A/n : I think it’s a serious problem that I have parental HCs for nearly every Hellaverse character. I need to be stopped. (Or don’t, I don’t care)

Honestly, depending on your age, the “stricter” father definitely flip-flops here and there

For instance, when you are a young child, Angel is the “stricter” father, even if you don’t have the concept to understand what that entirely means, he’s the one who baby-proofs every thing while Husk kinda lets you run wild

But as you grow and get into your teen years, Angel becomes a lot more laid back, while Husk tends to be more picky about what he allows you to do

Mainly because Husk never imagined himself as a father, so in the beginning, he is sorta unsure, so for him, anything goes, but as you start to age he gets a grip and with that, comes strictness

When you are a younger child, Angel is 100% dressing you until you decide to do that on your own (part of him hopes you’ll let him dress you forever). He’s very protective of you when you’re a toddler/younger child, Hell isn’t always a safe place, everything even slightly unsafe or tempting is gated or baby-proofed

As you age, like I said, Ange is much more lenient. He’s ready to watch you rock the world! Wanna go out to a party? For sure! Be home by 2, go nuts! Have a crush? Great! Your old man will help ya out! Wanna get drunk as fuck? Fine, just do it in the house!

Honestly, Husk is a bit of a confusing father, to say the least. He’s lowkey freaked out by the idea of toddlers and younger children, so when you’re in your first few years he lets Angel take the lead, he kinda watched and observes his behaviors.

Which leads Husk to being more cautious of a parent as an adult (Learned from his hubby, that’s for sure). Even though him and Angel are far from over, he’s still very cautious about the idea of love, so he’s very sketchy about your relationships with boys (or girls! He doesn’t judge!)

When events like your first day of school, first boyfriend/girlfriend/partner, first heartbreak, homecoming, prom, etc - You may think Angel is the one to get emotional, but it’s actually Husk - Angel is just as excited as you are, getting you dolled up and whipping out his camera to take pictures, but deep down, Husk is honestly sad that his baby girl is growing up - Especially cause he was too tense in the beginning to really enjoy your younger years

Seriously though, Husk is happy you’re a bit older, he feels like he’s able to have more of a connection with you. He likes it when you come to the bar and just sit there and talk, even if you’re only drinking a juice box.

Husk still doesn’t know how to talk with a teenager all that well, but he’ll ask you how school is, and how you’re friends are, he wants to show that he takes a genuine interest in the other aspects of your life.

Angel on the other hand is very eager to walk with you through your teenage years, he’s the dad that all of your friends think is cool as fuck, but you think he’s crazy embarrassing. He’s the kind of dad to also be friends with your friends. He’ll come in your room during sleepovers and do your friends makeup, skincare, nails, ect

Despite the fact that Angel does pretty much let you run wild once you get older, he’s very strict on safety, in every aspect. - He doesn’t want you to get fucked over like he did, and he doesn’t want that to destroy you, he really does try his best to guide you on a different path, any path that isn’t the one he fell down

Husk likes his coffee black (or with whiskey depending on the day) and Angel likes it with lots of cream and suger

Angel's chest fluff is kinda like Mary Poppins bag, Husk once found a bag of coke well cuddling

Husk knocks Angel's cups of makeup brushs off this vanity (cuz cat) and but feels bad because he has no idea what goes where

Angel has bought them so many matching shirts with dirty jokes on them (Husk only wears them to make him happy)

Husk runs baths for Angel after a bad day, if Angel wants him to stay he helps with whatever he needs (he turns away when Angel takes the boots off)

They both love old romance moives, but they both pretend there stupid

Whenever there around eachother when getting dressed they tie eachother's bowties

Husk send one long text and Angel send 12 short ones

Angel was down for sex on the first day, but taking off his boots or socks that took more time being a big boundary of his (Husk never pushed his boundaries)

Kissed infront of Charlie once on accident, she almost exploded from happiness (She may have made there ship name)

When Val and Alastor are being well overlords, Husk and Angel try to help eachother the best two broken losers can. But most of the time they just end up laying next to eachother, just being together

Huskerdust Intimacy Headcanons Part 1 (contains nsfw)

* Above all else, Husk values consent. If the boys are drunk, it’s a no-go on sex. Later in their relationship, he’s fine if it’s only him that’s tipsy, but he’ll never go further than kissing when Angel’s not all there.

* Husk is careful about his movements near Angel. One time he lifted a paw to gesture or grab something, and Angel flinched. It broke his heart, so now his movements are very intentional.

* Husk doesn’t have many personal possessions, but he is a dice gremlin. When Angel finally sees his collection, he sets out to find another impressive set he can gift Husk.

* During their first time, Husk refuses to let Angel service him, focusing entirely on Angel’s care and pleasure. Angel is shocked to discover that softer “vanilla” sex is extremely hot when there’s feelings involved. Husk either lets Angel stay on top or makes sure he’s not pinning him down, giving Angel control over everything.

* Angel helps Husk get back into self care with hair and skin products. When they’re not hanging out at the bar, they’re lounging in Angel’s room having spa nights. Husk also discovers a love for candlelit baths (especially if Angel joins him).

* Husk comes to approximate when Angel will be home after every shift and always has a drink and an open seat waiting at the bar. If Angel’s ever later than expected, he just gives the old drink to Niffty.

* Husk makes it a point to befriend Cherri. She’s important to Angel, so she matters to him too. He ends up learning a lot about Angel through her, and in turn, he lets her open up about herself.

* When Angel leaves Fat Nuggets in Husk’s care, he gets stupid protective over that pig and potentially spoils him more than Angel.

* Husk actually enjoys when Angel carries him, often forgetting just how physically strong Angel actually is from all his pole work.

* Husk actually has major rizz, but he’s often oblivious to when he’s turned the charm up to 11. He eventually catches on if Angel gay panics hard enough.

* Once they’re an established couple, Angel and Husk coordinate their daily outfits so they’re always matching like cute old people.

* Angel likes to kiss the heart patterns on Husk’s ears, forehead, and hands, and Husk melts every time.

* Angel convinces Husk to bring out his overlord/demon form in the bedroom when they’re feeling extra spicy. Everyone else can tell when this happens because Angel has trouble walking the next day.

* Angel starts practicing with aerial silks because he wants to have an elegant/non-sexual talent to show off for Husk.

Angel seeing Charlie help Vaggie with preening her wings and seeing how calm and intimate it is.

Angel learning from Vaggie that wing preening is a custom among angels and the like and is reserved only for their nearest and dearest.

Angel very gently testing the waters, running his hand over Husk's shorter feathers at the top of his wings when they're both in bed getting ready to sleep.

I know the fandom has pretty much accepted that Husk purrs, but whatever sound he makes right then is not a sound Angel has heard him make before. It rumbles like a purr, but it seems deeper. Grittier. Something that catches on the sharp edges of his insides.

My Huskerdust Headcanons!

I'm on shipping brainrot so you guys are getting some Huskerdust Headcanons

Ever since the day Husk arrived at the hotel Angel had been very flirtatious with Husk, he likes to call him things like "Husky" or "handsome". Husk acts like he hates it or just ignored it but quickly grew to like it, and deiced to flirt back with Angel. And it worked it turned him into a flustered mess for the rest of the day.

Husk sometimes helps Angel get ready for his shows, and sometimes he accompanies Angel to his shows. if he hears someone say one bad thing about angel there he will not hesitate to beat the living shit out of them drunk or sober.

Angel quickly knew that he had a crush on Husk on the day he arrived at the hotel, and he would spend hours at the bar just to be with Husk through out the day, Husk discovered his feelings for Angel when he came back to the hotel beaten by Val for being late for a show. Seeing Angel like that made Husk realize how strong his feelings are for Angel.

Whenever Angel comes back from a bad show Husk will drop literally anything he's doing, to help console and/or bandage Angel.

Sometimes when Husk's fur gets knotted Angel will brush out his fur husk finds it relaxing but doesn't want Angel to know but he quietly purr's whenever Angel brushes him

Husk isn't a very affectionate person that is clear but when Angel is upset he does try to comfort him even though he's not the best at it he does try to make an effort when consoling Angel

Some HuskerDust headcanons

In honor of Angel Dust’s birthday yesterday <3

Husk is 100% a second parent to Fat Nuggets. Reluctantly at first, but now embodies “I’ve only had him for a day and a half, but if anything happens to him I will k!ll everyone in the room and then myself”

Following the events of episode 4, Husk always waits for Angel to return from work—even if it means staying up all night—to make sure he’s okay

Angel fell first but he also fell harder

Husk is secretly very charismatic and good at sweet romantic gestures, and Angel is constantly flustered by him

Niffty overheard Husk and Alastor’s conflict in episode 5, and when she told Angel about it, he completely lost his shit at Alastor and refused to talk to him for a week. Husk reassured Angel that it was all talk, but Angel still worries whenever Alastor and Husk are alone together.

Angel tries to live by “It’s cold outside but I’m still looking like a thotty because a hoe never gets cold” but actually gets cold a lot and Husk is always prepared with extra scarves and stuff

In line with the previous headcanon, because he’s running around smoking/drinking/doing who even knows what, Angel tends to get sick pretty frequently, and responds one of two ways: with a dramatic reenactment of what he imagines a sickly victorian child is like, or he just denies it up until intervention is necessary (honestly just depends on the mood he’s in). Either way, Husk always begrudgingly agrees to take care of him and somehow never gets sick.

Both Angel and Husk love to cook for each other and get comically frustrated with each other whenever either of them is the culinary equivalent of a “backseat driver”

Despite being a spider demon, Angel is absolutely terrified of real spiders, and insists that Husk kill any and all bugs they come across (if Niffty isn’t around to do it)

Husk is extremely competitive when it comes to card/board games, even if there are no stakes involved, and will hold grudges if he loses at poker, yet somehow can’t stay mad at Angel for more than a few hours

They are the type to bicker about who has more of the blanket when sharing a spot on the couch

When watching movies, Husk is an absolute stone, while Angel will break down in tears anytime there’s a dog on screen

Husk always has a can of raid on him in case he encounters Valentino in public

Angel gushes about Husk to Fat Nuggets (Cherri got tired of hearing about it)

i always see the headcanon that husk has a routine of preparing baths for angel whenever he gets back from a hard day at the studio, but i’d like to think angel evens out the favor by giving husk back massages.

let’s not forget that man died somewhere in his 70’s. you can’t tell me that senile cat WOULDN’T have constant back pain, especially with that geriatric posture he’s got going on. not to mention, angel’s extra pair of arms… i’d pay for a nice rub from him.

Headcannon that half the reason Angel likes/wants Husk so much is because Husk doesn’t want him back.

And not because he’s trying to boost his ego by bagging the one person who doesn’t want him- it’s a defense mechanism. Those who want him always hurt him. He’s safer in the arms of someone who doesn’t give two shits.

And of course he still wants Husk. He just doesn’t know how to handle things when suddenly, Husk actually wants him back.

It terrifies him. That Husk would want him, that he would desire him, just as everyone else did. And so Angel pushes him away.

It takes a while, for Angel to come to learn that it’s not a bad thing to be wanted. And it takes a while for Husk to prove it too.

Because the way that Husk wants him is not the way that everyone else has wanted Angel. Husk doesn’t care about his looks, his talents.

Husk loves the man underneath Angel’s mask. He loves the broken, shattered version of himself, not the facade he wears to cover up the mess.

Husk wants Angel, not for who he has become, but for who he is in despite of it all. And when Angel eventually sees this, he finds that he is ok with being wanted.

Because Husk’s version of wanting is love, not lust. Husk’s version of wanting is gentle, it’s protective. It’s not suffocating, not oppressive.

Husk’s wanting is not underscored with selfish intentions. Husk’s wanting is real.

HuskerDust Headcanons: Going Out Edition

• They can never agree on where to go for a night out

• Angel wants to go clubbing but Husk refuses to dance and will just sit at the bar and drink, plus he hates the music and strobes and the creeps trying to get in with Angel

• Husk wants to go to a casino but Angel is a sore loser with a terrible poker face, a temper and 6 machine guns, so I imagine they learned from experience that this wasn't the best option for a night on the town

• Angel loves dancing, and while he's quite an expert on the pole, his love for dance and performing stems from seeing showgirls and cabaret when he was alive and the awe he felt when seeing such glamour and unapologetic confidence

• Angel keeps up to date with modern dance trends and music, but retains a love for the dances of his era - some of his fonder memories of being alive were the nights he would go dancing

• Husk doesn't usually like to dance, but will dance with Angel in private (or in public if he's drunk enough) and secretly enjoys the romantic element of it

• Husk tries to teach Angel his poker skills, but Angel cannot bluff to save himself and Husk sees right through him every time

• Angel's biggest tell is that he will flirt when he has a shitty hand, and of course Husk is the first to notice this and calls him out

• Once Husk let Angel win a game of poker out of pity and Angel got SO infuriatingly smug that Husk vowed never to let him win ever again (he didn't tell Angel he let him win, though - let the poor sod have something)

• When Husk gets drunk enough, he shows Angel card magic. Angel is the ideal audience for these because he is always totally suckered by it, and it's refreshing to see someone totally dazzled in disbelief at Husk's tricks, and the attention is pretty nice

• Angel BEGS Husk to tell him how they work, but, obviously, a magician never reveals his secrets... Angel likes to try and guess and is determined to figure it out (he never does)

• Husk totally does the "is this your card?" *pulls card out from behind Angel's ear (well not ear cuz he doesn't have them so ?? head fluff ig??)* thing

• Wherever they end up going on a night out, the end of the night is the same: they wind up back to the hotel, shooting the shit at the bar, knocking back a couple more drinks courtesy of Husk and just enjoying eachother's company. Husk will probably set up a card game for Angel to get his ass handed to him, Angel will charm Husk into putting on some swing and dancing with him, Husk will bamboozle Angel with some shockingly simple card tricks until they're both ready to pass out

• Both of them secretly think that this is the best part of the night

Husk taught Angel how to play black-jack one rainy day in bed

Whenever Angel's having a panic attack about Val or other shitty things that happened, if Angel signals its okay for Husk to touch him he lays his head on Angel's lap and sitting and purrs, Husk knows he starts to calm down when he feels little pets on his head (ofc nuggs is right next to Husk helping btw)

If Angel asks Husk to paint his nails he'll put all his focus into getting them perfect

On their first date Husk didn't know what to do but he surprised Angel with flowers at the door, when Angel started crying needless to say Husk thought he fucked anything up, Angel was just really happy

Angel love's tracing the hearts on Husk with his fingers

After the first time Angel and Husk are intimate, Angel cries when be wakes up in the morning and Husk is still there sleeping next to him

Angel had a hard time saying "I love you" to Husk because of Val, so one night when Husk is laying on Angel's fluff and Angel's many hands scratching his face and he hears a soft quiet "I love you Husky.." Husk had never sat up faster in his life or death (Ofc he said it right back)

Huskerdust - First time Headcanons

Hi guys!! I'm gifting you a little something, this is dedicated to everyone who likes Huskerdust; I hope you enjoy, and warning for NSFW obviously!

If you're a minor please don't interact with this! Thank you!

Angel is a sex worker, and a famous one at that, so of course he takes it for granted that his and Husk’s first time is going to go flawlessly; at the beginning of their relationship he’s actually always jokingly pushing his lover to do something together, until the latter states that he prefers taking things slowly and that just because they’re together now it doesn’t mean that everything needs to be about sex.

He’s slightly taken aback by the other’s authority, dismissing it with a dirty joke about how Husk would be dominant at first but keeping the conversation in mind later. Deep inside he doesn’t believe that Husk would want him only for his personality, and that he truly has no ulterior motives, but the cat demon already proves him wrong by carrying out acts of kindness towards him many times without asking for anything in return.

Still, when the time comes for them to be intimate, Angel is surprised to feel a little nervous; what if after this Husk’s whole attitude changes, and he wants more, and more and more, until what Angel can give him isn’t enough anymore? What if he turns out to be like Valentino – no, he shouldn’t be thinking about him now, Husk reminds him when he notices Angel zoning out before having even started; it’s only them, he holds his hand and asks him if he’s truly ready, even though Angel has hinted that he is many times in the past. Though Husk knows that that wasn’t 100% his true self, so it’s important to him to ask still.

Angel apologises and promises that he’s willing to do this, he’s been waiting for a long time now and so has Husk, the latter just needed a bit more time to get comfortable.

Of course the spider demon is knowledgeable about any sexual act, foreplay included, but he finds himself breathless at how good Husk is at this, at how softly he holds his hand as he leaves a trail of kisses along his body, starting from the side of his lips and ending right above his most private zones, all while his tail wrapped around one of his legs. He’s teasing him but at the same time loving him, gazing at him from time to time and smirking at the soft blush present on his cheeks; Angel, usually brash and loud, finds himself quietly moaning as Husk finally kisses him with a passion he thought everyone had long forgotten in Hell, all the while massaging his thigh.

Their love is slow, intense; Husk has sent him almost over the edge so many times that at this point Angel is practically begging for release, panting softly as his lover, whilst still inside of him, nibbles on his neck; he knows not to leave any actual mark though, as Valentino would be unhappy with it, but with those sharp teeth of his he makes every little bite still meaningful.

As Angel lies in his bed after the act, surrounded by their previously forgotten clothes and fuzzy blankets, he tiredly watches as Husk gets up before him and tidies up everything; he then walks to Angel’s private bathroom and the spider demon curiously listen for any noise that could indicate what he’s doing in there. Once he hears the sound of the faucet of his bathtub it suddenly hits him; Husk wants to take further care of him. He’s not leaving immediately, and he’s not prioritizing himself either, he’s choosing and wanting to show Angel kindness again by performing aftercare.

It’s a bit awkward, sitting in the bathtub together, as Angel’s taller than Husk and yet the bartender insists on letting his boyfriend sit in his lap as he gently washes his body, massages his shoulders, scratches his head with just the tip of his claws while washing his fluffy hair.

They chose this particular day to do this on purpose, as the following day is a free one for both of them; this way, they can take all the time in the world to cuddle once they’re both clean, limbs intertwined and Angel’s giggles filling the room as he listens to Husk softly purr in his chest.
