with several of her other dresses, is made of silk, meaning that it does very little to reduce the feelings of her son’s fingers, toes, and tail on her sensitive sides, stomach, thighs, and knees. ;)

 Undyne: (OH MY GOD! Now MK’s tickling his mom?!!! …Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah, that’s soooo adoooorable too!!! Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah, oh man, when will all of this cuteness end?!!! I don’t know how much more of it I can take!!! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!)

 Undyne can tell that Lydia doesn’t entirely mind being tickled by MK in such “evil” ways. Therefore, Undyne is NOT upset with MK for pinning her down and tickling her in front of several of their friends. Not one bit. After all, Undyne clearly wouldn’t be on the verge of having another cuteness attack if that were the case. ;)

 Asriel: Hehehehe. Hey, MK, mind if I join you? *asked Asriel with an “evil” grin on his face*

 MK: Haha! Not at all, Az! Go right ahead!

 And so he did! After being given the ok to join in, Asriel sat on Lydia’s legs, trapping her tail in the process, and began tickling the soles of her feet; gliding his furry fingers ever so slightly along every inch of them with each passing second. (The center of her soles, the spaces in between her toes, and the bases of her toes are her weak points!) :D

 Lydia: EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEK!!!!!!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!! *Lydia laughed even more hysterically, beautifully, and squeakily* AZZY, NUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUHUHUHUHUHUHUHUHU!!!!!!!!!!  Well, looks like Lydia’s got herself into quite the pickle here. With her tail and feet trapped and no arms, she has no way of defending herself from the boys’ tickle attacks! …Or does she? ;)

 Sans: Hehehehe. Hey, Lydia; need a HAND? *asked Sans jokingly while holding up his left hand and without any intention of offending Lydia due to her lack of arms and hands*

 Lydia: HAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!! NOHOHOHHOHOHOHOHOHOHO, SAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAANS!!!!!!!!!! *assured Lydia through her hysterical laughter* HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!! JUHUHUHUHUHUHUHUST NEEHEEHEEHEEHEEHEED TO CONCENTRATE IN OHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHORDER TO… HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHA, IN OHOHOHOHOHOHORDER TO…

 Mere seconds later, Lydia’s eyes turned light blue and then, with her full concentration, she summoned A PAIR OF MAGICAL ARMS, light blue arms that she can manipulate the sizes of at will!!! :O And with them, she grabbed both MK and Asriel and lifted them directly off of her. Then after that, she pinned them down against the floor with those magical arms of hers and kept them pinned down until she was ready to let them go.

 MK: *frightened gasp* Oh no! How did you manage to… *another frightened gasp* Oh god, don’t tickle us back, Mom! We’re sorry! We’re really, really sorry!! *shouted MK worriedly*

 Under normal circumstances, Lydia has an incredibly hard time summoning her magical arms while being tickled. But today however, she actually managed to summon them and provide herself an opportunity to tickle MK and Asriel back. But, to the two monster boys’ surprise (and relief), she didn’t tickle them back at all, actually. Instead, she let them off with a warning. Awwwww! Such a nice lady! :D

 Lydia: (Oh, those two boys; tickling me like that in front of all our friends! Hmph! …Ehehehehe. Ah well, at least now I don’t feel so guilty about setting them up for some tickles from Mettaton next Tuesday after school. Mettaton wants to tickle MK and Azzy so much; and after helping Sans scare the bejesus out of him yesterday morning, it was the least I could do for him.) *thought Lydia to herself with an evil grin on her face*

 Ohhhhhhhhh! Lydia’s going to have Mettaton tickle MK and Asriel next Tuesday after school! Perhaps that’s why she didn’t tickle them back with her magical arms at all. ;)

 MK: Ehehehehe. Sorry, Mom. I should know by now that it’s your job to embarrass me; and not the other way around.

 Lydia: Oh, it’s ok, honey puff. All is forgiven. Really, all is forgiven. *said Lydia with a heartwarming smile as she made her magical arms disappear* (6 words: Tickles from Mettaton next Tuesday, boys!) *thought Lydia to herself with an evil grin once again*

 Chara: Aw man! Lydia, you can’t be serious! *said Chara disappointedly* After all that, you’re forgiving them just like that?!

 Lydia: Heeheeheeheeheehee!! Yes, my dear, yes I am! (Again; tickles from Mettaton next Tuesday, boys!)

 Chara: Ehehehehehe. Well then, looks like I’m gonna have to punish them for you! *exclaimed Chara as she pushed MK over onto his back* Or, at least the one that started it anyway! *exclaimed Chara as she wrapped her left arm around MK’s ankles and began tickling his scaly feet with her right hand fingers* Heeheeheeheeheehee!!

 MK: EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP!!!!!! *MK squealed* HAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! *MK laughed hysterically* CHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHARA, NOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHHOHO!!!!!!  With that said; Undyne ran upstairs to her bedroom with blazing speed to squee into one her pillows once again and then stayed in her bedroom until all of the tickles were over and done with.

 Chara: Hey! Wooooaaaaaah! *Chara shouted worriedly upon being lifted up into the air by Sans*

 Seconds later, Sans gently placed Chara back on the floor.

 Chara: Ugh. Sans, did you have to? *asked Chara disappointedly*

 Sans: Yep. …Because it’s breakfast time, kiddo! *shouted Sans excitedly, which surprised everyone in the room due to how chill he normally is* MK and GK’s old man made all of us some of his famous breakfast sandwiches this morning.

 Chara: *excited gasp* With his secret family recipe sauce? *asked Chara excitedly*

 Sans: Hehe, of course. Rocco never makes his breakfast sandwiches without it. Hehehe.

 Chara: Hehe! Nice! ...By the way, where is Rocco? How come he’s not here?

 Lydia: Oh, that’s because he’s currently at home resting, my dear. After filling in at a restaurant out of town for an entire week, he’s awfully tired. (But somehow not tired enough to babysit Rex and make breakfast sandwiches for all of you.)

 Chara: Oh, ok. :)

 Like Toriel and Kyle (Kindess), MK’s father, Rocco, is a very proficient chef. But unlike Toriel however, being a chef is what Rocco does for a living. And last night, in celebration of Undyne’s return from her vacation, he insisted on baking his famous breakfast sandwiches for everyone the following morning. Rocco also happens to be another cooking instructor (the other one being Toriel) that gave Papyrus a few private cooking lessons to help the wacky skeleton himself become a better chef. Since Papyrus is such close friends with MK, it should come to no surprise that Papyrus wound up befriending MK’s parents, as well as GK, in addition to MK.

 Later… after everyone ate their breakfast sandwiches… and after a few more friendly conversations…

 Sans: Hehe. Well, kiddos, I think it’s about time we going, don’t you think?

 Asriel: Oh, yes, definitely!

 Frisk: Lead the way, Sans.

 Lydia: Haha! Ok, see you later. MK, GK, you kids have fun today, all right?

 GK: Yes, mother.

 MK: We will, Mom! *responded MK as he hugged his mother and Alphys goodbye*

 Alphys: See you around, “little bro.” *said Alphys with a heartwarming smile*

 MK: Same to you, “big sis.”

 Moments later, all five kids and the three skeletons left the house and went into the front yard, leaving Lydia alone with Undyne and Alphys so she can catch up with the two girls a bit longer before going back home to her husband and baby boy.

 In the front yard,

 MK: Have fun today, sis.

 GK: *sigh* I’ll try to, brother. *sigh* I REALLY hope this time alone with Gaster goes better than I think it’s going to. *said GK while shaking nervously, very nervously*

 MK: Hey, hey, it’s ok, sis. This is a big step for you, I get that. But just know that if today doesn’t go the way you’d like it to go; well, you can always count on me to cheer you up at the end of the day. Just remember, your big brother’s got your back.

 GK: Thanks, MK. *sigh* I know I don’t say it a lot, but, I really do love you. *said GK while smiling*

 MK: I know you do, sis. And always remember to believe me when I say that the feeling is definitely mutual.

 Moments later, GK, touched by what she was told a few seconds ago, proceeded to hug MK by wrapping her tail around his waist since she doesn’t have arms. Then immediately after that, MK hugged her back with both of his robotic arms and his tail; and all the while he hugged her, he continued reassuring her that her day with Gaster will go just fine. Also, unknown to the two reptilian children, Undyne saw and heard them interacting with each other while she was grabbing some beverages inside the house for herself, Alphys, and Lydia. The way MK and GK interacted with each other brought a tear to Undyne’s eye and seeing MK’s loving and caring nature towards his sister helped prove to Undyne even more that MK can be trusted again after the whole under-the-bed tickle torture incident back in April.

 Undyne: *sniffles* Oh, MK, you are such a sweetheart. *sniffles again* You’ve been doing one hell of awesome job earning back my trust after what you did to me back in April; and as long as you continue being the kind, loving, caring, friendly, funny, silly, and adooooorable sweetheart that you truly are; well, you can GUARAN-ASS-TEE that there will be an anime convention ticket in your pocket by the time June rolls around.

 One minute later…

 GK: Ok Gaster, I’m ready. *claimed GK as she stopped hugging MK*

 Gaster: Hehehehehe. I’m very pleased to hear to that, young lady. Here, I’ll help you into my car.

 A few seconds later, Gaster held the back door on the passenger side of his car open for GK and then as soon as the young lizard girl herself positioned herself comfortably in the seat, he fastened her seat belt for her. GK could have easily done all of these things with her mouth, feet, and tail. Gaster was just being polite, that’s all. And GK appreciated it very much too.

 Gaster: And there we are. All strapped in and ready to go.

 GK: Thanks, Gaster.

 Gaster: Hehehe. No problem.

 Frisk, Chara, and Asriel: Bye, GK.

 MK: Yeah; bye, sis!

 GK: Goodbye, everyone.

 Gaster: *gently shuts GK’s car door* Well, this has been fun and all, but it’s finally time for me to get going. GK and I have a big day ahead of us and I don’t want to keep her waiting any longer than I have to. So, see you soon, everyone.

 Sans: Oh yeah, we should get going too. Bye, Dad.

 Papyrus: Yes, see you soon, Dad.

 Asriel: Bye, Gaster. Oh, and if we don’t see you before then, see you next Saturday.

 Frisk and Chara: Heeheeheeheehee!! Heck yeah! And we absolutely can’t wait to see that new room of yours! *said the two 12-year-old girls in sync*

 Next Saturday, Gaster will be watching Frisk, Chara, Asriel and MK at his house in the woods. And when the four kids go to Gaster’s house next Saturday, they will get to spend time with their favorite skeleton “uncle” in this huge room in his secret basement (only Gaster’s family and very close friends know about his secret basement and the basement itself isn’t super deep underground like the practically empty Kingdom of Monsters is) that he’s been working on for several months now. And regardless of whether or not things go well with GK today, GK will not be joining them since she made plans to spend next Saturday with Patty, Kyle, and Perry (GK is close friends with Perry since he’s Patty’s older brother) a long time in advance.

 Gaster: Hahaha! I like your enthusiasm, young princesses. Thanks. And, MK, it was so heartwarming seeing you interact with your sister like that. She’s so lucky to have a loving and caring big brother such as yourself. And, as I said earlier, I’ll do my absolute best to make this day unforgettable for her.

 MK: And again, I have absolutely no doubts about that Gaster. Now, go on have a good time together, ok?

 Gaster: Hehehehe. We will, MK. *chuckled Gaster as he rubbed MK’s head*

 As soon as Gaster said his final goodbyes to everyone in the front yard, he finally got into his car and then took off with GK, leaving Sans and Papyrus alone with MK and the Dreemurr kids in the process.
