Something I’ve been wondering for a while now about Kaitou Boy Jokers: where is Shadow Joker in all of this?? As far as I know, he doesn’t make an appearance at all; Joker and Spade and Queen all make passing appearances, and even Silver Heart and Roko are still kicking around. His sister, Rose, is even a teacher at some sort of phantom thief school (that I have zero context for, outside of it apparently appearing in the main series’ manga, and whatever chapters that mention it never having been translated, unfortunately). But what is he doing? Did he settle down and spawn a kid, himself, like apparently almost everybody else did? With whom? Is he even still a phantom thief anymore? What does a grown-up Cyan (and I mean a proper grownup, not a 13-15 year old like in main series’ canon) even look like? We only get glimpses of everybody else, outside of Hachi, who is apparently a major character still in this series. What does the adult Shadow Joker of this possible timeline look like? Where has he been, and what has he been doing?

#my worst mistake EVER was dropping fencing #i loved it w my entire being and still do #i trained for around 7 months nonstop like a proper athlete and then the summer of that year i quit (2019) #i INTENDED to go back but the next school year after some short months there was covid and everything else rhat happened #now my right foot is persistently injured and we dont wven know what happened sometimes i just need to use arm crutches for a few days #and fencing is like ballet your age complicates things. i was great for my age back then and if i decided to compete i could have some #advantage. the next league based on age (?) starts at 17 #now id have to complere with adultss (since i will be 20 soon) and theres not a cap on the upper age limit there. AND since fencing is #very much dependent on the individual as long as youre doing fine (which. believe me. if youve been fencing for a long time youre gonna be #doing great at 60) theres just. DECADES of experience id have to keep up with #i miss this shit so badly

not to blame everything on someone else but the pandemic truly made me forget how to study. i have never been the same ever since i finished my 2019 university year.

#it made me a lazy student. it made me one that has more trouble focusing on things than ever. not to mention mental health in general #but like. i spent practically all of 2020 with very minimum uni work/exams. then 2021 was better but still exams were virtual. #and you have no idea the effect it had on my brain. this year i started taking exams for real again ever since 2019 #i had to memorize things. learn stuff before deadline. i couldn't rely on exams that had 1 week to be done and send via email anymore #and that messed with my time management issues so much #not to mention work (which luckily is something i can do from home. but still takes time) #i honestly forgot how to study #i have an exam in ten days and three years ago by this time i would've learned everything and i'd only be revising #now if i say i've learned 20% i'd be generous
