Star Wars: Cody. I started filtering him out because they made him whatever woobified Obi-Wan the most or made them the bestest #battle couple. Also I’m still bitter over a particular flavor of Codywan fans claiming their ship is less problematic than obikin.

ON FIRE GARBAGE CAN. WHO UNFORTUNATELY FULLY BELIEVES HE'S DOING THE RIGHT THING AND IS HELLA TRAUMATIZED BUT JESUS FUCK BRO STOP PROJECTING ONTO A 15 YEAR OLD.

I like Miguel for his complexity. I think he's interesting. But he made Miles feel bad and terrified and attacked him, and he's warping the idea of what it means to be Spiderman to the point that it goes against everything Spiderman stands for. So he's on thin fucking ice. He can redeem himself I hope, I know he has a lot of grief and trauma rn and he genuinely believes he's doing the right thing so hopefully when he gets proven wrong about canon he'll change his attitude. But he better fucking apologize and then work his ass off for any forgiveness.

Also half of the fanart I've seen for him all have different interpretations of what he looks like and it makes me laugh.

Fireplace, doll, lace

Fireplace: My favorite age has definitely been this one.  The older I get, the better I feel about myself, the realer I am about myself, the more fun I’ve had.  High school was miserable, collage was somehow worse, law school was exhausting, my 20s were unreasonable expectation city but my 30s were pretty chill, and looking at 40... well, for a human who thought they’d never make it to 20, turning 40 is pretty amazing.

Doll: The social skills of Jillian Holtzmann, the impulse control of Fjord Stone, the creative impulses of Agatha Heterodyne, the common sense of Jonathan Sims, the patience of October Daye, the nesting instincts of Bilbo Baggins, and the sheer dumb fucking luck of Wesley from a Princess Bride.

Lace:

Hunk - Voltron. The dude is the image of anxiety disorder and despite all that he saves the universe, fixes anything in front of him, and unites the world with food. Also #so relatable. 

White Josh - Crazy Ex Girl Friend, don’t get me wrong, they def gave WiJo a great arc, but man only in season 4 we get to hear his solo. For SHAME!

2.  If someone were to catch Hanahaki disease for you, what flowers would they cough up?

hmmm let’s see…..

I think sunflowers would be really tragic in the way that my unrequited love would be the sun the flowers would turn to, but sunflowers die when they can’t face the sun for some reason. So since it’s unrequited…..

I’m also cool with hydrangeas or anemones. Hydrangeas symbolize gratitude for being understood and that’s one of my big love languages is being able to speak my truth safely in front of them. And then I’m a sea witch, so the anemones are just because I think it would be symbolic and dramatic to have an ocean flower turn on me like that lmao.

5.  What would you be a god/goddess of and what would people sacrifice to you? YO okay weird I’ve actually been thinking about this because I’ve been binging The Magicians but I think I’d be a Goddess of Injustice and Righteous Anger. I wanna give power to the forgotten in society and cast fear and smite oppressors, specifically those who purposefully profit off of others misery. For any reason, not just capitalists.

BUT ALSO I love the idea of being a Goddess of Darkness that encourages my followers to embrace the shadows in them and build a home in the abyss they’ve been cast in. Darkness isn’t ugly, it’s power. It’s safety.

16.  Describe your ideal fantasy outfit

I WANT A DRESS!!!! lmao no one is surprised. I’m gonna think in witch terms here and go with my craft. So I’m thinking something short and strapless but elegant, champagne color but with glitter toward the bottom. Somehow it’s got seashells, roses, lace, and pearls involved with it. And then it’s topped with a dainty tiara with opalescent gems and stars that hang down around my head. My trach ties are a thick diamond choker instead. Or maybe that should be the pearls. Anyway, I also want to be adorned in body glitter and long-ass pink see-through nails, with one of those bracelets that wrap around your finger? And my shoes are red strappy heels. 

In contrast, my wheelchair either looks like something from Mad Max or an eldritch horror. Either way, some monstrous tank I’m killing bastards with.

lol idk but i asked debi and she said, “early sunny day but like really early when the sun is just getting up… bright and hopeful”

i’m gonna specify and say that, but sometime in early spring! the wind is warm but sometimes it’s got a lil bite to it

i’ve literally been thinking about this since you asked. it’s so hard. i have a lot. i don’t know if i have a favorite, but here are some that have stayed with me, for various reasons: 

the hollow men by ts eliot; oranges by gary soto ; the starry night by anne sexton; ariadne plays the physician by analicia sotelo ; section 5 of clearances by seamus heaney; sonnet 71 by shakespeare (which i can recite by heart lol).  i have more. these change often. 

42: what do you think happens to us when we die?

i really love the idea of reincarnation but i don’t particularly believe in it. i read a short story called the egg by andy weir when i was 12 that i have thought about every day since then– i don’t really believe in that, either, but i’m fascinated by it.

Zoe Murphy?

1: sexuality headcanon: ahh I go back and forth with Zoe a little. I tend to land on either heterosexual or bisexual, but demiromantic.

2: otp: Zoe x happiness and healing (but also if AUs are allowed, she and Evan have potential to be cute outside of canon)

3: brotp: healthy 👏 Murphy 👏 sibling👏 interaction👏

4: notp: probably a very unpopular opinion, but Galaxy Gals. Alana’s only interactions with Zoe are indirect, and always end up hurting her, so I just can’t see them being romantically compatible

5: first headcanon that pops into my head: if she were ever to have kids, she would be a very overprotective mom.

6: one way in which I relate to this character: since my brother got his autism diagnosis at a very young age, I had to get really used to him being the top priority. Most of my life growing up had to be built around his needs, and I ended up feeling like I had to be perfect to offset his struggles (even though I didn’t have to.)

7: thing that gives me second hand embarrassment about this character: The makeout scene. You Will Be Found is this powerful, moving moment that leaves the audience in tears, and then suddenly Zoe and Evan are inhaling each other’s faces, and that mood whiplash, especially as the Act 1 closer, always makes me cringe.

8: cinnamon roll or problematic fave?: Somewhere in the middle, honestly. Just like the rest of the cast, she’s definitely morally gray, but more than any of the other teenagers, she leans heavily towards cinnamon roll

Marry: Jack. He has a steady job as a cartoonist, smiles a lot, is great with kids, and I can easily identify his dumb ideas as dumb ideas and decide whether or not I want to hop on board with them.

Sleep with: Davey. I’ve said it before and I’m saying it again, Ben Fankhauser looks like he’d compliment my mother on her kugel, tell us all about his engineering degree, and then go down on me for three hours without my asking. This goes double, maybe triple, for Davey The one drawback to sleeping with him would be height, but we can work around that. I wouldn’t marry Davey though, because he has a tendency to make really bad ideas sound like good ones. Not ideal in a husband.

Cuddle: Crutchie, partially because he’s ripped as hell and I want those strong arms around me when we cuddle, but also because he just Feels like he’d be really good at cuddling. There’s something about his optimism that speaks to me for a cuddlefriend.

1, What fandom(s) are you reading these days?

The Magicians! It took a bit, because I’m still very unsettled by the season 4 finale, but I wanted to see what was out there and I have been pleased with the results!

2, What fandom(s) have you given up?

Supernatural, it’s been a long time since I’ve even watched or engaged with the fandom. 

8, Describe your perfect story. What fic would you love to read that you don’t think exists yet?

Good question... it really depends on the fandom I’m in, interests shift in storytelling. I’m sure it exists but I appreciate fics that discuss issues of today, be that from the character’s identity or just in the worldbuilding, I think it’s something that fic writers really have free reign of, compared to their source material, and they can still make it fun!

10, What makes you nope out of a fic?

I’m shallow but... Lol, first person. Can’t stand it.
