i injured my wrist walking like a mile dragging a granny cart full of pumpkins (and milk) 😩 (this is both a wrist i already have problems in cause of a past job + amusingly my non dominant hand)

actually i think this is a combo of me typing way way way too much the past two months + dragging a heavy and unergonomic cart home like that.

regardless of the exact cause, i can say confidently: oww wrist hurty

Had a big day but I'm desperately needing more small days

#i got a lot of things done today! #got my car cleaned (and seats shampooed from my little adventure last Sunday) and got gas #a bit of shopping done at target #did grocery shopping and got the last few ingredients for my cheese board #did 6 loads of laundry! AND cleaned my bathroom #made the cheeseboard and bacon wraped dates #put away the laundry and picked out my clothes for tomorrow #tomorrow the ceo is in the office so i dont want to dress up lol i'll take a costume tho #i was so productive today but i wish i could have done this over the course of two days #and being able to rest more while getting a whole weeks worth of chores done #i feel a bit sad. its going to be like this for a while #and today is Halloween and i while i was able to fit in some seasonal activities i wasnt really feeling it this year #too much going on I think #i did do the haunted trail and a pumpkin patch which are my two big ones but didnt get any pictures #of me in a cute outfit like I wanted #and i haven't had time to watch any scary movies (or dont look under the bed) #or reread the series i like to read this time of year #i had to get rent and quarters for laundry and answer work emails in the store #and i cant help feeling that im at this final little edge to my young adulthood. not a child not a teen not a young adult. just an adult #with no time and responsibilities and trying to find fun in the gaps and romanticizing my iced coffee #also! my dad asked me for money to fix my brother's windshield and im still having feelings about that #but ah off to bed. nervous to meet my boss today. everyone talks about how scary he is #i have some time off in January. maybe I'll take a trip

I just looked up how tall pumpkin plants grow, and it said they can grow up to 20ft (6m).

I don't have anything that tall for my plants to steady themselves with.

#I guess this is the problem with growing seeds from fruit at a grocery store #I thought pumpkins were supposed to be Vines. I didn't know they were giant tomato plants! #I don't know their specific variety so I can't do a specific search for them. Pumpkin plants are said to grow somewhere between 2 and 20 ft #...maybe I could check to see if I'd taken a photo with the sticker on the pumpkins. I think it had some kind of sugary name... #I tied a rope to a shed roof but they really dislike that rope. And the fastest growing one is almost to that roof already. #I probably should've suspected the plants wouldn't be like what I'd pictured. When I bought the pumpkins last year... #I'd always assumed pumpkins were these solid Things. Instead they were like large bell peppers. They rot. They're just an average fruit. #But they're also a lot like cantaloupe. Very cantaloupe-like. They have cantaloupe innards. #But the plants are like tomato plants but with larger flowers. #I found a photo! and... it just says Pie Pumpkin. ...that's... just the general kind of pumpkin isn't it. Not what plant it is. :/ #Well at least the pumpkins are small? Forgot how small they were. And I'd figured if I get 2-3 to grow this year then they'd be smaller. #Since I'm not taking care of them like a farm would. So I figure they'll be pretty small. Probably could hold one in the palm of my hand. #...like. unless I'm wrong and the pumpkins end up growing huge. Or if there ends up being a whole bunch of pumpkins. Who knows. #Pumpkins are weird.
