I gained some weight over the pandemic. As a result, I lost most of my wardrobe. Being a Body Positive Girlie(TM), I thought, Well, that's fine, I will save some money and do a big shopping trip and redo my wardrobe!
I just came back from the first attempted shopping trip and I couldn't find one plus-size tank top I liked.
Knowing the issue is the fashion industry, and not my body, isn't helping much right now
I know like conceptually planes are awesome because hey we managed to lift this gigantic heavy object into the sky? With people in it?
But sorry not sorry, as a mode of transport trains are just superior. Better for environment AND you don't feel like you're in a tin can. You can get up! Take a little walk! Look at the landscape!
I'll pick the train every time if it's even remotely viable.
Everybody always talks about physical traits among other genetic stuff that you inherit from your parents but I never see people really mention the weird habits and quirks that you pick up from them. Reblog and put in the tags a niche interest, habit, or funny quirk that you picked up from one of your parents, I'm so curious :0
(and don't feel obligated to reblog if you have really negative relationships with your parents! this post is meant to be for fun, not to bring up any trauma)
Jennifer: I realize that it is not your favorite thing to sit through six hours of Wagner. So have I thanked you enough for getting the opera tickets?
Jonathan: Oh, yes.
Jennifer: Have I?
Jonathan: Yeah.
Jennifer: Are you sure?
Jonathan: Uh huh. And I never get tired of the way you show your appreciation.
Jennifer: How do I do that?
Jonathan: Uh huh.
How would light react to a flustered or blushing L and vice versa
It probably depends on the situation and what L is being flustered about! But since Light is normally intent on finding some sort of emotional tells or "weak spots" in L, and if L was blushing because of Light's actions, then he'd probably be feeling smug about it and thinking something like:
"Heh, he's blushing. You can pretend to be unbothered all you want, Ryuzaki, but I know the REAL truth. I definitely have to keep doing (whatever he's doing to make L blush)."
BUT! If Light saw L blushing about something he found a bit lame to be blushing about and/or that has nothing to do with him (like Misa flirting with him), I think he'd find that kind of disappointing, or maybe even get a bit irritable and jealous about it (not that he'd likely recognize it as jealousy, he'd just be like: "Hmph, seriously? I expected L to be above being affected by such shallow/stupid things").
no but the way that m3gan starts with that fake furby commercial that throws you off for a couple seconds until you understand that yes the movie has begun is truly the moment where i went oh i'm about to watch something fun
