Some appropriate reading for today. Although technically it is an anachronism as the newspaper wouldn't have been printed until tomorrow since the event occurred today, but I think we can let that slide, right?
Happy 54th Anniversary to the Apollo Moon Landing, the culmination of the Moonshot project promised by JFK in his famous Rice University speech. I don't think I can quite overstate how important I think the space program is, several advances in technologies we use every day came about because of their development for use by NASA, and I for one am ecstatic that we will be returning to the moon (and possibly doing the other things) in the near future with the Artemis missions.
A little late with all those Moon Landing posts but…Eh, was sick the night before so I took NyQuil and slept through most of the day so I didn’t have the time or energy to.
So, might as well do it now while I got something to use.
