Weekly whats goin on in the dnd campaign update ask!! :D

WELL. we havent actually played this week due to being busy with life and stuff BUT last session was still absolutely BATSHIT

SOOO. SAMMY FINALLY GOT MERGED WITH PROPHET. he is so much weirder (affectionate) but honestly i dont think everyone has noticed. he keeps on rolling really high on "keeping it together" when he is quietly trying to cope with double the traumatic memories he's used to. also hes a golden ink monster (which ive drawn a lot of). oops. once he rolls low more prophety traits will surface and then it'll be obvious that this is no longer the reflection of the past sam that everyone got used to

but in more WORLD SHATTERING news, the ink machine. it uhm. well for some backstory, sammy pretty regularly gets forced to make deals with it, be it to revive someone or to get someones soul from the machine. and the ink machine tends to use very vague wording. so in exchange for three people from the studio, it offered to unlock the exit door forever.

sammy took that deal.

and when he opened the door, everything was in the same style as the studio. uh. crap.

turns out during one of sammys very first few deals, his wording gave the ink machine power to access the outside world and tURN IT INTO AN EXTENSION OF ITSELF. THE OCEAN IS GOLDEN INK. GOLDEN INK IS FLAMMABLE.

so sammy now has to break that news to the found ones in the harbor :/ yikes. but hes planning on staying in the studio until things are sorted out and the world isnt in chaos because he doesnt really want to deal with the implications of a flammable ocean and literally everything else being studio-ified. things are going great

but ALSO since henry and linda are currently stuck in the ink machine their two kids have kinda been being watched by relatives for about a month (its been like 5 months in studio because of how time moves faster inside it). so sammy is planning on going to get them and bring them in the studio to watch them himself because he thinks that being inside the studio is safer than being outside while the world panics. he also needs to get one of the people he kidnapped's son since yk he has morals. (when sammy died the deal he made to get put back in his body was that he couldnt refuse any of the ink machine's orders SO its having him do a lot of bad stuff and he cant refuse otherwise people he's keeping alive with deals might die again :[ he's terrified of the ink machine rip)

back to the found ones harbor, hes organized a meeting to make a list of what people want from the outside world before they hunker down for a more permanent living situation. they're pretty self sustainable rn but people dont have phones and stuff so getting that would boost morale. he, bendy, norman, shawn, lacie, and maybe tom, are all gonna go out and get the stuff before the outside people start raiding walmarts and stuff out of panic. they r also gonna get an animal shelter's worth of pets to bring to the studio and keep them safe. maybe even a petco. also a lot of fish. we have canonized that norman really likes fish. its very cute. OH ALSO ALLISON IS PREGNANT SO THEY ARE GETTING BABY SUPPLIES

BUT YEAH A LOT HAS HAPPENED. im skipping a LOT of stuff that has happened since the last update and now (traveling through universes uncontrollably, dying a few more times, a terrible and evil forest full of nightmares, a handful of deals, gabriel dying and being brought back, etc) but thats the gist of it :]

Saw the wedding gif set and just ugh like what are your ideas for the Malec wedding?? Like if they’d had a semblance of chill and took time to plan it together sjdhdjaf. I hc Magnus hiding the tux he’s wearing and then putting on sexy lingerie underneath to surprise Alec with later and maybe tease him with a peak at the reception because he knows Alec will RAVAGE him and it’s exactly what he wants 👀

ugh okay so while i have thoughts i simply MUST mention that @biconicfinn is the queen of malec wedding and she should totally feel free to add to this if she wants (and also yall should send her asks about it to)

but here's my humble contribution:

flowers. so many flowers. from what I've researched a while ago they're a big part of traditional indonesian weddings, particularly balinese. and yes i know Magnus is javanese but theres a lot of immigration from Bali to Java so like. let me have this. especially the thing about the whole "flower shower" thing in the honeymoon, like Alec laying Magnus down on a beautiful bed full of flowers (J a SmiN eS) and he's laughing and smiling and pulling Alec closer and he looks just. ethereally beautiful so bright and happy and surrounded by beautiful flowers dont touch me I'm emo. i just aaaaa it's what he deserves okay

you're completely right he would hide the tux and Alec would be d y i n g like "come on baby you know i have a kink let me at least get a peek just so i can get used to the idea". and Magnus is like lmao nope. and inevitably he knocks the air out of Alec's lungs because of course it's beautiful and fits him perfectly and fuck he's so in love with him and so, so horny right now. fuck

aaah tbh i like thinking of like. the idea of them planning more than the actual wedding? just because like the planning is so sweet and intimate and them. also im not big on weddings usually and havent been to a lot of them

cake. Magnus would probably insist that they get a cake thats not too sweet, like dark chocolate or something, for Alec :') because he knows Alec doesn't really like super sweet things. but he also makes sure it's delicious and very, like, intricate in taste if that makes sense? he knows shadowhunters are animals and wont appreciate the pleasures of a great cake like this but he wants some good damn sweets god damn it

they'd be so ridiculous and extra about the decorations. like they'd want it to be meaningful and there would probably be like, idk paintings telling their story or some other shit lmao tacky af i know but look i dont know shit about interior design

so many dishes!!!! Magnus is javanese okay he aint about to have a foodless wedding or some basic shit. everyone is gonna have the meal of their lives at his fucking wedding and aint nobody about to stop him

even more pettiness and salt @ the clave than originally planned, like the invitation has AT THE NEW YORK INSTITUTE in huge letters and the wedded union rune is on the decorations but they dont draw it cuz fuck sh traditions actually and the clave dudes are shitting in anger

but also the reception isnt at the institute cuz like YIKES. the wedding itself might be, again just because pettiness, but Magnus & his family prolly wouldnt be too comfortable celebrating for real there lbr. so to be balanced they do it some other place - idk where, but somewhere meaningful for warlocks so shs can eat it

lmao Magnus is probably the bitch who gets a champagne fountain or some shit just so they can all put their glasses under it to get some more and go fucking apeshit. look just the other day he thought he'd be stuck in hell forever and now hes getting married, something he never thought he'd get to do, and his whole family is there, and he's gonna celebrate okay

the party lasts until well into the next morning and there are preparations so that vampires can stay as long as they like and return safely to their clans

summary// this was requested in my ask but i lost it in my notifications. Y/n is a friend from Vernon Hills who David used to have a thing with. Natalie invites Y/n back out and there is tension between reader and David.

Natalie was already at the airport waiting to pick me up when I landed.

“What gate are you parked in front of?” I ask into the phone.

She answers with the gate number that is right outside of my luggage pickup.

“I’ll be standing outside of the car. I can’t stand Jonah right now.”

“Jonah?” I ask.

“Yeah, David made him come with.”

I stop immediately in my tracks, halting my luggage that I had been pulling behind me.

“David is with?”

“Yeah, he’s the one that drove. Is that okay?”

“Yeah, it’s totally fine.” I smile, it’s been a long time since I’ve seen David. I know that he got big on social media. Natalie works for him now, I’ve seen a few of the vlogs but I don’t watch them consistently. He does some pretty cool stuff out here.

Back in Vernon Hills, David and I dated. We were each other’s first everything. We’re fine now, we both had different futures ahead of us. He was leaving for L.A and I was leaving for college. We ended things then, now I haven’t really seen him much since.

“Y/n!” I hear Natalie yell my name before I see her. I look around for a few seconds before I spot her. We run together and she pulls me into a big hug. I can’t tear the smile off of my face, it’s been too long since I’ve seen her. I talk to her constantly, but it pales in comparison to being together in person.

“I can’t believe you’re here!” She cheers.

“I can’t believe it either! I’m in Los Angeles!” I grin.

“Welcome to L.A.” Someone says.

I don’t have to turn to know the familiar voice. David. I do however turn, I look and see David standing there, waiting for a hug. I walk over slowly and let him wrap his arms around me.

“Hi David.” I say over his shoulder. I pull away first, David does too reluctantly.

“Hi, Y/n” He looks down and smiles at me.

I take a step back, I may be friendly with David post-relationship, not ready to be quite that close.

“Y/n, you can ride in the front. I’ll deal with Jonah in the back.” Natalie rolls her eyes before climbing into the backseat. I put my bag in the trunk and join David in the front. He pulls away from the airport and drives towards his house.

“I’m so excited for tonight! It’ll be just like old times!” Natalie says, referring to the three of us hanging out. We used to all be the best of friends growing up. We would hang out constantly since we lived near each other.

“I know!” I turn around to smile at Natalie.

“We have to drop off Jonah before going back home.” David states.

We drive through the city for a while, I’m surprisingly quiet. I’m trying to take in the city while I’m here, looking out my window. I turn to the other side and watch David drive. It feels exactly like when years ago we would drive around looking for anything to do.

“Do you want to go in?” David asks, he’s taking off his seatbelt. We arrived at the Antonyan family home.

“Sure.” I get out and cross my arms over my chest. I follow Natalie in and we sit down on the couch.

David films a few bits for his vlog. I have to admit, this is an interesting and funny family. I can see why David has latched onto them.

“Are the always like this?” I ask Natalie with a laugh.

“Yes.” She answers without hesitation.

We stay there for a while longer before leaving. We drive back to David’s house. I’ve seen the pictures, but the house is even more amazing than I thought it would be.

“Damn, Dave.” My jaw it practically on the ground. “This is amazing.”

He lets out a loud laugh, not sure how to take a compliment. I follow Natalie to her room so I can set down all of my stuff and change. Natalie and I both put on pajamas and face masks. We laugh and talk for hours until we’re interrupted by a knock on the door. Hesitantly, David walks in.

“Wow, I feel like I just stepped back into eighth grade.” He laughs before pushing his hair back. Natalie and I both laugh, he’s right. This was basically every Friday night for the three of us in middle school.

“I just wanted to ask you Natalie if you could make that call for the Seatgeek thing?” David asks.

“Oh, right.” She quickly gets off her bed and grabs her phone. She walks out of her room and I can hear her start talking to someone. It seems late to be making a business call but I decide not to question.

“How’ve you been, Y/n?” David asks, he takes a seat on the edge of Natalie’s bed.

“I’m doing good actually. Glad to finally be graduated and ready to start my life.”

“That’s really great.”

“What about you? How have you been other than rich?” I joke.

He laughs before answering that he’s good as well.

“I can’t believe you’re here right now.” He says in disbelief.

“What do you mean?” I ask.

“Well, it’s just that so many times I wanted you here. I’ve really missed you these past few years.” David admits suddenly getting serious.

“I’ve missed you too.” I place a hand on his shoulder, “You can always talk to me, Dave. We were best friends before anything else, that didn’t change.”

He nods to agree before leaning in for a hug. I pat his back and pull away slightly. He’s looks directly in my eyes, our close proximity sends goosebumps down my spine. I can feel his warm breath on my face. His attention is drawn down to my lips when I bite my lip.

“David-” I whisper, both of us are out of breath with anticipation.

We both notice Natalie’s footsteps and I jump up from the bed. I stand up and push my hair out of my face.

“I made the call, we’re all good for next week.” Natalie smiles. She jumps on the bed back to her old spot, completely missing the vibe of the room.

“Great. Thanks.” David is short and quickly leaves.

Natalie and I move on, eventually we both go to bed. She crashes right away, but I can’t say that I’m the same. I decide to get up and grab a glass of water.

“You’re still up?”

My heart nearly jumps out of my chest, I clutch it out of fear.

“Holy shit, David.” I close my eyes, frustrated.

“Sorry.” He laughs. I didn’t notice him or his laptop as I walked by the living room.

“What are you doing up still?” I put a hand on my hip.

“Editing.” he points to his laptop.

“Yikes, this late?”

He nods, “What about you? Why are you still up?”

“Couldn’t sleep.” I answer plainly. I scratch the back of my neck, thinking of what almost happened earlier.

I grab a glass of water, drink some and walk over and join David on the couch. I watch him edit for a while, I also comment on the people on the vlog. He explains who a few people are and what some of the bits he does are. He really does live a busy life.

I don’t recognize when exactly I start to fall asleep, but my eyelids get too heavy for me to hold up anymore.

David’s POV

I recognize Y/n’s breathing change immediately, telling me she’s fallen asleep. I look over to my side to confirm that I’m right. I get up and grab her a blanket and throw it over her sleeping form.

I go back to my original spot and finish editing the vlog. I like having Y/n here, she’s just a calming presence to have right here. It makes me happy that she’s in my city, let alone on my couch under my blanket. It’s been too long since I’ve seen her.

I didn’t think she could get more beautiful, but age has done her well. She looks so mature, no hint of awkward teen left. I push away the strand of hair that fell in front of her face waiting for the vlog to upload to youtube.

As soon as the page reloads, telling me that I uploaded, I let my eyes close.

Y/n’s POV

“Y/n” a voice whispers, shaking my shoulder slightly.

“Hmm?” I ask, not even bothering to open my eyes.

“Y/n, what are you doing out here?”

I open my eyes, Natalie standing over me. She has her arms crossed, but a smirk on her face.

“What?” I sit up, rubbing at my eyes.

“How did you end up out here? With him?”

She gestures to my side where David is asleep.

“I got up to get a glass of water.” I explain.

“Are you sure that that’s all that happened?” She lets outs a laugh.

“Yes, Natalie.” I groan, flopping back onto the couch.

“Alright.” She holds up her hands in mock defense. “I just think it’s interesting that you have David’s comforter.”

“Huh?”

“I grabbed it, Natalie.” David mumbles into his pillow.

I didn’t even know that David was awake. Apparently, he is and he was listening. Great.

“Alright Y/n, you have to get up. We have a busy day ahead of us.” Natalie smacks my hip and walks over to the kitchen.

“We do?” I groan.

“Yeah, we’re going to do some touristy stuff during the day and then tonight we have a party to go to.”

“A party?”

“Yep.” She smiles.

“David invited us.”

Ohhh bitch i am here! I was legit just having a mental brake down and now im here. Ohh boy!!! Im so excited to be here and now im seeing Amanda again! But me geting jenna out and willa ohh boy! Im gonna have to talk to willa and hopefully jenna isn't so harsh this time around! Ah im so excited i just hope im not a pre-juror boot because im going to be so emotional this game and hopefully play a villainous card!

I AM SO EXCITED FOR THIS!!!! So far, not much has happened which can be good or bad. I'm a bit nervous to be playing with returnees being on the other tribe because they might be better at immunity challenges than us. I'm a bit nervous about Pine Boy being in this game because I heard that he's really good. So far I like Toph (Azores buddy <3), Sultana, Jacob, and Nick. Nick came to me right away and said he liked me and wanted an alliance with me. I was like sure!!! Who would I be to decline an alliance? An idiot, that's what I would be. I'm wondering how we're going to do idol hunting on this season and I hope we find out soon. I want to redeem myself from my Azores mess. That reminds me, Toph being here can be really bad for both of our games. If anyone know what Azores is, they know that I gave Toph my idol. They know that we were close, which can be really bad for our games. If people look at Azores and assume that we're still close (which we are), we're fucked in the long run. I love writing confessionals, I missed that in Azores. Sure, we had Ponderosa confessionals, but I wanted to talk more game shit in there. Another thing that I'm worried about: If Toph read my in-game confessionals during Azores, he knows that I'm reluctant to play by his side again. Or, if he has a brain, he can infer it from that. Hopefully, this wont all blow up in my face. I can't wait for the shit show to start after the immunity challenge.

Heyo! The name’s Johnny, from Survivor: India, the guy who went through only two tie votes in his seasons, and I guess I’m ready to swing at the sandbags again. I’m glad to be back and hopefully I don’t fall in the pits that I fell in last time. I’m not settling for premerge this time ‘round. So this tribe is definitely a lot bigger & badder than I expected. Lots of personalities, lots of players, and a shit ton of self-professed “bitches”, “villains”, and whatnot. I just want to survive a while in here so I’m ready to slap on the under-the-radar happy tribe mascot sticker. But of course, the twist is revealed. I tried for the advantage but as always, my luck runs dry and I’m beaten to it. Figured Jordan Pines had it and right I was - dude won immunity. Lucky fella. Oh well, better him than ~some~ people, because at least he probably won’t want me gone first. I’ve also had some decent chats with Issy & Daniel, a bit o’ back-and-forth with Chris, and barely anything with Jake, Isaiah, and LA. And Adrian & Rhone, as far as I know, is a no-show so far. I do know Adrian though, so hopefully that gives me some brownie points! Now we’re gonna go on a tribe call and if there’s anything I know about myself, I’m both awkward and quiet on large calls so… hopefully I leave a decent impression.

So the tribe call just ended with the understanding that a second one would start, and guess what didn’t happen? It does feel a smidgen shady so hopefully there isn’t some chat without me already made because THAT would suck. After the call, though, Jake comes to me all desperate asking “We’re good right? I won’t vote you.” Dang, this guy moves quick. He asks me what I want to do and when I say wait it out for a little bit, he says “Good plan, low key wanna help the tribe.” Mate, simmer down, no need to jump on the gameplay horse so quick. I feel like he has some bad connection with someone, but I’m just not quite sure who that’d be. I know nothing about Tumblr connections, sadly. I trust Jordan right now - not too much, of course, I’ve heard how good he is at this stuff - but I’ll give him a little info and hope he reciprocates. I just wanna live until I reach a point where I can go full India mode and explode onto the scene. We’ll have to see if I can suffer through this tribe, first… I’ll just suffer well.

GUESS WHO WON IMMUNITY PEEPS ANYWAYS so since im at least surviving 1 tribal i have time to build relationships with these people, i've been talking to amanda and she's cool, and atm im on call with jacob/toph/peyton and im waiting for someone to add me to an alliance because im so talented

Everything seems pretty tame but since there is a tribal coming up, that scares me. I like Madison, Taylor, Sultana, Toph, Jacob, and Nick as of now. I'm going to watch the videos right now to see where people's heads are at right now. If I can do that, I'll be able to get a better read on everyone. Hopefully, that will help me with figuring out who to vote out. I'll pray for the best while reading Animal Farm.

CONFESSIONAL: This is my first time in tumblr survivor history that I will be present at the premiere of the season. Pretty fucking excited. I'm like a survivor noob when it comes to the premiere. I've always been gone during it so this is my first premiere ever! I am hoping my 2nd and 1st place finishes don't put a early target on my back. I just need to make sure the tribe views me as an asset as opposed to a threat CONFESS: i think my status will help me. it says something about depression i think people will like that and that should be a convo starter

so me being the little bean that i am decided to have everyone join the call and now im an alliance called the "core fore" i mean like its me Payton, madison, and Jacob! okay that was just some basic ass info. here's my thoughts on everyone else! Amanda sledge: the only person i will trust in this game. she played an idol on me in Azores and if that isn't trust i don't know what else is. Payton: he seems ok, i mean he kinda seems Plainer then Rasin Bran but i mean her has a goat farm and litty. Madison: she seems woke and i would like to work with her given her immunity win and letting everything happen with this alliance already taylor: i mean he seems ok. But like he just got on call so ill keep you posted on him. Sultana: a woke ass queen! i really wanna work with her she seems super funny and chill and like a queen of everything she dose like harassing her mom for food! i would love to work with her will she wants too as well! the others: they have said nothing so like ima try and get one of them out now or payton. dfjbndofb Ok so currently i'm in about 2 alliances! Amanda, nick and myself are in one alliance. meanwhile i'm in an alliance with Jacob, Payton, and Madison together so like i have no idea if this is good or not because i don't wanna be caught so i feel like i need to tell Amanda so she dose not get mad and i can work with her! I really have no clue on what is going to happen. I don't want to trust anyone yet because tomorrow we will see were the lines will be drawn. I am like 50% that someone inactive will be voted off. but not if i have anything to say about that! I want payton out because i feel like he is dry and kinda basic. after all i will try and be the villain of the season oops! i honestly really like Petra though and think shes very chill and interesting. lets hope she feels the same way. i'm hoping i can just stay calm for now and then go and cry about it latter. i honestly am very hungry right now though like i ugh. Ok that is besides the point. But i feel like i need to bring my paranoid level up to like a ten because i can't trust none of these bitches or i'm gonna be scared as hell. my ears are open to everything and i have a google docs open and im ready to kill some people.

So at the beginning of the game, me and Amanda talked alot and decided to team up. Then Amanda was good friends with Toph. So then we formed a three person alliance. While we were on call, me Amanda, Toph and Suitana formed an alliance. The twist was announced that both tribes will be going to tribal. I really hope I am not first out but I got a solid 4 person alliance called the Wig Snatchers with them.

I feel like I'm the least extra person here and some of them I think don't like that I'm not super extra

I love being on tribe calls because late at night is when alliances are made! I'm currently in an alliance with Petra, Nick, and Toph (Seamus too). We don't have the majority yet, but I like Jacob and Madison. I hope they will vote Jenna with us. I heard nothing but bad things about her from Toph and she seemed cool, but I think right now it's our best option to get her out since she has no wifi at the moment.

Hey everyone, first confessional. I have not played in one of these games in a very long time so I feel very rusty. Anyway, this double tribal twist could really mess up my game but I can't worry about that at the moment. My plan is watch my tribemates videos and try to find common ground. I know Poteet is really embarrassed about going out premerge, and I went premerge too so we can talk about that. I need to take it one step at a time.

I have gained the trust of a good amount of the tribe, and they all are just kinda doing what I say, so i feel like i have some power suddenly. Not saying I'm on the path the a villain but we'll see what happens.

i want to die

Joy, oh joy. I wake up this morning (if 11:30 AM is considered morning) with Jake being the only message to me and I think, THAT can't be a good sign. So he reiterates him wanting to work with me, yadda yadda, badda bing, and says that he values we have history. I'm pretty sure our history is just like one or two Skype minis so unless I'm forgetting something, ripperoni. He also tells me he's "heard a few names floating around" but when I asked him who it was, no response. Go figure. Luckily, Chris Stoner messages me and tells me that as of now Jake is the vote (I'm assuming from the mind of Jordan Pines) so at least I have some solace there. So while my video confessional is uploading, it seems like I got Taylor's vote to get Jenna out! I'm really excited to not be the first boot, honestly. I'm sad though because she never got to send me pictures of her kittens. Maybe if I keep her she'll show me! Anyways, how's your day? So Jake said that Rhone had suggested Issy (due to their beef from another game, pretty sure it was a wiki game I viewed lmao) or Chris to go home. I found this a little bit fishy but then again I've found most of what Jake's been doing to be fishy. However Jake seems to think it'll be Issy going which is convenient. I also hopped on a call with Jordan Pines and we traded a bit of info - I'm not going to give him EVERYTHING persay (I've been told many stories about him so best to tread lightly) but luckily he gave me some. Jake had randomly made an alliance chat with Jordan and Rhone last night without informing either of them and both distrusted it. Jordan wants to keep some sorta secret information sharing pact between the two of us and I'm game, but I need to make sure he trusts me so I still have to actually give him credible tales. I've just gotta stay on his good side for now and be the nice, honest fella on the tribe. That'll keep me afloat until the swap (which seems like it'll be an auxillary situation. How fun). I do like Isaiah and Adrian a bit and I wouldn't mind working with those two, it'd be nice to get something rolling along with em. We'll have to see, though, because I'm not sure how social Adrian's been so far. As of now, our first boot should be Jake. Let's just hope we can stay strong and not lose to those meddlesome newbies.

I'm not going to lie... I'm a bit nervous. A tribal shouldn't be going this smoothly unless there's something going on in the background. Dear god, let this work out. I will write more after tribal is over, I'm just too nervous right now.
