the whole fam dambly!! I was missing jojos and I wanted to draw these guys again saur here they be in the Joutaverse AU!

“Joutaverse” is a storyline I came up with separate from the main timeline and the EOH timeline- in the original universe the story plays out as it does in canon until the very end of stone ocean where instead of the universe being reset by Pucci, Jolyne goes Requiem at the eleventh hour. with SFR, she’s able to manipulate timelines and “change the strong of fate” as one does. She makes a single change to the past, which causes a chain reaction of events- including Hamon being stronger, kakyoin and the other crusaders making it out alive, the events of GW being slightly different, Jotaro’s relationship with her changing to be better, their family expanding with Jotaro remarrying Noriaki Kakyoin and having her stepbrother, and finally... winning against Pucci. this seems wonderful at first, and it is! but there’s two sides to every coin. since the Joestar family curse wasn’t endid with the universe being reset, it lives on and continues with Jouta. That’s where his story begins- a tale of high schoolers, musical theatre, necromancy, witches, and the craziness of NYC in 2020.

in the present day, Jolyne lives in Austin, Texas as a bestselling author with her friends from Green Dolphin. Florence decided to move closer to her daughter and away from the trauma that Florida brought and is an elementary art teacher! Jotaro retired from the Speedwagon Foundation business and is a marine biology professor at NYU, and he lives with Noriaki and their son in the city. Kakyoin still works with SPW, and hes kind of a jack of all trades! Jotaro and Florence aren’t together anymore because their relationship was mutually Not The Best, but they r still friendly :3

hey yknow your Joutaverse? it's cool if you don't but do you have any more info on characters like Brock or Elphie? I really do like them :)

Yes ofc!!

Originally I didn’t really have a theme in mind for this fan part,- the whole spiel of the characters being named and themed after Broadway because New York City didn’t come to me until later (hence why Brock is named after the brockhampton and not a musical and Nikki is named after Nikki Sixx of Motley Crue.) but they stuck so I kept them.

Brock is kind of a shared oc between me and @bitedisease. We worked on him together and Will was the main influence behind Brock as a character and style… I wanted to make an oc who was a black kid in the city who was into soft and pastel fashion without falling into stereotypes, and as a BIPOC who grew up in NYC and my best friend, Will was hugely important with his creation. His stand design and abilities changed a lot over time, starting out as a monochrome stand named mother mother that could change states of matter, but soon after turned into “Candy Store-“ an equally pastel stand that could turn objects into keychains! He’s the oldest of his siblings and follows in his mama’s footsteps of being a hairdresser, one of the big parts of brock and jouta’s story being brock giving jouta his signature bilevel haircut after his long hair gets torn apart. His main gimmick is that he’s always involved in stand bullshit and doesn’t know wtf is going on ever. He’s the only reasonable one in the group who doesn’t act like he’s in a Shounen anime.

Elphie is somewhat goth and witchy, her full name being Elphaba Glynn (after the musical wicked, which her stand also references.) shes honestly still in the works as an oc as I’m still not sure what I want her stand to do, but I do know that her stand is reminiscent of rollerskates and that she’s a tech theater kid….
