Okay, imagine if they did each others makeup. And after the whole series is over, Rayman still entertains but it’s for fun rather then, well, Eden. Bullfrog is super good with makeup and just looking nice while Rayman struggles to use a hair brush lmao.

i did the height thing again but for rayman 2, specifically the pc version (minus the ending uglette and polokus, got them from dreamcast bc the pc ending map didnt load but this shouldnt affect anything). and i didnt leave anyone out this time ! (EDIT: actually i forgot one guy but theres a separate comparison at the end of hte post)

this time i didnt let them be at their original y positions (relative to rayman with the same y coordinates) for convenience

otherwise i got the images the same way as with the rayman 3 height thing more or less, but was more lenient with y rotation for the ending cutscene and didnt relocate them to the same y coordinates every time bc rayman 2 maps are weird. i also let the upscales/downscales for some things still be a thing, both axel and foutch are at 2x scale (thats why theres a bonus tiny foutch) and jano during the boss fight is 5x

i didnt get everything from the dreamcast version because ive never played it but i did get specifically this image for bias reasons

these are all the same exact height unsurprisingly. all from dreamcast btw lmao i dont have an explanation for globu's hands

the babies are in hte order of their actual object instances so enjoy the fact that theres 8 of them (the lower poly one doesnt count thats a diff object technically) but oktette is not the eighth one. also enjoy these random tiny fish

the caterpillar thingy (that they used to represent black lums in rayman kart for some reason) is confusing so i made its height the approximate height of its segments here

now the important question? Whos taller ???!!!! ok yeah its reflux no competition

you see why i didnt include any of the much taller guys in the rayman 3 height chart ! i had way too much trouble with the r2 ones already!!!

and it turns out my sheets are cross compatible bc rayman ended up the same height on both of them minus ONE pixel. the r2 one is taller but its such a negligible difference im not even counting it

using this knowledge you can just directly copy paste and compare whatever you want!!! heres a bunch of comparisons idk its kinda interesting

i have to go stand next to a tiny angry robot to showcase how much taller i am

You guys might notice that I've been a bit... inactive lately. I wanted to take some breather. I also needed to clear my mind a bit. I am gonna give you guys more content about Bullfrog and Rayman but I gotta say all my past fandoms hunting me down rn. Especially (idk if you notice) TROLLS. Now that we got a 3nd movie (they couldn't beat how the second was, my fav troll still being Trollex for some reason) but the music and soundtrack is amazing. I am trying to get over it already but don't forget that I've been in Sonic fandom for 7 years now. There are people waiting on me wattpad too lmao. I'll be having a bit more break and see where the flow is taking me. Until then, take care!

Rabbid DLC spoilers

Phantom mentioned that Rayman’s friendship with Globox is getting weaker, but the last game we seen Globox was in Legends, where his and Rayman’s relationship seemed fine, I would argue it seemed like the same as it was shown in older games (aka best friends)

Call me a conspiracist but , is that possible hints to what Rayman , and by extension Globox , is gonna be like in Captain Laserhawk?

Like the only new Rayman stuff we know for sure is gonna happen is that he is gonna appear in the Netflix show, and we got a lot of hints that this version of Rayman is going be drastically different to his game version (owning a night club and being involved in criminal activities)

Idk how close the Netflix show team and the DLC team were when making their respective projects , so again call me a conspiracist for this, but it could be that when researching roast materiel the DLC crew got a sneak peak or so and decided to implement it into Phantom’s roasting of Rayman.

The Rabbids are confirmed to be in, so it isn’t out the realm of possibility that other Rayman characters will appear. We can see in the trailer we got knock off power rangers and a pig guy (who I’m guessing is from beyond good and evil?) so it’s obvious this show isn’t going for “realism”. (As if there’s anything realistic about anime boys with hair that flows perfectly in the wind as he laser canons robo cops with his cyborg hand lmao)

I bring this up in that, there’s this frog girl (I’m assuming she’s a girl she gives me that vibe, correct me though when the show comes out) whose part of the Assassin Creed and is shown to be part of Laserhawk’s team…. But Assassins Creed never had frog people involved in the series.

While it did dabble in mythology , for the most part the assassin creed series always had human main characters, so why pick a frog girl no one knows about instead of the more well known and canon human characters fans would recognise?

unless there is plot reasons for this

Who do you know is a frog (ish) creature and has children?

Globox, the giga chad with over 650 children is who!

We also know Globox’s children can come in a variety of colours , so he could have a green baby or few

Going back to the main point of Rayman’s friendship with Globox being weak, here are a few possibilities I’m thinking:

Globox is dead because of Rayman and frog girl is out to revenge her dad

Frog girl is hired by Rayman to be his hit woman, which Globox is strongly against

Globox and Rayman’s friendship is ruined because of Rayman’s criminal activity (possibly a heist gone wrong and Globox was thrown in prison?) so Frog girl is out for justice

Frog girl has to do assassins creed job to feed her siblings and Globox isn’t able too for some reason (dead , sick or in jail?) and Rayman is too busy with drugs and hookers to care about them

And if I’ve completely missed the mark here , at least this would be one hell of an au

Throughout the song, he slowly becomes aware that this reality isn’t real, but desperately tries to hang onto this escape, continuing to indulge in his drug habits. This idea arose from thinking about Rayman dreaming of a reality where he made friends with a friendlier version of the Rabbids to cope with the Rabbid Kaiju destroying his home. It makes me kinda sad thinking about it. Once I can make animations, this is one I would definitely love to do.

hell yea swapped out my smart tv for the smaller and older lcd tv i had in my room but rarely used in there and the ps2 is actually playable on it!?!!! colors/brightness are much better and no lag/upscaling causing vertigo when i move the camera in the 3d space??? like hell yeaaaa my ps2 is playable again !!! (not to mention this tv actually has av/component inputs so no need for adapters!!) and no more ads every time i turn on the tv bc this tv is not smart and only does normal tv things!!! but yea i played about 45 minutes of rayman 2 revolution on ps2, had to adjust picture color/brightness settings a bit but otherwise it looked great and worked pretty much perfectly. most of the issues were from the controller bc all my original dualshock 2s are worn out/broken so i had to buy third party replacement. buttons are fine but the analog sticks are kind of stiff. probably just needs to be used a bit more to break em in. but still this is so great to be able to play my older consoles without shitty image quality and vertigo !!!!!! also fuck smart tvs they are awful so glad to be rid of it lmao like i don’t even need all those smart features since at least 4 of my game consoles have internet streaming service access. idk just happy with my new (old) tv setup lol

also i keep thinking about ‘’crow’s’’ bedroom in kurt’s apartment. like, he doesn’t ‘live’ there any more, but he doesn’t really live anywhere. ‘’home’’ is with nomi, of course, but he’s quite like a house-cat in that he comes and goes as he pleases. sometimes he doesn’t stay at either of those places; he’ll crash with workmates or other members of the noughts that he’s on good terms with--

-- anyways. it’s not a big room or anything, quite boxy really, but he has a lot of stuff in it, and a lot of adorably characteristic stuff at that. obviously along the far wall are the tanks that kurt ( after bribing his landlord with a large sum of cash lmao ) had installed, and they have a variety of fish in them. he has a tank of just clownfish as well, and he takes care of them the best. he cares about all of his aquarium of course, but they’re special to him. they also have lighting installed, but coloured, so he often just has the tanks’ lights on so his room is always swathed in cool colours like blues and reds and purples ( and i also have the adorable headcanon that he’ll sometimes change them depending on the game he’s playing, like fe will have purple and hollow knight will have blue and rayman will have gold / orange and so on ). one tanks has his pet turtle frankie in, and another still hosts a majority of the goldfish he saved with echo at the fair. at either side of these tanks, he has two cylindrical lamp things, quite like lava lamps, but instead of the blobs they have little jellyfish in them ( obviously not real ones but still ). they’re quite tall too so they don’t look ridiculous next to his big wall of fish.

then, unpredictably, he has a bookcase. the bottom shelf is used for storing physical copies of videogames and his switch / 2ds xl when he’s not using them. chargers and the switch’s dock and stuff can also be found there. the second to last and second shelves are full of books. most, he has read. crow isn’t an avid reader but he does it sometimes and it’s my fucking kink to just envision him sitting there with a book. the top shelf hosts some of his ‘less important’ plushies. ones he got because they were cute or he saw it and wanted it in the moment. at the very end of this long line of stuffies is a little tin. nobody except him knows what’s in there, and it has a tiny little padlock on it to keep it from being opened. the key is not there with it, and he doesn’t carry it, so it’s to be assumed that it’s that way because crow doesn’t want it to be opened. on top of the bookcase, there’s a modest little cooler and a little tv, which he can move when he wants to play videogames on it.

his bed is always fucking pristine unless he’s been sitting on it tbh. always has nice sheets, and it always smells goddamn divine, like him. he probably changes his sheets every week because of his weird thing with both perfectionism and not being able to sleep on ‘’’’’’dirty’’’’’’’ sheets because of his time in the pen. if he doesn’t change it, he does actually have worse nightmares than usual. on the bed near his pillow are his super important plushies. these can alternate. his rowlet, fatty, and his dusty plush are the current constants up there as well as clarence the clownfish. he also always has a really soft blanket at the bottom of his bed just in case. most of his plushies have a home in his closet, honestly, but organised, so he knows where everything is, but he has a few more ‘’important’’ ones on his windowsill, behind the curtain. these are the detective pikachu plushies avery got him, jelly-belly the jellyfish, which avery also got him, and a little reversible octopus plushie ( he always keeps it on the ‘’angry’’ face, though sometimes if you’re lucky you’ll catch him playing with it and giggling-- ). nobody but crow knows who he received that from.

and the little bedside table gets me man. there’s nothing remarkable about it but just thinking about this tired boy keeping his medication on there, as well as a clock and his phone, and his tags when he showers, it’s just so adorable to me for some reason, idk--

oop, just as a little additional: he has a hook on the back of his door, where he hangs that stupid-ass king-robe-looking-dressing-gown he got as a gag gift ( normally he throws out gag gifts in people’s faces but this one does make him feel fucking regal so he uses it unironically lmaooo ) and a rucksack. the rucksack he uses whenever he’s moving between places. he packs a change of clothes, his games, and a plushie or two. as of now, the plushie that always goes with him between houses is dusty.

it sounds like a lot of stuff honestly, but most of his belongings are stuffed animals, ahahaha, and it’s all perfectly arranged to fill this little room with character and adorableness. though he is quite nomadic in terms of living arrangements, he always keeps the room locked when he isn’t there, suggesting some level of possessiveness over it, and perhaps even a hint of distrust as he feels the need to seal the room that reveals him the most, as a person, away when he isn’t there to govern it. all in all, it’s a really nice space, and you’re lucky if you’re let in because he’s selfish, so he prefers to keep his things for himself. it’s also a vast contrast from the apartment he used to have, which was barren and empty, so that makes me want to cry as well phah--

cant believe i didnt post about my rayman texture pack for miney craft. mega work in progress idk when ill publish it but i will eventually

the whole point of it is i try to reference as many textures from rayman game as possible lmao (for the blocks that is, the mobs are more straight forward references such as the killer bunny being a rabbid)

heres a disorganized pile of screenshots ive taken.... ignore the early textures in some of these screenies, i just posted what i had on hand

wonder if anyone can guess what rayman thing this is based on because this isnt actually "just draw a sunflower in the style of the other textures idk". its maybe the most obscure thing in here with a basis

oh same for melons actually and the spore blossoms

Haaaaaahhhhh idk if hand-helds count but we had one of those big chunky gameboys lol, first console I recall buying that wasnt handheld was our purple gamecube!!!! rip, he isnt around present day but we have bought a new one :’) long live the cube bitch… best console tbqh

9. Last game you played?

GSDBDHHGDBNVG RAYMAN RAVING RABBIDS FOR WII QUIT…………… We’ve had it for forever and figured its so fuckin wonky and difficult but so funny we might as well beat it by now hrhfgf but, before that i seriously played a longass game of mario party 7 w my sister lmao. (I play rayman 3 pretty often and might in a lil while grhhgf)

12. Most bizarre game you’ve ever played?

A perfect tie between “Furu Furu Park” for the Wii, and my personal horrible fave, “Neopets: the Darkest Faerie”. LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING ABOUT NP:TDF… this game is a masterpiece. its the perfect amount of horrifyingly bad cutscenes, awkward VA, and glitchiness. if any of yall wanna hear the scariest fuckin funny shit about this game hmu and message me about it and ill literally just unload on you the horrors. yet its such a smoothly running game in terms of fighting and running, its just… the games retail value rn is literally like 2 dollars. ill literally BUY YOU A COPY if you want one jess im not kidding its a really important game its so fucking gold… Furu furu is literally so confusing all i remember is having like no directions and doing weird slide/rotation puzzles of random anime characters and quickly making shaved ice and it was hard as fuck. NOBODY I KNOW has heard of or played the game, i sold it off a long time ago and i think ive convinced myself it isnt real.

PERSONALITY:

My Hogwarts house is: Gryffindor Hufflepuff Ravenclaw Slytherin I am an introvert I like meeting new people (I like it when I chose it, not when I’m forced to) People tell me that I’m funny (yeah, I guess) Helping others with their problems is a big priority for me (lol INFJ, it’s a defining feature of my type) I enjoy physical challenges (*pervy smirk*) I enjoy mental challenges (yep) I’m playfully rude with people I know really well (lmao poor @mudmunkey) I started saying something ironically and now I can’t stop saying it There is something I would change about my personality (obsessive as hell and I can be a massive bitch)

MY LIFE:

I have at least one person I consider a “best friend” (I have 2 bitches) I live close to my school My parents are still together I have at least one sibling (Lol, she’s more like my child bc the 14 yr age gap, but yeah) I live in the United States There is snow right now where I live I have hung out with a friend outside of school in the past month I have a smartphone I have at least 15 CDs (K-Pop fan, ofc I do) I share my room with someone

I have breakdanced I know a person named Jamie I have had a teacher with a last name that’s hard to pronounce I have dyed my hair (many times, but I stopped bc I naturally have dark curls and that shit’s a hassle) I’m listening to one song on repeat right now (25.22 by Allan Rayman) I have punched someone in the past week I know someone who has gone to jail (bio dad) I have broken a bone I have eaten a waffle today I know what I want to do with my life (make a yacht-loads of money and open an animal sanctuary) I speak at least 2 languages fluently (English and Thai, can read Latin fairly well but constructing it is hard) I have made a new friend in the past year (YAAAAASSSSSSS DO INTERNET PEEPS COUNT BC YAAAAAASSSSS, SO MANY!)
