Low key disappointed that Earthspark is gonna drop its whole season at once on Paramount+

I’m gonna have to binge it all in 1 sitting so i dont get spoiled :(( kinda hate what streaming has done to series

I sometimes miss the days where we had to wait for each episode of a cartoon. It was a nice little something to look forward to each week.  Gave us time to discuss each episode properly and get excited and theorize for the next one

regardless if it’s a timeskip or not i do think the new outfits signify a new chapter in their lives??? like in the case of bat:

kuukou’s still punk still monk lol but more importantly, he still has his sachihoko symbols on his haori thing. kuukou’s always changed the symbols on his coat whenever he gets a new one so it’s an important point!!! sachihoko are guardians to protect from storms so kuukou still has his protector/protection imagery

jyushi’s overcoat is still the same style but it is longer and darker and his outfit as a whole is grandiose lol like even more vkei, so i’d say this is jyushi’s final form a jyushi more true to himself and braver than ever before and ready to perform on his biggest stage yet

hitoya’s i’m not too sure actually lol but it reminds me a lot of his fit back when he helped out kuukou and jyushi. if that’s the angle then it might have him playing support for whatever he’ll be getting into as jakurai’s partner. also lends to his own knight imagery since that’s the period of time we see him as a defender

A really good donut place around where my grandpa’s lakehouse is apparently closed and I am grieving right now. Those were some of the best donuts I had ever had. They were fresh, they had abt a million flavors, and the guy that worked there was so nice and polite and sometimes he would bring his kid there and it was just so sweet seeing him entertain his kid and be an awesome dad! I’m pretty sure only one guy worked there, because every time I went there was always the same guy. Sadly I wasn’t able to go often because we only rlly go to my grandpa’s lake house a few times a year and even then a lot of times we weren’t able to go into town cuz there was too much to do at the house with cooking and just hanging out on the lake.

But my grandpa made me so mad when he told me, because you know what he said? He said, “it was probably because they just used store bought donuts and stuck the topping on them.” I’m sorry sir but that was not at all what they did. People that work in bakeries get up insanely early, like 4:00 am early, go to work, and spend hours baking anything that they sell that day. My grandpa thought, simply because the guy that worked there grabbed a donut from a box (that was noticeably not labeled from any store), that he just went out and bought plain (who tf sells plain donuts, like no glaze or anything???) donuts and jsut stuck some extra topping on them. I’m sorry but I don’t think my grandpa has ever tasted a store bought donut because those donuts tasted like they had just been made in an oven made of gold that was flames by Hestia’s hearth.

As someone who bakes as a hobby this brought out a deep rage inside of me and I needed to vent here to be sure that I didn’t yell at my grandpa… (he’s not the best grandparent but I still love him)

1. I like going on dates! Quarantine restricts us from really being able to go on quote-on-quote “real” dates but I’m happy eating Taco Bell in the car, driving around and spending time with each other talking, listening to music and enjoying the views. It’s simple but wholesome and sweet. I think if you are with the right person or just with someone who makes you happy, you can be anywhere and do anything (even just sit and stare at each other lol) and still be at your absolute happiest. I’m rlly excited because it’s getting warmer now which means I can plan picnics in the park and hangouts at the beach & stargazing at night (within safe distance and health regulations of course).

My dream date would either be some sort of camping-lake swim type thing (swimming in a lake, cooking with a campfire, sleeping beneath the stars by the water) or “Cakespeare in the Park” (watching Shakespeare in the Park on a picnic blanket whilst eating cake out of wine glasses lol). 🍰☁️💗

2. Beach days! The best feeling in the world is when u come back home from the beach and u are a lil tired from the sun sapping out ur energy and u smell like the water. Or just the first cold dive into the water of the year and floating on ur back as the rays beat down. especially in freshwater... lake swims are superior to swimming in the ocean 😤. I love the sun and the water lol both in tropical places and here in Canada. eating fast food on a blanket, getting a tan and then swimming... 🥺. And swimming at night beneath the stars... nothing beats it 💗

3. Kisses 🥰. I used to not be that big a fan tbh lol but now I’m constantly 😘😘😘😘😘😘😘

4. stargazing! one of my new year’s resolutions was learning how to spot constellations. i only know the big dipper atm lmfaoooo but it’s nice to be able to find it no matter where i go. that consistency and certainty is refreshing and reassuring lol and i’m hoping this summer i can learn to spot a couple of new constellations. ✨🌠🌌

5. Water! waterfalls! Ponds! Lakes! Fountains! Rain! The beach! The ocean! Streams! Rivers! i only like going on walks in nature if there’s water nearby lol. & rainy days are my favourite 🌧☔️💧
