Oooh, it seems we got some news on Cure Wing and Cure Butterfly just now! Just to give a quick gist of it:

Cure Wing is a 12-year-old boy (yes, boy, Cure Infini has a boy cure pal now!!) and voiced by Ayumu Murase.

While Cure Butterfly is an adult 18-year-old woman, voiced by Ayaka Nanase.

I read this from Oricon article but I believe it got revealed in a press release.

wowowooooooww breaking the flow of time and space again I see?

helloooo long time no post I see, here am I to feed the fans with CONTENT, this time an Album Cover redraw of Cure Sky,

this is a redraw of the Album: Soaring of Puzzle, i fcking love Puzzle man, you guys haven't seen it yet but I'm a huge huge HUUUUGE fan of the band The Garden, so of course I'm a huge fan of each of the members solo career as well, I don't remember if I've listened to the whole album of Soaring yet but what I do know is that I LOOOOOOVE love looove the song "Soaring" from that album,

it's such an upbeat yet melancholy tune and the lyrics match as well, talking about soaring through past pains, I mostly interpret it to be about exes but it can be about soaring past anything, any problem in your way,

but it also talks about keeping the things the person referred in the song thought him, "she gave me something to have forever", and I think that is very beautiful, to be able to keep that happiness still even though that person isn't part of your life anymore, keeping the little things they thought you, it's beautiful yet saddening but what can we do? unlearning things is hard, why not carry those things learned with us regardless?

now as for the drawing, as you could guess by the clean lines I made this on my phone with my fingers in IbisPaintX, the idea was to try and copy the HirogaruSky's artstyle the most but uhhm.... I've always HATED doing the lineart, so much so that for a good year I just scanned my sketches from paper directly into IbisPaint with a filter and cleaned it just to skip past doing the lineart,

so uhmmm... it didn't really pan out, but it sure was quite fun seeing what composes the Hirogaru artstyle, and after dissecting it I now see it really isn't thaaaaat hard to copy but oh welllll

an explanation for the colors is that while searching for a good render of Cure Sky I've come across just how different the colors look from one official art to another, and I took that to my advantage, and did a "canon muted version" and a "headcanon colorful version" its fun to see how they differentiate, and it combines well with the upbeat yet mellow approach of the Album

did i mention yet that I drew all this initially to use it as a thumbnail for a damn AMV? no? well... yeah I was thinking of doing a HirogaruSky tribute with this song since the anime ended and yknow.. if you translate HirogaruSky's name it CAN be translated as "SoaringSky Precure".. soooo.....🥺

This is a quick post but:

This whole sequences feels like it hides a story of how Sora became to WANT to become a hero! First she's reading the notebook (I bet it's the one the villain broke in first ep and it then transforms into this season item), seems to remember her baby self reaching for who I BELIEVE is her mother, the resemblance between mystery figure and Cure Sky form is... wow. So alike. Look at the cape, the shoulder thing is VERY similar. And the hairstyle has similarities too. I bet this mystery figure is why Sora became so obsessed into becoming a hero (and honestly convincing me already afkjgskjfh). But anyway. The sequence following the memory is her doing a self fist bump and then grabbing her pen and shows her new power. Like, she's closer to reaching her own hero.

Y'know what, today's HiroPre ep was actually quite cool. I still find Skearhead a veeeery boring villain but, they managed to do a great finale fight here. Not sure such has been done before.

Apparently a supposed fake HiroPre sequel logo is circling around socials and I found out about this on reddit. Let me just say: it looks very fake.

First of all: The title makes no fricking sense. "HirogaruSky! Precure KingKing". The fuck would that mean? it makes no sense. Past sequel names have made sense in some form, like Futari Wa Precure Max Heart, and Yes! Precure 5 GoGo. KingKing to be added at the end (and in the logo at the start???) makes no fricking sense what so ever. Seems like someone decided to make broken english fit to the logo and hope it fools people lol.

Second of all: Why would the KingKing part go on top of the original logo? As in, it's cutting off part of the original design. That's not good design! It looks really bad. If it were real, the King King should either be at the side, or on the bottom. Not the top.

Third of all: I can see the original logo has been cut edited akwardly. There's weird spots in the logo that look like they may have been part of some other picture.

And lastly: the red and whatever color lines in the rainbow are clearly akwardly edited in. They're thinner, don't fit in with rest of the logo, and just looks bad.

I cannot comment on the text but something tells me it may be gibberish lol. Or text for something old by now. Anyone who's able to read it might be able to tell more.

But yeh. Don't get fooled by fake logos. It's very doubtful Toei would do a sequel to HiroPre. They haven't for years, and OtonaPre is different style of sequel anime entirely (as will upcoming MahoPre sequel, I'm sure).

So, third ep of HiroPre straight away confirmed that Mashiro's grandma, who I now will remember to call Yoyo, IS Skylandian. And she straightup revealed everything there is to know about her, haha. I love this grandma :D

Which also makes Mashiro part Skylandian, that's, haha. I don't really have an opinion but this does fit into the current narrative of "fate". today's ep kinda felt like it was more about building up the lore of Skyland and all, not much happened alongside that. But it worked.

And I do veeeery much like that they keep focusing on Sora's fear shivers. That is such a good detail. And now that she's the one in trouble next week, I wonder how she'll be able to handle it. And Cure Prism debut next week and BUTTERFLY'S CIVILIAN FORM ARRIVES AAAAAAAH SHE IS BEAUTIFUUUUUUUUUUUL!!!

(dialogue not related to her at all). I'm actually suspecting she's gonna learn about precures this ep as well, considering she's holding Ellee and seems to be running with Mashiro? (I've actually learned some more details on her but that's not revealed in preview itself so I'm not saying anything yet here! But MY am I hyped to see her debut!!!)

So she's a read-head with pink eyes... fits her quite well honestly!

Anyway, next week is hype hype hyyyyype! I wonder when the orange bird (who's name I also know because of merch but it's not revealed yet so, not saying anything) will start getting a bigger role. I did notice Yoyo having a bird room sooooooooooooooo.

Oooh we have offiicial romanji for Sora and Mashiro.

They're using Nizigaoka for Mashiro's surname and Harewata-ru for Sora's surname.

Also the baby princess is Princess Ellee? And they seem to be in the opinion of it being HirogaruSky! Precure. No space between Hirogaru and Sky words. How odd, haha.

It's official merch, but sadly I cannot find official source for how these were announced.

So, we got a preview for HirogaruSky! Precure's opening song yesterday around the time DeliPaPre finished airing, and OH MY GOD do I love it! It has that reaaaaally nice hero and, excuse me, sky high feel to it.

Oh I cannot wait to hear full TV version and full song. AND the opening animation!! Aaaah, exciting times ahead!

WHY IS MASHIRO'S GRANNY SO SUS SUS SUS safjsfjghsfg she absolutely from Skyland, she knows Princess Ellee, she knows about Precure, her dried frog is super odd, what is going oooooooooooooonnnn.

Also my theory about Sora's reason to want to become a hero was like, 50/50 correct. Correct as in the reasoning was correct, wrong as in, the book is new, and we didn't get a confirm on whether the hero she refers to IS her mother or not :D Could be she doesn't know. Could be she isn't. We'll learn in time for sure!

Also also back to Mashiro's grandma, I only now noticed she has rat tail hairstyle, similar to Cure Wing, IF CURE WING IS A BIRD THEN IS GRANNY A BIRD TOO-

On Mashiro, I actually quite like her. Her dynamic with Sora is very sweet, Sora seems very used to certain knight-type of living and her pledging to be Mashiro's knight was sjhgshfgshfsgfjshf. SORA-

Sora is great. Strong contender for fav protag. We'll see how she evolves, but I love how she's still shown to be scared despite wanting to do hero stuff. She's so relatable. Love her.

So, Hirogaru Sky! Precure got announced by Toei.

The logo is absolutely stunning, and the name has me thinking of flying and angels and whatnot. Maybe the theme could be relating to freedom? As flying tends to be tied to freedom theme? Or maybe something else, dunno :D

But I am definitely interested in learning more about this new season! Also, gotta get ready to say goodbye to DeliPaPre :')
