further criticism of "Christmas With the Joker":

quite apart from the question of where on earth the Joker, an incarcerated mental patient, obtained the resources to build undetected a rocket inside a Christmas tree upon which to escape through an Arkham Asylum skylight, then send a (presumably remote-controlled) tank with a crude figure of Santa on top of it rumbling through the streets of Gotham before launching a custom pyrotechnic display of his face, then shoot and broadcast a mock TV holiday special (with title graphics, a soundstage, functional lighting, laugh-track and cameras, and an audience of cardboard cutouts of his enemies) blocking all other TV broadcasts in the city, and abduct the commissioner of police, a senior detective and a prominent journalist

we can all go along with that

there is no reason why a healthy adult should be unable to spit a candy cane out of their mouth

IMO, S4E5 “The Letterkenny Leave” has the first scene that really shows off how well Stewart and Roald work as a duo. Devon and Gae had both left the group after seasons 2 and 3 respectively, and while the skids had some great scenes in the previous episodes of this season, those scenes were mostly being dominated by Glen whereas here the hockey players serve more to set up the dialogue for the skids. Like this scene is just part of the B plot for the episode and there’s not really any story development here, but in retrospect this is one of my favorite skids scenes for how much craft they brought to the table.

And not to discount Connor and Darien in this scene, either. Them spitting pill bottles into Roald’s outstretched hands is just brilliant. This group of methheads is a well-oiled machine

i started watching letterkenny. omg. it's unhinged. the funniest thing i've watched in a long time. i don't know how they manage to get out any of these lines with a straight face. all their dumb sayings, the hockey players, the dancing!!! incredible. and glen! obsessed with that weirdo.

i love how in letterkenny there are only like a dozen people in this town. jonesy has no friends anymore because his one friend is dating katy and the hockey season is apparently over so the poor guy is reduced to hanging out with glen the weird gay preacher and stewart’s gang of emo meth heads but those two hate each other and jonesy doesn’t even have a car… poor guy
