From birth till death we have temptations, even JESUS was tempted and tested in the wilderness when he started his work for God. Reference Matthew 4:1-11 IF YOU ARE THE SON OF GOD " HE(devil) SAID, THROW YOURSELF DOWN.

Even in the end while he was hanging on the cross he was tempted to come down from the cross but JESUS FIXED his VISION that GOD the FATHER had for him and won the battle. Reference Matthew 27: 40 COME DOWN FROM THE CROSS, IF YOU ARE THE SON OF GOD! Hebrew 2:18 says FOR BECAUSE HE HIMSELF HAS SUFFERED WHEN TEMPTED, HE IS ABLE TO HELP THOSE WHO ARE BEING TEMPTED.

Jesus is risen! 🌄✝️ I was thinking last night about what would be different if Jesus hadn’t come back from the dead. Here’s a quick list, in no particular order - - the disciples would have gone back to being fishermen - Christianity would have died out and been pointless - we would have no hope of Heaven - our calendar would be different - this wouldn’t be 2020 - Jesus would have faded away, know as just a nice but crazy guy who died too young - I would have no hope ⠀⠀ Jesus told his followers that He’d die and come back from the dead three days later. They didn’t take Him seriously and were shocked and torn when He died, going into hiding. When He came back, it changed everything. The disciples were stoked and soon started preaching boldly instead of hiding like before. When Jesus came back He proved that He was powerful enough to defeat death. If He wasn’t, there’d be no reason to think we could live after death as well, and therefore no hope for a heaven. He has brought hope for today, not just for after this life. He says he came for us to live life and live it abundantly. This world is broken, it’s not the perfect world God originally created it to be - there’s sin and death now, thanks to the devil and our bad decisions. But God is stronger than sin *and* death. And He wants to help you. He wants to be your savior, your Hero. Let Him. Believe that Jesus is the actual Son of God, the only God, and that Jesus died for your sins. That belief is all that is needed to become God’s child. He’ll adopt you and guide you in this life and you will join Him in Heaven after this life. That’s the best short way I can think to describe it. Think about it.
