no bc it actually like the revivebook makes me kind of crazy like all we know for the longest time is that during pogtopia vs. manberg schlatt gave dream Something that had him promise his allegiance. we literally do not know what this is until the disc finale and we ONLY know about it bc dream uses it as a trump card to make sure tommy doesn’t take his last life like he didn’t want ANYONE to know about the revivebook but bc its existence secured his survival both the characters and the audience learn about what it actually is for the first time. like the characters are as lost as us, we are as lost as the characters, dream, punz, and schlatt are the Only ones who knew from POGTOPIA TO DISC FINALE. and the only reason dream fessed up is bc he knew that tommy could never refuse the chance to revive wilbur. i dunno it just makes me a little crazy when i think about.

my blah about Cr3
Crossroads three is the stake in the demon that has been... almost 2 years without Starfury events (or any tbf)
I wanted to start a new review post for each convention but  always seem to get back and feel like i've been hit with a freight train (is it bad I've missed Connui/Con Flu???)
So this is going to be the same stream of conciousness it usually is.
I'll start by saying I wasnt there for any guests after Lisa Berry cancelled, and strangley didnt have any cosplays, but i thre together my old s2 dean and went for it on.
So I spent the weekend helping out stewarding where I could and catching up with people, you could see the bone deep relief on the faces of the Starfury regs at being back.
From where I was I could hear the talks and it al sounded really fun (and sometimes blue, as per SF) but i've not watched Supernatural religiously since aprox end of s6, so i was happy where i was.
alien to me and rather sacrilegiously I was only able to attend Friday and Saturday party, i missed the final party and so wasnt part of the Survivors photo, but the two I attended were awsome enough to keep me going to Enchanted. especially when someone randomly ('m guessing) requsted Shinedown be played.
I know in the grand scheme of things i'm no Convention vet, there are still those who've been to more cons and different cons than me, but some things just make you feel like you've made it, and one of those things for me happened on the saturday night - I helped lead a con dance I always see one for the vets - its called Joe 90 and despite the 'status' i attatch to it, i'm amazed i managed it with my DCD co-ordination issues and didn't seriously hurt anyone lol.
When I decided to go I didnt think many of those I knew or those regulars I'd know would be in attendance, but stood on that door on Friday was like a whose who of Starfury minus a few (who i hope to see at upcoming events) One pair i was suprised and delighted to come across were Kai and Harry, serving cosplay awesomness as alway.
I later found out the duo had brought 'paint stripping' mead with them (morrisons own as it turned out, the non fizzy one) and I think i over did the mock-scolding....see.. Mead is something Ally (and me to a lesser extent) is known for, just like we know we can count on Taz (and Lou, and Gareth) to help us drink it lol, so I ribbed them both and I messaged Kai a link to Ravens Forge mead hall when i had wifi, and reminded them that if me or her were around, there would always be mead offered :D.
During lockdown i'd gotten to know two members of staff better than i'd done before, thats not to say i ignored them before and takes into account the fact w had been at a few none sf cons with them in the past..Taryn and Dean who are 'local' to me (Manchester) have become sort of addicted to a city I love very much (York) and like Taz, Ally and Myself, Dean loves mead and York is.. well its the best place in the county of Yorkshire for mead, even if Hull makes one lol. Dean however has taken his love of mead further than any of us and actualy started making his own, which he brought with him to CR3, apparently they'd made too much so I got a bottle given :D it was delicious but didnt last the first night, because, (and yes i know i'm a fool) for the sake of saftey i thought it would be best to leave anything glass with someone staying at the con hotel. namely Taz and Gareth, but they enjoyed it so i'm sur Dean wouldn't mind lol and it was better for me not to have to carry glass back from Birmingham.
one of my favourite moments of the weekend has to be seeing Julian Riching (Death in SPN) lighting up when I asked him about Murdoch Mysteries and then elbow bumping me (not sur eif it was just precaution or bcause my voice on the mic sounded like i was talking through gravil and Sean, Mr Starfury himself,  had to translate for me. SEAN OF ALL PEOPLE lol
I love detective shows and Victorian things and Murdoch is both (though I guess now its Edwardian lol) , and if i'd had the werewithall to remember I could have brought out a cosplay which won me 2nd place at the masquerade the last time one of the cast came to an SF, as it was i just wnt up and asked him his memory of the show, which was pretty sharp I have to say.
It was a short one for me, like i said i didn't stay for the final night (£££) bt it was sooo worth the time I did get there. I will not go into detail but the week previous had been enough to test the patiences of someon a hell of a lot more saintly than me, I regret that there was a moment when i let the other world (the rl world) slip under my barrier and cause me to freak out a few people with unusual and what I hope others would consider out of charactar bhaviour. Awesome weekend. i feel like i've been hit with a freight train and my voice still sounds lik gravel (Connui/Conflu).

Ace Comic Con Report!
@shipperhipster and I road-tripped to Arizona for Ace Comic Con in Glendale!  (Afterwards, we made a side-trip to the Grand Canyon to make it a real vacation before heading home - more photos on that later!) BUT wanted to post about the experiences at the con! I did a separate write-up about how awesome it was to meet two of the top Art Designers of the MCU (Andy Park and Ryan Meinerding) HERE There were a lot of ups and downs about the convention itself.  The SUCKIEST was that Chris Evans got sick the 2nd day of the con, which is the day we had our tickets to meet him/get photographs.  It was going to be our first chance to actualy do a photo-shoot with both us with Chris & Seb together, and we were really looking forward to that.  On top of that, Chris was only days off of filming Avengers 4, and he was actually in a rare state of clean-shavenness (which as much as I do love beardy-Steve, he still looks the most like iconic Steve Rogers to me when he’s clean-shaven.  We had planned on capitalizing on that for some photo shoot poses :/ )   That being said, we still feel like we couldn’t be that upset about that. We’ve had the chance to meet him before and took an awesome photo with him.  We had friends there who were going to be meeting him for the first time, and there were even people who had flown in from countries all over the world to meet him that may not have gotten the chance :( That being said, all in all, even with the disappointment of not getting to see Chris Evans, we still had a great time, and the things that did go well went very well.
Tumblr media
Speaking of international visitors, right as we were heading in, an Uber pulled around and asked us if either of us spoke Japanese.  Which was absolutely coincidental since I did actually take four semesters of it in college - even though it had been a long time, I knew enough to help translate between the young woman who had flown in by herself to the convention and the Uber driver.  She was so sweet, another huge stucky fan, and we chatted as we waited in line to get into the con!  (I have a terrible memory for names, but I believe she was Kanoko!)   She was super sweet, excited to be there, and her sister had even spotted us at a different convention before and had photos of us - such a small world!  She had a great movie-accurate Bucky Backpack with her that she was going to get signed ^^
Tumblr media
The Location of the Arena was wonderful - since the stadium is designed to deal with a LOT of people, the area was beautiful with a ton of shops and restaurants in easy-walking distance that could easily handle feeding the crowds.  There was an amazing Japanese place we went to called Kabuki after the con that only had a very short wait and some delicious sushi.  There was a movie theater, Dave & Busters, bars who had decorated to cater to the comic convention crowd, and all-around a great time :) A comic convention IN an arena, however... there were definitely some growing pains.  While the photo shoots were great, and they are run by a different company, all of the autographs were up in the top level of the arena - which meant if you had a narrow time-gap between a photo and an autograph, it could be tough.  You had to sit in the very tight (especially if you were in a costume) nose-bleed seats that were angled so as vertigo could be a thing.  It also meant that when you were waiting for your turn, since they were pulling people up a row at a time, you couldn’t watch other people interact with the guests while you were waiting.
The con also did not allot NEARLY enough time for the autographs.  Sebastian Stan was running over an hour over his allotted time and the staff was rushing him with talking to people - we were at the end of his line, and when we came up he was talking to a handler about why they didn’t budget enough time, and feeling bad bout not getting time with visitors.  Such to the point that while he was signing something for him and we were waiting for him to finish/finish speaking with the staff so we could say hi, one of the staff was trying to rush us out “you got your signature ladies, now go!”  - I’m thankful Shipper said something - along the lines of we paid to at least get the chance to say Hi to him, and poor Seb - was very apologetic even though we weren’t directing it at him/he wasn’t the one trying to rush us out before we said anything.  BUT - My wife got the chance to compliment him on his work on I, Tonya (during the panel, the emcee had spoken to Anthony Mackie and Chris Evans about other roles they’d done, but then asked Seb about The Martian (which he was in like 5 minutes of) and asked how it was working with Ridley Scott (who Seb said was like acting in the dark - NO guidance at all) - and you could tell he was miffed that he hadn’t been asked about I, Tonya since that’s what he’s been promo’ing and the movie is up for some good awards and he has a significant role in it! He also said that he liked my costume!  Eeeee! Another down-side of the arena format was the stairs: we had brought a rolly-bag FULL of the MCU Artbooks (The bag probably weighed like 40 lbs)  for signatures but rolly bags are not convenient for stairs.  Most con floors - sure.  Thanks again to Shipper for hauling it up and down the arena stairs TWICE before we were able to get them signed and taken back to the hotel.  That being said, the upsides were good - All of the Arena staff were absolutely on-point.  They were helpful, concerned about the experience and knowledgeable.  When Chris cancelled they made sure guests had choice of alternatives (subbing-in a different op, doing partial-shoots and refunding the Chris “value” if he wasn’t there, or a full refund) - and stayed late to work on processing refunds.  When the exchange-your-printed-ticket-for a photo-op coupon line got RIDONKULOUS (across the entire arena floor, up the stairs, and around a corner in the next level, arena staff got on it to make sure that people expedited it.  And aside from the lady rushing us at Seb’s table, the rest of the con staff were nice and helpful.  which after Comicpalooza, was incredibly refreshing.
That being said, one of my favorite things about cons - the artists’ alley where you have a lot of craftspeople selling interesting wares - was absent from the con.  They had BIG comic/pop toy/etc dealers on half of the arena floor, and then a big circle of pro artists selling almost exclusively prints (which is great, but I like a variety) all around the (rotunda?) ground floor of the arena hallway.  Then a few different vendors up around the signature area.
Tom Holland was absolutely sweet.  I think that this was his first convention outside of SDCC - where he actually got to meet fans and interact with them.  He had his own private security team that had a second round of checks after the convention group and were more limiting props for shoots, but that’s understandable considering how young he is and how up and coming he is!  (And that this was his first con of this format I think) He was enthusiastic, friendly, and seemed genuinely excited to be there.  He had also volunteered to be a sub-in for Chris Evans with group photo shoots, staying late to help people out.  I missed most of his panel, but it looked like he was having a good time, and Ned’s actor was also thrilled to be there, taking photos of the crowd.   Tom also was having fun peeking out of the curtain of his signature area and waving at the people waiting for him.
Tumblr media
It was still a little weird for me to see all the girls likely half my age heart-throbbing after him XD  I had no idea how popular he was with teens, but it makes sense!   But we were thrilled to meet the MCU Spidey, get his autograph added to our shield, and I think he was an AWESOME Cast!
Tumblr media
Signature Right in the blue in silver! Other things of note - Jon Bernthal makes me squee a little more every time I hear him talk.  He spoke in his panel about the experience that made him an actor.  He had gone to the college for sports, but wasn’t good enough for that to be a long-term career.  He had wound up taking an acting class for an elective because he thought it would be an easy class he could hang in the back of.  IT wasn’t what he expected and when he didn’t prepare for one class where he was supposed to bring a significant object and describe why it was meaningful, and seeing all his classmates breaking into tears talking about the things he brought, he felt put on the spot.  He dug out a baseball glove and made up a story about it being from his grandmother.  He had half the class in tears and felt bad - saying afterwards - no, man, this is just acting - it isn’t true.  The teacher then pulled him aside - and said that he broke the rules of acting - he wasn’t genuine - but that he had a gift.  She made him enroll in the play, and psuhed him.  She changed his life and he tattood her name on his wrist and she officiated his wife and his wedding.
Tumblr media
Ebon Moss-Bachrach (Micro’s actor), on the other hand, obviously didn’t want to be there.  He came an hour late to his signing after a staffmember had to go retreive him, and apparently “came in with an attitude” about being rushed.  He was pleasant enough to us for the signing (and was pleased that people picked up on his character's interpretation being a Snowden analog) - but at the panel he had stank face the whole time, and when asked the same question about what got him into acting it was “it seemed like the most logical choice at the time.”  Moreover, when the emcee asked them about what their favorite role was the other actor had been in, Jon gushed about being a fan of Ebon’s work - his great role on Girls, some of his stagework, and Ebon just.... drew an uncomfortable blank - even after the fact two questions ago Jon had talked about his other roles.  The moderator had to offer him to “come back to him”.  It was kind of awkward.   Anyway!  All in all, the experience was worthwhile - and Shipper’s new iphoneX got some great photos of our cosplays :)

Opinion: Frustrating Fanboys
Oh, how I would like it if this were about frustrating the fanboys, but no... it’s about irritating fanboys, the likes of which you run across when you frequent social media for a while.
To me a fanboy is someone who is so emotionally attached to a product or line of products, they start to irrationally defend things worthy of criticism or can see no wrong in a company’s behavior.
In general fanboys cluster around companies that make quality products on average. The two examples I’m listing are high profile companies that make popular products and in general have a good reputation.
FL Studio All Plugins Edition
The recent controversy is FL Studio by Image-Line. Apparently usually FL Studio doesn’t go on sale, but this year one edition did - the “All Plugins Edition”. It is their most expensive offer currently. They offer quite a rebate, too!
Where it gets fishy is that apparently the All Plugins Edition is not only new - maybe introduced with this sale? I couldn’t verify, but people on social media claim it - but named almost alike to the previous All Plugins Bundle which came for a similar price point (non-rebated).
People have been confused by the wording. The All Plugins Bundle contained all of FL Studio’s plugins also as VST versions you could use outside of FL Studio and many people like that. In contrast, the All Plugins Edition contains only plugins internal to FL Studio - what many people would consider an inferior offer. The information is not exactly hidden and not exactly advertised. They say “native” plugins and if you go into the details of any plugin on offer you get this:
Tumblr media
All of this were kinda fine were it not for the fact of the way the product is named. It is not named “All Native Plugins Edition” - but it is named almost but not quite alike to the popular “All Plugins Bundle” which you can still buy from resellers.
For me that was a hard pass. But cue the fanboys... People started to point this out and complain about it in social media, calling it basically misleading marketing.
Fanboy defense #1: Do your due diligence. Read everything, all manuals, EULAs, whatever. (And people who don’t do this are ignorant, etc.)
But... None of this changes that the name is intentionally misleading. It’s a shite move intended to confuse buyers. And it seems to work. Why blame customers for this? They didn’t pick the name!
Fanboy defense #2: All major DAWs contain internal/native plugins mostly in their bundles. Everybody does it.
But... They didn’t release an almost identically named product that allures to a previous product, making it seem that a much coveted product had gone on sale and then perform a sleight of hand hiding behind asterisks and the word “native.”
Fanboy defense #3: You can use FL Studio as a host plugin in another DAW.
Technically correct, but the overhead of using a full host plugin instead of an instrument plugin consumes more CPU and memory. It probably also adds to the latency. These things aren’t trivialities when you try to make any kind of moderately complex projects, even with modern computers. This is the main reason why people buy VST versions of popular Imagine-Line plugins, after all. To get efficient access to their capabilities.
Hey, nobody was saying FL Studio isn’t good. But fanboys put all blame solely on anyone voicing criticism of a company that just is trying to pull a 400 bucks fast one.
Things that fanboys will do: Never concede a single point, and if you actualy do, immediately raise another smoke screen as diversion. The company can do no wrong...
And we’ll see more of this.
Spitfire Audio Refund policy
I recently ran afoul, admittedly unexpectedly, of the refund policy of Spitfire Audio. I bought a plugin by them and it just wasn’t really good - in my opinion. So I researched if I could get a refund for my 100 bucks purchase.
You should have seen the vitriol I found when others opened such topics. (I did some research.) It’s one of the worse corners of the internet. People who even brought up the topic were ridiculed, basically called ignorant, and made wrong in every possible way. Quite hostile!
The refund policy of SA is quite easy - if you downloaded it, you can’t refund.
Now there’s the justification that you already got the samples and could do whatever you want with them - they are sample-based instruments after all. And furthermore you can watch the walkthrough videos and listen to sample pieces to get an impression.
And that’s just silly. What did they promise me for eDNA Earth? Thousands of of interesting presets. The walkthrough video seemed interesting, I watched it. I knew what the software can be roughly expected to do. What I couldn’t know: The presets accompanying it sound all alot the same. Lots and lots of slow-evolving sounds, kind of drone-ish. There was no true variety. It does mostly one thing. Try gleaming that from a video intended to market it.
And that’s something you find out by trying things. Since this is a Kontakt instrument they probably could have encrypted the samples or definitely have made a demo you can fool around with. But they didn’t.
I didn’t take to social media to vent my frustration. I didn’t have the heart for it, seeing how people had behaved on previous occasions. I just chalked it up as a loss and learning experience.
Fanboy Defense #1: It’s all there in the EULA.
This is indeed correct, but the first question is - why should we defend them for refusing refunds? I think this no-refund policy actually penalizes people who are willing to put down money for their products in the first place. Why do we defend this circumventing of good consumer protection practices?
Fanboy Defense #2: You should have read the manual.
People on a forum (KVR Audio) were acting like reading the manual of a Spitfire Product is an eye-opening revelation that would have prevented any mistakes from being made.
I read the manual for the nearly-a-thousand-bucks BBC Symphonic Orchestra Pro. At 43 pages it isn’t very informative! I couldn’t even ascertain whether the Leader microphones meant you could use the section leaders as soloists, in fact the manual gave me the opposite impression - that they just make the group sound smaller. (Not true.)
Out of these 43 pages a lot is installation and such and the topic of available articulations, techniques, etc is basically handled in 5 pages of plain lists at the end. There is no level of detail here, and pointing to such a manual and claiming this will answer your questions is... bollocks.
Fanboy Defense #3: They do walkthrough videos, really detailed ones.
They do! Often really impressive, highlighting the strengths of each product. But also a marketing tool, so they won’t tell you what it can’t do, it’s always obviously good for everything, too. All is fair in marketing!
But this is where it gets highly annoying - it’s not only the fanboys who voice that this is enough. They are repeating SA’s stated policy back to you. And it’s a weak one - because a marketing video is at odds with the idea of fully informing you.
Having said that, another user helped me out with my questions about section Leader mikes and the walkthrough of BBCSO shows how to use them to solo the section leader. You can gleam a lot of information about what a thing can do from their walkthrough video.
But... try to find out what it cannot do? That’s detective work.
Fanboy Defense #4: All other orchestral vendors do it too.
This is... just facepalm territory. You can’t call out something bad because nobody does it better.
Fanboy Defense #5: There’s no way to protect the samples.
Well, it seems like Kontakt has a way. (eDNA Earth, for example, is a Kontakt library.) You can encrypt samples. (Cue fanboys: “NOOOO. I don’t want encrypted samples!!” I’m talking about a demo here.) This is an industry requiring multiple authentication solutions to exist on your computer, which watermarks your samples to prevent piracy, which requires USB dongles, logging into online accounts, and what not.
And you tell me they can’t do a demo that protects their intellectual property? In the age of DRM? I would be willing to accept DRM in a demo if it leads to both sides winning - the customer can try before buying, and SA protects its IP. Fine with me, nobody has to use the demo after all.
Case in point: BBSCO Discovery is beautiful demo of the basic capabilities of BBCSO. It actually excited me about the library. Can I try every feature? No. Can I collect my own impression? Yes. And there’s a good chance I will upgrade it on their next sale. Both can win - SA and me. Why not always this way? (This one doesn’t even require DRM or sample encryption, so that’s an awesome bonus.)
Conclusion
And much more would be possible. Maybe if we stop drinking the industry’s Kool Aid they would actually improve their offers in these regards too. They are, after all, there to earn our money. That is their purpose.
I don’t fault them for wanting to earn money. I am aware they put a lot of work in to make quality products. They should get fair compensation.
But that doesn’t shield them from all criticism in areas where they are clearly lacking. Unfair marketing practices need to be called out. Refund policies undermining basic consumer rights because they can get away with it (thanks, politics!) need to be called out.
You need to be able to at least voice your frustration or annoyance without being belittled by a rabid horde of fanboys. Love the products all you want, and I sure don’t hate them, either! I just find things worthy of criticism and criticize them. They can continue making great products without these policies. Why find ever new ways of saying “No, this is really great! (Except for you.) They shouldn’t change anything! (Especially not for your benefit.)”
People who bring criticism are not saying a product or company is shit. They are saying something is not right here. I have no idea what the fanboys get out of their behavior - is it a self-righteous validation? Or is their identity so tied into a product that any criticism is taken personal? These are companies, folks. They want to make money. They need checks and balances from the consumer side because clearly no one else will do it apparently.
As I said: Love the products. Enjoy your purchases. Make great music. But don’t hate on people who disagree or run afoul of a corporate policy.

A/N : It’s been to long i know trust me ! i didn’t mrean it, i lost all of my data in my laptop because of some fucked up virus so i had to write everything from scratch....
Normal POV
“(Y/N)!” Dean panicly screamed, awake from unconciousness.
“Hey Dean.. Dean it’s okay..” Sam tried to calm him.
“Sam…  (Y/N).. (Y/N)… “
“Yeah I know, but first we need to find Cas…”
Dean looked around and notice it by now “Where is he ? what happened ?”
“I don’t know Dean, I just know that after whatever he did, we passed out… and teleported… to the middle of nowhere…”
Both of them decided to move, walk to where their feet lead them to. Because for now they’re sure that they’re no longer on the mother fuckin earth. There are no blue sky, no clouds, just this crazy colors swirling around above them. They walk for what it felt like hours. Sam inspecting his surroundings, hoping to find something, or exactly someone to ask for a help. But nothing, glancing toward his brother that surprisingly silent. He found him walking with his eyes staring empty, tears rolling down from them.
“Dean…” He stoped walking, grabed his brother’s arm “Are you okay ?”
“How in the world ?...how in the world people around me are so willingly to give up their life to save me ? I don’t understand Samy, I don’t fucking understand.. why ? why they saved me ? why (Y/N) saved me ?”
“I .. I don’t know either…” he lied, while in fact he knew the answer. They all love his brother, (Y/N) love his brother. “Lets just find Cas first.. we’ll figure something out.” His brother just nodded to the sugestion.
As funny as it sounds, right in that moment someone is watching over them. Far far away behind them, but they could see them just fine.  Slowly but sure, they approach the brothers, silently. Twenty feets, fiveteen, ten, five feet away and they could grab and do whatever they intended to do to the brothers. But before they could do anything, the brothers turned and attack them first. They tackled someone, a men, they hold him to the ground while angrily ask him.
“Who the fuck are you ? Why are you following us ?” Sam hissed
The men just raised his hands in sign of defeat “Calm down, I’m here to save you..”
To this statement Dean scoffed “ Yeah right, save us from what ?”
“You are Dean and Sam Winchester…. The King has ordered me to protect you, to bring you to the save place… to get you away from the Rating Game.”
At the mention of the game, Dean snaped again “Where are we ? and where do you plan to bring us ?”
“I’ll answer your questions, but release me first..” He glanced at the brothers, and they nodded. He stand up, and pat his clothes, to clean them from the dust. “It’s not how it supposed to happen…” he muttered lowly
“What?” Sam heard him
“Like I said it’s not supposed to happened. You’re not expected here, you’re a human. And further more, you’re not just ordinary human..”
“What do you mean by that? I’m confused here..” Dean cut through
He sigh “You people are the only people left that has a connection to the prince of time. Which by the way has erased all of your memories about him, to save all of you. To keep you away from the game. But then your angel has to make you all remember things, and he brought you all straight to the place where the game would be held. So the King ordered me to bring you somewhere else for your savety.”
“So this is the fourth dimension?” Sam asked calmer now
“No…” his answer was quick
“Where are we then ? And where is Cas ?” Dean countered without missing a beat
“τη γέφυρα της διάστασης (ti géfyra tis diástasis) The bridge of dimensions. Your angel are save, he’s with God right now. Maybe he’ll get order to help HIM to be the judge of the game after all… So you would believe me and come with me, or you just gonna stand there all day wanting to be crushed in this war field ?”
“Who’s your name ?”
He was shocked by Sam’s question “Oh.. sorry I haven’t introduced myself yet.. I’m Mavro..”
And just like that, they followed the men.
(Y/N)’s POV
It’s been few days since I got back to earth, and it’s crazy. I thought I leave for months already, I feel I leave for months. While actualy it’s been just a week on earth, it’s bizare, crazy, but nothing seemed to surprise me anymore. And now that I’m back on earth I can’t help to wonder if they are okay. Cas, Sam, and Dean… my Dean. It crossed my mind for a minute, how if I just watch them from afar ? they won’t notice right ? they don’t even know me now, so if I watch them from afar it wouldn’t be matter. But a realization came just as quick as the idea came. My trace, even if they don’t remember me I left a trace. On Dean’s back, those words that i meant to be a message for him. Did I ? Doesn’t it mean I want them to not forget me ? Ha.. I’m just so stupid… they wouldn’t find the words, it’s on Dean’s back he never show his bare chest to Sam, let alone his back. But I get to see it though, those cute freckles on the lower part of his back just like those cute ones on his cheeks. I would like to trace my fingers on every single dot of it while giving him back massage. The feel of his soft haired skin, firm, and warm against my touch. The feeling that I could never feel again. God what happened to me ? I’m here to find a pawn not to mourn over my own decision to save him.
I’ve been looking and looking for five damned days, but I couldn’t find her. We used to play together growing up, even we fight together to protect our neighbourhood from supernatural threats when we were teenager. But she has to move out of the states to help her father, so here I am in the capital of Japan.. Tokyo City. And that’s what i realized was wrong with my search. Her father was a priest for some kind of temple, but I never knew where. And now that I’m actually in the country, I could search for her trace. So I do what I do best, I sit on the bench in the very far corner of the park. I concentrate, taking a deep breath, close my eyes, and let my power take over.
Now here I am, 荒れ狂う空の寺院 (Arekuruu Sora no Jiin) Temple of the raging sky. Watching her from afar, hoping that she would notice my presence shortly. And she did.
“You know, if I don’t know any better… I would kill you by now….”
“Nice to meet you too Akeno…” I greet her
“Moron…” She dashed towards me and envelop me in a warm embrace. “Why didn’t you tell me ? Where were you this whole time ? I couldn’t find you, so I thought you were dead too..” She’s sobbing by now.
“Sorry…” Was my only response, because the second she wraped her arms around me, I broke down too. Relieving in the warm hug of a friend, best friend that I really missed.
“Let’s go inside, you can tell me everything..”
And that’s how I told everything to her. About who I really am, Cas, Sam,….Dean, and the game.
“So you’re saying that you want me to fight with you as your pawn ?” She asked in disbelieve. I nodded. “But why me ? I’m just human, I could get killed in that game (Y/N)…”
“We all could get killed, no matter what we are Akeno. I need you not just as my pawn, but as a friend…” I paused, and look into her eyes. “I know that you know what you really are. Kaminari no Seishin, Spirit of Thunder…. You were a piece of an Angel’s soul. The one that was killed in the game…. Baraqiel… And your father brought you here to protect you….”
After long silence, she sighed “I know that, and that’s why even if I want to fight, I can’t… my father would never allow me.”
“But it’s different now…” To this new voice we turrned to the doorway to see Akeno’s father. He pulled me into his embrace, patting my back “You’ve been through a lot son..”
“What’s different now ?” Akeno asked
We pulled back, I sit down again, while he round the table to sit in front of us “My Dear, like what (Y/N) has told you. You were brought here for your protection. He told you everything about the game yet ?” When Akeno nods, he continues “When your mother was pregnant, she was attacked by a demon, it killed both you and her. But then Baraqiel brought you back to life. A piece of his soul brought you back to life. Right in that moment, I knew that he live as my daughter, as you. And I knew that you were destinied to do a big thing in this life because of it.”
Akeno just stare at her father in disbelief, after long pause she finaly speaks “Okay…. That’s crazy.. but since when my life never been crazy ?... so you okay with me helping (Y/N) ?”
“Yes my dear, if the big thing that you meant to do is fighting with your friend to protect the whole universe, I’m fine with it..”
“So what are we doing right now ? Let’s go!” She said to me.
I still can’t believe how she and her father are so willingly to help me like that. Of course he saw me as his son, and Akeno saw me as a brother, but helping me in life risking war between supernatural beings ? But more than my confussion, I’m happy that she joined me willingly so I don’t have to do those stupid sacrifices to force her. Now here comes the real problem. The pieces is now completed, means that Cosmos could initiate game anytime whether we ready or not. But for now, I’ll just take her to fourth dimension first.
A month latter in fourth dimension, we’re invincible. At least from Hilda and Aria, and Arthur with Pegasus. We trained hard, fight hard, to find the rhytm and the balance in our combination. It was hard the first day, second and eventually the first week was hard. But the moment she struck me with lightning because she was pissed, I knew instantly what to do. I use my power to stop the time, while Akeno prepared her lightning to strike every single enemy on field. Sounded easy enough, but it’s so hard in realization as we fight the queen of amazonians, and the worthy king. The pair should be illegal, and in addition Aria is invisible all the time making it hard for me to concentrate while knowing she could attack at any second. All the while pegasus fliying around attacking from air.
“I must say yout highness, you are the hardest pair of pieces I’ve ever fought…” Arthur said while catching his breath after he dodge my attack.
“What can I say ? we fought together even before we knew what we really are.” He charge at me again, but before he do Akeno strike a lightning in front of him. Halting his move, making him sumble back a few steps.
“Thanks for the compliment, but we won’t let our guard down.” Akeno said while smirking. Before Arthur could manage any remark, Hilda jumped toward us with her axe held high ready to strike. We all jumped to different directions avoiding the impact of her axe.
“But you just did honey..” She said, and as if on cue Aria came up behind me ready to attack. But I’m faster than her, I stopped everything around me. Making Aria froze in between her movement, I steped aside and came up behind her before I let the time run again.
“Now who just did?” I asked them while holding my blade to her neck. In understanding, we all retract our weapons, knowing the fight is already won by me and Akeno.
“You do realize that you are the most fered person between the pieces right, your highness ?” Aria asked a moment after.
“Me…? Feared ? What do you mean ?” I asked back in confusion.
Aria then looked at Hilda, Arthur, then Pegasus who just land beside his partner. The way she looked at them as if asking for permision “I heard the Queen’s pieces the other day, bishop, knight and rook, also their pawns. They talked about how dangerous your power would be. They’ve seen the king fight with the queen in the last game, and they are scared of his power. They  never get to deal with that because the King and his pawn is only allowed to fight the queen and her pawn.” She paused and wait for my approval to continue, I nod “But it’s different now. You, the king’s son, who has his power joined the game as the prime piece, bishop. Means that they have to fight the power they most feared. It makes you dangerous for them, even sometimes we felt intimidated while we practice with you.” At her last sentence I look at Hilda and Arthur, they just nod.
“I.. I don’t know what to say… I guess it’s a good thing that they fear me, but you guys don’t need to, because I’ll never used my power to harm you. We’re friends after all..” At this statement, they snaped their head and looking at me like I grow a second head. They broke into a wide smile and I can’t help myself but to smile too. “What happen to you guys ? why are you suddenly staring at me like that?” They just shake their head, at the same time. These guys are the people that fight in universe saving war, yet somehow they are all just a bunch of cute dorks. I think to myself as I shake my head too.
While we cleaned our weapons after practice, someone aproached us. We looked up to see none other than my father, the king of the fourth dimension, time himself.
“We have a problem…” He said shortly

1.
I do not even know, why I wrote about it. It has to be about ten years since I last watched it. But there it was in my head, and I sat and wrote it down. So here it is, my first story. Of course I’m doing this just for fun and without any profit. Hope you enjoy it! Eyerything felt … strange. One moment the colours were to bright, then pale. The noises around him grew louder, then nearly muted before returning to their familiar level. He could feel fine beads of perspiration on his forehead, while it wasn't actualy hot. He mechanicaly rubed his face. It was this movement which drew Summers attention to him. Slowly she lifted her head of Seths lap, eying him sceptical. „You alright there, Ryan?“, she asked, lifting one of her eyebrows. He just noded in response. Seth however seemed to be fully occupied with the movie they started watching half a hour ago and did not even twitch to indicate he listend to them. He only lightly patted Summers arm so she would lie down again and not hover in the edge of his view. Somewhere, deep within Ryans head a voice was screaming, that this could have been the right moment to tell his friends something was kind of … off. But on the other hand, he was still not used to the fact, that now there were people in his life, that were concerned about his wellbeing and up until now he always had managed pretty well by himself.
Maybe he was getting sick. Maybe this were the first signs of a cold or even the flu. No reason to disconcern his friends about something like that. Up until now they were enjoying their movie night they planed for some time. Maybe it was time to go and get some more to drink. The ice tea on the table in front of him had been emptied nearly by Seth alone. Slowly he peeled out of the comforter he had around his shoulders and rose. He felt his face grow cold. The back of his head was prickling. „Anyone anything from the kitchen?“, he asked, not sure if his voice was even loud enough for them to hear. There was this soft hissing in his ears, which seemed to block everything else and Seth' „bring some coke“ reached him like there was cotton blocking his brain. He made an unsteady step. The ground did not seem as solid as he was used. If he wouldend have been so occupied to do the next step, he would have realized Summers eyes were fixed on him by now. „Ryan?“ Squinting her eyes she thrust he boyfreinds side before she hurried to get off the couch herself. Ryan came to a stop, standing now in the middle of his room. The world around him was swaying slightly. His vision became darker and darker before there was ounly emptiness in his head. She reached her friend just in time for Ryans eyes to roll back, his body becoming slack like he was a pupped having its cords cut. His knees buckled. In a swift movement Summer caught the first thing she could reach, it was his collar, and held him upright before she managed to grab him under his arm just as his body tilted backwards. He was, although not quite tall, considerably heavier than her. With some effort she managed to break his fall and let him sink to the floor more smoothly. Just when she kneeled beside him Seth appeard beside her. „Wow, what was that?!“ His voice was full of concern and maybe even a bit panicked. To her own surprise Summer felt strangly calm despite the fact, one of her closest friends just collapsed out of nowhere into her arms. She kept track of Ryans chest rising and falling as he breathed in and out. This was good she realized. Her hand felt for his wrist, searching for his pulse, finding it the first try. Of course she didn't have much experience with stuff like this, but it seemed regular to her, although maybe a little slow, maybe a little weak. Gently she patted Ryans face, calling his name. A low moan was all she got. She turned towards her boyfriend still sitting beside her, watching her anxiously. „Are your parents around“, she asked. It could be a good idea, she thought, if someone with a bit more experience in life, than just two teenagers, would be there to decide what to do now. Without being told twice Seth hurried to get his parents. Already calling their names. Summers mind was racing. What again had it been they taught her about first aid last year, when she was forced to participate in this stupid workshop. Thinking back she thanked her mother for it. Her view got caught by one of Ryans chairs. She went to get it and positioned his legs on its seat so his legs were elevated. Was that the right thing to do? Maybe change him to recovery position? Before she could decide, she saw him stir. The movement was only short but it was there. Again she knelt by his side, touching his shoulder. „Ryan, come on man!“ His eyelids fluttert before closing again. „No, no, no!“ she cried. She again shaked him, not to intens of course, but in a way she hoped it would reach him. Her efforts were rewarded. Ryan  blinked once, twice before he opened his eyes. It was nearly this moment for Kirsten, Sandy and Seth to reach the pool house. Sandy sat down on Ryans other side, one knee on the floor. „Ryan? Can you hear me?“ Slowly, very slowly the teenage nodded his head. It was as if his brain was taking some time was processing what was around him. „How long has he been out?“, Sandy adressed her. Summer had to think about this. „I doubt it could have been more than five minutes“, she answered, even though it had felt like eternity to her. Sandy nodded, indicating he understood. Ryan was gazing between them. He seemed confused. His face was still almost as white as his shirt. „Sandy... Summer...what“ He broke off. Whith shaky hands he rubbed his face, wondering why he was lying on the floor. „Maybe we should send for an ambulance?“ Kirstens voice came from somewhere behind him. „Better wait a moment and then we will decide what to do, I guess“, Sandy answered. „Please Seth, get him some water. You think you can sit up, Ryan?“ Ryan nodded slightly doubtful. He still could not fully understand what was going on around him. He felt Sandys grip around his right arm and Summers aroung his left, when the both of them helped him out of his awkward position. Dark spots danced before his eyes as soon as he was upright. For one moment he felt like passing out again, but then his vision cleared. He knew they all were watching him. He felt sick. „You alright?“, Sandy asked. All Ryan could do was shanking his head. He could feel the salvia pooling in his mouth, while his stomach contracted in knots. He swallowed convulsiv and gave his best to breath deep through his nose. He did not dare to open his mouth. Behind him there was some comotion when someone opened one of his cupboards. Shortly after a smal bucket was placed on the floor in front of him. „Go, wait outside“, he heard Kirstens voice. The warmth of Summers body vanished from his side. He swallowed again. The more he swallowed, the more his mouth watered it seemed, but he could not stop. His oesophagus was burning. His jaw locked. Kirsten sat in Summers place. Her hand was moving along his spine. Up and down, up and down. „It's alright, Ryan. Just relax.“ Her voice was soothing. „Try to take a deep breath.“ Sandy brought the bucket a little closer. It was the one living under his sink he realized, the one he used for cleaning sometimes. The smell of cleaning agent hit his nose. Orange. Only a hint but enough to make him shiver. He felt his throat constict. Against his will his mouth opened. A string of spittle fell from his lower lip, landing in the bucket in front of him with a soft „blopp“. His breathing became more rapid. „That's right, Ryan. Just let it out.“ He felt his diaphragm convulse. His breath caught. A retch shook his whole body. Stomach acid coated the back of his tounge. He retched again. With a gurgle air was escaping his stomach, followed by a small splash of ice tea he had drunken some time ago. It was still disgustingly sweet in his mouth and its taste made him gag all over again.A small trickle of liquid plashed against plastic. Something got stuck in his throat. He coughed and retched and with a nauseating splashing a huge wave of partially digested crisps and skittles made their reappearence. Disgusted Ryan shook his head and coughed, as soon as he was able to breath again. His nose was burning. He spat in the attempt to make the foul taste leave his tounge. He felt lucky he hadn't been eating much this day - he had been to busy. A few times he was forced to try retch, but either his stomach was already completly emptied out, or he regained enough controll to force his stomach contents to sty where they belonged. He was glad for the tissue Sandy passed him and more than once blew his nose before dumping it in the bucket. The sight of its contents nearly turned his stomach anew and quickly he shoved it away so he would not be forced to look at it. „Feeling better now?“, Kirsten was asking him. It was only now, that Ryan realized, she still had her hand stroking his back. Smoothing, circulating movments. He nodded and felt his cheeks becoming hot. „Thanks. And sorry for...“, he made a vague gesture towards the bucket. „If you think it is safe now, I will dispose of this“, Sandy offered, and Ryan was relieved when he went to rinse it. He leanded against the chair Summer had placed there before. He felt exhausted. He closed his eyes, to rip them open again, when he felt Kirstens hand on his forehead. This was definitely to much contact for his liking, but he was to groggy for actual protest. „Hm“, she said, „no fever. Did you hit your head before?“ Ryan shock his head. „Do you know, what just happened?“ „We were watching a movie“, he tried to remember. „I got up to go and get something to drink. And then...“ He shrugged helpless, when his memorys stopped in nothing but blankness. „You fell over like a tree“, Seth voice came from the door. „If Summer woundn't have been so fast... I'm sure you would at least be concussed now.“ „So he did not hit his head, when he fell?“ „No, Mom. Summer caught him in time. I love this woman. She's having superpowers I tell you. Just like Wonderwoman.“ As wretched as Ryan was feeling, he still had to grin. His best friend was a love-stricken idiot sometimes. „Seth, you are such an idiot. It's nothing about superpowers. If you would have managed to move your eyes away from the screen for only a few seconds, you would have realized Ryan looked like death warmed over all evening. No offence, Ryan.“ Ryan waved his hand to indicate he felt alright about her statement, while Seths face suddenly was filled with guilt. Sandy returned with the rinsed bucket. „I think it's time to get you checked out by a doctor. Come on, up you go.“ Sandy reached out to him, handing his wife the bucket so his hands were free. „I son't think that's necessary“, Ryan protested. Four pair of eyes stared at him disbelieving. „Ryan, you were just giving us a great performance of the dying swan on your one floor. If there has ever been a time for you to be looked over by a physician, it should be now“, Seth told him point-blank. Ryan had no chance but to give in. The two other man grabed him by his arms, when he made efforts to get up. They stood there for quite some time, until the world around him stopped swaying. When there was no sign he would give them a replay of his former performance, they guided him outside, their hands still supporting him. Summer watched as they left unsure, what to do next. She felt the adrenaline leave her body. Kirstens hand gendly touched her shoulder. „You did really great, Summer. Thanks for your help.“ There was a short break before she continued: „Maybe it's time for you to go home now.  I will tell Seth to call you, as soon as we have more to tell you, alright?“ With that she followed her family, bucket still in hand. Summer hoped they would not need it to soon again. But better be safe than sorry. It took hours for Seth to call her. „Hi, I'm really sorry, but it's just now I'm coming out of hospital and I did not want to use my phone while we stood in the ER.“ „Never mind. How is Ryan doying?“ „More or less allright I would say. They checked him over but could not realy find anything. Only his blood pressure was a bit low. He received an infusion and was told to stay for a few hours, just in case. You can imaging how he was whining about this fact, telling everyone it was not necessary. But mom and dad left him no choice with that.“ Summer could only agree with them. Remembering the feeling of his limp body in her arms still made her shiver slightly. „Tell him, if he's not cooperating Wonderwoman will come to kick his ass.“ Laughing Seth promised to tell him. Sometimes men were nothing more than idiots.
