It was a stupid error - literally a case of not looking where you were going. Sure, you were on a completely uncharted planet and it was exciting! But unfortunately, that didn't mean it took pity on you when you accidentally stepped on a plant which had a defense mechanism of excreting a something similar to very mild pepper spray.

You're pretty sure you're just dazed with puffy eyes. Still, here you are, swaying gently in your Head Engineer's arms. As soon as you'd shown any sign of discomfort, he'd insisted on carrying you bridal style back to the Invinsible II. Of course, you'd protested at first, but now you find yourself with a mild blush that has nothing to do with your other symptoms, burying your face a little in his shoulder.

The slight smirk in Mark's voice has you looking up, a squint in your eyes as he seems amused with himself.

Twins - Ep 7

I tried to write some sensible commentary on this episode, but no sensible words come to mind 🤡

I love this series, I love how chaotic it is, how for 6 episodes nothing happens in terms of romance, but there are random, sudden scenes of the second couple making out hotly - a couple which is barely shown and if you don't watch carefully, you can even miss them. And how the main couple catches up with all the previous episodes in terms of their romance in one episode 😀😂👌

MY EVERLASITNG LOVE IS SPRITE, MY BELOVED PRECIOUS BOY, THE BEST HIMBO BOY THAT HAS EVER HIMBED. Sprite has no filter, he is very dumb, but at the same time he has the surprising wisdom of the ancient gods. He doesn't see how he's being treated badly (DON'T WORRY BABY, I SEE IT, I'M NOTING IT IN DETAIL, AND I'M HOLDING MY GRUDGES FOREVER), but he always sees when others need his help. Sprite's game is at a level impossible for mere mortals to achieve. He has First where he wants, he does with him what he wants, how he wants, when he wants. First didn't even notice how his entire existence is now in Sprite's hand (the other hand, not the one holding the garbage bag). First's mood depends on Sprite, what he will do, what he will tell him, how he will behave. First, the "perfect grumpy dude", in the presence of Sprite turns into a pathetic, sad, sulking jealous babygirl, who is 🥺 because Sprite gives him ONLY 96.78% of his attention and who is 🥰 because Sprite says that he is his special, most important boy…. I AM IN AWE, that's my son! And the funniest thing is that Sprite doesn't do it consciously, he is SINCERELY devastated that he is not on the same team as First, he honestly runs after him with the most ���🥰🥳🤡😇🤩😋😊 face in the world, he sincerely wants to be with him and take care of him. Putting aside everything that happens in The Sign, the shoe-tying scene is my third favorite, hottest scene of the year. And that is the perfection that is Twins. They have no shame or objections at all to just... randomly throw a scene that makes me wonder why I'm still alive and writing these words and not my own epitaph.

And that's not even all! There's also the adorable necklace scene with Salmon, Evil!Buddhist Monk sowing disturbance with his whispered evil words :) random scenes with the other characters and their own messy lives, how social media and shipping culture destroy friendships and real people, Sam heartbroken pumping volleyball balls while the camera shows him from behind 😭😂…

The only thing I didn't like, but I just NEVER like it, was the romanticization of bruises. No honey, bruises are NOT signs of love, can we stop this already?

But! Back to being stupid and high. I can't help but praise the 'realization of their feelings and the kiss' scene, which was the most random, ridiculous, TRASHY lol and funniest scene in the world, which I spent half of wheezing on the floor, but which I absolutely fucking LOVE.

The amount of love I feel for Sprite and his pure energy is immeasurable. Both me and First have NO chance, he's just too powerful. And the moment when Sprite knelt in front of First, slowly and never breaking eye contact, was defining and life-changing for both of us 💖

🍰 Hi there, I’m Lillie! I’ve been living in Kilima for a while now. Haven’t found a Shepp yet but I’m taking my time to consider EVERYONE carefully.

🎂 I love mining, foraging, and bug catching. Fishing and gardening are skills I… can do, but I am not very strategic about them, haha! Hunting is only by necessity, and furniture making is not as exciting as Tish makes it seem. Maybe I should pick her as my Shepp. It might help me enjoy it more. Or maybe Nai’o, since the farm is such a lovely place to be! I can’t imagine what my life would be like if I wasn’t friends with him and Auni.

🐚 An update: I picked Tish as my Shepp since I got her to level 4 friendship first! I still have low level furniture crafting though, haha.

🐈 My palcats are named Aqua(island he/him), Luna(nocturnal she/her), Merry(sandy he/him), and Saber(snowy she/her). They’re great at chappa hunting, maybe better than me!

🥀 As for romance… What drew my author to the game of Palia was the fact that we can romance a robot (Einar is so sweet and sincere i lov himb so much) but then uhhhhh….

💜 Turns out I am NOT immune to the “somebody takes their glasses off and is hot now” cliche. I was supposed to have an enemies-to-friends arc with Jel because I’m a rambunctious and careless dirt gremlin, and yet here I am with a crush on the most annoyingly talented and softly beautiful NERD I’ve met in my entire life.

🏹 Or at least I think so. Hard to remember exactly when I can’t remember my life as a human. Just bits and pieces. I know I had a family. That’s probably why I can barely stand to talk with Hassan. He reminds me of someone. I wish I could remember who.

1. How many works do you have on AO3?

7! I don't have a lot, that's for sure, but hopefully people enjoy it.

2. What’s your total AO3 word count?

15,936 words! Which is not that much compared to some of you, but I tend towards the shorter side of things anyways.

3. What fandoms do you write for?

So far, just the Mysterious Benedict Society and lately Bungou Stray Dogs. Which is funny to me because they are so wildly different. But! I also plan on writing for the Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern eventually because it's one of my favorite books. Nay, dare I say my favorite book.

4. What are your top five fics by kudos?

I'll also just list all of my fics, because I don't have many.

The Sweat Beneath One's Eyes - This is my Reynie as a Messenger/Executive what-if fic, which while I had a lot of enthusiasm, I was still new to the writing of longer form fics.

Fish Eyes - This is my Dazai one-shot. I love himb. He is quite messed up (but honestly not darker than canon)

Food for Thought - A Number Two one shot.

Not hate per se, but I've had a slightly negative comment before. I was still kinda a mess over it, but I got over it.

No. Just not for me! Also definitely not for MBS, and I don't have the will to do it for BSD.

I've contributed to some what-ifs on tumblr! But that's kinda it.

I don't think so? I trust that it wouldn't happen for MBS, and I doubt my stuff is appealing enough to the masses that it would happen for BSD.

No, but that would be super cool if it happened!

No, but I did come up with a BTXT au on Tumblr with my friend @1001galaxygal!!!

Currently at the moment, shin soukoku. I LOVE THEM. They were enemies, they were rivals, to lovers, to everything. They would die for each other in a heartbeat. They bully each other relentlessly. I just ahiofewihofwioiomowiijedshnvgowoiwejroiweirowioefjioeewioioew. THEM.

15. What’s the WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

I'm worried I might not finish my sequel to The Brightest Eyes, but I AM working on it. It just might take me forever.

16. What are your writing strengths?

I'd guess characterization, dialogue, and inner monologue/stream of consciousness, but you tell me!

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

I can't write long fics like ughhhh I just want to write short poetic stuff, and even though I have longer ideas, I get bogged down in the planning and execution of longer fics.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

I think I could do it but probably only for a language I somewhat understand the mechanics of (not like fluent, but just a basic understanding of how it works). Otherwise I'd have to do some research.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

MBS! This was what drew me to finally get an AO3 of my own and also what I initially posted a lot of on Tumblr!! I'm really grateful for all the support from the fandom I've gotten, even though I'm relatively new and haven't done a lot.

20. Favorite fic you’ve ever written?

Probably Fish Eyes. With Maybe Food for Thought in second. But OOH I really wrote some banger lines in Fish Eyes. LIKE. Please. Ask me questions if you're interested.

Ay, I absolutely ain't got no problems talking about Ricky so thank you for the invitation 🥰!

Roller Ricky is a side character from the game Killer Frequency. He's a sweet and fun loving guy who runs a roller rink in the fictional small town of Gallows Creek(hence the nickname). He's very chill, down to Earth, and friendly. He also has an emotional support dog named Max who he absolutely loves (which it's sooo fucking cute how much he loves him oh my God).

Despite being certified sweet boi in my books (calls him "certified sweet boi" even tho he's literally a grown ass man in his late 30s lol), he has no problems with scaring off someone with his rifle if they threaten him or those he loves (this is literally canon, and I love that it's canon).

Annnnnnd what's a certified sweet boi without a traumatic backstory. Without spoiling the game too much, Ricky went through this fucked up prank in high school where he literally thought his friends were fucking murdered and one of them actually fucking dying (I'm not kidding you, shit's fucked up). Turns out it was a stupid hazing ritual that his football team was doing to the new players, and he didn't know that because he can't keep secrets well and would've spoiled it. Yeah that's not a good fucking excuse because he developed really bad survivor's guilt that caused him to become an alcoholic to deal with the trauma (and my poor bby I wanna wrap him up in a blanket now 😭).

Fortunately, he found a support group and got actual therapy for his trauma. Now he encourages others to push through tough times.

Yeah I love this man soooo much it's not even funny lol.

What's sad tho is Killer Frequency is kinda niche(?) I think, so there isn't too much content out there for him, despite being relatively well liked by fans. I'm pretty sure I'm the only one who has written any x reader things for him. That's so me tho, I've always fallen in love with characters that are unknown or unpopular, it's my curse. Anyways, my first ever full length fanfic I wrote, Heart Shaped Roller Rink (been thinking about making that our ship name, I think it's cute) was a Roller Ricky x reader fic. I've thought about revamping it too with it being my first fanfic; just kinda clean up the wacky formatting and fix the grammatical errors (I feel like with him being my f/o now, it's what he deserves lol). Then I literally wrote some headcanons for him the day after I posted that fic. Finally, not too long after that, I wrote another fic with him where the reader was pregnant because I feel it in my bones that he'd be such a sweet dad.

Also, like a fool I said that that was going to be the last I would write for him. God, what a funny joke because I have another idea for a fic (now if only I had the time and motivation). I didn't really plan on having him as my f/o, but after realizing I had written three things for him back to back to back, I was like "yeah, this is more than loving a character a normal amount." Soooo yeah, that's how he became my f/o. Don't get me wrong, I've always loved x reader fics and shit(still do btw), but I've never felt this strongly for a character before.

Now, I am happy to be a part of the wonderful world of self shipping with him ❤️
