Hey. Are you doing okay rn? I hope so. I have this idea for a fic that I REALLY want to write, but it's my first one and I'm scared that it won't be good enough and that it won't get much attention. Do you have any advice?

Hey anon! I told myself once I get back on here, you're going to be the first anon I answer because this is a big deal, or at least it is to me. I'm sorry for the super late reply, but here goes!!

There's no right or wrong way of writing your first fic. Do what you gotta do, write the fic you know you would LOVE to read and get lost in. Think of it this way, the story you want to write will someday inspire others to make a story of their own. It may not be perfect, or it might be. @waxwing-saint told me once to be the fic writer you want to see in the world. It sounds like you have a lot of ideas already buzzing in your head, and all it needs is to be heard---or in this case, read ;)

Just go for it, anon. It could be the start of something amazing and even perhaps the first of very many. And I'm doing alright, thanks for asking :) I hope you're doing good too ❤

Dearest, let me just talk to you for a second, okay? Whoever sent you that awful message is so wrong. I'm one of the anons who sent you an ask during your hiatus and finding your blog has had such a positive influence on me. You are definitely not alone. Not only do you have your online friends, in-person friends, and family who care about you, but even strangers and people in other parts of the world who admire you from afar who see you as such a brave, strong, and inspirational person. And if you take into consideration everyone who exists now and who has existed before, you are even less alone, you know? Because even if you can't talk to them, there are definitely people out there who have gone through or are currently going through similar situations, people who have gone through lots of pain and lonely nights and deal with your mental and physical conditions. So, please don't feel broken, and remember that there is always hope for you and that there's a chance things won't be this bad forever.

Let me tell you a little about the positive impact you've had on my life.

Since finding your blog, it's inspired me to be more open about my own issues, even in fandom spaces. I know online, there are lots of people who don't want to post about their struggles (which I totally understand, but it also made me feel somewhat isolated sometimes like "Oh God I am the person with the most messed-up personal life in this fandom and should be put in the mental ward instead of reading fluff" and similar negative thoughts towards myself). I have a group of writer friends and I try to keep things light-hearted but I'm finally opening up more about why I can't always be cheerful and upbeat. Before, I thought there was something "wrong" about sharing mental problems when you're a fic writer (since fics are supposed to be an escape from irl sadness and issues) but I've gotten so much love and support.

I've also started to put more "pain" into my writing (thanks to what I said before). Since I don't have to hide anymore, writing can be a way I express what I'm going through. And overall writing has become one of the healthier ways I try to cope better than before (since I have issues related to thoughts of not wanting to exist, SH, finding no help because of my medical issues, trauma, etc.)

I've missed your fics on Tumblr, too, and think you are so talented. But I haven't wanted to send any asks that would make you feel pressured to post them until you're ready to again. The only reason I'm bringing it up now is to let you know that you do bring value into the world with your writing, you cheer people up, I love your headcanons and your style is so unique.

And to end things on a light-hearted note, you also got me even more interested in lee/ler content, especially in regards to Hawks (yep, I'm the anon who shares some similar fandoms and have especially been going through a big Hawks obsession thanks to Season 6) and just exploring less common types of fic themes without caring as much what people think. Idk if I'm explaining myself right but basically I feel more courageous nowadays to put 'unusual' things in my writing, because my friends love it, and the people who don't like it can just go away and not read if it's supposedly too 'weird' for them, hahaha xD

hi. just needed to get this off my chest. I saw your WIPS and I noticed a lot of jungkook. I remember you and the author friend mentioned about jimin tags and how hard it is to get pjm content. so if you're a jimin bias why are your fics dominantly jungkook? I hope for more jimin fics too 😞

hello, anon dearest! ahhh. first off, are you talking abt the wips i posted here or all the wips i have here? bec let me tell you, the former is a list of fics that i have at least 1k words written for - but i might not post them for another year. if you're talking abt the latter list, well. you're factually incorrect. but we'll get to that.

now. of course there's a lack of pjm content these days and mistagging doesn't help the issue. and let me tell you, i do feel guilty for just complaining and not being able to produce anything new to resolve the issue. i do have a jimin fic in the works the teaser for which i'll be dropping within the next week. but yes. you are right for hoping for more jimin content.

BUT! i don't think my fics are dominantly jungkook and not jimin? i was under the impression that i write jimin too much and should slow down on it, in fact.

i posted a jimin fic every month, from jan-april, this year.

i have 8 jimin fics in my masterlist and 5 jungkook ones, the last of which i posted less than a week ago.

in terms of word count, i have almost 125 k words of jimin, while less than 50 k words of jungkook.

i have 4 jimin and jungkook wips, each.

and i think all of that is quite fair of me as a jimin bias.

now, aside from the fact that i do, actually, write (and am able to write, bec he is my muse <3) more jimin than any other member, i do have a special place for yoonkook right after jimin on my bias list. so they're comparatively easier to write than the others.

so i do believe you're wrong in your claim, dear writer, i do not dominantly write jungkook. not that it would be a bad thing if i did - if the muse strikes, there's no harm in writing what your heart wants, right? but in terms of the lack of content, i'll get on that train asap (in late august) and flood everyone's dash with jimin content, i promise! 🥰

(oh, and to let you in on a secret, anon? i have plans of a mini-series for jimtober! 👀 wish me luck on that! ❤)

let me clarify that i'm not offended by this ask at all. you were incorrect about certain things and i hope i clarified them for you. i am glad to know there are others who are craving more jimin content like i am, tho!

now my answers to your questions: 1. You said you had exams coming, what do you study? this one is a little hard to explain, so hopefully you understand. i'm currently writing an exam that's supposed to be kind of a "prelude" to university. the subjects i'm doing are math, physics and computer science, and i intend to do something along those lines in university (although i'm not sure what yet...)

2. What's your MBTI and enneagram? i'm an istp, and my enneagram is 5w6!

3. I assume Victor is your bias, is it? Better phrasing it, who is your MLQC bias and why? oh, my bias is definitely victor, although i liked lucien the most at first. i actually disliked victor the most at the start because i just couldn't stand how everything he said seemed to turn into an insult (and well, mc isn't very good at giving him a taste of his own medicine), but when i started doing his dates apart from the main storyline of the game, he definitely became my favorite. his personality seemed much more endearing and comfortable. all the guys are really unique in mlqc, as compared to other otome games i've played, but victor really stuck with me the most.

Hello my dearest!

So good to see you again! My week was utter crap, but I'm a week away from 10 days of no work, so all good! I think I got the gist of what you're doing right now, yes, and all of those subjects sound super interesting. I remember having this subject in college called Logic Applied to Linguistics (I'm a linguistics major) and being super hard, so you have to be super smart to get into any of those fields. As a forever Theory of the Big Bang fan, I secretly hope you get in Physics, it sounds really interesting. As for ideas, I love trivia, fun facts, unknown cultures, etc. I love working with them and using them as metaphors. If you have something you'd like to share, go ahead. I love it! Ok, now to your questions:

1. when is your birthday? (so i can wish you a happy birthday when the time comes (❁´◡`❁) ) Same as Andrea's, June 11th, because I'm lazy. (PS: I want to know yours as well)

2. what's your favorite sport? (either to play, or just watch on tv)

Ha, again, I'm lazy and I don't watch or do any sport besides hiking. Sometimes, I play tennis and badminton with my kids because they are both players and I want to keep them motivated. But that's pretty much it.

3. what would you do if you won the lottery?

Buy a house by the ocean and write to my heart's content. I could say traveling, buying fancy cars, yada yada, but what I really want to do is to write. And that's it. I'm easy to please.

4. so i know english isn't your first language...yet your writing is amazing! do you have any tips for learning a new language? i'm thinking of picking up japanese again after exams!

First, thank you so much. Now, advice... Immersion. Read and watch and listen to as much Japanese as you can. If you can get a learning buddy to practice and speak Japanese to daily, the better. The more you listen and speak, the faster you learn. Don't limit it to school hours.

5. are you a morning or a night person?

Morning person. I wake up naturally early and if I sleep in (like ten am, for example, which is not incredibly late) I get frustrated because it feels like I missed half of the day. Although I work pretty well after 10 pm (when the house is quiet). But writing, for example, flows way better in the morning.

I'm super stoked about the next chapters as well, and looking forward to reactions. I'm releasing the next one tomorrow and a chapter of the Keeper's Journal by Wednesday (with juicy info). These next chapters are super important for the story, because they tie up the theory and make it more understandable (while I have been basically hinting so far) so I hope I do them justice. And once again, my characters took me down a path I seriously wasn't expecting, but I must respect their wishes, so things took a small turn. Let's see what comes out of it!
