hajun was a busy man, usually neglecting his own needs to ensure that BAE had the best opportunities to succeed in the hiphop industry. more often than not, he forgot to eat in the mornings, his only meal of the day being dinner with allen and anne

but, his sweet girlfriend couldnt let this unhealthy habit continue. the night before, you would end up in the kitchen cooking him a breakfast to pack the next day. it always consisted of some aspects of south korean cuisine to remind him of home, something that he silently appreciated.

it was almost like his routine now to save each of the adorable messages you would write for him, every single one being put in a box under his bed. whenever he felt stressed or like he was useless, hajun would read each of the notes one by one; it never failed to bring a smile to his face at how much you loved him

₊˚✧ NAYUTA YATONOKAMI

whilst nayuta always wanted to be self sufficient and independent, he tended to skip out on meals when he could. it was partially due to him not wanting to stress kanata out, but mostly, it was just him forgetting that he had to eat sometimes

obviously, you hated this habit he had and always reminded him to eat throughout the day, going to the point of cooking him his breakfast and handing it to him when you visited his and kanata's apartment in the morning. nayuta's face would light up each time at the cute bento and even cuter notes, happily giggling to himself like a child as he ate the delicious food

whenever nayuta had a bad day, he would reread the messages you had attached with the bento and a red hue tinted his cheeks and the tips of his ears. kanata often teased his little brother about how giddy he would get when you handed him his bento for the day, but in reality, he was just happy that his little brother had someone that loved and cared for him and his wellbeing

on the other hand, unlike the other two, kanata would almost be embarrassed when you insisted on making his meals for the day and it might make him feel even more insecure about his living situation - it makes him feel like he's being pitied, something he hated. so, more often than not, he would refuse the offer of you making his food

however, if you had already gone to the trouble of buying, cooking and preparing the food for him ... he just might take it from you; of course, not without complaining and huffing. he would never admit to you that he thought it was one of the cutest things in the world, though

when kanata would return the empty bento box to you, he would never directly say that he absolutely loved it. it would always be something like - "i guess it wasnt awful" or "it was edible at least". he just isnt able to openly show his appreciation, but he really does appreciate that you want him to look after himself more

“Why do I keep getting attracted, I'm drawn to you like a magnet.”

≡;- ꒰ ALLEN SUGASANO ꒱

✦.* — When Allen falls in love, he would feel awkward about it. He himself is already a socially awkward person in the first place and his love are mostly dedicated to hip-hop only. So, when he feels attracted to you, he would unable to speak to show his feeling. He would also feel love-struck too, overwhelmed by his own feeling.

✦.* — Therefore, Allen decided to write an entire letter full of his feeling about how much he loves you, except he worded it with lots of exclamations and some typos that you cannot comprehend it, much of your second hand embarrassment.

✦.* — You decide to meet him face-to-face in the hip-hop record store, the place where Allen usually hangs around there with Kanata. But this time, Allen was alone there, not because Kanata didn't want to go with him, but because Allen purposely went earlier to there, so he can confess to you to become his soulmate. When he tried to confess you, he would do it awkwardly with a blush on his face, much of your confusion.

✦.* — Even his confession is hilariously embarrassing, just like his own letter that he wrote and sent to you, you still accept him wholeheartedly and believe that he could be a great boyfriend to you who will shower you with love and affection.

“You're my one and only hip-hop soulmate of my life. I hope we can talk more about hip-hop. Would you like it?”

≡;- ꒰ YEON HAJUN ꒱

✦.* — It's quite hard to tell how Hajun looks like when he's in love. However, a little blush on his face could tell that he has a feeling to you. Still, he feels indifferent to his feeling since he likes to hide under his mysterious persona, which makes you curious to know about him.

✦.* — When you stare at him, he will stare at you back and smiles at you gently. Still, you're not sure if the smile on his face is a gentle smile or it's just to mask his own feeling. “Hajun, it's fine if you want to talk to me, feel free to talk with me. I would listen to what do you want to say.” Unfortunately, he completely ignores your suggestion as you said that, much of your frustration. You sighed in disappointment and assume that he doesn't like being open to his own feeling to you that much and feared that he actually didn't love you back.

✦.* — Turns out, Hajun tend to suppress his feeling, hence why he doesn't want to make it obvious that he's in love with you. When you asked him hesitantly about his feeling and thought that he wouldn't love you because he keeps ignoring you, he just chuckled. “No, I actually fall in love with you, but I feel indifferent to it, since I didn't receive one from when I was a little.” You feel relieved after hearing that and asked him. “So, you probably just can not express your emotion openly?” He nodded slowly.

✦.* — “That doesn't mean you didn't love me right?” You asked him again nervously. He chuckled, “Of course not, why would I do that to you?” He said that as he slowly approaches you and holds your chin gently while rubbing your lips softly with a smile on his face. Then, he stares at you and slightly goes to whispers to your ears, confessing his feeling, which make your heart can't stop beating nervously. After he did that, you nodded nervously while he shows his signature smile as usual. You feel stunned and unable to speak one word but instead, thinks about what he confess to your ears.

“I know you're just an ordinary person, but you seem special to me and my heart. So, would you like to receive my feeling, love?”

≡;- ꒰ ANNE FAULKNER ꒱

✦.* — Anne will be honest with their feelings when they feel drawn to someone like you. However, they choose to keep their feeling in their heart because they feel not ready to express it. Anne thinks love takes time to receive it and they cannot reveal it way too soon. They want to reveal their feelings if they have a right time to do it.

✦.* — Anne would try to know you more first, such like talking, sharing stuffs, doing something together like shopping while trying to flirt with you a little bit. They will also try bonding with you together, such like doing mix and match clothing and understanding each other's interests.

✦.* — As time passed by, Anne finally tried to confesses you. When they approached you, they will placed their palm against the wall while staring at you dearly. Basically, Anne would give you a kabedon but in a gentle way. “I have something to confess to you.” They asked. You feel stunned, wondering what would Anne want to said to you. You nervously gulped, as they keep staring at you for a long time.

✦.* — “Would you be my love~?” You feel intrigued, while Anne looks at you with a warm smile. You nodded slowly, as they gently grabbed your shoulders and softly kissed you on your cheeks. After that, you caressed one of your own cheeks, with their own lipstick mark on it. You gazed at Anne, who smiled at you and gently wipes away the lipstick mark with their thumb. Then, Anne whispers another question to you.

“So, are we officially become a couple now, sweetheart~?”

obsessed with hajun because he is so loveable but also deeply unlikeable. which is... literally the charm of his character. he's slightly strange and incredibly elusive and undoubtedly morally questionable but no less human. he's sharp-tongued and insensitive at times, but he's clearly trying to be gentler, and a little more aware in his manner when it's necessary. (congratulations on the cognitive empathy, hajun, i'm sure you'll put it to good use.) i like that his moment of vulnerability didn't soften him up but he's learned to be honest with the people he loves. i know hajun is very much in his senses when he does something wrong, makes someone uncomfortable / embarrassed but i also don't think he'd appreciate his actions being moralised. at the end of the day, he wants to be seen, known and understood for who he really is but he's afraid of baring himself that way. he doesn't want to be an open wound, his childhood home was not forgiving enough for him to express any kind of injury. i suppose he thinks, "if i am to be abandoned, i'd rather be abandoned like a house on fire, not a sick dog. something malicious, unsympathetic and worth remembering, if not possible to return to." he's kind of twisted like that, and it's endearing to me (unfortunately).

we don't know much about his childhood in the yeon household (he did move to japan all by himself when he was 13 - which is a whole another can of worms to unpack because can you imagine having to independently build a life at that age in a new country, learn a new language and stand on your feet after being thrown out by your family? can you blame hajun for being a razor-sharp hazard to society? his childhood was pitiless, the city was even more so, no wonder hajun's only constant companions were his isolation and the fangs he had to grow to survive.) but i'll make a reasonable inference based on dongha's experience. we see hajun as he is now, with his cold, precise anger but we also see dongha's wet, thrashing rage that hasn't realised its purpose or target yet. dongha is the closest we have to understanding the extent of the yeon's family cruelty. dongha is everything hajun would have been if he'd still been his parent's son, hajun is everything dongha could be if he leaves behind his family. which is still insane, if you think about it. and i think about it constantly.

the self-made cynic, as they say. i like that he's disarming, unsettling, insincere, insensitive, sadistic, self-serving, cunning manipulative etc. whatever people want to say about him, but i also like that he's his truest self with allen and anne, and doesn't plan on changing that. the world be damned, they are the only ones that matter because they've looked him in the eye without flinching or turning away. like... BAE are so everything...

anyways, i hope he continues to be perceived exactly as terrible as he pretends to be, and i hope the writers leave his beautiful, skewed moral compass intact because i love every single reprehensible act he commits. (for his next trick though, i hope he uncovers something to launch a billion-dollar lawsuit against yeon conglomerate and sink them into bankruptcy.) i hope he continues to cook for allen and anne, i hope he stays fiercely committed to protecting them and caring for them, because clearly everyone else is nothing and if there is one thing he has faith in, it's the family he chose for himself, the family that chose him right back.

hajun and his quiet, precise rage. hajun and the childhood he had to bury so he could evolve to survive in a bigger, crueller world. the childhood that taught him to be afraid, and the adulthood that hasn't quite unlearned it just yet, but baby steps. something about hajun and i get mean when i'm nervous like a bad dog. something about anne and allen embodying tell me every terrible thing you did and let me love you anyway, and hajun taking the risk of believing it. and taking the risk every morning until he doesn't forget. hajun and i am not brave enough to look those who love me in the eye. hajun and it's not a conscience that assures morality, it's the resolve to be a better person to people you care about.

✧.* — He has been working as a model for every fashion stuffs, so of course he will look like what you expected with masquerade outfits. Attractive, handsome and eye-catching. Hell, even imagine his gestures and smile is enough to make you want to scream affectionately.

✧.* — As you attend the masquerade event, he comes just like you expected. A prince-like vibes with a masquerade mask attached to his face, as well as charming tuxedo and elegant cape, which captivates you. It makes you think he looks like a prince who comes from fantasy tales into the real world than a rapper.

✧.* — Ever imagine how would it feel like if he asked you to dance with him? The amount of happiness inside you boost so hard as you said yes to him. Dancing together with him like some kind of fantasy royal story.

✧.* — Wouldn't be fun playing games such like guessing each other and enjoying the parade with your mask on together with him? Bonus point, if Hajun can correctly guess you and take his mask off while kissing your lips without hesitation, which make you blushes.

✧.* — "Hajun, this is so embarrassing..." You put your mask on, trying to hold yourself from this awkward situation, while he looks at your face, smirks at you cheekily, as he puts his finger on his lips.

✧.* — "Hm? Is that so?" As Hajun said that, it seems like he tried to flirt with you, while you trying to remind him that he is currently in the public parade when everyone can see what he did to you. Hajun just leaves a little laugh while you feel embarrassed because of him.

✧.* — "So, you didn't like being in the public parade, huh? Or... this is your first time when you attended, hm?" He asked you with a gentle tone. You nodded awkwardly while holding your mask.

✧.* — "I see..." He muttered, while holding his finger on his chin, as well as his iconic, cheeky smile shown on his face. He suddenly has an idea to cherish you to calm the awkwardness.

✧.* — "Hey, take my hand. I have something to show you." He whispers to you gently, while offering his hand to you. You nervously hold his hand. Then, he escorts you into the stairs, climbing up into the second floor until he reached to the balcony, where you can see how the entire parade is like.

✧.* — "Ah... the parade looks wonderful to see from here." You feel amazed while Hajun looks at you with a smile and chuckled. Later, he gently rubs your chin while stares at you with a soft look.

✧.* — "Uhm... Hajun? Why are you rubbing my chin? First of all, why are you bringing me here? What are we gonna do here now?" You asked him nervously, assuming that he probably will show his affections to you.

✧.* — "Do you enjoy the parade, dear? I bring you here so you can view them without getting distracted by the mobs." He asked you while putting his mask around his eyes. You nodded to him, as you put your mask like the same of him as well. Later, Hajun showed his smirk, but not a creepy smirk, instead it's a soft smirk that calms you.

✧.* — "I want to tell you something... may I... give you a kiss...?" He proposed. You nodded and accepted his request. While gently holds your shoulders, he kissed your lips softly.

✧.* — After kissing you, he stares at you with a little blush on his face, wondering if you like it or not. You smiled at him, while gently rest on his chest. He gently hugs you, while rubbing your back. You didn't expect that he can be this soft, knowing how he always acted cold and stern. It looks like he showed his warm side.

✧.* — "Behind his mysterious and cold face, there is a soft side hidden in him."
