I have this headcanon that Pete can only sleep when he can FEEL Vegas being alive next to him.

Like hearing him breath - even if it's easy and deep and regular and undisturbed - is not enough. Pete needs the physical touch. He needs to feel the lasting warmth of Vegas' body, the unyielding beating of his heart, the unfaltering rise and fall of his chest.

So alive, so alive, not dying, not bleeding out, not dead. Not. Dead.

His own hand becomes his anchor, always attached to Vegas' body, especially during the rough sea of the early hospital nights. It turns into a habit he can't shake, not after Vegas starts healing, not after he dares to sleep in Vegas' embrace without the worry of aggravating his wounds, not even after they start using the hours of darkness for more pleasurable activities again. (Or the hours of early morning, of noon, of afternoon, or any given time, really, if they're in the mood.)

His hand (after it's unbound, more often than not) unintentionally finds its way to Vegas' chest; and it stays there, anchoring, soothing his anxiety, soothing this nightmarish fear that never quite leaves him. Not dead.

Little does he know...or maybe he does know that this touch is just as anchoring for Vegas as it is for him. It's the reassurance that Pete didn't leave, that Pete doesn't want to leave, that he's loved and not alone. Not alone.

Not dead. Not alone. Not dead. Not alone.

going off this post of mine and inspired by the reblogs here are some throwaway vegaskim headcannons

as children, both vegas and kim had quiet personalities, even though it didn't seem like it when vegas was around kinn as they would almost always be at each others' throats. but after all the showboating and scheming, vegas enjoyed just sitting around and reading. kim on the other hand would carry his guitar around just about everywhere. vegas is somewhere in the gardens of the main family compound reading a book when he hears the strumming of a guitar. he seeks out the sound until he sees kim playing by the pond. kim stops when he feels someone's eyes on him and he looks up to see his older cousin, a book in his hand, thumb bookmarking where he left off. the next day kim brings vegas a book and tells him that it wasn't his type of thing and maybe vegas would be more interested. the day after, vegas dumps a box of records in front of kim and tells him that he has no use for them.

all of the theerapanyakul children learnt to fight, learnt to shoot and learnt to take just about anything and everything a child should never have to learn in fear of their own lives. kim and vegas would spar together even though vegas always tried to challenge kinn. kim was better at combat, vegas was better at arms. surprisingly, both of them excelled in 'extracting information'.

the two were the closest out of all the cousins even though they also spoke the least. most of their conversations were achieved through silent glances and slight gestures. the entire family is sitting around one day when korn makes an offhand comment about something. vegas is still young and hasn't perfected his poker face, his face crinkles ever so slightly and he pulls his gaze away from his uncle. he's surprised that it meets with the dark eyes of his youngest cousin. he's even more surprised when those eyes share the same contempt festering inside himself towards his uncle.

when kim sees that look on vegas' face in that meeting room, one almost too similar to his own like an unwanted reflection, his world shatters. his eyes drop to the table and he realises he can't stay here anymore. he doesn't trust his own father.

vegas was secretly devastated when he learnt kim was moving out of the major family compound. he accosts kim in his soon to be former room one night, hands folded as he leans against the doorway and asks 'you're leaving?'. he tries to make it sound like he doesn't care but his voice betrays him. 'you can always come visit' kim says. vegas unfolds his arms and replies, 'why would i visit you?' before walking off.

vegas never visited but he sends gift hampers with fresh fruit, cash and information every so often.

porsche isn't the only one who punches vegas. kim seeks him out too and tells him first hand that if he ever tries to touch porschay again, he'll personally put a bullet through vegas' head. vegas doesn't retaliate, vegas doesn't say anything. he never meant to hurt porchay this wasn't the fucking plan. before vegas and his father launched an assault on the main family, vegas makes one phone call to a certain estranged cousin about where a certain kittisawasd boy is.

kim is the first person from the major family to visit vegas in the hospital. he doesn't bring flowers, he brings a set of keys to an apartment under a last name that isn't theerapanyakul. he visits only at night, way past visiting hours but no one is going to argue with kim kimhant theerapanyakul. vegas is sleeping as kim leaves the keys and a teddy bear that he knows vegas will give to macau and macau will give to pete who will treasure it, before making his exit.

'you came.'

kim turns around at sound of his older cousin and sees vegas with his eyes open. a wry smile crosses kim's face.

'why would i visit you?'

kim was the only bitch macau respected in this household and he looked up to kim as much as he looks up to vegas

kim texts macau one day to come over and macau, confused because he hasn't even seen his cousin in about four years, does because he still respects hia kim. kim opens the door and doesn't let macau in.

'porschay kittisawasd, he goes to your school. look after him.' is all kim says as he hands over a bag and closes the door.

macau peers into the bag and inside in a shiny new ps5.

macau finds a certain music major the next day at school.

'hi, i'm macau theerapanyakul, youngest son of the minor family. wanna play games with me on my new ps5?'

I was inspired by this headcanon so I thought I would give it a try. This is my first time in the fanfic world (on the writing side) so I’m sorry in advance for any mistakes or poor grammar/syntax ! It’s very short but I hope you’ll like it :)

*Chay and Macau waiting outside the principal office*

"Have they called your brother yet ?"

"I don’t know … but I hope not ! He’s going to kill me. You ?"

"I don’t know either … but I'm dead too, It’s the third time this week for me."

"Third time ?!?? God Chay you’re worse than me ! How is this even possible ?"

"Well you should know my dear friend that an IRL ecosystem reproduction of a small lake with all its animal species doesn’t build itself. It takes time (and detentions)."

"Why don’t you stick with classic shits with setting something on fire ? Simple, efficace and not time consuming."

"I think I’m more of a water guy. Plus you should thank me : without MY lake the pool wouldn’t be empty and you couldn't have set it on fire."

"You're a menace ... Anyway I think I'm going to call P'Kim, he's the least dangerous for us right now."

"Chay made another mess today and is currently in detention ; it was fish this time if I understand correctly."

"What ?!?! Again ?!?!" Porsche yells.

"Thinking about it, who’s going to pick up Macau ?" Pete asks Vegas

"I’ll do it" Vegas answers.

"Don’t bother" Kim chimes in.

"What ?"

"He also caused some trouble and Chay asked me to take him too."

"What did he do this time …" Vegas sighs.

"I do not know. One thing I know is that, and I quote, 'don’t let P’Vegas come to pick up Macau. He’s going to kill him …' "

"Damn right I do !"

"'… and don’t let Hia come either, he’s going to kill me.' "

"At least this boy is self aware."

KinnPorsche OP’s Thai vs Eng Ver.

The opening song of KinnPorsche La Forte: The Series, Slot Machine - ‘Free Fall’ (or เพียงไว้ใจ), has lots of key differences between the versions. When you analyze them further, it makes sense why people think of the two versions as being in Kinn’s or Porsche’s POV. The Thai version (often thought of as Kinn’s point of view) and English version (thought of as Porsche’s point of view) are different in their themes and perspectives, but they share some similarities in their use of metaphors and emotions.

Kinn’s starts with a metaphor of closing all doors and sealing the lock to the heart, indicating the speaker's past hurt (probably thought of as his relationship with Tawan where Tawan cheated on him with and gave his information to Vegas) and reluctance to trust. Pete

Pete cannot cook anything except prepackaged ramen. If you see him in the kitchen grab a fire estingiusher and try to get him out the kitchen

Vegas

Vegas cannot drive a car to save his life. He's fine on a motorcycle but put him behind the wheel of a car and you better pray for your life. This man hits every curb and can't park. Riding with Vegas is basically saying you don't care about your life

Vegas isn't good at math. Macau asked him for help with his math homework and ended up having to teach his brother. He has people who do math for him. (Sorry to all the Vegas in STEM lovers)

Porsche

Porsche can make really convincing animal sounds. He's been able to convince people that there is a cat hiding inside the main family compound

Kinn

Kinn isn't good with technology. He has a very basic grasp on things however he has to ask Arm to convert his word docs to pdfs.

Kim

Kim can't ride a bike. His older brothers tried to teach him when they were younger but he fell off and scraped his knee and decided he hated bikes.

Chay

On his 10th birthday he wished that he would grow taller than Porsche. It's a wish that he still hopes comes true.

Tankhun

He got addicted to candy crush. He spent hundreds of dollars on the game and it got to the point where Arm and Pol had to step in by deleting the game from his phone and finding a way to keep him from redownloading it

in my personal headcanon tay becomes (domesticated) vegas' first actual friend. one night the combination of pete's dimples and a totally healthy amount of jealous paranoia lead into vegas joining his lover and the... others at Yok's although joining might be the wrong term for the shit show of tankhun throwing evil glares and cocktail umbrellas at him and him lowkey hiding in the corner by the bar with a glass of wine. and tay likes 1) nice things and 2) assholes. so it makes sense he comes to order something and makes a surprisingly sincere "congrats on being alive" comment and they somehow end up talking wine. and it's actually nice because tay is sharp, smart and not a "threat" in vegas' eyes and vegas is sharp, smart and the last person to either try and get in tay's pants or judge tay's dubious life choices. (all hail pong-tong and all but you can try pry tay/time/tem/eventual happiness out of my cold, dead hands) vegas calling tay for help when he has a crisis on what to buy pete for a birthday present and his fragile ego can't handle any jokes. tay bitching to vegas about rope burns on his delicate complexion and vegas showing up an hour later with a duffel bag of bondage gear because someone needs to teach these idiots how to tie each other up properly. tay kidnapping pete to take him shopping and doll him up for vegas. vegas using a fish and a very sharp knife to demonstrate what happens to time if he fucks around outside the relationship again as they cook for a get together. vegas and tay buying a vineyard and starting a wine business as a passion project. (bonus: one sunday morning tay barges into vegaspete bedroom unannounced, crawls between them and makes himself at home. "they cheated" he mumbles and vegas is already reaching for the knife under his pillow when he elaborates what they actually did was finish money heist without him. vegas relaxes with an affectionate "fuck you" and returns to being the big spoon. pete stares. "he's my porsche" vegas shrugs. "i have enough boyfriends as is, don't worry" tay adds and together they pull pete in to join their cuddle sandwich.)

A/B/O thoughts and then make it about KP

One Thing I noticed about writing/reading A/B/O fanfics is how often scents are described with lots of details but in everyday life it's so hard to recognize every components of perfumes if you didn't learn how to do it. So now I just think of "baby" Alphas and Omegas at school learning about scents. Maybe it's an official thing or just group of friends trying to smell each other and recognize what is in it and what every little change could mean. Either way it would be great bonding and learning moments (for most of them, so many angst possibilities with this.)

Being able to smell all of this always would be overwhelming so I think it would be more something like "scents are here but you don't notice them as you grow up and get use to it. The exception being if they are suddenly more potent or if you focus on it"

[Exemple of this: people always telling me it smells good when they enter the shop but I'm so used to the smell of flowers that I don't notice it anymore except when we've got bloomed lilies or if I've had a few days off or if I decide to smell the roses. End of personal exemple]

And here comes another KinnPorsche related idea.

If it's at first a school centric knowledge, what about Porsche who missed so many classes and didn't have the time either to be around lots of people (except his friends)? Maybe then he only learned to recognize specific scents. Chay's being the most familiar one and then the scents of his friends. Those, he learned how to read and he can describe them but it's more something like what happens when you're always around some people and knows when their mood shift. Scents is by far the last thing Porsche would use to read a room.

And if the scent shift means specific emotions Porsche didn't necessarily learned how to recognize it, how to read it so he became (in the eyes of the others) somewhat this "don't care about your feelings" kind of person while he cares a lot but just don't know how to read signals. He's just living in a world with different codes and no matter how hard he tries to adapt, he has no one to help him. Of course Chay does try but there are not so much he can do about it.

Enters Kinn.

Kinn who grew up with lots of people around (even if it's mostly staff/bodyguards, it counts) and had to be perfect in reading people. He knows how to control his scent and rely on it to convey what he wants, how he is feeling or more like "what he wanta the other to think he is feeling" , and so on. And around him, everyone knows this and knows how to act according to it.

Kinn and Porsche worlds crash into one another. So many tension and miscommunication at first. Kinn is fascinated by Porsche.

HELLO ! Sorry for taking so long with this, I had a really busy week. But I'm really interested on this question, specially because I love angsty headcanons, so here you go <3

• Big is a total mess with feelings. Not only he has trouble identifying them, but his way of copying with them is also... At least unhealthy. He has this mind set of "showing any emotion to others makes me automatically weak, so let's just bottle it up and act like nothing happens"

Now, when it comes to romantic feelings it's even worse. His past experiences with romance where definetly not the best ( being pinned for Kinn for such a long time must have been a torture for him ), so when he started realizing that his little crush on Porsche was going way too deep he was like "Well, it's time to deny my feelings again"

• It took him a long time to accept his feelings, but even when he did, he never thought that a relationship with Porsche was even possible. There was no way that he was interested in him on the same way, so Big just accepted the fact that eventually he would have to move on from that, even if it hurted. However, this wasn't easy with Porsche being around him the whole time.

• Again, because his unhealthy way of dealing with romantic feelings, he thought the only way he had of getting rid of his crush was pushing him away, wich was terrible not only for him, but also for Porsche, who was trying to say "HEY, I'M INTERESTED ON YOU, IF YOU HAVEN'T NOTICED YET" But we already established that Big is not good with insinuations so...

• Due to his past impossible crush, he got used to love in silence. He's quiet about it, of course he doesn't tell anyone, but even if he doesn't show affection in a conventional way, he would do anything for his significant other.

• Under all the "showing human emotions is bad for me" thing Big gets really hurt. And he cries a lot about it. Not when there's people ( for obvious reasons), but when he's alone he just let the tears shed. However, he always cries silently, so none can hear him

So the lovely @haahka and I were talking about Tay and how it's a bit sad that the fandom only ever seems to send him on shopping tours or focus on his fashion (you guys know that I'm obsessed with the KinnPorsche Fashion myself, but it's just a little...unadventurous, you know).

And then I got waaay to deep into headcanons with the equally lovely @tumsa (I'm not even sorry for the spam 😌❤).

Now, there are two things I want to do: first, I'd love to hear more Tay headcanons - feel free to throw them at me (as an ask, in the tags, added to this post, whatever you prefer). Because I'm really curious. 👀

And second, I'm going to share a few of mine:

Tay is way more capable than anyone thinks. (But no one needs to know that.)

People treat Tay like a princess within the show - I mean, he isn't even allowed to help in the kitchen at Porsche's. But I don't think Tay IS a princess. I think it's a protective façade. Because letting oneself be underestimated is a (survival) strategy in a world of money and constant power struggle, and a smart one at that. Yes, Tay is really good at reading people in general, but I also feel like people tend to let their guard down around him. Because he's kind, and understanding, and compassionate - and he seems harmless, a bit spoiled even. His 'softness' puts people at ease, makes them talk, makes them more honest than they probably should be. He's not a threat after all. I bet he knows a lot of things he shouldn't. I bet he's smart enough to use that knowledge (to help other people, to help himself, if needed). And I bet Tay could be fucking dangerous if he ever chose to (and wouldn't that be exciting 👀).

I also like to think that Tay has a strong survival instinct that goes beyond 'pretending to be incapable'. He and Kinn have been friends for ages, their families know each other, he basically grew up surrounded by mafia. He probably witnessed Tankhun's kidnapping back in the day. The horror and trauma of it. Tay's family is rich. He's close to the Theerapanyakuls. To the future head of the family. But he DOESN'T have an army of bodyguards following him around. And the downside of 'being harmless' is looking like an easy victim. Tay is too smart to be unprepared. So in my headcanon he knows how to handle a crisis, knows how to deal with danger, knows how to survive. Knows how to get out of the country quickly, how to get money without leaving a trail, how to get an unregistered gun. How to land a mean punch even though he hates it, how to apply (good) first aid EVEN THOUGH HE HATES IT. (I do think that he really isn't a fan of physical stuff, so the princess image is not completely off. Or, well, he lets it work in his favour.)

Tay's reaction to being hurt, being really hurt, is to shut his emotions down completely.

I don't enjoy how Tay's often written as dramatic and over-emotional in his confrontations with Time after what happened at Hum Bar. He isn't sober when he catches his boyfriend shoving his tongue down another man's throat, and well, his boyfriend is shoving his tongue down another man's throat. So of course he's fucking angry. And emotional. Right then and there. But the thing is, Tay had time to think, time to cool off in those other confrontations. And that's just the way to describe Tay's demeanor then: cool, cold, like ice. I like to think that he just freezes over. Turns into a statue of neutral disinterest. Just imagine: someone like Tay, always so kind and compassionate, staring you down with an expressionless face, not reacting to anything you say, looking close to fucking bored. Imagine what that would do to Time, always so full of himself, always so used to getting reactions out of Tay. Walking straight into a wall of ice. Completely out of his element. Really forced to put the work in for once. And it truly is hard work to break through to Tay once he closes his feelings off from you. A little bit of grovelling might be necessary. (That said, dealing with his emotions like that isn't good for Tay either. Of course not.)

There's...'something' between Tay and Vegas, some kind of understanding

I never got over TAY asking after Vegas in the final episode. Or the way Tay watches Vegas as he passes him during the auction. So I'm having a lot of fun wondering about the 'relationship' between Tay and Vegas, or how potential interactions could have gone down.

I mean, Tay 'belongs' to Kinn. We know that Vegas wants everything that belongs to Kinn (I bet he thinks Kinn must have fucked a pretty boy like that at least once. Even though it's not his usual type. Why else would he stick around?). Tay's caring and understanding. We know how Vegas can react...to something like that. (Not him falling in love after one free therapy session or something like that.) Tay is really good at reading people, he is really good at reading Kinn. And we know Vegas is not so different from Kinn (in some ways), even though he would murder anyone suggesting something like that to his face. Or maybe that's exactly what Tay does. Telling that to his face. As Vegas tries to seduce him, in the earlier days. But Tay doesn't try to wound him with that, to be cruel or mean, it's just an observation, spoken in that calm and understanding tone of his. And a younger Vegas is so shocked by that statement that he just...stops? And stares at Tay who just keeps going with that warm look in his eyes and those observations that hit a little too close to home until he can't take it anymore and turns on his heel to...definitely NOT run away like a dog with his tail between his legs.

Vegas keeps his distance after that. That princess isn't worth the effort, he tells himself. Or maybe he doesn't. Maybe he stops trying to seduce Tay, yes. But they end up talking again. And again. Because Vegas desperately needs to know what Tay meant with those things he said. And there's just... something about their conversations that keeps Vegas coming back. Until (stealing some thoughts from @tumsa here <3) Tay tries to convince Vegas that the competition between him and Kinn is dumb. Vegas does keep his distance, then.

And Tay gives up trying to help, trying to make him see how futile all of this is because it's clear Vegas won't listen to anyone but his father. But he still cares about Vegas, and seeing all the things Vegas does to himself without realising, seeing that ever-growing self-destructive obsession with Kinn sits like a leaden ball in Tay's stomach. The knowledge that he can't do anything to help is a bit like its own form of torture.

Anyways, (stealing again from @tumsa) Tay definitely ends up going to the hospital to visit Vegas. In secret, of course. And seeing Vegas and Pete together, seeing Vegas being changed by love, seeing him try to be a better person for Pete, putting all this effort in to make it work - maybe all of this forces Tay to reflect on his own love life for once. To reflect on the things he wants. The things he deserves, after all.

You guys know the thing we do with Vegas? Like how VegasPete is the holy grail of endgame ships but it's so much fucking fun to ship Vegas with everyone and to imagine all his possible encounters and escapades? Because he's manipulation, seduction and psychological issues stacked on top of each other and wrapped in a velvet shirt?

Well. I like to do the same thing with Tay. For more or less opposite reasons. Because he's understanding and warm and compassionate and smart (and really pretty). In a world full of violence and trauma and repressed emotions, only sharp edges. I mean, who wouldn't crave the warmth, who wouldn't want to bathe in the sunlight for a while? I'm pretty sure people are falling en masse for Tay. And I think Tay doesn't always know how to handle it. Or genuinely doesn't realise what kind of effect he has on those poor bastards for doing nothing more than showing them a bit of kindness. Or maybe he's simply choosing to ignore it because he only has eyes for one person and one person alone.

Anyways, a lot of fun directions to go with this last headcanon for now. (And I'm keeping it intentionally vague and without examples because otherwise, this would turn into a multichapter fanfic I don't have time to write just now. 🤡)

Headcannoning that Vegas’ hedgehog is from Macau. Macau comes home one day with a hedgehog, said he found it at school, and asks Vegas to hide it from their dad and to take care of it whilst he’s at school. He also makes an off hand comment about how it reminds Macau of Vegas, prickly and hard on the outside but soft on the inside, the Vegas only Macau truly knows. Macau pets the hedgehog fondly before handing it over to Vegas. Vegas, knowing he has trouble forming attachment and is not equipped to look after anything, not even himself, takes it and the next day he tells Macau that it died because Vegas fed it something that he wasn’t suppose to. Macau cries but reassures Vegas he doesn’t blame him. 

But the hedgehog isn’t dead. Vegas keeps it in its cage in his office because he can’t bring himself to kill it. Not only did it mean something to Macau, a gift from his darling brother, but also because maybe, just maybe, he would be killing himself.

so idk what's canon in the novels, but Vegas's first name is Kornwit so here's my newest hc:

Kornwit is a family name that is usually given to the first born son (Korn -> Kornwit) but Korn's wife really wanted the name Tankhun so Korn named his first born son that instead.

Kan (or Gun? I have no idea, let's just skip it) then insisted that the name Kornwit had to go to a first born son, so Korn agreed to name his second son Anakinn and Vegas was named Kornwit

an autistic person seeing a character's traits as similar to their own and finding comfort in that is not an insult to that character or to other fans.
