The Carlyle Arboretum and Gardens were built for Lia's Coronation but will be gifted to the city for public use once its over, especially with a focus on science/biology and other related programs for Isle kids~

Okay, so as I was talking to Evie about the other day, I was going through one of my old notebooks and found a whole extended universe of Descendants OCs I had planned from middle school. I obviously don’t plan on formally introducing or doing anything with all of these OCs, because there is a lot of them, but I still thought it would be fun to share them with you guys! They’re not all in their original versions from my notebook, because a few of them did require a little changing and revamping, but I still hope you guys enjoy these little ideas from twelve-year-old me’s brain.

Soha Pride, daughter of Simba and Nala, Carlos ship. Able to attend Auradon Prep thanks to a spell from Fairy Godmother that allows her entire family to shift between their lion and human forms. Very dedicated to her duties as a princess of Pride Rock, but sometimes feels overshadowed by her older sister Kiara because she’s the oldest and the heir. Doesn’t believe any of the stuff Audrey and Chad say about the VKs and makes it her mission to be friends with them. Formerly a Jay ship. I am going to be introducing her formally in a little bit, so look out for that!

Josie Sparrow, daughter of Jack Sparrow, Evie ship. Auradon kid because it could never be decided whether Jack was a villain or not, and now he sails all around the seas surrounding Auradon and the different kingdoms. Has the ability to visit the Isle in her dreams, and it’s later revealed that that’s because her mother is Calypso. A huge troublemaker and prankster who’s constantly in trouble with Fairy Godmother, and becomes quick besties with Mal because of it when the VKs first come to Auradon.

Jackson Kelly-Jacobs, son of Jack Kelly and David Jacobs, OC ship. Son of Jack and Davey because I am a Javid shipper for life. A dancer and gymnast who’s on the R.O.A.R. team, and used to be friends with Chad before he turned into a bully. Really flirty and charming like his dad Jack, but still a total sweetheart. He and Evie quickly develop a WLW/MLM friendship when the VKs come to Auradon, and he definitely punches Chad during the Family Day thing.

Steven Smee, son of Mr. Smee, OC ship (Jackson’s boyfriend). Comes to Auradon with the VKs even though he’s not friends with them after Ben lets his dad persuade him to invite the child of a sidekick along with the children of villains so the people of Auradon are a bit “more receptive”. A complete shy sweetheart who loves his dad and brothers and misses them terribly when he leaves (because Smee is actually a really good dad) and is the reason the twins get to come to Auradon in the third movie. Kind of sensitive because he got bullied a lot as a kid on the Isle, but still has an inner strength that not a lot of people expect.

Maile Montunui, daughter of Moana, Uma ship. President and pretty much only member of the Auradon Prep Sailing Club, which the Sea Three join after they come to Auradon in the alternate post-second movie story that I had in my head. Incredibly courageous and not afraid to speak her mind, but sometimes gets herself into trouble from being too confident. Frequently curses and insults people in Samoan. Bisexual disaster who falls in love with Uma instantly, even if it takes Uma a while to feel the same about her.

Haven Hearts, daughter of the Queen of Hearts, Harry ship. Member of the VKs who had a sort of Romeo and Juliet romance going on with Harry, but has to break it off when they leave to go to Auradon. She wants desperately to be good and break away from her mother’s reputation, and dedicates herself to being better once the VKs choose good at the coronation, which causes some tension between her and Harry when they meet again in the second movie. In the alternate post-second movie story after the Sea Three come to Auradon, though, they reconcile and get back together. She’s fierce and sarcastic by nature but not mean, and she shares Mal’s love for graffiti.

Cierra Chernabog, daughter of Chernabog, Ben ship. Outcast even on the Isle because her father is a demon, doesn’t come to Auradon until after the second movie because so many people were against bringing Chernabog’s kid to Auradon the first time. Super shy and doesn’t talk a whole lot, but incredibly smart and loving. Has a demon form that she isn’t able to access until leaving the Isle, but it’s big and terrifying and still kind of cool.

Celeste Frollo, daughter of Judge Frollo, Audrey ship. Claudette’s twin sister, very religious and God-fearing due to her father’s teaching, so she has a lot of Catholic guilt over liking girls (picture, like, Carrie White with no telekinesis and if she was a lesbian). Gets to go to Auradon after the second movie, when Audrey’s slowly starting to reform herself and be more accepting of villain kids (we’re pretending the third movie doesn’t happen, I guess), and at the same time my girl slowly starts to overcome her guilt and they fall in love!

And there are even more, but I’m gonna stop there (😅). Hope you guys enjoyed this little look into my crazy little middle schooler brain!!

One of my favorite things about Descendants is like Disney has so many characters it’s pretty easy to make oc’s. You want a Cecaelia that’s not Uma’s sister? Could be Morgana’s kid. You want your oc to be a memaid and still live on the Isle? Could be Marina’s kid. You want them from the 101 Dalmatians story? Boom Anita and Roger have a baby. You want your oc to be from Greek mythology origins but not related to Hercules King Triton or Mal? The fates are moms now. You want a good mermaid that’s not Ariel? She’s got six sisters take your pick. Or he’ll you can even be Melody’s kid. Like Aladdin and want a villain kid oc from his story that’s not related to Jay? Welcome to the forty thieves babe. Want a Snow White oc to keep Evie company on the Isle? Congrats Huntsman, you’re a father. You want Mal to have a cousin? Aside from Hercules, King Triton and allegedly Ursula and therefore Morgana Olympus is full bby take your pick. Hell maybe your oc is the child of Megara’s ex she sold her soul for. Or the centaur. Or Phil, or Achilles. The possibilities are endless.

It had been nine weeks since ‘Captain’ Harriet Alice Hook had broken Anthony’s nose after he had said something that, in hindsight, the thirteen year old knew was particularly stupid even for him. 

NIne weeks. 

And, according to Marya Rasputin—The Queen’s Fury’s self-appointed medic—, it took only about six weeks or less for a broken nose to heal with or without medical treatment depending on how severe the fracture was. And that any bruising around his nose or eyes should have gone away in two to three weeks. But it had been NINE and the knuckle shaped bruising on his nose hadn’t gone away and neither had the bruising on Harriet’s knuckles.

And, despite what many people liked to believe, Anthony wasn’t stupid—no matter how many stupid things he might have said in the past.

He knew that the ‘bruise’ on his nose was too red to be just a bruise.

He just didn’t want to admit it.

Because if he did, then he’d have to admit what it really was and destroy any and all credibility he had as a pirate (it was a pure miracle Harriet hadn’t kicked him out for disrespecting her) and as both the noble Lord Tremaine and an isle kid. Something he absolutely refused to do. 

Because if he did do that, his grandmother would be disappointed and then the rest of the adults would get mad at her for being disappointed, and it’d cause a fight so loud that everyone on the isle would know that Anthony had a soul mark. Then he’d be seen as weak and everyone younger than him in the family would be seen as free game to mess with. 

Something that couldn’t happen.

Anthony groaned, placing his head in his hands after giving up on trying to wipe the mark off in the hopes that it had simply been hair dye that had somehow gotten on his nose. “Oh, putain, quel gâchis.”

Only to jump when someone banged on the door. 

“Anthony, will you hurry up! There are other people in the house who need the bathroom!”

“Je m'en fous ! Je l'utilise pour une raison, alors fais chier, Dorothy!” Anthony snapped, more than a little tired and freaked out. 

“You can do your hair in your own room!”

“Oh shut up and go away!”

“Fine, Lord Tremaine,“ The brunette said mockingly. “But I’m telling your mom and mine that you swore at me!”

And with that, Dorothy walked away—causing Anthony to snap out of his wallowing and scramble for the door in all of his thirteen year old glory. His soul mark problem temporarily forgotten. 

 “No wait! Dorothy, wait!”

Here's that Descendants OC if any of you are interested!

Name: Francis Sorcero Age: 18 Gender: Male Summary: When the isle of the lost was created, every villain was sent there. However, there was one that didn’t belong there. The Enchantress. King Beast had a personal grudge for everything she had done to him and his people and ordered fairy godmother to send her there as well.

So that’s how she ended up there. She was angered by this of course, who wouldn’t? However she didn’t hold a grudge. She was able to create her own section of the isle just for her thanks to her keeping her magic since she was so powerful. During her time on the island, she had given birth to a son, Francis. With her son and her own part of the island, life was bearable for her.

Francis was born with magic just like his mother and was taught by her how to use it. She also told him the story of King Beast and what she did to him…and what he did to her. While Francis could understand why King Beast did what he did, he still wasn’t too pleased with how he treated his mother both times.

Eventually, Prince Ben decreed that a handful of kids would be allowed to attend auradon prep, outside of the isle. Of course the main kids were the first chose, Mal, Evie, Carlos, Jay…but then so was Francis. He was surprised the son of King Beast allowed HIM to come along as well.

Once he arrived at Auradon, he had found everything…strange. It was as beautiful as his mother’s hideaway on the isle, but all the kids and royals…it was just as back stabbing as the isle. It was ironic that way. However there WAS one good thing about being there, Ben. Francis and Ben had surprisingly hit it off right away and had became friends. Then when Mal messed up her love spell cookie it wasn’t her Ben saw, it was Francis.

Francis wasn’t sure if he should erase the spell and let Ben return to normal…or if he should let it ride and enjoy the boy he started to fall for. It was a confusing time that was for sure.

(Her grandfather Geppetto taught her how to carve when she was younger, and now she loves creating and making things.)

She is much like her father (happy-go-lucky, etc), but she is also mature for her age. She is 14 years old.

She is also a dancer (mainly dances ballet and contemporary).

Her nickname is Ellie, and her favorite snack is warm cinnamon rolls.

Her eyes sometimes flash green when she's angry.

She is 15 years old.

Chrissy loves animals; she has taken in a baby donkey, which she has named Posy. (the Coachman was going to leave Posy to die, as he didn't need any more donkeys at the moment; Chrissy started to care for her)

Petunia (daughter of Lampwick -and Tiger Lily-) Requested/inspired by @casinotrio1965 (shared OC)

Petunia is the young daughter of Lampwick and Tiger Lily. She loves playing pool (and even has a custom billiards cue stick that her father bought for her) and is really good at it. She loves comfy clothes, and her favorite drink is warm ginger tea with honey and lemon.

Petunia's favorite color is lavender, and her second favorite color is green. She loves floral scented candles. (I apologize, I could only find a darker lavender in Gacha and not a lighter one lol)

She also does a bit of yoga as a way to relax and to keep in shape.

Maddy is 15 years old.

In her free time she sometimes likes to practice magic tricks (like card tricks); she's not very good at it though, but she tries anyway.

Oogie Boogie has gifted her a pair of dice.

Bella is 15 years old, and is a humanoid with burlap skin (but not filled with bugs, like her father is). Sometimes her friends call her Boogie Boogie.

His favorite season is winter; he thinks it's very beautiful and no matter how old he gets, he loves to play in it.

My oc is Gabrielle ‘Rain’ Gothel. She’s gothel’s ‘daughter’ and her fc is lucy boynton. Rain is one of the og VK’s and is dating Ben! I got rid of the love potion and its more of a truth potion so he breaks up with Audrey. Anyway they are very much in love. Rain’s ex is Uma. Also, big shocker, she’s actually Rapunzel’s daughter lol. (would be cool to see her with the Corona crown tilted on her head).

Rain has dark red (naturally blonde), wavy hair and green eyes! She’s closer with Evie and Carlos out of the VKs!

I’m not really sure what to provide lol but here’s her pinterest board and the outfit she’s first seen in inspo.

What's something she's proud to own?

She really likes her collection of jewellery, obviously. (And no, she's NOT keeping the atrocious creations her younger sisters and cousins gave her, like, AT ALL.)

(SHe is, she'd just rather die than admit it.)

She's also very proud to own a singular rose from Queen of Hearts garden that the Hearts kids gifted her "cos they felt like it". She's the only one on the Isle to be gifted a rose from the Wonderland royal family - some people managed to steal some, more people died trying to do so.

Does she ever spend more that she has?

Oh, yeah, all the fucking time.

And it can be Anthony's problem.

What would it take for her to give up an item she really likes?

For the items described above, probably nothing short of the threat of immediate death, but not a lot of people know she owns these.

Otherwise, it's not hard. Give her something more valuable and shinier.

She'd also give up her stuff to keep her younger relatives safe & fed, but we do NOT talk about that, okay?!

If she can splurge on something, what is she getting?

Good question. I don't know what her favourite colour is.

But whatever it is, her younger sisters and cousins are wearing it too. Eldest kid privileges ✨ (otherwise known as hand me downs)

Has she gone through a major physical or stylistic change?

Yeah. She chopped off most of her hair once, breaking the heart of most of her family at once. Adults were displeased at "A Young Lady Acting And Looking So" and the younger ones lost their favourite training dummy.

She doesn't regret a thing.

Oh, and once in Auradon she got healthier and no longer looks like a Romantic Heroine (pale, skeletal, might faint at any moment and looks like wind will break her in half).

𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐑𝐎𝐃𝐔𝐂𝐈𝐍𝐆… 𝐌𝐘 𝐃𝐄𝐒𝐂𝐄𝐍𝐃𝐀𝐍𝐓𝐒 𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐆𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐋 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐂𝐓𝐄𝐑, 𝐆𝐑𝐄𝐓𝐀 𝐃𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐅

❝ Long before Prince - soon to be King - Ben had seen fit to bring four villain kids to Auradon from the Isle of the Lost, Greta had been the original outcast at Auradon Prep. The daughter of Grumpy, that famously cantankerous dwarf who had helped Snow White defeat her evil stepmother, Greta certainly lived up to her father's name. Despite the best efforts of her uncles to instill a more positive personality in her while she was growing up, her outlook on life had still turned out to be a spitting image of her father's: pessimistic, sarcastic, unsympathetic, and, well... grumpy.

And, as could be expected in a land that was meant to be as happily-ever-after blissful as Auradon, this did not exactly make Greta very popular among her peers. Never mind that most of the princesses and princes she went to school with weren't actually half as nice as they seemed - Greta wore her sarcasm and impatience with stupid people on her sleeve, rather than hiding it behind false cheery smiles, so she was the black sheep, the girl her fellow students either hid from when she walked past or talked about in stage whispers when she was around. The only people who even attempted to be nice to her were Prince Ben and her cousins - especially Doug, who appreciated the protection Greta's fearsome scowl sometimes afforded him - and though Greta did appreciate them, there were also times when she wanted to just shake all of them and tell them firmly to stop pitying her, she was fine.

Except... she wasn't, not really - or at least not as much as she wanted everyone else to think. It wasn't that she actually wanted to make friends - or at least not with the prissy princesses and jock princes who would only be fair-weather friends at best. There were just times when it got to be too much, all the whispers and snide comments and younger students ducking around corners when they saw her coming. Times when Greta wished for companionship, for friends that weren't her relatives or the future king who felt sorry for her. Times when she thought she would have done anything just for someone to hang out with and talk to, someone who would smile at her genuinely and talk to her without derision or fear.

And when Ben decided to bring some villain kids over from the Isle of the Lost, Greta finally got that. Here were four people who understood what it was like to be outcasts, who held the same amount of disdain for Auradon's pretty and perfect façade as her. (Or at least three of them did, but Greta couldn't help finding Evie's constant awe at everything in Auradon kind of cute.) The bond between Greta and the group of VKs formed quickly, and when Mal decided to let her in on their mission to steal Fairy Godmother's wand and open the barrier to the Isle of the Lost, it didn't take Greta long at all to agree - how could she not, when the only people who'd ever wanted to be her friends were seeking to get rid of the model of society that had done nothing but reject her?

But as their plan continues to unfold and the VKs find themselves forming new bonds in Auradon, Greta also finds herself building a better relationship with the peers she thought all hated and feared her. However, she remains committed to the plan to steal the wand... only, as she makes more friends and starts to open up a little and even starts to fall in love with the daughter of the woman who almost killed her father, uncles, and godmother, that commitment becomes more tangled, more complicated, harder to stick to but also harder to back out of.

As Ben's coronation draws nearer and nearer, Greta finds herself forced to make a choice: will she and the VKs decide to shed their reputations and finally embrace Auradon... or will they unleash a whole Isle of Villains and prove what so many people think - that they really are rotten to the core? ❞

Topher Charming ✤ Weight Of Living 

The problem with founding a kingdom when the ruling family has no children is, of course, figuring out the line of succession.  That wasn’t the first problem with the founding of Auradon, to be fair, but it was the first one that concerned His Majesty the king.  But, in a stroke of great fortune, a royal baby was born soon after.  Christopher Charming II, son of Ella and Kit Charming, prince of Gevaudan.  And, until such time as Adam and Belle have a child of their own, the heir to the United Kingdoms of Auradon. Fortunately, Belle and Adam have a son the following year, and Topher is bumped down to being the spare.  But unlike the spares of old, there is no room for Topher to be anything less than perfect.  He’s the eldest royal child in Auradon, the blueprint upon which every other child’s future will be mapped.  A modern day Atlas, carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders, but a sacrifice that he made willingly so that no other royal child would have to.  Along with being the perfect prince himself, Topher took his responsibility as Ben’s right hand incredibly seriously.  Whether that be coaching him in all of the skills that a prince should have, or tutoring him on matters of policy and protocol, or helping him draft his first official decree as king.  Whatever it may take, Topher would do anything to protect and support Ben, to help him be the best king he could be without having to sacrifice his childhood.  When Ben brings five children from the Isle to Auradon, Topher volunteers himself to help them adapt to their new home.  But his determination to see Ben’s plan succeed is put to the test when he meets Evander Grimhilde, the unfairly attractive son of the Evil Queen.

Bobby looked like he wanted to jump off of a cliff and I really couldn't blame him because I wanted the Earth swallow me whole in that moment.
