In the myth, Buddah puts a magic circlet on Monkey's head so that Tang Sanzang (or tripitaka depending on the translation) can control him from goofing off too much. Very intriguing in how they might use the circlet in the episode

If you're curious Dice is Zhu Bajie (Pigsy), Gentaro is Sha Wujing (Sandy) and DoHifu is Bai Long Ba which directly translates to white dragon horse. Because thats what it is, a shapeshifting dragon who took the form of a white horse. Rip horsey

THe multiplying of Ramuda is another Monkey power which is that he can transform his hairs into clones of himself. very fitting for Ramuda The answer to the question of if Monkey would fuck his own clone is undeniably yes but would ramuda?

They're also sitting on the palm of Buddha, a very instrumental place at the very start of Journey to the west. It speaks of Buddha who challenges Monkey to jump out of his hand but when Monkey tries, he realizes that Buddha is infinite and there is no escape from even his nail. This is how Monkey gets trapped eventually leading to his addition to the tripitaka's party

Dndads and The Owl House crossover

(this is long and rambly, got the idea from @harveylikestoart (hope its okay that i did this) and had to write my thoughts down, idk that much about toh lore so this is probablly inacurate but oh well here we are. This was not reread after writing so there are probablly spelling mistakes, but who cares. Hope you like it)

Oak vale used to be filled with wild magic, but after Autumn tried to attack Barry he put glifs on everybody (he did one on himself but it is fake, think Glimmer from mlp) probablly for the plants coven.

Henry doesn't have a glif, (he never went to a magic school) he mostly does plant magic, healing, and others, i think him getting out of oakvale would be a portal to either earth or to a diffrent part of the boiling ailes and it screaved up his memories and magic so he coudn't do it for a while. If were doing diffrent part of boiling ailes then Mercedes is a bard (im pretty sure she does classical music in canon), Lark and Sparrow use wild magic of course. They are in many diffrent courses (at first in exacly the same ones but later they divulge). The oaks palismen are birds. Hildy was from the human realm and got teleported to the boiling ailes and lived there. The hatch stuff would be a time pool maybe?

Glenn mostly uses Bard magic, ( he was in the bard course at school) a bit of illusions, and potions he never got a glif, uses wild magic. Hodie definitly is part of a coven thought, and so is Nickolas. Glenns palisman is a rat, (nick jr of course) and he got it later in live. Nick would be in the Bard course at hexside, maybe mixed with abominations? Nickolas was in abominations (so was Jodie and he is in the abominations coven cuz you know cop) but later does multitrack into the bard course. Meryl is a Bard, he didn't join a coven and lost his fame.

Stud was in construction but wanted to become a Bard. Willy uses every magic type. Ron learned a bit of everything, (he was in potions at school probably) he doesn't have a glif. He mostly does illusions and beast keeping. He was never good enough at magic in willies eyes. He was a late blommer. Wanted to get a palismen, got the supplies and make it with his dad but willy "died" and he never finished it. Terry is in abominations and oracle tracks. Samanta is in healing (im pretty sure shes a counselor or therapist i don't remember, so i think it fits).

The Wilsons are hard for me, i think Darryl hase a glif (probably construction?) and so does Carol (idk what it would be tho) they got them pretty early. Frank was also in the construction coven. Grant started in construction but swiched to abominations. Paeden is a grim walker (the thing that hunter is). He kinda just apeared and he joined hexside, he got adopted by Walter but spends a lot of time at the wilson household for some reason. He is inconstruction and abominations i think, but he always visits other tracks.

Normal is doing multitrack, he has trouble deciding what to do (Sparrow joined the plant coven as an adult and wants him to just pick one) he enjoys illustions. Rebecca is in potions (does food/ice cream count as potions? Idk).

Link is in healing. I think the Grant got a glif but it is fake so he still has all his magic.

Scary is in oracle, abominations and beast keeping, and she does some bard stuff on the side.

Taylor is in illusions. Nick never got a glif, Cassandra is a bard.

i find the pictures on pinterest mostly i search for japanese illusts or commercial images, old japanese posters. sometimes i look for it by typing color names or genre (related to the characters im gonna make layouts about) i think of the characters or shows for example for denji(csm) i would use chainsaw,cigarettes,flowers, bread or jam, pochita related images and mix them up together. i think of the character traits while making layouts about them.

i edit collage those pictures by using CANVA app ( can be used on mobile or pc) i make a canvas 3000x3000 pixels ( makes the quality better) and add 3 image frames next to each other and i add the images so they look like a single layout we use on tumblr. << ( like the pic i added here, i use this one for the bottom part of the whole layout)

i used to get around 200-300 likes when i first started making layouts i didn’t know anything but by experimenting stuff and getting inspo by others i got better eventually. now I'm on hiatus because of personal reasons but i miss making layouts time to time. always feel free to ask me questions about this topic. i will answer them gradly.
