Sitting on the bed, William leans against the headboard, quietly reading while you finish your work. However, he quickly finds his attention drawn to you, his book forgotten on his lap.

His crimson eyes are fixed on you, intently observing every little thing his darling little robin does. He notices how you type faster now than when you first came to Crown, how you bite your lip in concentration, how you mumble when you want to find the perfect word to write down, and how your eyes shine when you find it.

He sees you organizing the pages, which means you’re done and will turn around to look at him. He keeps watching you, wanting to see the endearing reaction you’ll let out when you realize his eyes have been on you for a long time.

When you finish everything, you turn around in your chair, expecting to see William reading or even sleeping, given how quiet he’s been for the last few minutes. What a surprise when you see him looking right at you.

“Oh, hey!” you can’t help but let out a surprised sound, blinking in confusion. Then you open a shy smile, your head tilting to the side. “How long have you been staring?”

“Hmm… I wonder,” he grins, amused. “If you’re done, come here with me, my love.”

“I am!” you reply excitedly.

William doesn’t have much time to close his book and place it on the nightstand because you practically race to him. You throw yourself on him, and he holds you tight while falling sideways with you in his arms. Your giggles are music to his ears, and he joins in with his own.

You suddenly lean forward and place a kiss on the tip of his nose, and he’s the one caught by surprise this time. He is more than amused by your display of affection, though.

“My, my! What an enthusiastic little robin I have,” he smiles widely.

“I’m happy to be here with you.”

He brings his hand to your hair, brushing it out of your face to take a better look at you. His fingers slide back to your nape, and he holds you in place, so this time he can be the one giving you a kiss on the tip of your nose. His heart is full of fondness and love for you — he wonders if you know how you have him wrapped around your finger.

“Me too, my love.”

TO BE CLEAR: I am NOT claiming that this other game (Ikemen Villains) is a "rip-off" of TWST; I'm pointing out parallels between them because I think it's entertaining to see how different games interpret the same or similar fairy tales.

Please also note that although nothing I say in this post is explicit, IkeVil itself is designated as 17+ and contains dark content. If you decide you want to try the game out for yourself, BE AWARE OF THE AGE RATING AND TRIGGER WARNINGS.

ARE THESE NOT JUST J WORD IN A BLACK WIG AND CONTACTS (the last one looks like a blend of Jade's sus face + Idia's sus face) 😭 His face looks so similar… and they're both "attendant" characters that act polite but are more manipulative than they appear at first glance... (although Alfons has Floyd's hedonism rather that Jade's restraint!)

More of my first impressions of the characters of IkeVil below the cut!! Again, there's nothing explicit, I just wanted to keep this post not too bulky.

And not just him (Alfons) either, ashldbiasydefpaei there's a Trey-lookalike and a Silver pre-hair color change in the same game! Roger has a rifle and is cursed by Snow White's huntsman, so I joke that he's Rook and Trey's test tube baby... and Elbert has Vil's keen eye and desire for what is beautiful!

There are also characters that don't look like an TWST ones, but definitely have personalities that remind me of a few! For example, Liam's laid-back affability is Che'nya and Chenya Cater-esque, Jude speaks in a gruff but aristocratic manner like Leona but is a tough businessman like Azul, and Ellis seems like a mix of Malleus's obsession with happy endings + Idia's gloomy demeanor…? No clue if he actually is gloomy or not, he just gives me gloomy vibes.

Victor is Crowley-adjacent! Like they're both overseeing this group of powerful men with magic so you'd think they're serious types--but they aren't. They're silly and use their own skills to do frivolous things like doing magic tricks or making cake fancier. They also both seem to be hiding a secret...

Harrison doesn't remind me of anyone in particular, though I do see little bits of our typical "lying" characters in him. He has the chill of a Che'nya but also Floyd's flippancy and lies as easily as like... I don't know, Cater?? Not sure on this one.

abfhbyoafvadpiadgo OKAY OKAY BUT THE FUNNIEST ONE TO ME IS WILLIAM BECAUSE HE'S "THE QUEEN OF HEARTS" CHARACTER... Most of the time when you have a character with this inspiration, they're controlling and easily angered (*stares at Riddle*), but William is NOTHING like that???? In fact, he's got a strong sense of justice and often encourages others to be honest and to act freely, even if it means disregarding the rules. Every time William opens his mouth... I picture Riddle shrieking and sobbing/j

The party was nice, and the food was good. The music was pleasant, and you enjoyed dancing with William for a good while. However, when someone called for him to talk and he had to excuse himself for a while, you found yourself alone.

The quietness lasted less than a minute before a group of people approached you, inviting you to dance, chat, or take a stroll around the garden. You politely declined everyone, clearly uncomfortable with all the attention and how some of them seemed to be insistent.

Then you felt an energy, as if someone was watching you. The people around you, some persistent ones still trying to get your attention, seemed to have felt it too, as they gave you a sheepish smile and excused themselves, leaving you alone at last. You raised an eyebrow at their behavior as your eyes scanned around the room, and you found the source of that feeling.

Crimson eyes intently stared at you, their owner sitting at a table with someone you didn’t recognize. William smiled softly when you finally looked at him, and he extended his hand to you, beckoning you to come to him. You smiled and didn’t waste time following his invitation, placing your hand over his when he was within reach.

“That’s my little robin,” he smiled, his eyes narrowing slightly. “Seems like I can’t leave your side.”

You couldn’t help but notice the tone he used, as if he wanted people around to hear him. However, you didn’t have much time to think about it because he soon pulled you by the hand, bringing you to stand closer to him. He looped his arm around your body, embracing you protectively. Turning his head, William placed his lips on the side of your body, giving you a kiss on the hip, and you saw him shooting daggers with his eyes at the group of people who were around you.

You giggled and ran your free hand through his hair. He smiled at you again before placing one more kiss on your hip — just to make sure.

“Now, if you’ll excuse me,” he said to his friend. “I’m needed somewhere else.”

William stood up without breaking his embrace. His free hand reached for yours, intertwining your fingers together, and it seemed like they wouldn’t break free anytime soon — not that you minded.
