What makes Sebastian a member of team mint?

Similar to Dazai, Sebastian falls into team mint, but it’s not because they’re both from Japan. I was questioned recently if it’s because they’re the only non-europeans in the mix. Sebastian has a very refreshing energy when we see him. I mean the man has a diary on the residents, so that’s quite refreshing, but also concerning.

I haven’t read much of Sebastian’s route, but it’s very obvious from the start that he’s a mint. Out of everyone in Ikemen Vampire he was one of the easiest to tell what he was. In the event story in which everyone is freaking out because a love potion got poured into the blanc there are two sides to Sebastian. The first is a calm goal driven man, while the second is someone who is ready to see the exciting events unravel. Team mint are goal oriented, which makes them perfect for situations like these. At the same time Sebastian doesn’t hesitate to observe the residents when they’re intoxicated by the love potion. That was a very refreshing action for its unexpected outcome.

Dabbing a bit more into the butler role we understand that’s someone everyone relies on. Everything is done on time and Sebastian prepares everything with ease as it’s his ultimate enjoyment. Which brings us to another topic of team mint, if they’re a butler type it’s done out of choice and enjoyment. If you let them be team mint grow to be excellent butlers who genuinely want to serve their beloved.

Once in love I often feel that he teases the MC much more than expected, but that goes to show how much he belongs in team mint. Everyone who belongs to team mint will tease their lover because they can and will. Sometimes it can be a little hard to tell they’re teasing as they’re very serious about it. However, that brings us into another aspect of Sebastian, his own enjoyment. Unlike the other teams, team mint has a drive about their passion and follows it to the end. For Sebastian I would say it’s his love for history. In fact, we even see it rub off onto the MC in his route as well. I mean Sebastian became a butler to vampires for his love of history, so that’s some dedication.

If you’re a fan of Sebastian, I highly recommend you check out Faust from the same game Ikemen Vampire. While Faust isn’t very similar to Sebastian, I find that if you read them back-to-back, you’ll feel very refreshed.
