would not care if he had a full schedule, he would go to find you in the hospital.
when he sees you in the hospital bed with bandages around your neck, he would be too concerned to get mad that you didn’t tell him.

if he finds out it was because of him that the anti-fan attacked you, he would be very apologetic and upset with himself. He would never forgive himself if you got hurt because of him.

however long you need to go on hiatus, he’s there as much as he can and he makes sure that you know that you’re loved so very much.

when the doctors finally tell him you’re okay, he collapses in relief and with Mingyu’s help, he makes his way to see you.
he wouldn’t leave your side even if he had a schedule to do, and sometimes he’d have recurring nightmares of you being stabbed
when you go on hiatus, he follows.

summary: she's always loved country music, he was raised by two country haters. what could go wrong when he's dragged to the local country bar and sees her in her element?
a.n. i have no idea where this is coming from. call it the alberta girl in me but god have i grown to love country music. as always, this is completely self indulgent, so enjoy my dr pepper fueled rants about luca, loves <3
this was the opposite of what luca had in mind for a fun saturday night. he was thinking a drink at skeeps, maybe some bowling if they weren't feeling a bar. the last place he expected to be dragged to was this dingy country bar just outside the city, guys in boots and jeans and girls in those tiny denim shorts and short tank tops screaming 'here for the party' at the top of their lungs. most of the guys had found someone to pursue, most of the girls counting themselves lucky to be hit on by the hockey guys in their matching cowboy hats.
except for luca. the sophomore was nursing a beer and basically throwing daggers at rutger with his eyes from across the bar. it had been rut's brilliant idea to check this place out and now that they were here, luca couldn't wait to leave. he was tired of watching rut and his girlfriend two-step, wanted to throw up every time ethan made another girl laugh. it didn't help that he hadn't seen one girl he wanted to talk to.
"you look bored out of your mind." he looked over and almost fell out of his chair. the girl who spoke was sporting an amused smirk, hair pulled up out of her face. she had those goddamn shorts on and a tank top that read 'gas, grass, or ass: no one rides for free' that was just a little shorter than it should've been. he could feel himself eager to talk to her, to know who she was.
"i'm not much of a country guy."
she quirks an eyebrow. "no? funny, you seemed to really be enjoying yourself."
his laughter comes easily, trying not to notice how she slides closer to him when he speaks next. "it's not that bad, i guess. i was just raised to hate it so i don't know if i could ever truly like it. plus i'm a terrible dancer and that seems to be what everyone's doing."
he knows he's fucked when she holds out her hand. "i'll teach you. i've known how to two-step since i was a toddler, city boy, you won't have a chance to embarrass yourself if you follow my lead."
he takes her hand, allowing her to pull him up off his seat and towards the dance floor. he flips dylan off when he wolf whistles but it just makes the girl in front of him laugh loudly. once they're on the dance floor she turns to him, guiding his hand to her waist and putting his other in hers.
'big green tractor' starts to play, making a soft smile play on her lips while she guides him through the movements. it's a slow song and it lets him pull her closer, gaining a bit of confidence as he realizes just how easy it is. they introduce themselves to each other, quietly talking about basically anything under the sun while one song passes, then two. he learns that she's from tennessee, her favourite colour is lavender, that she loves football and has three older brothers. he tells her about hockey, his brother, his favourite restaurants around ann arbour.
they’re sat at a table after their dancing, still talking. his hand has made it’s way to her waist and hers is tangled in his free one, and they’re so close luca knows he could just shift a little and get her lips on his.
“what’re you thinking about, lu?”
his mouth shifts in a small smile. “‘m thinking about you, of course.”
she blushes lightly and stands. “i need a drink. do you want anything?”
he nods, giving her his drink order and laughing lightly when she takes his hat off his head and places it on her own before sauntering up to the bar.
“dude, you are so getting laid tonight.”
luca rolls his eyes at ethan as he comes up to the table. “i don’t know what you’re talking about.”
he narrowly dodges a smack to the head. “hey! what the fuck was that for?”
“there’s a rule, dumbass.” ethan sighs when luca stares at him blankly, tapping his own cowboy hat. “wear the hat, ride the cowboy.”
luca’s eyes widen in realization, turning his gaze to his the girl at the bar. “you really think that’s what she wants?”
ethan’s mouth tilts up. “i think so. i also know it’s what you want, you’ve been practically drooling over her all night.” this time ethan dodges a smack as he laughs and walks away.
“what was that all about?” she asks as she comes back over, handing him his drink and sliding in beside him again. he shakes his head, wrapping his arm around her waist and tugging her closer. “nothin’. hey, do you want to get out of here?”
her eyes widen as they turn on him. “yes. do you?”
he nods, adjusting the hat on her head. “wear the hat, ride the cowboy, yeah? i think you should own up to your rule.”
her mouth tilts to the side in a smirk. “well i’m nothing if not a rule follower, city boy.”

My question is, how did you grow to be comfortable enough to share them in public? And not just Naruto posts, do you have any tips on being more comfortable with oneself?

Hchxuxz this is probably going to be a ling answer but i’ll try my best not to write you an essay.
First of all, it took me years to grow into being comfertable sharing my headcannons. When i first joined tumblr i was in the marvel fandom and it was very open ended but not really the best for feeling like you could be free with your headcanons.
I explored things like my own gender through the character of Hawkeye (Clint Barton, hence my AO3 name) and it was hard at times because in that fandom if people don’t like what you’re doing they say so and tbh there’s so many marvel fans that it’s overwhelming
But then I joined the star trek fandom. Because of the premise of star trek (diversity and tolérance) it was a lot more welcoming. People wanted to read about my trans McCoy headcannons and I got to read headcanons i hadn’t seen before (like Trans Uhura, Pan Spock, etc. Things i’d never thought of) and it really opened up my idea’s and allowed me to explore even more.

Not just fabdom helped me though. Space had a lot to do with me finding myself. I was lucky enough to live in other countries away from family, which gave me the freedom to explore who i really am and who i wanted to be. My husband and I were living in Israel when he first told me he was Bi and I told him that i thought I might be androgynous (my gender has changed since then as i found more comfort in myself, but it was a damn good starting point)
The big question though: how did I grow to be confertable enough to share my ideas
Marvel fandom helped me a lot with this. Even though i did leave the fandom, it was my first real experience with people getting mad at me for my takes and at first i let it get to me. I got genuinely upset.
Then when I started tompull away I realized i was letting it affect my real life. I was getting upset with my friends and my husband, and I wasn’t ok with that
I didn’t want to be that person
So i stepped back, took a breath, and thought ‘why do i care?’
I’ve been bullied my whole life for a variety of things. From being a ‘tomboy’ (gender non-confirming) to liking the wrong things (star trek and stargate fan in junior high and naruto fan in high school) to having shit spelling to just… being myself
I got tired of letting the bullies win and decided that I wasn’t going to do that anymore. Sure they could have their say and try and tear me down, but at the end of the day I have love and support and that’s what matters

I became comfertable sharing my reality and my headcannons simply because i stopped carinh about what others think. If they get downright rude and insulting i block them.

Other people matter, but their opinion’s stop mattering when they start tearing you down. No one has the right to tell you what your reality is. No one has the right to tell you how you should feel.
I found confidence because i realized other’s only tear you down to make themselves feel good. Stop letting them have that win. Stop giving then that confidence boost at the cost of your own confidence

So, You Just Turned 18/Just Moved Out: Free Financial Advice From a Banker Pt.3
My continuing series on helping those just starting out to get a good grasp on their finances, how banking works, and making informed choices.
So we've already talked a bit about overdraft fees and NSF fees, but there’s a lot more ways that banks can nickel and dime you if you're not aware of the fees and activity avoid them.
**Major changes are in the works currently within the government that may help eliminate these fees at American banks, so while at the time of writing these are all common pains in the butt, some may not be around for much longer.**
Lets talk about common bank fees:
Overdraft and NSF fees:
Bane of every poor person’s existence. These fees are charged when your account is used for a transaction and the account does not have enough funds to cover it. Generally the charge is between $20-$35 EACH TRANSACTION.
Deposit Item Returned Unpaid:
Just like it says on the tin, these fees happen when a check that was deposited into your account is returned unpaid. This is usually caused by a bounced check, but can also happen for a variety of other reasons including fraud, a missing signature, stop payments, ect. Typically banks charge $10-$15. These fees always feel particularly icky because YOU aren’t the one that did anything wrong!
ATM fees:
These are the sneaky fees! Most major banks have their own ATMs, and those ATM’s are free to use by members of that bank. However if you use another bank’s or company’s ATM you may be charged a small fee by your bank for cheating on them with another financial institution. It’s usually between $2 and $5 and it’s easy to nickel and dime yourself if you’re snagging $20 3 days a week to pay for lunch on the way to classes or work. But here’s the other thing.... the ATM may also charge you to use it if you’re not part of its bank. And this may be between $2 and $10. That could be up to $15 to snag $60 to go out partying. Boo!!!
Wire fees:
Whenever someone tells me I can ‘just wire them the money,’ the first question I ask is, “and will I be given reimbursement for the wire fee?” The answer is always no... So it’s important to know that your bank will likely charge you to send wires. Typically this is around $30-$40. And here's the real kick in the pants... Some banks charge you to receive wires as well! It’s usually about half what they charge to send them.
Statement Fees:
In the digital age banks like to save on both postage and paper by producing your monthly statements digitally. If you want physical copies mailed to you it may cost you. Typically is’s around $2-$5 a month for banks that charge for it.
Copies of checks or old statements:
Many banks charge a so-called Check Image fee if you request a copy of either one of your own checks that was cashed OR a copy of a check you deposited or cashed yourself. Typically these are $5 or so each. The same applies to requesting printed copies of old statements. It should be noted that banks are only obligated to store this data for 5 years. Anything beyond that is up to the bank itself. To save yourself money online banking usually allows you to view, save, and print these items yourself for free!
Foreign Transaction Fee and Foreign ATM fee:
Near the border or planing a spring break/vacation trip outside the USA? Be aware that the majority of financial institutions will be charging you extra for swiping your debit card outside our borders. Typically this is set as a percentage of the purchase. For example, Wells Fargo charges 3%. So that $100 snorkeling adventure in Cancun is actually $103. The ATM is actually sometimes even worse because they may charge a flat fee + and international percentage fee at the same time + the ATM is 1000% likely to charge you as well. If you need to get cash outside the country it’s wise to get it in large chunks to avoid extra gouging. If your college plans include a semester abroad you may want to look for a bank that offers international friendly cards.
Excessive Withdrawal Fee / Reg D Fee:
This fee has a couple names depending on the bank, but basically if you debit or transfer funds out of a savings account more than 6 times per month it’s against Federal Banking Regulation D. And the bank charges you a fee for that. Usually around $12-$15. And if you do it too many times they’ll convert your account into a checking account whether you like it or not. (It’s worth noting that moving money out of a savings account using an ATM or at the branch does NOT trigger one of your 6 uses, so there ARE ways around the fee)
Stop Payment Fee
Quit your gym but still have 4 months on your contract? If you place a stop payment on your card or account thinking that’ll stop them getting your money it MIGHT (or might not, but that’s for another guide) work, but unless it’s part of an actual dispute or fraud claim situation, the bank’ll likely charge you for it. These fees can vary widely, from $10-$40 depending on your bank. But if your contract was actually up at the gym and you’ve tried to quit but they keep charging...get yourself a dispute or claim filed against them and the stop payment should then be free!

MY FLIGHT JOURNEY WITH LUFTHANSA AIRLINES

Allow me to elaborate on one of the most memorable flight experiences from South Africa, to Germany, to Poland, and my first flight experience with the largest German airline, Lufthansa.
*Departure Cape Town, South Africa to Munich, Germany:

I’m in a metaphorical stage and I’m vulnerable, why would he flirt in the first place right? I’ll assume that he was the nicest immigration officer apart from the one I had in Spain. Oh boy, that’s a story for another day.

(1) I’ve never been to heaven or Oklahoma. But I do like The Beatles. (I make corny references to songs and movies in a regular conversation all the time. LOL.)
(2) When I was about 7 or 8 years old, I misspelled a word once because I had copied the way my father spelled it. My teacher marked me wrong and told me my father was WRONG! I talked back to her … in defense of my beloved father …and was sent to the Principal’s office for being rude and discourteous. (Although the principal laughed and said she understood because she knew my dad. However, she still had to punish me because I couldn’t be allowed to get away with talking back to the teacher in front of the other students. I took my punishment defiantly and proudly. ) About 10 years later I visited my father’s country and what do you know? That’s how they spell that word in his country. So! My dad was RIGHT!! I felt so vindicated. LOL. Wish I could have shown my teacher.
(3) Growing up in Miami, Florida, I experienced a lot of hurricanes. The hurricanes did not upset me. What upset me was the fact that the names of the hurricanes were all FEMALE. I never complained openly about it though. But I guess somebody complained because when I got older they started giving the storms MALE names. Hurricane Bob (1979) was the first hurricane with a man’s name. (Fun Trivia) Bob was not a memorable storm. Hurricanes Cleo and Camille KICKED BUTT!! I remember them!
(4) We have several video games in our house. I have never played a video game. Not by myself or with any of my kids. I don’t know how to work the controllers. LOL.
(5) I had a father, 7 brothers, 1 husband, and 5 sons and to this day, I do NOT know how to tie a necktie. Frankly, since I wasn’t going to be wearing them, I never saw the need to learn. Besides! Why should I bother to learn? They sell those clip-on neckties with the tie knot already done. That was my flawless logic and I was sticking to it! Then one day, one of my daughters said she was putting together an outfit that reflected her personality. She asked if she could borrow one of her dad’s neckties and if I could help her tie it. I sure didn’t see that coming! She had to figure out how to tie that tie herself. LOL.
