James Hook taught his five kids 10 important things;
Tumblr media
Don't let your temper get the better of you.
Don't get mad, get even.
Keep your friends close but your enemies closer.
Your family comes first. Before anything else.
Do right by your crew.
Go for the throat.
Don't ever loose focus while in a fight.
Don't get caught.
Never go against your morals unless you have to.
And never kidnap royalty.
Harry and Cj followed only about 3 of those.
Hannah followed most of them along with Ginny.
And Harriet took all of them to heart.

Three day ago I have decided to learn drawing (even if I should learn English before) and this night I tried to draw an angry Harriet Hook. I personally think it's ugly but why don't post it?
So I'm here. What do you think about it?

Harriet Hook and Anthony Tremaine for the writing prompt? Post-canon, post- "A Very Isle Wedding-," the day after the birth of their first child? With Harry, CJ, and Dizzy coming to visit?
Tumblr media
Anthony slept soundly in a chair near Harriet's bed side, heading resting on her shoulder as they finally got some much needed rest after a 48 hours in labor.
Their new born son, Thomas, on the other hand, kicked restlessly as he tried in vain to roll over. Already trying to explore the strange new world he was in.
Just as he stared to fuss about not getting his way, he was lifted up by his uncle, Harry.
"Hey little guy, wanna go on an adventure?" The first mate asked, smiling mischievously.
Thomas cooed in response, which was basically a yes.
"I knew he'd say yes.. I'll go pull the car around!" Cj declared triumphly, practically vibrating with excitement.
Both of them were fully committed to running off with the tiny red head to go on a death defying adventure and probably would have if it weren't for one thing.
Dizzy.
Who immediately took the baby from them, staring them down sternly. Staring at them as if they were idiots from another planet.
"No"
"But--"
"Aw come on Diz, it'll be fun--"
"No. Absolutely not. " She cut them off, absolutely refusing to relent on the matter.
Cj's shoulders slumped as she realized that they weren't gonna get their way, silently resigning herself to waiting until Dizzy was gone to take the baby. Harry, on the other hand, still thought that arguing with the young hair dresser would work.
"Aw come on, lass, take a walk on the wild side for once." He reached for Thomas.
Dizzy just narrowed her eyes, looking very unimpressed. "Do you want me to wake Harriet up so you can have this conversation with her?"
Harry feel silent and Dizzy just smiled smugly.
"Yeah, that's what I thought."

The troubles of parenting as a pirate;
Tumblr media
Summary; here is a snippet of Captain James Hook's struggle as a father to his five kids-- Ginny Gothel, Harriet Hook, Harry Hook, CJ Hook, and Hannah Hook.
Trigger warning; fire and brief mention of child injury.
⚔🏴‍☠️⚓🦴⚔🏴‍☠️⚓🦴⚔🏴‍☠️⚓🦴⚔🏴‍☠️⚓🦴⚔🏴‍☠️
"THE FIRE BLOODY WELL DIDN'T START ITSELF! SO, WHICH ONE OF YOU DID?!" Was a sentence 47 year old, Captain James Bartholomew Hook never thought he'd be saying at 2am to anyone-- let alone his own kids.
Yet here he was in the kitchen of his ship in his robe, arms crossed, staring down his 5 young children. Waiting for an answer that would likely not come easily, knowing his kids. And it seemed he was right because all he was met with in that moment was silence. Pure, blissful silence that he would have loved to have any other moment of the day that was not now.
His eldest two (who didn't know they were sisters) sat side by side, mirroring his stance. Arms crossed, blue eyes meeting his own-- faces showing no emotion at all. The bottoms of their night gowns singed and their slippers covered in ash. It was just his luck both of his eldest daughters (Harriet and Ginny) had inherited his stubbornness and ability to keep a tight lip about things, despite the fact that he hadn't even raised one of them. Teenagers.
A quick glance at his remaining three told him that they weren't going to be much help in figuring out what exactly had transpired either. Harry was glaring at his banaged feet, sulking and no longer howling in pain. The bottoms of his trouser legs having long since burned away. His night shirt and hands, which were gripping his knees, covered in ash and soot.
Little 8 year old Calista was the messiest of the five. Covered head to toe in soot and ash. Her clothes would definitely need to be cleaned or thrown out all together. Her hair charred black at the bottom and calling out for a hair cut. Hands burned and bandaged. Not meeting his eyes. She defines wouldn't be cooperating. All 4 of them seemed to be guilty.
The only one who seemed to not be at fault was his youngest -- little 7 year old Hannah who wasn't wearing her goggles or hearing aid. She was facing the wrong way and her hair was frizzing up everywhere, into every direction. Feet bare and not a speck of ash on her. This was the last thing he wanted to be dealing with at 2am while his wife was bedridden. But it wasn't like he could drop it without punishing one of them. Especially since whoever did has hurt Harry and Cj, and could have killed them or someone else or put them out of a home.
James sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. "Cj, please get Hannah's attention for me, Monkey". Cj kicked Hannah, causing the youngest girl to jump and spin around. Getting her to finally face him. He made a mental note to reprimand her as soon as Hannah was out of the room. But first..
'Hannah bug, you can go to bed. You obviously had nothing to do with this' he signed carefully, making sure she had enough time to read it without her goggles. This earned him a big smile from Hannah who swiftly left the room-- bumping into the door frame as she did so.
Cj started laughing while his oldest three all started to protest. Which was the usual for these situations.
"What--"
"Oh come on!"
"That's not fair--"
James could feel a headache coming on. One that he knew would only worsen before the night was over. As he pinched the bridge of his nose once again, all he could think was 'Have kids, they said. It will be rewarding, they said...'

The history's thick;
Tumblr media
Summary, Ever since Hannah was little, she knew she was different from her siblings. Different in the way that she wanted to be a hero do the right thing. But it had never been a problem until she had come to Auardon and been forced to make the hardest choices of her life that left her heartbroken. Now she's stuck trying to control her powers while thinking back on her past with her siblings.
⚔🏴‍☠️⚓🦴⚔🏴‍☠️⚓🦴⚔🏴‍☠️⚓🦴⚔🏴‍☠️⚓🦴⚔🏴‍☠️
A wise person once said "Sometimes you think that you want to disappear but all you really want is be found". And it seems that alot of people agree with them, because that quote can be found everywhere. On the internet. Graffitied on walls. In books.
It was one that had always resonated with Hannah. Always. Ever since she was a lonely little girl with only one friend in the world who couldn't understand those around her as clearly as she liked. Ever since she had found it in a book while snooping through Harriet's things when she was 3. And it had never stopped because Hannah understood that quote more clearly than she had ever understood anything else.
She understood it because she had felt both ways all throughout her life. She felt like she wanted to disappear sometimes and like she wanted-- no needed-- to be found other times. She had never stopped feeling that way-- either way. Not when she got her own crew and made her own reputation on the isle. Not when she started getting along with her siblings. Not even when she made it to Auardon and found that fitting in there was easier than she had originally thought it would be.
But now? Now at 13? She was feeling it more strongly than she ever had before. And she wasn't even sure which one she truly wanted at the moment. Because feelings weren't always that easy to understand. Especially not the ones she was currently feeling.
Hannah took inhaled deeply, leaning back and resting her against the tree she was sitting against. Doing her best to calm herself as she hugged her knees tightly. She didn't want to loose control of her powers again. Not after the last couple of times. She didn't want to hurt anyone again. Especially if they were innocent or a kid or someone she actually cared about. It couldn't happen again.
Hannah took another deep breath as her hands began to shake and squeezed her eyes shut a barrage of memories assaulted her. Both positive and negative that she couldn't block out. Which only caused her to panick more.
Someone was gonna notice she was gone soon and come looking for her, and they'd get hurt if she didn't stop acting like a baby and just calm down. Why couldn't she calm down?! Hannah pressed herself back further into tree as her eyes started to water. No no no...
⚔🏴‍☠️⚓🦴⚔🏴‍☠️⚓🦴⚔🏴‍☠️⚓🦴⚔🏴‍☠️⚓🦴⚔🏴‍☠️
"Come here, Hannah. That's it. You got it" 7 year old Ginny encouraged, holding her arms out towards her. She was kneeling on the ground infront of a few barrels on the Jolly Roger, trying to get Hannah to walk. Not that Hannah knew that at the time.
Harriet sat behind her on one of the barrels, reading a book. Not even acknowledging what was going on. She had already given up on trying to get Hannah walk at this point, deciding to let her walk in her own time. Which was proving to be difficult since Hannah could barely hear or see them. Luckily for Ginny and by some mere miracle of fate, Hannah finally noticed her.
Hannah squealed happily and began to reach her, but Ginny didn't move any closer. Hannah didn't like that-- at all. She wanted to be picked and she wanted it to be now.
So, she continued to reach out to her. Waiting patiently but growing more frustrated by the moment when Ginny didn't get any closer.
And for the first time in her life, Hannah decided to do something herself. She crawled towards her determinedly, being stopped several times by crew members tripping over her-- only for Ginny to keep backing up the closer she got.
Hannah's eyes began to water as she scrunched up her face. "Ginny, stop it. You're gonna make her cry" Harriet said, wincing as she looked between the two. " No! She'll never learn if I don't push her!" Ginny snapped back stubbornly, not wanting to give up just yet.
"She'll never learn if you traumatize her!"
"Oh please, I am not traumati--"
Hannah pushed herself up-- with much difficulty-- and stood up for the first time. Causing her sisters' argument to halt as they stared at her, stunned.
Hannah took a wobbly step forward and then another. And another. And another. And didn't stop until she was infront of Ginny, who was beaming at her And picked her up immediately-- lifting her as high as her little arms would allow "You did it, Hannah! YOU DID IT! HAHA, I TOLD YOU I COULD GET HER TO DO IT HARRi--" Ginny was cut off by a swift, painful punch to the eye from her scowling baby sister. "MY EYE!" She wailed, dropping Hannah almost instantly to cover it.
Luckily, Harriet caught her. "You totally deserved that".
"Oh shut up!"
⚔🏴‍☠️⚓🦴⚔🏴‍☠️⚓🦴⚔🏴‍☠️⚓🦴⚔🏴‍☠️⚓🦴⚔🏴‍☠️
Hannah bite back a sob as she thought back to the moment that she could barely remove. Her mind was quick to compare it to the last time she had seen her big sister.
⚔🏴‍☠️⚓🦴⚔🏴‍☠️⚓🦴⚔🏴‍☠️⚓🦴⚔🏴‍☠️⚓🦴⚔🏴‍☠️
"I'm giving you one last chance, squirt. Step away from Dragon Breath" Ginny said, grinding her teeth. Grip tightening on her sword as she stared her youngest sister down.
Hannah shook her head, trembling slightly as she stared back stared at her. Not moving away from where she stood in front of Mal, even as her hands shook so badly she nearly dropped her sword. "No. I can't let you do this, Gin. It's not right. This isn't you"
The older girl's eyes darkened as Mad Maddy and Mal argued from over Hannah's shoulder. "Alright then, you asked for it" Ginny swung her sword at her legs without warning-- slicing through her jeans and into her leg.
Hannah cried out in pain and shock, stumbling back as Mal cried out in outrage and tried to jump at Ginny-- only to get pushed into the water by Maddy. Hannah quickly reached out and tried to catch her, nearly losing her balance-- only to be pushed in by Ginny.
As the small pirate plummeted backwards into the deep water where the crocodiles were waiting, she looked up at her sister-- eyes wide with fear, confusion, shock, and anger. Slightly wondering and asking how she could do this. She didn't recognize Ginny in that moment. Though that didn't last long, since she hit the freezing water not long after she was pushed into it.
The next thing she remembered was Haul giving her CPR as Jay looked for something to bandage up her leg.
⚔🏴‍☠️⚓🦴⚔🏴‍☠️⚓🦴⚔🏴‍☠️⚓🦴⚔🏴‍☠️⚓🦴⚔🏴‍☠️
The cut Ginny gave her, along with several more cuts from a glass she landed on when she hit the water, scarred. Hannah stopped wearing shorts. She couldn't stand the looks people would give her when they saw them. Hannah wasn't sure she'd ever forgive her sister for what she did-- even though she still missed her dearly.
Though she supposed they were techinqually even since she was pretty sure that her powers had lashed out at Ginny when she pushed her into the water. The fact that Ginny was scene with a large scar on her arm afterwards only confirmed her suspicion.
Amber started to grow around her as Hannah wondered what Harriet thought of all this. Ginny was her crew but Hannah was her littlest sister.. was she angry at her like everyone else seemed to Be? Or was she angry at everyone else for being stupid? It had been awhile since she had seen her.
⚔🏴‍☠️⚓🦴⚔🏴‍☠️⚓🦴⚔🏴‍☠️⚓🦴⚔🏴‍☠️⚓🦴⚔🏴‍☠️
Hannah looked up from her book when she felt the vibrations of footsteps enter her room, slightly annoyed and ready to tell Cj to Buzz off. She was still mad at her for sticking gum in ger hair. Only to immediately perk up when she realized that it was Harriet and Not Cj that had entered her room.
The five year old smiled at her and waved as she gave the 11 year old her full attention. 'Come. I got something for you' Harriet signed, smiling back before her eyes drifted to her satchel. If it was any other sibling, Hannah would have been nervous. But since it was Harriet, she didn't even hesitate to do as was asked.
Feeling both excited and curious as she watched Harriet fish two small boxes out of her bag. She titled her head to the side, wondering just what was happening. The older girl noticed the curious look she was being given and smiled, signing at her once again. 'Hold out your hands'
Hannah did.
Harriet reached into one box and pulled out a funny pair of red goggles that she immediately dropped into Hannah's hands. Then she moved forward -- after signaling for her to stay still-- and attached something to both of her ears....
The entire world came to life in that moment. The floor boards creaked under Harriet weight. Birds were croaking. Crickets were cripping. And the woosh of the sea. Hannah could hear it all. She spun around to stare at Harriet, startled by the unexpected change as the older girl smiled a bit mischievously at her. In a good-natured way. "Hunter De Vil owed me a favor. Don't go into the water with them in--" Hannah nearly hugged the life out of her that day. Infact, she had to call in reinforcements just to get Hannah off of her just because she was so happy.
⚔🏴‍☠️⚓🦴⚔🏴‍☠️⚓🦴⚔🏴‍☠️⚓🦴⚔🏴‍☠️⚓🦴⚔🏴‍☠️
Hannah puckled her hearing aids out of her ears and set them aside, covering her ears immediately after. The amber continued to surround her. She was in so much pain. But her mind didn't care. Her memories didn't care. Just like Cj didn't.
⚔🏴‍☠️⚓🦴⚔🏴‍☠️⚓🦴⚔🏴‍☠️⚓🦴⚔🏴‍☠️⚓🦴⚔🏴‍☠️
1 year old, Calista Jane stared at the squirming intruder in her crib curiously as it cried and cried. It was small and red with brown hair and brown eyes, and it was wearing one of her dresses.
She didn't like that. And for the first moment in her life, she felt spiteful. So she gave the little crib snatcher a kick. Just to see what would happen. It wailed loudly. Hannah wailed loudly. Calista paused, staring at her. And then kicked her again.
⚔🏴‍☠️⚓🦴⚔🏴‍☠️⚓🦴⚔🏴‍☠️⚓🦴⚔🏴‍☠️⚓🦴⚔🏴‍☠️
Hannah choked on her tears as they finally fell, remembering her sister's old nickname for her. Crib snatcher. Alot better than the new nickname she had for her.
⚔🏴‍☠️⚓🦴⚔🏴‍☠️⚓🦴⚔🏴‍☠️⚓🦴⚔🏴‍☠️⚓🦴⚔🏴‍☠️
"You aren't my friend anymore and you aren't my sister. You're nothing but a dirty little traitor! " The blonde had snapped, not at all pleased with Hannah's inferring in her plan. Hannah reared back as if she had been slapped, grip loosening on her sword. "W-what?! No! What are you talking about?! I'm not a traitor!"
"Yes, you are!" Cj said, standing her ground. "You abandoned us so you could stay here and live the high life! You turned your back on us and the isle. On your family. Your friends. Your crew. Your people. You're a traitor!"
She swung at her with her sword-- and Hannah just barely deflected it as anger overcame her. Neither of them noticed the blue light seeping out of her and into her sword.
"I'm Not!"
"You are! You're a spineless traitor! A backstabber! You're no better than that blasted Brat, Pan!"
Something in Hannah snapped when her big sister said that. And she felt all the searing hot anger that had been building up inside of her since she found out Cj had taken Ben explode out of her as she screamed. "NO. I'M NOT!"
Spikes of black rock spouted out of the floor and shot towards Cj. Slicing into her hand and wrist, causing the elder girl to scream in pain and drop her sword.
"CJ!" Hannah yelped, quickly reaching out to try and help stop the bleeding-- only for her sister to flinch away from her. "Get away from me! Y-you monster!"
Hannah took a step back, feeling sick. "Cj, I didn't-- I didn't mean to!"
⚔🏴‍☠️⚓🦴⚔🏴‍☠️⚓🦴⚔🏴‍☠️⚓🦴⚔🏴‍☠️⚓🦴⚔🏴‍☠️
She hadn't cared. Hannah hadn't meant to hurt her and she had provoked her, but Cj didn't care. Cj still thought she was a monster. Hannah wondered if she was right. Because she sure felt like it.
Hannah wished Harry was here. Wished that he and her were on good terms. Because he always gave the best hugs when they where on good terms...
⚔🏴‍☠️⚓🦴⚔🏴‍☠️⚓🦴⚔🏴‍☠️⚓🦴⚔🏴‍☠️⚓🦴⚔🏴‍☠️
Harry (age 8) and Hannah (age 5) sat in a rickety old rocking chair together, side by side as Harry read to her. He didn't need to, of course. She knew how to read-- had known how since she was littler. But he liked to read to her anyway and Hannah liked to let him.
Mainly because he would do funny voices and hug her close as he did so. Their favorite story was a tattered, old copy of 'The Adventures of Flynn Ryder' that they had found while dumpster diving. "And you'll always remember this as the day that you almost caught the man, the myth, the legend! Flynn Ryder!" Hannah rested her head on Harry's shoulder, smiling softly-- fighting to stay awake. It was a battle she ended up losing.
⚔🏴‍☠️⚓🦴⚔🏴‍☠️⚓🦴⚔🏴‍☠️⚓🦴⚔🏴‍☠️⚓🦴⚔🏴‍☠️
But they weren't anymore. Hannah didn't notice that the amber was still growing. And growing. And growing. Too lost in her memories. Her hands didn't leave her ears.
⚔🏴‍☠️⚓🦴⚔🏴‍☠️⚓🦴⚔🏴‍☠️⚓🦴⚔🏴‍☠️⚓🦴⚔🏴‍☠️
"Please Harry, just stand down. Don't do this! It isn't you!"
"Don't tell me what to do!"
"Ben has nothing to do with this!"
"He has everything to do with this !"
"Just let him go!"
"No!"
"Please! I don't want you to get hurt.. I love you!"
"Well, I don't love you, you bloody traitor!"
⚔🏴‍☠️⚓🦴⚔🏴‍☠️⚓🦴⚔🏴‍☠️⚓🦴⚔🏴‍☠️⚓🦴⚔🏴‍☠️
The amber encased Hannah. But she didn't notice because her hands never left her ears and her eyes didn't open. It was hollow on the inside though, so she was okay. Physically at least. Mentally? She was breaking down.
She finally let herself cry freely. Screaming as loud as she could-- trying to get out all the anger and hurt and hate she felt. Trying to stop everyone from hurting so bad. It didn't work though, cause the history was thick. And Hannah would never be able to escape it or the memories gained from it. Even if she wished she could.
She wished she had never found out she wasn't a hook. She wished she never came to Auardon. She wished she had chosen evil or stayed on the isle. But she didn't. And that decision would forever haunt her because the history is thick.

Happy Mother's day, Hooks;
Tumblr media
Summary; this is a small one-shot about how each of how Hook's wife became a mother over and over again. Enjoy.
🤰🤱👩‍🍼👶🤰🤱👩‍🍼👶🤰🤱👩‍🍼👶🤰🤱👩‍🍼👶🤰🤱
Zarina first became a mother on March 13th. A year after the isle was created. 8 months after she and James became exclusive. 6 months after she and James had married. And her feelings on the matter at the time, where... complicated, to say the least.
She loved the squirming baby girl in the little makeshift crib next to her, of course. How could she not when the wee lass looked so much like her James? But, she wasn't exactly... happy, about her birth, is all. Or, to be more specific, the environment in which she had been born.
How could she be? Who would be happy that they had doomed their child to a miserable life? One where they'd never get to see the blue of the sky or the green of healthy grass. One where they'd never be able to eat fresh food or drink clean water. One where they'd never be safe or free to fly, like a fairy's supposed to, or sail, like a pirate is supposed to. Who could be happy about condemning their child to such a life?
Not her. That much clear. It was clear in the way she had refused to even look at, let alone hold, her daughter for the first few days. Clear in the way she cried and prayed, and wrote to Auardon and Neverland for mercy for the child that was never given. Mercy that would never be given. Clear in the denial she held on to for months about the little girl being hers.
Because it simply wasn't possible that Harriet was hers. Because she hadn't planned for it. Because she hadn't felt ready to be a mom or even wanted to be one once she was put on the isle. Because fairies couldn't have unplanned children. But Harriet was hers, no matter how much she tried to deny it. Because she had come from her the way a baby came from humans. Which meant that the barrier must have made them basically human in some way or another.
With Harriet's birth, Zarina's whole world had come crashing down. And with it, came the worlds of the other fairies and fae on the isle falling as well. She became a cautionary tale. Some who had thought she was a one off also fell to her fate and then it became a known fact; The barrier made their kind basically human and children would come whether they wanted them to or not.
Which was what brought Zarina to this moment. The moment that James finally snapped and locked her in their room with Harriet, not able to take her continous ignoring of their little daughter anymore. "It's been 3 months" He had said. "You can't keep ignoring her like this. It's not healthy or fair to either of us. She's become a lost girl if you continue on like this" he'd said.
Zarina knew he was right, but she just couldn't bare to hold or look at the child she had damned. Even if he had threatened to not open the door until she finally did both. How he'd know if she did or not, she didn't know. What she did know was that she just simply couldn't put it off any longer...
So, she finally bit the bullet and oh so gently hoisted her daughter out of her barrel crib, and into her arms for the first time. And watched her with a puzzled unsure expression on her face. She had never really held a baby before. Or really met one, since fairies rarely chose to have kids of their own. So it was kinda strange at first. But it was heart-warming at the same time, watching her daughter's beautiful blue eyes dart around the room as she tried to wiggle free from her. Too small to do much else.
She was small and pudgy, and had a head full of straightish black hair that curled at the bottom. Her skin was ruddy with freckles sprinkling her nose and her tiny hands kept reaching for the jewelry that she wore around her neck. And she was absolutely breath-taking in the little white gown and bonnet she was wearing. By the time James opened the door that night, Zarina was absolutely smitten with their daughter and not quite ready to let the perfect little bundle go. Just like he knew she'd be.
🤰🤱👩‍🍼👶🤰🤱👩‍🍼👶🤰🤱👩‍🍼👶🤰🤱👩‍🍼👶🤰🤱
The next time Zarina became a mother was 3 years later, on October 22nd when her one and only son, Harrison, was born. And this time, she was much more receptive to the idea.
Though she was still conflicted about bringing children into the world, she didn't ignore her son like she had Harriet. She had learned from her mistakes and was determined to be a better mother this time around. Though, she wasn't sure if she was doing a good job of it or not at the moment.
Surely laughing at one's child (like she was doing at the moment), especially one so young, was considered bad parenting? But she just couldn't help it. Because the sight in front of her was just down right ridiculous "where do you think you're going, Mister?" She asked, kneeling down on the floor infront of son. Who was currently stuck on his side, kicking out his feet and arms-- Clearly trying his best to flip himself over so he could get going on his way.
Harry just stopped and looked at her, blue eyes wide as if he just been caught trying to escape from a prison. Which was true in a way, she supposed, considering the fact that he was supposed to be napping in his crib. He was smaller and paler than Harriet had been, and his hair wasn't curly like hers. But they were practically twins other than that and their little age gap. Having the same eyes, same hair, same nose, and same ears, and all.
He was wearing a light blue jacket and matching beanie over a little onesie that said 'Daddy's first mate' on it that Smee and his wife, Mollie, had knit him. And the entire situation was just ridiculous. Struggling to keep a straight face, she placed her hands on her hips and said "well?"
He squealed and babbled at her, going back to his little maneuvers. Glaring at her, almost as if he knew that she was amused by the situation. Zarina couldn't take it anymore and burst out laughing joyously, finally bending down to help him turn over. She decided that it was okay to laugh at him for this, it's not like he'd remember it or that anyone would ever know that she did it.
🤰🤱👩‍🍼👶🤰🤱👩‍🍼👶🤰🤱👩‍🍼👶🤰🤱👩‍🍼👶🤰🤱
The 3rd and last time she became a biological mother was 2 years after Harry was born, on April 1st, when her little Calista Jane (or Cj as she would later prefer) was born. And boy, she was not prepared for what was to come at all.
Because it turns out, that while the isle makes fairies and the fae and others on the isle practically human, it doesn't completely rid them of their heritage and genetic makeup. Meaning that Cj and other kids like her where more... advanced... than other, fully human kids were. Which is honestly something they should have figured out sooner, not that Zarina or James would admit it.
"No NO NO, CALISTA JANE, GET DOWN FROM THERE!" Zarine yelped panicked, jumping out of bed (which hurt) and sprinting across the room to the curtains her literal newborn daughter was currently climbing on. What, you thought Cj would be an easy baby? Ha, as if.... and that's just the story of their biological children. Just wait until you hear about her adoptive daughter and her step daughter-- but those are stories for a different time.

Note
So I had this one idea for a scene with the Hook siblings, including your character Hannah Hook:
.
.
The sky was a bright, hot blue. Here by the port, the barrier was weaker, since it had to be opened every month for the barge deliveries. The sky was brighter here than it was in other parts of the Isle, and on clear nights, you could almost see the stars.
As if the proximity to the weakened barrier had awakened something in her, Hannah could almost feel...something...stirring inside her, something swimming in her blood and deep within her bones, something that just wanted her to let it out, to grasp the thin lives of what plantlife existed on the Isle and let them wither and decay in her hand. Beside her, CJ was jumping up and down, higher and higher, looking as though she was about to take flight if only she had the wings that their fairy mother had once had before being trapped behind the barrier forevermore. Harry, his sword raised in the air, had gotten distracted by a single dust mote floating in front of him that was glowing in the light, an otherworldly look in his eyes, and waves curled around Uma's bare feet where she stood at the edge of the beach.
Harry and Uma. Right. The reason they were here.
Uma and Harry had decided to teach Harry's little sisters ("YOUNGER, not LITTLE!" CJ had protested) to sword fight. Despite the fact that they already knew how to sword fight, because they were pirates, and you didn't grow up on a pirate ship without knowing your weapons.
"So we'll teach you new techniques," Uma had said. "Sharpen your skills."
"That's stupid," CJ had said. "This is revenge for that time we covered your ship in seaweed, isn't it?"
"So it was ye!" Harry had yelled. "I knew it!"
Hannah had kicked CJ's ankle, rolling her eyes. CJ theatrically rubbed her legs, looking very innocent. She was good at that.
So now they were standing on the beach watching Harry and Uma wave their sword around in techniques and movements Hannah knew how to do but couldn't name. All the Hooks were skilled, and Uma of course-you didn't win your own crew and ship when you had pirate blood by not knowing your way around a sword-but who had time for fancy footwork or using swordwork as an art? Move quickly, go left when your enemy goes right, stab the shoulder, and run.
Like Uma was doing now, except without the stabbing part. Instead, Harry's hook flew out of his hand and landed on the sand.
"And that's how you do it," Uma said, curtsying in Hannah's and CJ's direction, allowing herself a rare moment of levity near those she trusted.
"I could do that in my sleep!" CJ yelled back. "Some first mate you are, Harry! First mates are weaklings! Well except Sammy! But besides him! No wonder you lost! Captains are way better! First mates are-"
Harry threw his hook at her, then ran to retrieve it before CJ did and caused all of them some problems.
"Wouldn't you have had a better chance of winning if you fought Uma with a sword instead of your hook?" Hannah couldn't resist asking. "Uma might have accidentally cut off your hand."
"I wouldn't have," Uma objected. "My aim is much better than that."
"She could've cut off your hand and saved Tick Tock the trouble!" CJ yelled at Harry, cupping her hands around her mouth to make extra sure he could hear her.
Harry rolled his eyes and waved his reclaimed hook at Hannah. "Don't you start, too."
"Start what?" Hannah asked innocently.
Harry's eyes widened. He and Uma exchanged looks.
Harry pointed at CJ. "She's becoming too much of an influence on you!" he declared with mock horror. "She's molding you into an exact version of her! One day we will all wake up to find two CJs running around, and then where, oh, where, will we be?"
Uma clapped slowly to show how unimpressed she was. "Bravo, Harry. Well done." She was smirking, amused.
If Serpent Prep had a theater class, Harry would have done well in it.
Hannah was giggling, and CJ wasn't even trying to hide her grin. "Thank you, thank you!" CJ bowed.
"Hey, that should be my line," Harry complained.
"Anyway!" Uma clapped her hands sharply, to get their attention. "Now you'll practice what I showed you-"
"What we showed ye," Harry put in.
"-one on one. You'll pair up with me and Harry, and we'll practice that way."
"What's the point of practicing with Harry if he doesn't know how to do it anyway? He lost to you!"
"Oi!" Harry yelled at CJ.
"Chil-dren," Uma sang sweetly.
"Hey!" Harry, CJ, and Hannah complained.
"I'll pair up with CJ," Uma decided, "and Harry will with Hannah. Any questions?"
"Yes," Hannah said, who was hot and tired and hungry and missing something she hadn't had since she was born, but that she could sense faintly here, near the weakened barrier, and who wanted to go home and rest and eat something and hang out with her friends, and who didn't want to wait until Harry and Uma decided they were finished to do so, and who wanted to leave now, and who had indeed been taught by CJ everything she knew, including what to say -not even to do, just to say, depending on the circumstances- to cause the most disruption possible.
"Well?" Uma asked, waiting for Hannah's question.
So Hannah asked it. "If a half-fairy and a half-cecaelia have kids, what are they?"
.
Harry Hook chasing his sisters around with his hook was a common sight around the Isle. Right now it was Hannah he was chasing, while CJ perched atop a rooftop to get a good view and shouted advice at Hannah. "Turn left! Go faster! He's right behind you! Jump over that dog! Good, he tripped! Ooh, Cruella's after him! Go right! MY right!"
"Normal siblings," Harriet muttered as she took in the scene. "That's all I ask for."
"A bit too much," Uma, red-faced and bearing a fierce expression that would have scared off anyone but Harry and her future sisters-in-law said as she joined her.
Both of them watched Hannah trip Harry and scramble to freedom, vanishing inside a rickety building and climbing out the highest window to join CJ on the rooftop, her blue streak of hair almost glowing.
"Do I want to know?" Harriet asked as Harry began collecting small rocks to throw at his sisters.
Uma shook her head vehemently, teal braids swinging. "Nope."
Tumblr media
I love this. Especially Hannah's question. She knew exactly what she was doing. So how old are they in this, anyway? Hannah might not have survived asking that question...

Harriet Hook-
♥ - family headcanon
★ - sad headcanon
☆ - happy headcanon
☠ - angry/violent headcanon
Tumblr media
Family headcanon?
She and Ginny are parental half-sisters, and Ginny is older by a month.
Sad Headcanon?
Harriet's mother(?)/stepmother(?) Zarina died when Harriet was 6.
Happy Headcanon?
Harriet grows up to have a very healthy relationship with Anthony (her husband) and their kids.
Angry Headcanon?
When Harriet is angry, everyone runs for the hills because she is down right, blood curdlingly terrifying when she's angry. So avoid angering her at all costs.
Violent headcanon?
Harriet usually tries to settle things without violence but that goes right out the window when a child, her family, or her crew are threatened/insulted gravely.

This isn't a writing prompt but I thought of an idea for why Hannah and Co. ran away for seven years, which you have to admit is a lot of time to not talk to the entirety of one's family, even with all their issues, never mind the fact that she brought all her friends with her. And that is: The Hooks are horrible at communicating.
Hannah was mad at her family - for not telling her she was adopted, for those times Harry and Ginny were fighting her, and so on. She wanted some time to herself. She wanted to be with her friends. She wanted space. She wanted to go away. So she did.
And Hannah got to live with her friends and face no family arguments or pressure or Auradon expectations. She just got to do her own thing.
She missed her family, though. They still love each other. She'd just wanted a break.
So she didn't even bother coming up with a fake name. She went and called her whole group "The Storm Bringer" just like before. She was waiting for her family to find her. It should be easy enough; she's not even changing the name. When they're ready to talk to her, they'll come find her.
The rest of the Hook siblings, meanwhile, found out where Hannah went not that long after she left, because she didn't even bother changing the name or anything. "The Storm Bringer Circus," and those not in the know thought "Oh, like they're bringing in a storm, cool!" and those in the know went "So that's where they're hiding out."
But they didn't go talk to her, because they knew she ran away because she was mad at them. They thought that if they sought her out before she was ready, she'll just be even more mad. She wants space? We'll give her space. We won't push her until she's ready. She's a teenager, she's not thinking straight, we'll wait until she wants to talk to us.
So basically, Hannah was waiting for her siblings to come talk to her. The Hook siblings were waiting for Hannah to come talk to them. This stalemate went on for literal years, because.....the Hooks are horrible at communicating.
Tumblr media
Lol, Bad communications and Bad tempers come in handy.
And then years pass, and Hannah is one of the only ones not in contact with her family. And she's tired of it.
Only everything has changed alot since she left and it's almost traumatizing than all those times she nearly died. Almost meoe traumatizing than all those fights between them.
And it's just so sad.

The three Hook children are named Harriet, Harry, and Calista Jane "CJ" Hook. CJ is the only one without a name that starts with H.
Your original character, Hannah Hook, is the youngest of the Hook siblings. In which case CJ is the only one of four siblings with a name that doesn't start with H.
How does she feel about that?
Tumblr media
Oh Cj loves it because she stands out. The only thing she does not like about her name is the fact that it's Calista Jane and not something cooler. But still, she'll take her name over a name starting with an 'H' any day. And to be fair, Hook only choose her and Harriet's names. Harriet and Zarina named Harry, and Hannah's bio parents, Cassandra and Varian, obviously named her.
So Cj doesn't really hold it against her parents at all. After all, it's not like they anticipated having to adopt a kid who's name started with H. And you can bet she rubs that fact in alot. And technically she's not the only sibling who's name doesn't start with H. There's Ginny remember?

If the three Hook siblings went to therapy, either separately or together, how do you think it would go?
If they went separately, it would go a little like this:
Harriet; would go for the least amount of time out of the three of them, would at least try to cooperate with the therapist, would horrify the therapist the 2nd most of all three of them, would try to snoop on her siblings' files, etc.
Harry; would go for the most amount of time out of the tree of them, wouldn't cooperate for the longest time, would horrify the therapist the most out of his siblings, would try to snoop on his sisters' and friends' files, would most likely be diagnosed with something other than C-PTSD (which he'd definitely have), etc.
Cj; would leave before Harry did, wouldn't cooperate for the longest time until Freddie made her, would horrify the therapist the least out of her siblings' and friends', would drive the therapist insane, would be pretty okay except for the C-PTSD that most of the kids usually have, etc.
The Hook kids going together, on the other hand?
They would all drive their therapist insane and go through therapist through therapist until they met one resilient enough to help them. Which would predictable take forever.
