...by @sparklingarrow to do 10 gifs of my 10 fav films. Seeing as I only know 4 films as my favs off the top of my head, I am intruiged to see the results.

1. MirrorMask

A beautiful Alice in Wonderland type story, with a wonderful combination of circusy and tim burtony aesthetic. Made by the team who made Labyrinth, it has a stunning soundtrack to match the gorgeous settings. It will forever remain the greatest film in my mind. And I really want this quote as my first tattoo.

2. It's Such A Beautiful Day

A truly incredible piece of art, created by Don Hertzfeldt. A story of Bill, struggling with mental deterioration due to an undisclosed sickness. It's surreal, moving, and one of the most incredible depictions of the struggles with mental health that I have seen to date. Don't let the simple style fool you. This is absolutely the most artistic thing I have seen in my whole life.

3. World of Tomorrow

Another Don Hertzfeldt film, both World of Tomorrow 1 & 2, and the most sweet and wholesome films, tinged with sadness. Young Emily is visted by future versions of herself, and gets to explore the memories and minds of these various versions of herself. All of her lines come directly from the mouth of Hertfledtz' niece - all her natural dialog, and completely unscripted. It brings a whole new life to her character.

4. Megamind

There is no explanation needed here. If you don't love this film, you are wrong. If you have never seen it, then I don't know what you're doing with your life, but you're doing it wrong.

5. Lion King 2

I adored this film as a kid, and it still holds a very important place in my heart ♡ Ngl, I still kinda have a crush on Kovu. YES I KNOW HE'S A LION BUT HE'S LOVELY I CAN'T HELP IT oTL

6. Corpse Bride

As much as I find this hard to watch now, because Johnny Depp ruins it for me, I loved this film for so, so long. I absolutely adore Emily, and thinking about her story, even now, breaks my heart. The fact I got to perform in the first ever stage production of it, however, is what seals it’s place on this list for me. I will always cherish this film, even if I don’t love it as much as I once did.

7. Steam Powered Giraffe 10 Year Aniversary Concert

Digital concerts count as films, right?? Truly a wonderful experience, getting to see all the past band members perform in one show. Every SPG show is something memorable, and magical, and makes me cry, but this is tuly an incredible show, that is not to be missed out on,

8. Labyrinth

Ok, I’m offended at myself for nearly forgetting this film. ESPECIALLY as I mentioned it at the begining. The film that sparked my love of David Bowie. Because god DAYUM is he hella sexy in this film. *__* And that voice is to die for OOMMFFF

9. How To Train Your Dragon

asdhyibsad IM OFFENDED THAT I FORGOT THIS TOO. I FREAKING LOVE THIS SERIES. I LOVE DRAGONS. I ADORE THIS FILM. I ADORE THE BOOKS. I AM SO PREPARED TO CRY WHEN I FINALLY WATCH THE THIRD FILM.

Netflix ran out of ideas, but I remembered my last one...

10. The Emporer’s New Groove

As with Megamind, I don’t think any explanation is needed. A classic, I will always adore.
