Jamie ingratiating himself with Roy's family, the most important people in Roy's life. Jamie calling Isaac his best friend just to make Roy jealous. Jamie annoying him and teasing him, knowing exactly what to say to get a reaction out of him, delighting in every scoff and groan. that scene was unbelievable and I watched the entire thing with my face in my hands.

gracie loves hockey because of trevor being on the ducks, but unlike her brother and father (a former assistant hockey coach) she didn't want to pursue anything sports related, and instead began posting singing videos on youtube and tiktok where her own fan base grew.

just like her gift to sing, she's also an amazing dancer having been put into dance lessons when she was younger just so she would have an after school activity while trevor's was hockey.
she has said before in many interviews that she's a big ducks fan thanks to her brother and jamie, but she has a secret soft spot for the devil's when they play along with some of the other teams that she has friends from.
because they're always busy with their careers, trevor and gracie always have "sibling dates" where they spend the entire day with each other and they take turns picking what they do on the days that they get together.
luke finally asked her to be his girlfriend on her birthday july 4th of 2019.
trevor and jack are absolutely pissed (not actually) that the two kept their relationship a secret from the two of them, and after that they would always refer to each other as "brother" for a month straight before everyone was tired of it.

Roy looked around seeing that everyone had stopped dancing, watching as you storm your way out of the ballroom. Eyes were glancing between your retreating and Roy's stunned look. He groans to himself and mumbles, "Fucking hell," promptly stomping his way out of the ballroom to follow you.
"Hey!" he calls out to you but you're ignoring him, "Stop!" he hollers again, following you to the gardens of the estate.
"Fuck," he grunts, picking up the pace and catching up to you, "Will you slow down for a moment?"
You whip around and push him back, "I've had enough of you!" you're seething, "Ever since you arrived, my world had revolved around you but not by choice! I'm tired of people telling me what to do. I'm tired of having this pressure to be with someone who doesn't want me! I'm tired of all of this!"
"Do you love Goodman?" Roy calmly asks.
"What?" you look at him confused.
"Because if you don't, then you shouldn't be with him. You deserve someone who makes you feel like you've been struck by fucking lightning. Someone who you're excited to be the first thing you see when you wake and the last thing before you sleep. You deserve someone who will worship the ground you walk on, but also someone who challenges you. Someone who admires your tenacity and passion. Does Goodman do that?"
You stare at him in silence and so he continues, "You think I don't want you, but I do. God, I want you," he states. He pauses to wait for any kind of reaction but you remain silent, "Ever since I came here, you're all I've thought about. You've consumed my every being. You've brought life back into me...but I don't think I'm a good enough man for you. I don't think I deserve love and I struggle to let people in. But every time I see you with Goodman, I think about how much I would regret not even trying to fight for you."
"I'm sorry I've hurt you and caused you so much distress since arriving to Richmond. That was never my intention. If you want me to fuck off, I'll obey your wishes. But if you care for me just as much as I care for you, I will do anything you ask of me."
You stare at Roy in silence. You're completely stunned by his outburst of a confession, but hearing his love and adoration for you...it stirs something in you.
You immediately grab Roy by the lapel, pulling him to press your lips against his. He's taken but surprise but then you feel his hands cup your face. His lips moving against yours in the heat of the moment causing a fire to burn in your belly. You feel absolutely consumed by him in this kiss until-
"Y/N L/N!" your mother screeches and you immediately pull away, lips swollen and slightly out of breath.
Your mother is followed by your father, Keeley, Jamie, Jeffrey, and Clara. Your father is trying to calm your mother as she bounds towards you in a furry, "What on Earth do you think you two are doing?! Such a scandal!"
Roy steps forward, "Ma'am, I'm sorry-"
"You'll have to marry now!"
Your eyes widen, "Mother-"
"No! There's no choice now. You have to marry Lord Kent because if word gets out that not only you two were unchaperoned but also found in such a compromising position, you'll be ruined! Not to mention the disrespect on Mr. Goodman!" she gestures to Jeffrey and he looks at you with sympathy, but no malice. He gives you a nod and mouths, "It's okay," which already lightens the load on your shoulders.
Roy clenches his jaw, straightens his back and says, "I'll marry her."
You whip your head to Roy and you look at him in surprise. He completely turns to you and grabs your gloved hand, "I meant what I said, Y/N. Truly. If you'll have me, I will do anything you ask of me, anything to make you happy."
You find yourself breathlessly nodding, "I'll have you," you turn to your parents, "We'll marry."
Your mother nods in satisfaction, "Good. We'll be taking our leave then," she immediately grabs you by the wrist and starts dragging you away.
Roy then steps up to your father, "Will you be available tomorrow afternoon to discuss affairs, sir?"
"I will, my Lord."
Roy nods and sees to walk back towards the house leaving behind your father, Keeley, Jamie, Jeffrey, and Clara.
Jamie claps Jeffrey on the shoulder, "Sorry, mate, looks like that courtship isn't happening."
Jeffrey shrugs, "As long as she's happy. However, I thought her and Lord Kent didn't get along."
Clara sighs, "It's complicated, but it seems they've uncomplicated it...finally."

You don't listen to your mother as she scolds you throughout the entire ride back home. You stare out of the carriage with a small smile on your lips. The lips that Roy kissed.
Your father, noting the dreamy look on your face, sighs and places a hand on your mother's lap, "Darling, I think that's enough."
"But-"
"I'm not sure why you're upset, honestly. You wanted them to be together, yes?"
Your mother huffs, "Yes, but I didn't want it to happen so scandalously!"
"The only people who found them were us and her friends. I doubt they'll tell anyone."
"But-" your father gives her a pointed look and she drops the subject. She looks back at you, also noting the look on your face and she's no longer upset. You look so...in love. Your mother hopes that Lord Kent will keep his word and do everything to ensure your happiness.

When you arrive back home, you bid your parents good night and head upstairs. However, instead of going to your room, you head straight to Cece's.
You slowly open the door and peek in, "Cece?" you whisper.
You watch as she rolls in her bed, "Y/N?" she sits up, rubbing at her eyes, "Is something wrong?"
You slip into her room and sit at the edge of her bed, "I have some news that I think you'll like."
That seems to wake her up as she sits up in bed, "What is it?!"
You chuckle at her excitement, "Roy and I will be getting married."
Her eyes widen and jaw drops, "What?! Really?! Tell me everything!"
You giggle, "I will but let me change and I will come back and tell you everything."
She groans, "Y/N! No! Tell me now! I've been waiting for this for months!"
"Fine, fine," you pull your young cousin close and tell her the events of the night. She was squealing and jumping in her bed.
"I knew it! I knew it! I told you he loves you!"
"Ssshhh!!" you pull her back down, "Mother and father will be upset if they knew you're awake!"
"Well, that's your fault for waking me!"
You softly smile at your cousin, "You should go back to sleep now."
"I can't! I'm too excited to talk to Phoebe about this!"
You quietly laugh, "Well try your best to go back to sleep, hm?"
"I'll try," Cece says as she slips back under her covers. You pull them up to her chin and you kiss her head. As you walk back to her door, she calls for you, "Y/N?"
"Hm?"
"I'm glad you and Roy are finally together. Now you live happily ever after."
You nod, "Thank you, Cece. Good night," you exit her room and softly close the door behind you.
You let out a deep breath and head to your room, ready to sleep after such an eventful night.

okay I’ve refrained from posting my thoughts on the ted lasso finale until now in the interest of making sure they’re expressed properly so that people understand how correct my opinions actually are. but I’m here and I’m queer and LET’S DO IT FOLKS:
TED LASSO FINALE THOUGHTS
THE GOOD:
Nate!! Nate was a timid, sweet note in this episode. It was such a gentle little reintegration of his character back into the team and seeing him get a secure happy ending after all that time of insecurity was the part of the episode that provided the MOST payoff. Seeing Nick Mohammed’s post about Nate and his family life and understanding how much he put into that character was so beautiful to see too. I adore actors who very publicly (and in a nerdy way) love their craft!
His conversation with Ted also made me cry like I have never cried before.
COLIN KISSED HIS FELLA AFTER A WIN!! Ugh such a beautiful payoff and full circle moment for him, I was truly squealing with joy <3
The team’s rendition of So Long, Farewell had me GIGGLINGGG oh my god, I’m a die hard Sound of Music fan so I loved it! I would have maybe liked a little more emotion from Ted, I felt like his reaction was kind of… meh? meek? but other than that the song itself was FANTASTIC.
Obviously I love that they won the game, duh
They also had a lot of really amazing and thoughtful callbacks in this episode, like Keeley’s parallel to her entrance in the pilot was great, Ted’s bbq sauce mantra, Nate leaping into Ted’s arms, the ussie guy, the winning play being the play from season 1. All of those little moments showed a strong attention to detail I truly loved.
I love that Rupert made HIMSELF unlikeable in the end. Rebecca didn’t need to ruin his life; she stopped caring and soon saw he was doing a perfectly fine job of doing it himself. Karma truly is Rebecca Welton’s boyfriend!! Or is it?
Jake the motherfucking client seducer over here turning out to be a total dud like yesss!! I don’t want Ted and Michele back together by any means but fuck that guy lol, glad to see she and Henry were getting sick of him
BELIEVE. 😭
Which leads me to…
THE BAD:
I know you all know I ship Tedbecca, but this is truly not coming from a shipper standpoint when I say that that first scene of them was absolute BAIT. It was pretty disappointing because I know Ted Lasso’s been prone to red herrings and fakeouts every now and then but I didn’t take it as a show that would truly bait their fans with something like that??
I don’t care if I’m biased, I don’t care if the writers were trying to be avant-garde with their ending for rebecca, I’ll say what I’m about to say a million times: writing off 1 of your 2 most main characters into a happy ending with a man whose name the audience doesn’t even know is literally never a good writing decision. I think this should be obvious.
I have no hate to Boat Guy, Rebecca’s whole thing with him was basically the plot of Before Sunrise + Before Sunset (all hail Richard Lanklater) if someone watched those movies and then tried condensing them into fifteen accumulated minutes of television
Keeley, Roy, Jamie… they did you three so fucking dirty my babes. Keeley you especially. I’m beyond disappointed, bordering on genuinely hurt, by how much they screwed up Keeley and all of her adjacent storylines this season.
I loved RoyKeeley so much in seasons 1 and 2, they had such a sweetness and a magic to them. There were so many elements like that to season 1 and 2 that I feel the writers gave up on in the name of growth or… honestly, at this point, I don’t know why they did this. Roy was a little insecure in seasons 1 and 2, but I never felt like he was needy. It felt so cruel to have shown us RoyKeeley in all of these moments of such stability, such healthiness, and such genuine love for so long and then rip it away for some version of Roy Kent that felt hollow, twisted, and who just Did Not Get It. It makes me so sad.
It makes me sad for Jamie too. Him falling for Keeley again was like the last thing I needed to see from his character. There’s so much else they could have done with him, and instead they took that beautiful moment of him being accountable and respectful with Keeley and the tape, and they turned it into something ugly: they had him weaponize it as a bargaining chip against Roy.
I don’t understand why they thought having our favs engaged in this very sexist outdated convo with such possessive language in the name of comedy was a good idea. I get it was poking fun at them but it was the kind of fun that shouldn’t have to be poked at by now. They’re not these men, I don’t recognize this version of them. It’s such a regression.
speaking of weird and uncomfortable shit being played off for laughs… beard and jane got married! ted wasn’t even there! she shredded his passport to keep him in captivity! how creepy! (see the joke is that they’re crazy and do toxic things to each other. you’re supposed to laugh.)

A combination Kerr-Tartt jersey, it’s a dream come true” but he absolutely loves seeing you in the custom or in one of his jerseys, just something about his name painted across your back makes him so feral

-His island is impeccably tidy, not one flower out of place

Sam:
-His island isn’t as great as Isaac’s, but it’s still top tier

Welcome to the Outlander 31 Day Challenge!
Today is Day 24: Favorite Jamie + Claire being silly/adorable scene
This would have to be - hands down - the adorable, amazing Drunk!Jamie scene in 01x12 “Lallybroch.” Why?
- LOVE LOVE LOVE the drunk!violin (nicely echoes the tipsy!violin when Jamie comes down the stairs in 01x07 “The Wedding”)
- Jamie thinks he’s being soooo sneaky when he comes in the door
- Claire is all sassy in a tired, “I can’t believe I married this idiot” kind of way
- Drunk!Jamie has to be asked to speak English - proof that Gaelic is his default setting
- “I had to show him the difference between abuse and discipline” - followed by the butt slap that echoed around the world. The fact that Drunk!Jamie is not-so-subtly referring to his ill-fated attempt to “discipline” Claire, and their conversations about it later at Leoch, shows just how deeply that episode has affected him
- Claire’s adorable reaction to the butt slap - oh no he didn’t!
- “I told him he’d have to answer to the laird of Broch Tuarach. That’s me!” — Seriously Jamie, are you five?
- Wait, wait, oh my God, Claire has actually seen an elephant!!
- And my absolute favorite part of the scene: the head roll. Why sit up when you can just roll all over your understanding, accommodating wife?

there’s this boy I like (in the process of rizzing up) and I’ve learnt to put my hair slightly in front of my face when I see him bc he always tucks it behind my ears and it’s so cute. SO I think an equivalent with Matty would be so cute. Either the same thing. Or maybe HE deliberately does something to initiate contact. Like maybe flatmate Matty never ties his tie right when he’s going somewhere fancy, so you have to sort it out. And early days of D Word Matty, he often drops something right by your desk so he has to pick it up, and hope that the delay triggers conversation between you. You show Matty your new nails when you get them done, in the hopes he takes your hand in his to examine them. Do u have any more ideas like this? I just think it’s such a cute/innocent concept
OH this is adorable, best of luck with the rizzing up! i love this pavlovian shit, honestly - my personal thing is new, and it's calling my ????ship darlin' or my darlin out of the blue when i thank him for something. he thinks i can't see him smiling and blushing a little bit, but he's not that slick. ANYWAY. the tie thing for flatmate, absolutely - he's always got some item of clothing slightly askew for you to fix before he leaves the flat or goes onstage or whatever. for you, it's getting him to zip up your dresses at the back (someone has requested a whole blurb about this that i'm going to get to soon!), and getting him to fasten necklaces for you right after you've put your perfume on, so every time he smells it wafting around the flat he thinks of your bare neck and how much he wants to kiss it (like i said the other day, you're an idiot who thinks fallingforyou isn't about you lol). for d word, i think the dropping things next to your desk, yeah, but also given the fact your desk is right next to jamie's office i think matty would linger right by you before and after he's in meetings with the boss, pretending to check his phone and suddenly saying something or laughing loudly "in reaction" to it then being like "sorry if i startled you, sweetheart. how are you, anyway?" and starting a convo. and sometimes he'll deliberately claim he thought the meeting started half an hour earlier than it really did, just so he can be like "might go and get a coffee while i wait, want me to bring you one?" or literally just sit on the edge of your desk chatting to you; he doesn't do it so much that you get suspicious, but he's definitely done it a fair few times. once your little book club starts, you always make sure to have a copy of your latest novel/essay collection/literary magazine on your desk, in the hope that he'll pick it up and talk to you about it - maybe you even take inspo from legally blonde and spritz your perfume over them, so that whenever matty takes them home to read he thinks about you (even more than he normally does). the nails thing could apply to any of them, but i think it's cute for birthday party - you get into the habit of showing him your nails immediately whenever you run into him, because one of the first times you met him he was fascinated by them and held your hands the whole time you spoke about them and even when the conversation moved elsewhere. you thought it was so sweet, and that was before you properly had a crush on him; when you realise that you do, the aim is to get him to hold them distractedly again every time you see him, and you've been successful quite a few times. i think his equivalent is the same as mine, showering you in pet names to make you swoon. and by god, he's good at it lmao <3

'Andrew Scott has praised Paul Mescal for being a “wonderful friend”, following the death of his mother.
The Irish actor’s mum Nora sadly passed away in March, after a short illness.
During a new interview with the Sunday Times, the 47-year-old said he was grateful for their friendship during such a “tough time”.
“I adore Paul,” he said.
“Obviously it’s been a tough time recently and he just continues to be a wonderful friend. It’s everything.
“The more I work in the industry, I realise, you make some stuff that people love and you make some stuff that people don’t like, and all really that you are left with is the relationships that you make. I love him dearly.”
The pair won critical acclaim for their roles in All Of Us Strangers earlier this year, in which they played on-screen lovers.
The film was loosely based on a 1987 Japanese novel by Taichi Yamada.
It follows screenwriter Adam (Andrew Scott) who, one night in his near-empty tower block in contemporary London, has a chance encounter with his mysterious neighbour Harry (Paul Mescal) that punctures the rhythm of his everyday life.
As Adam and Harry get closer, Adam is pulled back to his childhood home where he discovers that his long-dead parents (Claire Foy and Jamie Bell) are both living and look the same age as the day they died over 30 years ago.
Andrew said filming parts of All Of Us Strangers was painful yet cathartic, because of his own experiences as a young gay man.

*Her face lights up when you tell her. She’s absolutely enthralled at how you could love tickling so much.
*After you explain, she gives you a hug with some side squeezes. She reassured you you’re not weird or strange. You’re in fact incredibly cute and endearing. One would even say absolutely adorable. Cue you blushing and her laughing at how you react.
*Her and Keeley will tease you together. Definitely while you’re in between them on the couch while giving you playful pokes.

*He’s more of a lee than a ler.
*That doesn’t mean he won’t take the opportunity to scribble at your neck or squeeze your knee.
*He likes to give you head scratches and give you little sneaky ear and neck tickles.
*Comments on how easy you blush as if he doesn’t blush just as easily when you tease him.
*Always makes sure you’re okay with being full on tickled before he gets you.
*Surprisingly very skilled tickler.
*His fingers know just how to wiggle their way into your ribs.
*Speaking of which, he’s a sucker for counting your ribs out loud to you. And of course he “messes up” along the way and has to start over.
*Is more gentle with his tickles, which tickles a lot more in his opinion because of the anticipation of it all.
*Which also means he’s more susceptible to gentle and light tickles.

one aspect about them i love
The man does not flinch. Akufo screams in his face and Sam's whole reaction is "whoa", with a little incredulity at being called a "medium talent". Every setback Sam has. he just dusts himself off and keeps going with a smile. He's a superhero.
one aspect i wish more people understood about them
Sam is not naïve. He wants the world to be better and is thus keenly aware of all the ways it could be. His openness is a choice and it's one he makes knowing he will likely be disappointed.
one (or more) headcanon(s) i have about this character
I feel like he might be kind of adorably awkward around kids? Sam strikes me as the kind of person who always found it easier to talk to adults than people his own age. Now that he is an adult, he has no idea how to interact with children beyond smiling a lot.

The bit of Jamie giggling after he says Roy's sister is fit is absolutely adorable, but I see a lot of people saying "hah, thats totally Phil breaking" and I dont think it is? We already had this with the locker room yelling Roy, giggling Jamie bit, but idk if people arent used to seeing genuine laughing on screen that they always assume its character breaking? Also, love the continuing theme of Jamie finding Roy's gruffness funny
I loved that bit as well! And to me it was 100% in character for Jamie to start giggling because of Roy's reaction (which he probably wanted to provoke by his statement anyway).
(I was a bit more on the fence about the locker room, since that was a more serious situation and Jamie is usually pretty good reading the room—though I decided he probably was very amused that for once he wasn't the one Roy was yelling at.)

hi! do you maybe have an episode/serial/story of classic who you'd recommend to get into it? i tried watching from the beginning and couldn't get past the first few episodes but i really do wanna watch at least some of the classics
I didn’t really get INTO it until the third doctor if I’m being honest. but my ALL time favorite episodes are so far:
planet of the giants (hartnell, season 2)
fun! if the plot doesn’t entice you the old fashioned special effects are interesting and silly. also short <3
the mind robber (troughton, season 6)
very meta and trippy but still playful, really cool concept and really good companion cast (zoe & jamie, my loves!)
spearhead from space (pertwee, season 7)
introduction of my favorite doctor and one of my favorite companions! shot on film too so it’s just really pretty imo :) the plot is whatever but I enjoy the character dynamics and beginnings to new relationships
inferno (pertwee, season 7)
this one was so weird but I really really liked it. tension was well built, concept was wild, departure of liz shaw (unfortunate bc I adore her and she deserved another season)
the daemons (pertwee, season 8)
really fun unit era episode with the master :) a little cheesy but like. In a good way I think
the three doctors (pertwee, starring troughton & hartnell, season 10)
you kind of just have to watch the multi doctor episodes bc watching them interact with each other is so fucking funny (also the brigadiers reaction to having to deal with more than one doctor… lmao)
the green death (pertwee, season 10)
second companion exit to bring me to tears since susan’s!! but this one got to me even more. beware nasty fucking monsters :/
genesis of the daleks (baker, season 12)
I would watch this one for the lore, it’s pretty iconic. I also really just enjoy harry and the doctor’s method of dealing with life or death situations (they’re insane)
the seeds of doom (baker, season 13)
I am watching this one literally right now and it is absolutely one of my favorites. It’s on the longer side but the tension is well built and I am IN LOVE with four and sarah jane’s relationship dynamic
in general I am following this guide, but I use my own judgment if one of their descriptions interests me/strikes me as deeply boring
