Sorry, reading more carefully the anon said they hoped it was misleading or inaccurate, so yeah, my mistake.

Still I really think we can't really trust those interviews 100%.

Anyway I'm glad this FBI/Nazis plot is over, even though I think it may have provided a bit of growth for Owen when he admitted to have always thought he could have prevented things if he had known about it in time, but to have realized that is not true, and knowing is actually worse because most of the time you're really powerless to change things.

I am thrilled the FBI plot is finished - and since they made the people that are a real threat in the state & country that the show takes place in the victims - I am going to pretend that part didn't happen. (This is honestly my only issue with the storyline.

But, I loved the way Owen thought back to 9/11, I love that it seems like they are taking steps in letting him deal with the trauma of it - and letting him realize that he can't always save the day. I think that Rob did an amazing job in this episode - his strongest by far this season (at least in the more dramatic scenes - Tommy & Owen in his office is my favorite). It would be great it they let the characters recover from the trauma the writers put them through - let us see a resolution for once instead of making it up on our own.

They are right - sometimes knowing that something is coming, but being powerless to stop it can be even more tragic than something that you are completely unprepared for - not that the deaths/destructions isn't tragic either way - but when you know its coming, but can only wait and watch - that fucks with you. I think they portrayed that part really well this episode.

I think there would have been more suspense about him going into the Capitol if we hadn't already seen him in stills for future eps (kinda like I didn't really stress out during Carlos' captivity knowing he would be fine because of stills from future eps.) so it made it easier for me to focus on the acting, the performances, what was going on instead of trying to anticipate what was coming.

The scene towards the end - of Andy's confession in the board room, the way he was emotionally supporting O'Brien from across table - they way he made sure that the man knew someone was there to support him (even though he was there in an official capacity). Owen is great at lending support - but doesn't like to get it in return.

I thought there was some growth for Owen when he told the 126 that he couldn't carry the weight on his own anymore once he told them he had been working with the FBI - He isn't a man that admits that he needs help, so I thought that this scene was pretty powerful in his journey.

I know you sent me this ask after episode 2. But I’ve been real busy and just caught up with everything. I did watch the episode then and only got the time to respond to this now. So I’ll gossip about both ep 2 and 3.

Ep 2: I HONESTLY LOVED IT SO MUCH. I AM LOVE TOMMY SO MUCH. SHE IS A GODDESS. I am obsessed with her storyline, she’s a fave. I wasn’t very happy after 4x1 because of the marriage thing when it comes to Tarlos but I truly loved episode 2 because they showed their growth very beautifully. The Owen stuff is very skshskskskgakkj. I mean it’s predictable tbh. I don’t dislike the storyline. It’s fun. It’s very Owen-y. I really liked the conversation when TK asked Carlos if he was a project and how Carlos comforted him. Its going in my top tarlos moments easily. Also Iris is hilarious I love her.

Ep 3: CARLOS REYES IS THE LOML AND THE BIGGEST IDIOT IN THE WORLD SKSHSK.

The CPR Doll thing was fucking hilarious and I couldn’t stop laughing. They’re so real for this. 10/10. But there weren’t any other rescues which I missed? I need more of 126.

Carlos and TK’s argument oofff>>>> but it wasn’t very angsty or mean so I’m okay with it tbh. Carlos wasn’t rude or anytjinf and people fight sometimes in relationships so it’s real and believable. Idk why everyone is so bent over it tbh but I get it, viewers are mad at Carlos for the marriage thing and that’s valid. There are parts of the storyline which I’m not too fond of But it’s a drama show so I’m like good with the flow lmao.

BUT I AM LOSING MYSELF OVER THE WHOLE SERIAL KILLER THING BRO WHAT IN HE EVERLIVINF FUCK. It’s going to be so gruesome from the trailer and I’m scared. I need TK to be cryinf over his body and a heartbreakingly beautiful reunion scene thank you very much.

hi! i just wanted to say that I’m really enjoying your top 10 set and I’m (nervously 👀) looking forward to seeing the last two , but I wanted to know what your top 10 episodes were? They’re all so good it’s so hard to choose!

thank you anon! it's been a lot of fun, and there were definitely a few surprises on that list. as for my own top ten, it's a little hard. my top five is pretty easy, but here we go:

1. in the unlikely event of an emergency - i hold this episode so close to my heart and consider it one of the most beautiful episodes of television I’ve ever seen. gwyn is undoubtedly one of my favorite characters on the show, and tk's experience losing her so suddenly and dealing with that subsequent grief hits very close to home. i'm going to cherish this episode for a very long time.

2. push - what is there to say about push that hasn't already been said? it's a perfect cap to the first arc of the season, and was my favorite episode of lone star up until 3.08. it's just beautiful all around, and my only complaint is that this is the only episode we got with andrea this season. i miss mama reyes.

3. saving grace - i love me some judd and grace, and this episode by far is one of the most magnificent. heart eyes all around, tommy leveling judd in the past and in the present, pushing him to say introduce himself to grace, the three of them and charles (who i miss dearly) being a family, and the 126 coming together to support judd in the hospital. never not crying.

4. riddle of the sphynx - i think this one is pretty self explanatory. we have carlos learning to take a step back while tk takes a step forward in his sobriety, carlos learning what it means to be in love with an addict, hard conversations, and a moment of, once again, reassurance that tarlos is endgame. shout out to wes from the icarly reboot who played cooper and made me scream when he first appeared on screen.

5. bad call - i mean obviously the first carlos-centric episode has to be on the list! every single bit of this episode was perfection; we got our first glimpse at detective reyes, learned a little more about his realtionship with gabriel, the first instance of tnt being badasses (and also absolutely fucking done with these kidnappers), and, of course, "hi baby, hi baby."

6. the big heat - alexa, play fever by elvis presley. i mean. i mean. clearly. on my first watch i was being thrown back and forth on who was on whose side, which is probably what the writers wanted, and ultimately did not expect raymond to be the culprit or gabriel and owen to team up like they did. so many twists and turns, so much yelling, our first on screen "i love you." and, of course, that ending when tommy gets home. oof.

7. red vs blue - nostalgia ep, my beloved! despite the fact that i have a v small, v playful, grudge with tk/ronen choosing #2 for his jersey in honor of derek jeter because i'm a mets fan, this episode makes me wish i was still playing softball. all of the 126 is competitive, we knew that from catan, but my god was this a whole other level. and then there's nailed it nancy followed immediately by the phone call that had every single person screaming at the screen in shock. man, oh man. 8. displaced - the first instance of paramedic siblings being paramedic siblings as well as the first time the 126 really made nancy she part of the group. that tribute to tim was everything. (re: let's continue to have episode 7 of every season feature something for nancy, thanks! but maybe not episode 8 be where we hurt tk). we also had owen and gwyn sincerely breaking my heart in this episode because they just love each other so deeply at the end of the day, along with, if i'm correct, the first instance where owen actually showcased his anger. also, that mri scene. damn, tk. 9. a bright and cloudless morning - don't yell at me for how low on the list this is, but classics took over! this was, hands down, lone star's best season finale. it was epic all around, and i'm so happy everyone wound up ok. i was genuinely nervous for wyatt and judd there for a while. the prominence of owen's grief and guilt with 9/11, gwyn coming to him just like she came to tk when he needed her, the sequence of the 126 getting owen out of the rubble as he saw faces of the 252 and nypd. i had chills the entire time, and especially during that shot of paul and tommy passing owen's helmet down the line. that, for some reason, gets me more than anything else. and of course — the proposal. i've watched it too many times to count, honestly, and i'll keep doing it for the continuation of the hiatus.

10. prince albert in a can - give me all the carlos and grace teamwork! this is what we needed! carlos boxing to up in here by dmx made me scream, sure, because wow, but watching these two team up and figure out what went down on a call they were both so clearly blaming themselves for was incredible. and ask literally anyone, i jumped up and down and screamed "there she is, there's mom!" the second athena was on screen. god's plan, bitch.

honorable mention to hold the line, in which this was the first time i met the 118. i watched the episode again during my first og watch and it felt like i was visiting the 126 with them. such a great episode, i don't care what anyone says. get those crews back together!

and like, Carlos is my fave character, and all I wanted from this season was for him to have more screen time and to actually get to know him as him, aside from TK and the 126, but the storyline with Iris just bores the shit out of me and I feel awful about it but I'm not gonna pretend that I'm into it when I'm not 😂

Marjan and Paul are the best duo and we need more of them (pls give them like half of Owen's - or even Tarlos' this season sns - screen time) 😂

I hate that TK feels guilty and that Carlos blames him 🥺 especially since obviously the guy was real, nothing is TK's fault 😭

I just finished watching 126.... I don't remember too much about it except for THAT DATE! 

HOLY CRAP DUDE! I'm pretty sure I saw Marisha & Ashley both break at times, I know I did. Fave part was definitely Caleb recreating the Nestled Nook & the Spa & their respective reactions.

Anyone know where to find a Wizard friend like Caleb to do something like that for me?

5. Favorite early campaign moment (ep 1 through 18)

It's lame, but my favorite early campaign memory is when they first met. Just watching them in the tavern with a million guards up (except Jester), and then knowing that they became better people through their found family. IM NOT CRYING YOU'RE CRYING.

14. Favorite ship

Mandy, come on man. Beauyasha all day every day. Two guilt ridden people, terrified of abandonment and loss, grow as people through their friends, and then fall in love over 126 slow burning episodes. Plus Ashley Johnson and Marisha Ray are beautiful, and their characters are awesome. Plus I see a lot of myself in Beau, even her occasional douche-baggery.

21. Unpopular opinion

This probably isnt unpopular, but I just have to say this: some of you have No Fucking Idea what Queerbaiting is. Practically every playable character in Campaign 2 was queer. You had multiple gay relationships. Canon Gay Relationships. I do not understand how Beauyasha can be bad queer representation for being "too sexual," and Shadowgast is bad because they weren't "sexual enough?" How??? As if gay people are all the same? You can accept Cad being asexual, but heaven forbid Caleb and Essek dont fuck right away so they can deal with their self-loathing and trauma? I totally get if you were excited when Beau admitted to crushing on Jester and were upset when there was no follow through. But if you then spent the last year writing about the awful queer rep in CR because BJ didnt become a pair, Grow Up.  The fact that neither of the Lesbians died is a GD miracle.

27. Favorite Yasha moment.

Man. The epilogue was pretty great (I dont want to ruin it for you). But I love the dream when Yasha gets her wings in episode 105. That scene was so powerful. It's one scene I want to see animated more than anything else. And Ashley's role playing was just perfect.

32. Guarantee a one-shot.

I'm sure they'll have a UK'otoa one-shot at some point. Need to let him free and kill him.

36. Scene I've rewatched the most

Hey hi! I was just wondering if you'll make a compilation vid of the newest epi for beauyasha. Don't want to sound like I'm rushing it or anything, it's more like a question of "did the thing with epi 126 change the way you do them, eg wait until Monday to upload" or is it just that you don't have time or energy for it (totally understandable both!!). I'm genuinely just curious, that's all :) you're awesome already for the ones you did!?

Oh hey! Firstly, thank you!! Also, yes and yes to these questions. I actually just finished the video for 128 and it’s sitting pretty in my videos, scheduled and ready to post on monday just after the ep gets released! I always knew there might be a risk posting early so I decided when I started posting videos that I would respect 100% if I ever ran into trouble which happened with 126 (and honestly I expected that would be the one to do it) so I’ll be sticking to mondays from now on.

Honestly it’s nice to have a little extra time to have fun with it and gives me more opportunity to watch the episodes without worrying about missing something. It also takes away the stress of the videos growing more and more and possibly getting promoted to people who didn’t want to see anything early, which is a big weight off my shoulders because I don’t want to accidentally ruin anything for anyone even if I was careful about keeping things spoiler free. But all this said I definitely plan to keep making them so long as it’s still fun to do, and so far everyone’s been so surprisingly nice so I don’t see that changing anytime soon! :)

#it also gives me time to sleep lol #and time to figure out how to use my video editing software #because my computer is 10 years old and needs a lil extra time to complete tasks #which is v relateable

001 would have practically no defense, but high evasion. He'd also have like one major attack that uses all his EP/mana/whatever but would absolutely wreck the boss. Like the kind of attack you could only use once or twice in a fight but that takes off 10,000+ HP each time. He'd be able to restore a little bit of EP on his own by choosing to sleep on a turn, or he could just eat an item like everyone else. He would also be able to cast a "barrier" spell over the whole team that would reduce any damage taken by a certain percentage for, say, three turns.

002 would have wind/air-based attacks, because I'm lazy. No, but if he activates his jet thrusters, he'll hover in the air slightly and his speed and evasion will be significantly boosted. Average attack and defense.

003 would be the team medic, and she'd also be that team member who has the ability to scan mooks/bosses and see their HP, weaknesses, and items. Maybe she could steal items, too. Average attack but low-ish defense. Stick her in the back.

004: holy crap, this dude. High damage, higher-than-average defense, average evasion. You'd get a slash attack with the knife, some sort of gun-based thing with the other hand, and the leg missiles would do a buttload of damage to multiple enemies in a single turn.

005 would probably have the highest defense of anyone on the team. All his attacks would be earth-based, because yeah. Maybe plants or something, too. He could also deal some pretty significant damage.

006 would primarily have fire-based attacks that could do high damage to multiple enemies in a single turn. All his attacks would also leave enemies with a "burn" status of some kind for three turns. Maybe he could also attack a single foe by burrowing underground and popping up beneath them. High attack, average-ish defense, okay evasion.

007 is the team member with the ability to cast "Illusion" on an opponent. Like if he uses his special attack and it hits, then there's a decent chance the target will end up confused and attacking their teammates. And every single time you use the attack, he'll transform into something different before doing it. Otherwise, he's got average attack and defense.

008's attacks would all be water-based, because duh. He could have slightly higher-than-average evasion and high accuracy, since he used to be a combat fighter before getting cyborgified.

009 would already have higher-than-average evasion, but activate his special (acceleration) and he becomes untouchable. For three whole turns, no attacks will hit him. Furthermore, any damage he does will be boosted 10%, and there will be a nonzero chance that he could cause a "burn" status effect on his target because friction.
