-was a pageant kid who got too old to do pageants which resulted in her parents losing interest in her as a person, nowadays shes an aspiring popstar chasing fame.

-shes very mean and standoffish and comes off as spoiled but she just was more just a victim of neglectful parents. she left her parents house and now lives with oakey in dialtown and the two have a familial bond but its unclear if theyre actually related or not.

-shes been teased with the name egghead before and Will become violent if referred to as such. the ribbon she has on the pearl necklace was the first blue ribbon she ever won. oakey has a picture of him, kara, and his late wife at one of karas very first recitals in the locket he wears.

-you find her in the casino at the bar where she assumes youre a fan of her and after you say you dont know who she is she becomes offended and determined to make you recognize her, eventually leading to her agreeing to take you to the funfair

cora (she/they) + lesbian, will only date you with a typewriter head

-is a college dropout who spends most of their time in her apartment, they work at a gas station with stephan (the two are roommates as well), you meet her in the apartments where they mistake you for a pizza delivery person and fall apart after you flirt with her

-has a younger sibling who lives in a different state and occasionally comes to visit, hes trying to become a professional gamer and sometimes she joins in on his games and has appeared on his channel a number of times

-Really wants a girlfriend as theyre incredibly lonely . her guy friends help her practice flirting and shes actually very good at it but the second shes around a gal they find attractive she becomes a complete mess

-used to nervously play with the joystick on her head like one would play with their hair. she did this so much that it eventually just fell off and they lost it somewhere in the apartment

-a bit clumsy, their screen is Incredibly scuffed up but so far shes managed not to completely break it or anything. there have been some close calls though. steph has tried to help her but he is Also clumsy and unlike them has actually broken his head in several places

this is difficult... the debate in my mind between characters i just never want to see again vs characters i think would have an interesting effect on the story. for the first one ok let me be clear i dont hate him BUT the direction dc is going w him is worrying me and id like to nip it in the bud. jon kent. the introduction of trinity annoys me bad and i hate the big three now all having bio legacies. killing jon would disrupt this i think. IDEALLY all three of them (jon damian trinity) die but not forever just long enough for dc to let them go a little. but in this case jon dying forever would also work. characters who i think it would be interesting if they died. um. ted kords biggest fan voice: can we just kill ted again? look its not like hes doing anything interesting rn... idk mostly instead of dying again i want to live in a world where he stayed dead but also this does tear at me bc i love him so so so bad. but they could have him in flashbacks and elseworlds ok... honestly im not confident in either of these anwsers cuz neither r the situations id prefer so im allowed to change my mind and edit this post later if i think of smth else. actually i know this is a dc question but let me marvel for a second. can they just kill of dylan please. i want to read venom comics again but i hate that kid

these may be matters of opinion, but even then, i'd like to know your take. i haven't read her firsthand often enough and i trust your judgement over this random redditor who seems to have some sort of blonde-woman related trauma left untapped.

I'm not necessarily the most knowledgable on her in the world, but I do know a decent amount because she's one of my absolute faves and I love her

But ohhhh boy that screenshot is a lot.

I will say that several of the things this person brings up are based in canon but are taken in the worst faith and framed in the way that makes her look as bad as possible, if that makes sense? It’s ripping things away from any context, because there's a very clear bias against her here.

I'll go through it point by point under the cut

First of all though before digging into this, I want to make it clear she was a 15 year old for the majority of the things this person is talking about. Like just pause for a second and remember she’s a 15 year old victim of abuse. That is something that I think factors into a lot of her behavior! Anyways, I kinda while doing this got into a ranty 'talking at you' format in response to the person who wrote all that, so don't take any of this as me yelling at you who asked the question/you anyone reading this.

"She always acted entitled" - Saying Steph is entitled is absolutely ridiculous to me. Stephanie grew up with a very unstable childhood due to her dad frequently being in prison and her mom dealing with a drug addiction, living in a lower class part of the city. Tim is entitled. I don’t mean that as like a bad thing about him, but he is based on his living situation, she is not. She has wanted life to be better for herself and her mom, and is determined about that, but she is not and does not act entitled.

"and stubborn" - I will give you stubborn though, that one is true. She’s stubborn as hell! I don’t really see that as a bad thing though, pretty much every bat is stubborn?

"demanding that Batman and Robin accept her untrained ass" - Steph may have been untrained in fighting but she's shown to have exceptional gymnastics skills from the start, and at one point Bruce even says that with the right training she could be as good if not better than Tim (in Robin #88)! So like... her realizing she enjoys trying to be a hero after she tried it out to deal with her personal business, so she looks to the local experts… and is determined about it… how is that a bad thing? It’s also not like she walked up to them and said ‘im perfect as i am let me in’ what she wanted was a chance to be a hero. But she also wasn't even really looking for approval, either, not having Batman's blessing was never going to stop her. ("So excuse me if I don't jump when you bark, Batman." in Robin #16) Later when Bruce does bring her in to train (and she also gets to train with the BoP) she's excited! She’s stubborn about wanting to be in the hero business, but it’s not like she’s unwilling to work for it.

"advocating leaving criminals to die because they 'deserve it'" - She’s a 15 year old who grew up knowing firsthand how dangerous Gotham criminals can be because of her dad, of course off the bat when they’re in a dangerous situation where any of them could die (because that’s the context here, this is in Robin #35 where they’re trapped in some super dangerous snow) she thinks they shouldn’t go back for another criminal who just tried to kill them and should instead save themselves. But she also literally WITHIN THAT SAME ISSUE then says she realized she learned something after listening to Tim and trying to save the guy! In the same issue! Characters in a story aren’t supposed to be perfect from the start… they learn things along the way???

"trying to steal from the shops they just stopped from being burglarized" - She’s 15 and doesn’t have a ton of money. She was gonna take two sodas, and when Tim said not to do it she paid with very little fuss. They stopped people who were robbing the place at gunpoint for prescription drugs. If you can’t understand the difference in severity between those things like… I do not even know where to start. (this situation is in Robin #56 btw)

"forcing physical affection onto Tim despite his visible discomfort and repeated objections (not even stopping when he told her he had a girlfriend)" - This one I will give you because she did cross boundaries with all that! But I do also want to clarify that she didn't start coming onto him until after Tim kissed her first (in Robin #5) while not telling her he had a girlfriend. That doesn’t excuse her later actions but for the first issue that she’s coming onto him from her perspective he expressed interest and she was just returning it! She even specifically says 'Maybe I should pay you back for saving my life the same way you paid me' (in Robin #16) before kissing him. That first time she kissed him unprompted was under essentially the same circumstances he kissed her unprompted, and she literally did not know about Ariana until after the fact. From that point once she knew about Ari she definitely should have backed off and she didn’t, that’s a very fair thing to criticize about her as a character. But Tim lead her on first, and I feel a lot of people like to casually forget that when talking about this situation. The way this is phrased of ‘not even stopping when he told her-‘ implies she was repeatedly doing the bad behavior before he told her, which is not the case. She still did bad things here but don’t misrepresent the situation.

"And lashing out at Tim, her mother, and her classmates in violent fits of anger" - Every comic book character lashes out at other people for the sake of drama like, I dare you to come up with a well-known superhero character who hasn’t done shit like that to a partner/family/friends in a moment of high tension/stress?

"She treated the girls around her like they were stupid bitches" - frankly this ones a little too vague like, I'm not sure off the top of my head exactly what they're talking about? in that era right around her pregnancy and stuff I really don't recall her being mean with other girls? I could be forgetting something I guess but the closest I can think of is a bit after this period of time when she has the confrontation with Greta in Young Justice but that was Greta attacking her first, not the other way around.

"got insanely jealous if Tim so much as expressed concern about another girl" - Steph getting jealous and thinking Tim was cheating isn’t that crazy when STEPHANIE BASICALLY WAS THE OTHER GIRL DURING TIM’S LAST RELATIONSHIP? Tim has cheated a little bit before! Tim cheated on Ari with both Jubilee from Marvel (during a crossover thing where he even mentions Ari specifically so it’s not like this was out of continuity/a setting she wasn't an issue or something) and also with Steph. While most of the kissing between them was Steph coming onto Tim which I wouldn’t count as cheating on his end, he did still kiss her which I would count. Not to mention that the jealousy thing (I imagine they’re talking about the instance with Star, the girl who taught Tim to skateboard, this arc of stuff starts in Robin #80 and continues for a few issues) is happening during the time she’s dating him while she still doesn’t even know his real name. He literally has a whole other life she doesn’t know about, and is someone who has initiated romantic moments with other girls while in a relationship multiple times before! With that in mind I don’t think a 16 (she's def 16 by this point) year old girl being kinda paranoid about how he interacts with girls he might know in his civilian life is that unreasonable? The later big instance with jealousy is the Darla situation- where Steph sees Darla kiss him and gets mad about it (and doesn’t talk to him about it) and thats what prompts her to become Robin. The important thing to remember about Steph in this time frame is that DC decided she had to die and they wanted to make her Robin first to drum up more attention for that death. They were doing ooc things with her to set those pieces in motion, and that needs to be taken into account. I think her getting upset about seeing something like that isn’t even ooc, but her using it as motivation to become Robin and not even saying anything to him about it is. In the earlier instance where she’s upset/jealous about Star, she does communicate to him what’s going on at least a little bit on the rooftop after they’d saved her. She makes it clear the thing she was upset about is that she feels like she can’t trust him because she doesn’t really know him while he knows everything about her, and that’s why she thinks he’s cheating. Her reaction to the Darla thing is not in line with how earlier in canon Steph would have handled the same situation, because they wanted her to die and needed a way to explain her becoming Robin.

"and expressed that jealousy by accusing him of cheating and throwing things at him" - I just addressed the cheating stuff but the throwing things was fucking slapstick oh my god this is a comic book for kids/teens like. ah yes this is horrible abuse in this little funny montage of how Steph wants him to leave her alone because she’s mad at him and he refuses to give her space

I don’t think anyone at DC or even in fandom would/should try to argue she’s perfect, because she’s not! And I don’t want her to be because perfect characters are boring. Steph is flawed, Steph has been compared in canon to Robin-era Jason by Cass & Bruce

And I think these highlight some of her very real flaws that are an interesting part of her character. These plus her stubbornness and determination are part of what makes her her.

And for fuck's sake the world was mean to her, and to act like it wasn’t is just blatantly ignoring a lot. A criminal father who made her life really difficult (‘when my dad was mad at me he’d lock me in the closet!’), that time she got kidnapped for two weeks and her mom had left her (a 15 year old) alone at home so long she didn't even find out it happened (in text Steph says Crystal was visiting friends, a lot of people interpret that as her mom possibly being in rehab for her addictions again), that whole thing about how one of her dad’s friends tried to sexually assault her as a child, also just how due to her dad's work sometimes criminals would be living in their house (Literally the fucking Riddler at one point!), the fact that we as an audience watched her get tortured for several days because a plan she tried to enact to prove herself backfired since Batman didn’t trust her with important information (something Selina even calls him out on in her internal narration), like… sorry but in what way is all that not the world being mean to her?

She was Robin, she dated Robin, she likes Eggplant (because purple would've looked stupid), and makes jokes. She’s also impulsive, headstrong and determined, and wants to prove to herself and others that she can be more than just the daughter of a shitty criminal, that she can actually be a force to do good in the world.

She’s a complex character, and nobody is required to like her, but to act like she doesn’t have a single redeeming trait is ridiculous. You could write a paragraph like that with the worst moments of basically any character and make them look like shit if that's what you were setting out to do.

The one thing is with steph the reason i started hcing her as black is cause i am and i really relate to her. and i started forcing my hc on my friends/mutuals and a lot of them started having it too (mostly other black fans). and with jason i know one of the big pushers of latino jason is a latina and loves jason, and the black jason hc came from a black fan. so i feel the point is really important, but we can’t ignore fans of color projecting

i totally agree with you, and that kinda wasnt my point. everyones welcome to project onto characters for all kinds of personal reasons and i super duper dont want to stop that, my main problem is with white fans looking at a character, and following their gut reaction without examining their implicit biases. like without taking a second to go “why do i see tim as asian”. is it because he’s wealthy? into tech? smart? why don’t you see him as black instead. is it because you don’t see black people as just as able to inhabit that space or possess those traits as other races? i just really think if youre going to race bend, more power to you. first of all: lets give some love to duke and cass, and canon characters of colour. then when you race bend, think about WHY you think the way you do. think about your biases before you do it.

this really applies to people who are not the same race as what theyre race bending. if you’re black and you project onto steph, thats wonderful!! please dont let me stop you. im jewish, and as far as im concerned so is the batfam. but like further than that? im out of my wheelhouse and need to be conscious of the things i say, why i say them, why i think them. i just think we need to be thoughtful (for the thousandth time)

So… we all are dead after ep.3. Ep 3 literally killed our feelings with the end and how badly Chloe and Rachel were treated by Damon.

There were some good parts, like the talk at the room or st the junkyard bout the hair or even the scenes which showed us their relationship through the years. But you know what? The game wasn't just that.

First of all, there was no need, and no need at all to have Chloe beaten up by Damon like that. Why the hell would you even show that to your players? To make them sadder tha they already were?

Also the plot was weird. In the two episodes, the actions moved flawlessly, they were actually linked. But here? Chloe's superpower is probably teleporting from night to day and to her room and then to the junkyard and then somewhere else.

After a badly moved plot, there is also the plot holes problems and the logic.

Sera was an interesting character. Rachel's real mother which James portrayed as a selfish bitch who only wants drugs. While she actually had problems but tried to move from drugs, something which makes me respect her, and also her trying to write to Rachel.

She doesn't go all 'Im your mother lol You are supposed to love and respect me now'. No no. She tells Rachel she knows she mades mistakes, but she also wants to have another chance and maybe be a loved figure for Rachel.

And then the fact that James said the drug thing was like a disease. Oh my! Did you knew that if a person which takes drugs coughs close to u u suddenly get the urge to consume drugs??? Did u knew??

Well that's shit. That's bullshit and no one can convince me overwise.

I did a project last year about drugs and it's effect on people. You know what an article said?

' Usually those who take drugs take them out of desperation and then try to bring themselves out of it but sometimes they can't. That's why they need support so they can let go of their addiction '

See? This literally says what I want everyone to know. It was brave of Sera to actually take the big step and rehab so she could let go of drugs.

If u are telling me that people doing drugs shouldn't have people near them, letme kindly remind u a fact.

Chloe smokes a joint and literally has a stash on her locker. Then she smokes around Max on Lis. Does that mean that Max should get the fuck away since maybe she too will like getting stoned?

No. It doesn't fucking mean that.

This reminds me of something from the fanfic 'The Road Not Taken' (check it out it's literature check the author's tumblr @onegirllis ). I don't remember in what chap, but Rachel says that doing stuff with Chloe (I think it was with them getting back to Blackwell) made her forget about the bad wish of wanting a joint.

And thats the real attitude. Sera had already let go of drugs like Rachel on the fic. The only thing she needed was Rachel's support and to talk with her so she could continue that way.

But leaving beside the fact that James was a total dick, I wanna say smth bout the post credit scene.

That was rude. Honestly. They said that 'Lis BtS would stay on it's own, not linking with LiS so the events happening on LiS wouldn't be shown'

And then they show u the Dark Room. Look, beside the fact we all knew about Rachel's end, imagine the new fans.

Hopeful and happy that hey, Rachel and Chloe are happy and they are continuing their life happy. But then they see the scene and they are like What the hell happened???

If they wanted to stick with LiS, then don't show the credit scenes. Don't. In LiS Rachel was someone who slept with Frank, cheated on Chloe and took drugs as Nathan told Max.

But in BtS?? God she is the total fucking opposite. We see it through the scenes. Rachel is only happy and having fun with Chloe. We see her with drugs? No. We see her mad? No.

Rachel in BtS and Rachel in LiS are probably two different people from what I think. Even the fans who played BtS and then LiS can confirm. Who the fuck changes from a sweet girl happy with Chloe to someone who slept with Frank and did drugs?

And also by this episode I got more questions then answers. Why the fuck did Rachel go with Frank? Why the fuck Frank is so angry at Chloe when he literally killed his friend so he could save Chloe? Why in the hell would Rachel change so drastically? What about Chloe and David?? And why Nathan went from happy with Samantha and Chloe helping him and him being friends with Rachel to killing Chloe?? Where does Jeffershit come in play here??

Also more questions. When did Chloe get the tattoo?? Why did she dye her haie blue out of the sudden? What pushed Rachel to do the tattoo on her leg?

Just, Deck9 everything in the game was perfect. Perfection. We all got to know who Rachel Amber actually was and her relationship with Chloe.

Why did you ruin it with the end episode? What about the kiss? Kisses don't just pass with flirting it away. What about the talk with Steph we were promised?

I just can't believe that the same Deck9 who wrote the first two episodes and the one who wrote The Tempest scene and the makeout scene are the same ones who made us actually cry when they showed us the Dark Room and left us with more questions then the fact how Max got her powers.

Idk what happened. I just know that the ep.3 while it had its good moments it was ruined by the pacing and the ending scene which made us think 'Why would Rachel do drugs when she was so happy with Chloe?'

This is all I have to say. Bye to you all and let's hope we get a second season with Rachel so the trio has each it's game.

B.A.P. Party Baby NYC 2017 Fan Account

So it’s like 80 years late buuuuutttttttt I figured I might as well write down this fan account to continue with the tradition. I’m going to put concert, hi touch, and photo together into one. Gifs and photos included, pray for your internet.

Alright, so I came into the city late the night before the concert and met my 2 friends for a relaxing night. Sadly I had to work that day so I missed some of the earlier fun. We stayed near Grand Central for a change this year. We hung out in the lounge of the hotel for a while and just joked around most of the night, a much needed precursor from what was gonna be the day from hell.

So while we enjoyed our night for bit we actually had two of our friends lining up before us that we were planning to join a little after midnight. When we were just about to leave she actually called us and told us that security had made them all leave because it was too cold and they didn’t want anyone getting hurt or anything. It was nice because it was FREEZING that night, and if you’ve never been to Terminal 5 it’s right near an underpass and next to the water, not the best combo for camping out. 

SOOOOOO onto show day!!!!

We lined up around 6 a.m. … we gave our friends a break since they stayed out. Steph, Megan and myself were nice enough to bring hot packs for majority of the line cause everyone looked like a popsicle. After the line was split up we actually got lucky enough to be interviewed for the Fomo Daily video, thank god a lot of the awkward stuff got cut out. <_< 12+hours in line wasn’t so bad for the simple fact all of our friends were in line with us.

So fast forward to concert time.

Our view.

Real life right here. I’ve never been this close for a concert of a group I hardcore stan. So although we were in the corner of the stage we had… an eventful, let’s say, evening.

I have to give props to the DJ B.Shoo cause he just had to go and pull out songs we weren’t expecting. I honestly can’t even remember what the song was but all of the people in my section were LIT. There was actually a staff… possibly manager standing there and he started to record the crowd. Where that video went, the world may never know. So he leaves after he records and then another Korean staff member shows up and stays by the curtain we’re in front of. Normal enough… or so we thought. 

The DJ’s set ends and the intro video starts playing. Cue all the craziness and excitement. While everyone is going insane over the video, my friend Megan and I both notice people appearing one by one behind this curtain and we start to lose our shit. Honestly, it was like, “Oh, I think I see someone behind there… oh look two more… SHIT THERE’S 5 OF THEM…6 NOW!” All while this staff member is laughing at us. 

First song was the Hurricane Remix. I’m not a huge EDM/House person so I can go along and tolerate it. Lol 

Next was BADMAN. BITCH YES. JUST YESSSSS. This remix is still hands down my favorite. I was hoping they were all gonna hit the choreography flawlessly like last time but alas Himchan. First he was too early and then completely forgot what the hell he was doing and actually slipped off stage while laughing at himself. LMFAO Jongup and Zelo still killed that choreo IDGAF!

After that was No Mercy and BANGX2. I honestly couldn’t even tell you what happened during this cause I was too hype. The only thing I remember was the long ass staring contest Daehyun and I had for NO DAMN REASON. NONE WHATS SO EVER and none of my friends noticed it, but it is in photo.

I’VE BEEN WAITING MONTHS TO HEAR FINALLY HEAR THAT’S MY JAM AND DO WHAT I FEEL LIVE. I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED AT ALL. I FUCKING LOVE THESE SONGS. I was ready for it, my friends were ready for it but the staff member was surprised as hell at our enthusiasm. He was thoroughly amused by us.

Dancing in the Rain is always a cute song, you can’t hate it.

The dress code pick happened next. That was an interesting 5 minutes. So, Himchan is my bias, not secrets there. I was dressed for a Himchan pick is all I’m gonna say. My friends thought it would be hilarious to SCREAM AND SHOUT for him to pick me… from not only next to me but also in other spots down the front where others were standing. -_- Guys,pls. At one point they screaming so loud and pointing at me that not only was the staff member DYING AT MY SUFFERING but Youngjae and Daehyun started to look over to our area and I had to duck and hide behind people. Let’s not ever… nah no. It was a cute little segment though, I totally would’ve spilled my drink on Himchan too if I would’ve been that close too. Them feels are seriousssss.

NEXT WERE THE SOLOS AND BITCHHHHHHHHHHH…. WHEW LAWD.

I believe it was Jongup, Zelo, Youngja in terms of order but my feels were attacked so I can’t be sure.

I have this deep deeeeppppppp LOVE HATE with Youngjae (mainly love but still) he didn’t have to come for life this way. I didn’t need it, didn’t want it, I just wanted to live peacefully that day. His solo…. I literally found the corner of the banister, rested against it, covered my mouth in amazement and didn’t move for the duration of his solo. He didn’t have to remind me why he’s bias 1.5 like that. Jesus. Also I need that studio version too.

Skydive, Young Wild and Free and Wake Me Up in a row… OT6 FOR LIFE. FUCK ME UP. They killed it and us.

Now for Wake Me Up apparently we did a little much. As if we didn’t go hard enough for the other two songs, us continuously doing the choreography got us recorded during Wake Me Up… by the staff… who also turned out to be one of their managers. At first he tried to sneakily record us but I caught him and laughed and he stopped. Then he did it again and didn’t care that we saw him. Which he then scurried to the backstage area as soon as that song was over. Yeah….

So after that Zelo came back out and take us the hormone increasing dance (2014 concert goers should remember that one). No one knew what the fuck they were doing it was hilarious.Check on starts playing and all of sudden my friends and I start to notice that BAP is gradually looking more and more to our corner, which for the most part went kinda unnoticed for the other half of the show. Now I’m not gonna say they saw it, but I can say for a fact that manager posted it on his instagram that same night. (which also took me a whole week to find ) But the next bunch of songs were the fun ones Spy, Feel So Good, Be Happy and Carnival.

They did their usual goodbye talk before performing B.A.B.Y *thug tear* That was supposed to be the end, but it wouldn’t be a BAP concert without an encore. They did BANGX2 again. 

Now it’s time for the Hi-Touch and photo op shenanigans. 

They had everyone with Hi-touch go first, they turned it into a whole damn exercise circuit. Just what everyone wanted to do, climb 3 floors, come down and go back up. But anyway…  So the panic was real guys. So the order I can remember was Youngjae, Zelo, Daehyun, Jongup, Yongguk and Himchan. Literally my death in the beginning and end.

So before we get to go up to the guys the staff is doing their annoying “phones away,” “don’t give them presents,” “hurry up” speeches. I roll my eyes and continue walking to the guys. 

Youngjae is first. Lord jesus I wasn’t mentally prepared, but my makeup was still in tact. *bless you Laura Mercier powder* He is the only dude I know that is ALWAYS ready before the damn fan that’s meeting him. He was already eyeing me before I got up to him. His usual smirk followed by a cute smile after I hi fived him.

I was actually proud of myself this hi touch cause I was able to look at and actually hi five everyone this time while still mentally dying.

Next was Zelo… he’s tall as shit… why? Anyway he smiled and I high fived him and went on to the next one.

JUNG. DAEHYUN. What’s your deal, bro?! So I get to Dae, I was prepared this year to feel close as fuck to him as always. Apparently he was not and made it obvious… VERY OBVIOUS. So I get to him and look him dead in his eyes and this boy legit goes O_O and looked shocked as al holy hell. I actually tilted my head a little and giggled at him and he kinda recollected for a second, but I felt victorious for once. 

Megan 1- BAP - 3 Years

Anyway… onto Rude Boy Jongup. So he was right after Dae and ISTG I don’t know what was going on that night but he too felt the need to look at me with a squint but from under his fringe so I was confused.

Next was Gukkie! He’s so cute and friendly at hi touches. He looked so good though, thank goodness I’m not a Guk stan. That’s like instant death.

So last but not least, Kim Himchan.

One question, just one. WHATTHEACTUALFUCKHIMCHANWHYTHEFUCK?!

We’re going to take a little mental journey to understand this. So Himchan is last but he’s not behind the table like everyone else. He’s actually at the outside corner, so if you’re walking towards him you can see him straight on not an angle. 

Ok so as I’m done hi fiving Yongguk, I turn so I can face Himchan, normal course of action right now. Would’ve been a quick go through had when I turned his hand be ready for a hi five and he would’ve been looking at my face.

Till this day this part gets me all flustered and gets my nerves going. *deep breathing*

So I turn slightly to see Himchan checking me out in the most shameless way. This man is a greaseball and I KNOW THIS. BUT NOTHING. NOTHINGGGG COULD’VE  PREPARED ME. So he’s checking me out, at least from hip/thigh area and slowly pans up to my face and then proceeds to bite his lips and smirk at me and then put his hand up for a hi five.

We’re gonna have seat for a minute cause LORD HAVE MERCY IT TOOK EVERYTHING IN ME AT THAT MOMENT TO CONTAIN EVERY OUNCE OF MY BEING.

Like… how does one act normal in this situation. Well if you’re me, you try to give off the most controlled shocked face and act dead inside so you don’t get arrested.

So I high five him and proceed to high tail it the entire fuck outta there as quickly as possible. I made it to the hallway where I then had my breakdown, still couldn’t speak and explain anything then though. 

If you had photo op they made you go allll the way back up stairs and pick your groups. Two of my friends are Zelo bias so they weren’t even gonna attempt to take a pic with each other. lmfao So we found this other group of girls and I deadass went and asked any of them if they were Himchan bias and luckily no one was. Then this staff comes over and is like “Who wants to be line leader?” I was like fuck it i’ll do it. I get to be the first person to pick a spot duh! So I tell my friends to line up behind me so they can get to their biases before the other girls and they do. So we get downstairs and we’re dying all over again cause now we’re the first people they see in the line and as soon as the group thats with them leaves, Youngjae and some of them look over at us. Great,

I look Youngjae in face again, smile and casually walked and stood in between him and Himchan. My other friends got lucky and all got to stand with their bias too. *YAAASSSS* Now, I had made it a mental note to stand a little bit away from them cause I have a butt and didn’t want to bump into one of them. All I would need to haunt me forever. Despite all my attempts, I did end up bumping into someone… I don’t even wanna know who cause I’m traumatized enough from that day, lol But a girl was rushing to kneel in front of me and I scooted back just a tad and bam… leg or something. I’ve never readjusted so fast in my life. The picture was taken and I took off in a diagonal for the gift table cause we left our stuff over there. (One of the staff was not happy about it but we didn’t care) There was amusing shit that happened on the other side with my friends Daph and Megan but I can’t even begin to get that story correct. All I know is Daphne booked it for the table while I was waiting for her and had BAP in hysterics. 

Then as we were leaving we told the manager we would see him next year and ran out of there as fast as possible.

Cats are the stars of this cuddly, delightfully random NBA meme

Every so often, when the stars align just right in the beautifully goofy universe that is the NBA internet, a particular team’s fan base concocts a meme that becomes part rallying cry, part inside joke and part homage to their favorite squad.

There have certainly been some good ones in recent years. But the league has never seen a meme as cute as this.

Every time the Philadelphia 76ers win a game nowadays, the victory comes with a side benefit that is oh-so-very internet: a deluge of photos of adorable cats.

Here’s what it looked like well, you get the picture. At this point, you’re probably wondering something like: “OK, um … cats … NBA basketball … what the hell does one have to do with the other?”

We’ll answer that very question in just one second, but first you need to understand a little bit about a certain segment of 76ers fans, particularly on Twitter. They’re goofy and all-around delightful. (Unlike another infamous Philly fan.)

They revel in rookie stud Joel Embiid finally seeing the court. They have a healthy perspective on the team’s long trudge back toward relevancy. Chants of “Trust the process” are regularly heard during home games. In other words, the Sixers fan base is quite possibly the only NBA fan base that could have birthed something as wonderfully bizarre as #RaiseTheCat.

How it started

Every meme has an origin story, and this one starts with Sixers rookie Ben Simmons.

Simmons was the first overall pick of the 2016 NBA Draft. He hasn’t played a game yet, due to injury, but he does frequently post photos of himself with his pet cats to Instagram. Photos like this one:

A Sixers fans named Dennis Grove (whose Twitter handle is @GipperGove and who posted the first tweet embedded in this article) took note. He started posting photos with his own feline alongside the hashtag #RaiseTheCat after Sixers wins. The meme movement took on a life of its own from there, according to Philly.com.

“It’s amazing how this has grown,” Grove told the new site. “Sixers Twitter is something special.”

What started two weeks ago as an inside joke among the fan base of a middling NBA team has now become a full-on movement as the world at large takes note. But this makes things simple if you happen to be a cat person in search of a pro basketball team to support.
