War Bots Story: Investigation

*Note: The following incidents have been taken from numerous Havens, cities, and towns. As such, the timeline and order indicated by the numbering may be inaccurate.

Incident #23: Commanders Calber of Haven 1 and Navea of Haven # needed a resupply of mortar shells for an attack on an Outlander Outpost. The two officers managed to get in contact with a weapons dealer who went by "Shiny Sam". They exchanged 30000 credits for a large box of mortar shells. Upon opening the box, they discovered that the mortar shells were just soup cans painted black. Shiny Sam had already fled the scene.

Incident #324: Three construction bots paid for 40 tons of bricks by supplier “Rick Scoll’s Materials.” They received a 40 ton brick instead. Having no tools to properly separate the block of stone, they attempted to contact RSM. No answer. The authorities were called shorty after. Upon investigating how they came into contact with RSM, the three bots began to argue and bicker over who was responsible for the whole ordeal.

Incident #682: Famous pop star “Harmony” was planning to host her Millennium Forward performance in Haven 3. However, in the weeks leading up to the event, nearly 79% of her tickets were scalped by internet username “cr3d1tc4rd”. Furthermore, most tickets bought from the scalper were revealed to be counterfeits. Resulting in Harmony played to a nearly empty stadium.

Incident #799: Velenna ________ and Aphrodite ________ were caught with stolen lab equipment in Haven 4. When interrogated, Velenna insulted and swore at investigators. Aphrodite claimed that they bought them from a vendor in Haven 5. She described the vendor as having white plating, a trapezoid-shaped head, a black suit, black wires in the shape of a mullet, and glasses with one lens orange and the other green. Eyewitnesses from Haven 5’s marketplace corroborated their story, claiming that the same man sold posters of "invisible" tigers.

Incident #516: An incident involving the vigilante Otto resulted in the arrest of "The Tendril Gang"'s key leaders. When interviewed by the local news later, Otto commented that the leaders seemed to be buying some sort of high-level security from a "nice-looking yet shady bot" named "Slip Jib". Otto said that the bot wore a nice colorful suit and had brown wires on his head that mimicked a receding hairline. How does it feel to be doing one of the largest Goncharov related projects? Like, the whole thing began as very over the top, but writing and filming a scene seems like the iceberg under the water. Oh, also (sorry if you’ve already answered this) what was your process for writing the script? Taking inspiration from a source material that isn’t real but still has a solid outline of what, seems like it’d be really interesting to work with. Again, sorry if you’ve answered any of these questions!!

It's honestly a bit crazy, the amount of attention this project has gotten is unlike anything I ever made before. I didn't really expect anything to happen, this blog was mostly dead in terms of traffic, so I was honestly surprised anyone even got the post to 30000, let alone its current amount of notes.

As for the script, well, I collected notes from fanart and various other posts, debated which scene would be easiest to do, but ultimately ended up writing it within ten minutes during a particularly boring seminar.

I'VE DONE IT!!! I'VE COMPLETED NANOWRIMO FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER!

I'm so proud I can't even put it into words. 50,000 words in a month. It's amazing. Last time, I didn't even get halfway and this time I absolutely smashed it and even finished a day early. Woo!!! I did it!

So it turns out that writing a project without any notes whatsoever is a really good idea for me. On my previous two items, I had all sorts of outlines and plans and character details--two notebooks full! But I didn't win with those. I won by having a vague outline that I keep in my head, seeing where the hell the plot takes me, and just going along for the ride. Apparently, it works. My word count has been fairly consistent: a couple of big spikes, but always over 1.2k words every day.

Had quite a few surprises in writing this. Spes Super Sydera is a sci-fi story but there weren't any aliens in my original brain-plan for the plot. There weren't so many twists and turns. There wasn't a disgraced ex-astronaut with a grudge, or a midnight heist, or an old friend hiding out in a mostly forbidden hangar. A vague comment in the first chapter as part of a character's introduction turned out to be an important part of the plot. One character turned from an off-hand mention to an important side character. There's a harkening back to the very first chapter when my main again sits across from three people who will decide her fate. So. Many. Surprises.

I'm not looking forward to editing it. But that's a few months off because there's still a good 20000-30000 words to write. Probably. If I keep going with this pantsing thing, who knows what it'll end up as. All I know is that I'm definitely in the last third of the book. The ending will be in sight...eventually.

Either way, I'm probably going to ride this high for the rest of the week. Hell, for what's left of the year! I've done the thing. And it feels amazing.

LOL ok this is a character I can write about First Impression: Back when I started playing AK I had no idea the brainrot it was going to inflict on me and the early writing definitely didn't prepare it for me either. I thought her design was really cool and from the early interactions I was like "hmmm.... I get an impression this woman doesn't like the doc.... surely it mustn't be that deep..." Impression Now: It Was That Deep. I think Kal'tsit is one of those characters that really really shines the writing of the game. Is her backstory insane?? Absolutely. Is it really tragic?? Certainly. Is she morally upstanding?? You bet there's essays out there I won't get into on her morality. There's so much I can say about her it's so hard to condense it into a short post. Favourite Moment: I think nearly everyone in the community will agree that The Sarcophagus Scene hits DIFFERENT. The full and honest confession about the reasons she hates the Doctor, how she fully confesses to wanting to kill them were it not for past promises she made to Theresa and for Amiya's sake. It's the first time in the game that she speaks without any coldness or emotional distance, but with pure vitriol. I love women who are violent and angry, who want to bite and maim and murder but are doing everything they can to restrain it. Idea for a Story: GODDDDDD I don't know!!! This game's lore is so deep and her backstory is so long timeline wise that there's so much I want to see. I think I'm VERY curious about the backstory behind her and MON3TR, I want to find out how she got a sickass biomechanical sentient killing machine spine. Also if the theories are true and Talos-II in Endfield is a post-apocalypse Terra, I want Kal'tsit to still be alive because I love suffering. Unpopular Opinion: "She gives too much world lore exposition!! I don't want to read 30000 words of Ursus politics" move over bitch I want to hear all of the incredible detail about how some city was founded by some guy and the paragraphs of history pertaining to it up until the present. I am a slut for hyperdetailed worldbuilding and she is the one who always provides and I love her for it. Favourite relationship: Theresa is dead but hey as Arknights fans maybe half of all pairings are with the deceased. There is no heterosexual explanation for the contents of that "suicide note":

I think immortal beings who, after possibly millennia of living many different lives, decide to devote themselves fully to a mortal who wants to give them a place they can finally call home in whatever life they have left is... idk it does a lot. Favourite headcanon: I like to think that Ada/Closure is the only person Kal'tsit has anything close to a friendship with on Rhodes Island. We've had two VN-only events with the two having interaction and just based on the way the two interact there's a clear difference in the way she treats Closure compared to everyone else. Hell, Ada is the only person Kal'tsit has been willing to share her world lore backstory secrets to (and actually tolerates her jokes!!!) Women who drink 5 redbulls and 6 monster energies a day Solidarity!

The Orion Nebula (M42/M43, NGC1976/1982) This picture shows the great nebula in the constellation of Orion the Hunter. On a good clear night, from a dark site well away from the lights of modern civilization, this glowing cloud of gas and dust can be seen with the naked eye as a fuzzy patch surrounding the star Theta Orionis in the Hunter's Sword, below Orion's belt. It is probably the most spectacular of all the objects cataloged by Charles Messier and now called by their `M' numbers. M42 had been known since the beginnings of recorded astronomy as a star, but it is so outstanding that it was first noted as an extended nebula in 1610, only a year after Galileo's first use of the telescope. Detailed descriptions started appearing later in the seventeenth century, and it has been a popular target for anyone with a telescope ever since. So many details are visible in even a small telescope that M42 will more than repay the observer who makes it a frequent target, and who will find that it is hard to make a realistic sketch that can capture all of the finer features. So outstanding is this nebula that it has two numbers. M43/NGC1982 is the separated portion to the north-east (top left), surrounding an irregular variable star. Although Messier stopped at only two, other parts of the nebula in this region have received further NGC numbers. M42 is our closest example of an HII region, being composed mainly of ionized hydrogen which gives off the red glow so dominant in every picture of the nebula. Deep photographs such as this one show that it is nearly a degree across, larger than the full Moon (although the Moon is so bright that it looks much larger). The energy to keep the nebula glowing comes from the very hot young stars in a formation called the Trapezium, embedded in the brightest part of the nebula and not visible in this photograph. The nebula and the brighter stars are very young indeed by astronomical standards, at about 30000 years. Compare this to our own Sun, which is considered to be a middle-aged star at over four billion years! M42 probably contains several hundred stars younger than a million years, still bursting with the energy of youth. Stars are still being born in a dense cloud behind the nebula, but they are hidden from our view by a concentration of dust which reduces their light to only a million-millionth of its original intensity. Fortunately, astronomers have developed special cameras and other detectors which are sensitive to infra-red radiation, more popularly known as heat, which penetrates the dust and reveals to us this stellar nursery. Although M42 is mostly hydrogen, in both neutral and ionized states, with a fair quantity of dust, it does contain significant amounts of other elements, especially oxygen. The green glow of doubly-ionized oxygen is strongest near the intense ultraviolet starlight at the middle of the nebula. To the north-east (the upper left in this picture) is a feature called the Dark Bay, which is a thick cloud of neutral gas which has not yet been ionized. and I wasn’t sleeping at all and I was literally losing my mind

so this was the thing that kept me sane (it’s debateable that it made it worse to be honest) and I- again? I’ve said I’m joining quackblr and followed the blogs but I don’t watch quackity and generally find his character cool, but kinda just that. There’s an intoxicating element of community that was here, my constant disparity rate checking, my sister made an account for voting ethos and quackity, propaganda and fanart (especially the one @toasted-treasure gave to me thank you so so much), sending asks and getting the most notes (half from my own desperate reblogging of the poll itself) I have ever, ever got in my two years and three months here

Okay. Update.

I have not expected for the last 48 hours to be as they were.

I have over a thousand new followers. My inbox is full. I have received the information that I now have the entire local theatre company's prop department at my disposal, apparently. Members of my film club have apparently seen my post on Reddit. This is, for lack of a better word, fucking insane.

So here's what's gonna happen now: I am writing the script for the scene and it'll probably be done by next week. I'll most likely start filming in early December, depending on other stuff because I'm involved in a minimum of three other film projects, one of which has a deadline.

I am gonna film Katya's death scene, because tbh I don't have anyone who looks like Bob de Niro or Al Pacino at my disposal atm, but I do have someone blonde and someone willing to do Sofia.

In the meantime, thank you for your overwhelming support and I don't need any help in terms of script writing or anything anymore.

FIFTH HARMONY EXPOSED

Isn’t this the type of headline that intrigues people? Well, here I will expose some myths that the so-called Exposing accounts go on exposing. Just declaring something here in the beginning: I love all my Fifth Harmony girls, OT5 that is, and read it at your discretion. The thoughts stated below are opinions of mine, gathered over months and years, and I firmly stand by them.

Cutting to the chase, here we go:

1)      Fifth Harmony the Band Image:

This group was manufactured by Simon Cowell on the X-Factor, back in 2012, and it broke up in 2018. On the show, Lauren Jauregui, the green-eyed white Latina was given the majority of solos and they performed songs in Spanish and garnered Hispanic fans banking on the fact that there were three Latinas in the group.

After they signed to Syco/Epic when the show ended, we saw Camila Cabello, the more convincing Latina, who was born in Cuba, get more and more solos. Normani Kordei was promoted as the “dancer” of the group, Ally Brooke as the “unproblematic one”, Lauren as the “broody edgy girl” and Dinah Jane as the “relatable Polynesian”.

Not surprisingly, Camila was the first one to do a solo venture with Shawn Mendes, the song I Know What You Did Last Summer, which, according to me, was a song to test the waters for both Shawn and Camila.

As more time passes, Camila was portrayed like the lead, not by HERSELF, but the trademark that Fifth Harmony was. She stopped talking in interviews, started doing more and more solo stuff, and even signed to a different manager. Voila, we were getting the rift in-band vibes galore.

Now here’s my verdict:

Fifth Harmony was made by Simon to not get the next One Direction, but to get the next Taylor Swift. Little Mix was already there in the U.K, and people know Girl groups don’t do as well as Boy Bands, mostly because of the inherent Misogyny in the society.

They wanted the next relatable girl next door who could influence teenage girls.  Camila being Latina, could now have an even larger fanbase, in Latin America as well as South Asia, because South Asian music is quite similar in a groove to Latin Music.

Why Not Lauren or Ally then?  Well, they were simply not interesting or Latin enough.

Why Not Normani? Do I have to tell? Those bitches are racist as fuck.

Why Not Dinah? Same thing. Less Appeal to a large fanbase.

That’s why Camila was the goofy dorky most relatable person on 5H. That’s why she readily had a high budget tour all set up for her the moment she left the group. That’s why they promoted her. 5H was never the long-lasting plan. Camila was. 5H was just an excuse to get her a strong fanbase and give Epic 4 more mediocre artists. I am really happy that Normani proved her worthiness and released smash hits as well. And mind you, this was done without Camila herself wishing for it. It was just the label’s decision.

 2)      Camila- the beauty or the bitch?

Camila Cabello is a very intriguing person to me. At the first glance, you haven’t seen a more dorky, goofy, and relatable celebrity like her, eating bananas and tripping on air. But then she starts talking about profound and deep experiences, and you go on her Tumblr and find quotes from books and aesthetic pictures. But then you see her leaked text messages and old Tumblr and all those images crumble before your eyes.

Think about this. Among the 5H girls, Dinah, Lauren, Ally, and Normani have friends outside the industry whom they talk to and hang out with. They have family they post about. Camila? She seems to have no friends apart from Sandra and Marielle Guzman, and those are the people we got the leaked texts with. What about her school teachers and school friends? Nothing.  All she hangs out with is Shawn Mendes and Taylor Swift and her mom who follows her like a hawk. She doesn’t seem to have a social life at all except for events she goes for business.

In my opinion, Camila has a pretty big secret that is guarded closely by everybody but her.

Is she racist? Yes. She was. She didn’t have any sensitivity to Black people or their struggles whatsoever. But you have to understand she is Hispanic, and not born in the U.S. And she has sort of always been a big mouth. I am from a country that doesn’t have a single black person in the near 30000 miles. We grow up using racial slurs as if it's nothing. I had to unlearn my indoctrinations and consciously undo the wrongs in my head and implement them in my actions. Bit it doesn’t undo things I said as a child. I bullied one friend of mine in middle school simply because her skin tone was darker than mine. But I was not canceled. Because I am not a celebrity. Have I learned? Yes definitely. I will never dare to act like that again because now I understand the pain of being ostracized and I recognize the struggles of black people. But that happened over time.

I feel like Camila is a changed person now, and tries very hard to educate herself. She is not perfect, but she doesn’t deserve so much hate. She deserves a second chance.  If she was indeed like that, Normani wouldn’t post a photo with her in IT on the eighth anniversary of 5H.

As far as her being a jealous bitch goes. The rest of 5H always had good things to talk about her after 5H dissolved in 2018. Lauren, the activist, even praised her. Dinah still seems pretty close to her.

Did she do solo stuff without 5H knowing?

No. If she did, and the whole not attending meetings thing happened, Dinah wouldn’t go to her Bad Things concert one day before she left the band. Lauren wouldn’t laugh with her in the VMAs like that if they weren’t friends and just work colleagues. The whole 5H vs Camila feud was planned by management because apparently shade helps sales. For both parties. Another manipulative misogynistic example of society.

 3)      Are/ Were Camila and Lauren romantically together?

All the roads lead to Rome honey. Camren has too many coincidences to NOT be real. From song lyrics to shady potato photos to weird comments and body language in interviews, I am pretty sure the Camren blogs will keep you covered.

Why does Lauren hate it so much? Why are we being invasive?

Lauren is supposed to nix it every time because she is contractually bound to do so. She needs to be the one to keep Camila’s straight image intact, although we have more than tons of evidence that Camila is anything but straight.

To everyone who says we shouldn’t force sexuality on people. Heterosexuality is not the default. Don’t force straightness on her. She never said she was straight. We’re just speculating she is with Lauren, and that’s it. Lauren just happens to be a girl. That’s IT.

Why did the nosy shippers out Lauren?

Nobody did. They just speculated on her sexuality based on assumptions. But no fan posted photos of her and Lucy from her aunt’s Facebook, because it was password protected. It was most probably intentional. Note that she shot a coming-out photoshoot with her “ex-girlfriend” Lucy Vives even before the Wedding where she was supposedly outed. Why shoot a photoshoot TO COME OUT and then hide behind the closet? Her coming out was planned as early as 2015, and so was the bearding of Camila simultaneously.

To me, Lauren and Camila are contracts bound to lie, at this moment. But they have a very grown-up and well-communicated relationship that is very sacred and private, and only the two of them know everything about it. Lauren and Camila are still related to the same contract, and this intuition of mine was confirmed yesterday. She was shooting something for Roger gold’s label. I hope the best for both of them, and I would love it if they were together. But them going public would be huge and in my opinion, detrimental to them.

4)      Who’s Shawn Mendes?

A really career-oriented artist. Shawmila is for him and his promotion only. Not his fault though. He is just a conceited boy with good guitar skills who wants to be extremely famous. I will not talk about his sexuality, because unlike Camila, I can’t trace him to anyone in particular.  But I can say this, Camila’s solo career had plans for Shawmila since the very start. I also believe it will end like Jelena and be back and forth for some time for minor promotions.

 Final Verdict:

Nobody is perfect. Don’t make this about Shawmila Vs Camren. Every artist has their struggles. But please break out of the shell of heteronormativity, misogyny, and racism. Love human beings. The 5H girls and Shawn Mendes are teenagers, now adults, who have been oppressed and manipulated by a capitalistic racist homophobic industry, for money and money only. And only the fans have the power to see the truth and choose the right stuff.

The Seoul Spring Festival was announced earlier in the year by the local government as a city-wide event taking place from March 30th to April 5th. The city of Seoul will be hosting a number of events over the course of the week, as will private businesses.

Recently, it was announced that entertainment companies BC Entertainment, Dimensions Entertainment, and Gold Star Media will all be sponsoring the festival in part and the idols on each company’s roster will be performing at one of two concerts hosted during the run of the festival. Tickets to the live concert events will cost ₩30000 each and fans unable to attend the live event can access an official live stream of both concerts for ₩15000.

ADMIN NOTES:

The time has come for our next drop event! In something of a spiritual successor to our 2018 Busan Summer Festival event, this is a week-long event in-’verse with several different varied opportunities for interactions.

Everyone under the three companies will be required to participate in their respective concert part of the festival barring extenuating circumstances such as major injury or illness. It must be cleared with the admin if you want your muse to have a plot that will keep them from participating in that portion of this event. Public activities for the event as well as the Pink Party are entirely optional both in and out of character, while the other private and semi-private activities (the cocktail party, the art exhibition, and the charity gala) will be considered optional out of character, but you’re welcome to say your muse was forced to attend by management in-character for the sake of interactions.

Activities marked “semi-private” will be open to only a select guest list, not the public, but some press may be present. Activities marked “private” will be open to a very select guest list and no press will be present.

EVENT DETAILS:

The Seoul Spring Festival takes place in-universe from March 30th to April 5th.

A number of events will take place in Seoul over the span of the week, from fun public events designed to heighten everyone’s spirits to exclusive, private events only the country’s most in-demand citizens such as celebrities and the wealthy have access to. As sponsors of the event, all three companies have allowed their idols some leeway in their schedules to participate in the festival even in their down time.

Muses will have a variety of required schedules throughout the week, but in their downtime, they’re also allowed to spend some time at the festival on their own as long as they follow the normal rules of staying on their best behavior in public. Any music shows taking place on the days of the festival can be assumed to either not interfere with what can be done that day or will be pre-recorded at a more convenient in the morning.

Outside of scheduled events, during the week of the festival, there will be sales at local shops and restaurants and smaller, special spring-themed events at cafes and parks.

The beginning and end of the festival will each be marked with a concert, for which each performer will be dressed in colors and cuts to suit the spring season. The concert set lists and styling can be found HERE.

CHOICE ACTIVITIES:

There are open events on the schedule listed below open to individual muses. This Google Form has been set up for muns to submit for the activity of their choice. At the time of posting, this will be open to one muse per mun only. All spots will be first come-first served from the time the event post goes up since choice activities will not have major career effects.

Keep in mind that canonically, companies would have final say in where their idols are scheduled, so you can request activities that your muse wouldn’t enjoy doing! These are completely optional, but can give you situations to write solos or threads about.

OVERALL:

In game, this event takes place Monday, March 30, to Sunday, April 5, but threads and other posts for this event may be started from Monday, March 23, at the time this post goes up, to Sunday, April 19, at 11:59PM EDT. Threads may be continued past the end date if needed, but must be started before then. Non-event related interactions may of course be conducted during this time as well.

POINTS AVAILABLE:

As with all events, there are special points up for grabs.

INTERACTIONS: Having an event thread with a starter and at least three replies (starter ▻ partner reply  ▻ op reply  ▻ partner reply) by the end of the event is worth 2 points. This is valid for up to ten threads.
