Dracula: what are you going to do, Johnny? Stab me?
Jonathan: *Brandishes knife* >:|
*One ass-whoopin and mugging later*

Waiting for the day the world wakes up and I get my gay Dracula adaptation featuring a gothic horror romance between him and Jonathan instead of slapping yet another heteronormative love story put there just for us to ignore that Dracula says that he has the capacity to love while looking at Jonathan

Of one thing I am glad: if it was that the Count carried me here and undressed me,
if it was what now?

Well... THAT SCENE, huh?
If you enjoyed it and if you like Jonathan Harker's stubbornness and talent getting into trouble you definitely should read Bram Stoker's Dracula's Guest. It a short novel which was supposed to be a chapter before Jonathan reached Dracula's castle and boy... where do I start? It contains a bloodthirsty vampire woman and shape-shifting Dracula and hmm... A lot of licking I guess? My point is that you just should read it you won't regret it

Hey. Anon who submitted Dracula and Jonathan here. I didn't mean the netflix adaptation, I just meant the book. But I guess what's done is done.
Since Dracula was published in 1897, I would say that absolutely doesn't count as queerbait but at most as queercoded. But we can vote on it.

It Is Not This Night
read on AO3
~1k, Jonathan Harker/Count Dracula, T-rating, Canon AU
Summary: Jonathan's tongue goes heavy in his mouth. He swoons, captured by the darkness, half-aware of the Count tutting and kissing Jonathan's brow. "Oh, my friend… you are weary. Rest. This is all but a piteous dream conjured of the Tokay."

I made search of my portmanteau and in the wardrobe where I had placed my clothes.
The suit in which I had travelled was gone, and also my overcoat and rug; I could find no trace of them anywhere. Instead, all I found was a little black slip of a dress with a note in his hand: "Dinner, Sunset, Don't Be Late."

I think Jonathan and Mina would be the type of couple to take a photo like this:
