AAAH I have a mutual who’s 18 and he sorta kinda is flirting with this one guy who is a minor as a joke of course ( to which a concerned anon said that it’s weird ) but I can’t help but flashback to er*s

#tis i! tragic daughter one of three!#motherless at age 26 #the last wake was today and this was more fun than the 1st. more casual. my moms childhood friends were there #ans it was fun to catch up with my uncle and his side of the family #i feel so weird tho. bc ppl r asking how we r and like genuinely i feel fine most of the time #like my sister is like: i sacrificed so much for my mom and i saw her downslide into death #and im like yea i fucked off to [redacted state] and showed uo after the horrible part was over #and bc im finally on medication i really feel better than i have possibly ever. so its just weird #weird to br at my mother's wake and think: god ive wasted so much fucking time being miserable. i dont want to do that anymore #and i feel like thats an option now. i mean ill always be frustrated by the same things. the difficulty reading and focusing #and the lack of social ease. but it feels like less of a big deal now #i say that now before im entrenched in school again. but idk. its just weird #but idk i love my mom but there was distance there and i have weird insect brain which i think makes it hurt less #i dunno. maybr ill feel it more later. when im on my own again #its just that i never reached out to her. i didnt realy on her and she didnt reach out to me so now things won't change much #i dunno. well see #unrelated

i hate that i cannot talk about this book i finished with anyone cause it's sooo

#i'm doing a kinda reading challenge in which i read one book for each country (more or less. the term is loose)#i started with new caledonia and found this book that i just finished about this spinster obsessed with beetles that decides to go #to new caledonia to find a golden beetle. and as her assistant she gets this bimbo girlie obsessed with pink and men #at first they don't get each other but by the end of the book they are willing to die for each other and oh my god it really got me #i could also feel some queer undertones the way the spinster progressively starts wearing 'men's clothes' (the book is set in the 50s) and #becomes extremly protective of her assistant and her [redacted] wanting to provide for them before anything else #idk it just got me by surprise. i literally had never heard of that book

#this👌🏻close to dropping my therapist forever I swear #i was telling her how my parents have acted my whole life like my body belongs to them and chose all my haircuts and clothes until age 14 #and still act like its a fucking national tragedy every time i change my hair or get a tattoo or something #and how ive had a terror and disgust at the idea of pregnancy since childhood so much so that i used to have nightmares about it at like 5 #and shes like well i need you to carefully consider if your desire to ‘change your body’ and ‘masculinize it’ is truly YOUR desire or if #you just want to make gestures to rebel and reclaim your possession of your body🥺#like wow youre so smart did you perchance read freud? I never considered the idea that events that have occurred to me might have affected #my identity behaviors and desires!#and like of course theres overlap of course these things are related. but even if its that way even if worst case scenario we do a Psyche #Deep Dive and find out that i was redacted as a kid or whatever. WHAT would that even change about me now!!!#WHY shouldn’t i be able to do things that would materially improve my life by giving me a measure of psychological peace even if i might #not want those things in a hypothetical alternate reality where nothing happened to me . why do i have to be sane and normal in order to #make decisions about my body and my life.#god. we struggling girlies🤪

#told my mom about the Bombshell my dad dropped on me & my brother 16 years ago tonight #only for him to call us shortly after to be like Um You MUST Be Misremembering. I Have a Good Memory And I Would KNOW If I Told You That #but. he has a terrible memory. he has memory problems that he refuses to acknowledge and gets VERY defensive about but like #my brother was there and we’ve talked about it…it’s also True Information that nobody else has EVER mentioned to me #(one Allusion from my mom’s stepbrother but he made it clear he would not tell us anything we didn’t already know.#but that was my first Genuine Outside Confirmation and that was only in 2021 lol)#huge weight off my chest it was not something he should have handled the way he did and then i just had to Know #but he DID NOT FUCKING REMEMBER!!!!!!!!! one of the defining moments of my adolescence him turning around in the fucking driveway saying #you kids know that [redacted] right? that’s why i sold the business #and then getting out of the car. like that Changed Me #anyway now that my mom knows we know she’s going to finally give us the further information i have desperately wanted for uh #more than half my life lmao #god bless #i’ve been working up to telling her for a few months since i finally worked through my anger @ him but it just suddenly. i understand venting without wanting solutions but sometimes there NEEDS to be solutions and you NEED to accept help otherwise you life is always gonna be fucking miserable

#[redacted]#please i do understand not wanting any help solving your problems and just ranting about them #but when there are things people can help with you need to trust that they can help #my mother is working on my sister’s grad cap and was going on and on about how #i needed to look at her because she looks like crap and she’s not going to have time or energy to shower before tomorrow and my sister is #going to be so embarrassed #and so i asked what can i do to help #thinking she could go shower while i placed things togetehr or whatever #and she in a very just flat out condescending tone was like ‘well it’s not like you know how to iron’ (by the way i DO and shes literally #SEEN me iron but i digress) and when i stated that i did she got very mad and got very accusatory saying where the hell did i learn to do #that (which??????) and that no offense she doesn’t trust that i won’t fuck it up and she can’t take that chance #and i get not trusting people but holy fucking god at some point you HAVE to #and this is just one example of this week this is how she gets with EVERYTHING #and i know i can be annoying and aggravating in the way i try to fix things especially in situations i don’t fully understand #but telling your children that they are incapable of doing anything and you have to do everything you isn’t healthy 💜💜💜💜#idk #eris: text
