synopsis: you and yunjin have the most wholesome moments in the sudden rainstorm taking place in the city tonight.

warnings: fluff. fluff. fluff. FLUFF. FLUFF. yunjin is older than the reader by a few years (not a lot). mostly you being a simp for yunjin.

a little rainy night moment between you and yunjin. she’s so adorable. kinda went ham with the amount of fluff in this one.

yunjin was everything you needed to survive on earth. she was like the breeze you needed to breathe after being isolated for so long. she was like the cool water that filled you up after a hot day.

to you, yunjin was unforgettable.

“hi pretty girl!” you happily waddled over to your girlfriend of 3 wholesome long years. you noticed that she was wearing your favourite hoodie, no wonder you couldn’t find it.

she looked up at you with her gorgeous brown eyes. the same eyes that made you fall to your knees and confess everything you’ve ever done.

her eyes held a story of wildness that no one else could understand but you. like a brown supernova, her eyes dilated whenever she spoke to you.

she made you feel special.

“hi baby, how was your day? did you eat? were you dressed appropriately for the weather? are you cold?” she began to ask you a million questions but you were too lost in her eyes to answer anything.

even after being with each other for so long, nothing felt better than loving yunjin.

suddenly, thunder roared out of the blue and the power went out, making you both jump out of your little moment.

“oh no, what do we do now?” you asked as yunjin got up and walked over to sit by the window. it looked like a massive rainstorm was making its way through the city right now.

you just stared at her, knowing these were the exact moments that made you fall in love with her even more. she loved the rain, and you loved whatever made her happy.

“i don’t know. i just wanna talk to you.” yunjin smiled at you.

your heart was racing at this point. you couldn’t tell whether it was from the happiness of being wanted by the one you love or because of the storm outside.

yunjin got up to reach for your hand and bring you to the beanbag sitting next to the window. you followed her without hesitation.

the silence creating an intimacy between the two of you. like the moon and the stars on a quiet summer night.

yunjin sat down first so you could be the little spoon today. her being older than you, meant that you would get a very motherly treatment.

you sat down on her lap and she leaned back, allowing you to cozy up in each others’ warmth.

you saw yunjin admiring you from the corner of your eye as you stared out of the window. you wanted to know what she was thinking so bad as her eyes began to soften at every blink of your eyes.

yunjin on the other hand, couldn’t help but feel her heart pound in her chest. it wanted to climb out of her chest and hug yours.

all of a sudden, the power was back on and yunjin could hear your favourite song playing in the background. she realized how much the lyrics truly described what she felt for you in the moment.

“can I handle it?

yunjin blushed at her own thoughts as you turned around to look at her.

“why are you blushing mi amor?” you asked with the most adorable and curious expression on your face. it made yunjin want to squeeze your face and place kisses all over it.

she reached for your face with her hands and placed a soft but passionate kiss onto your lips. it made you breathless to say the least.

she was written by the moon while you were the star that couldn’t get enough of the moon. no matter how many years passed, she still had the same effect on you.

she wrapped her arms around your waist tightly, not wanting to let you go anywhere away from her.

yunjin only got so many days off of work and she wanted to spend them all with you, at home. but who was she kidding, her home was wherever you were.

both of you began to move your lips in synchronization. you moved your hand to move her hair out of her face, while gliding your other hand over her hip.

you both pulled back for a moment to get your breathing settled. yunjin let out a breathless chuckle as she stared at your eyes and then back down to your lips.

“baby, i’m hungry” you pouted to yunjin. she grabbed your hand and brought you both up, heading to the kitchen.

“wait, i don’t even know what to make my love.” you laughed at her ridiculousness, it was so cute of her.

she looked like a lost puppy staring at you for help. you (simp)ly smiled at her and placed a kiss on her lips before picking her up and placing her onto the counter.

“today, you will watch, i, the world renowned chef, cook.” you cringed at your own little monologue before beginning to chop up the vegetables you found in the basket.

you looked over to see yunjin happily smiling at you with hearts in her eyes. you both were truly each others.

a few random catch ups of work here and there and little best friend tea. the food was finally ready.

yunjin noticed that even though you were the hungry one, you still made her favourite food.

“my love, you were the hungry one yet you made my favourite food. how come?” she looked up at you, genuinely curious.

“i hope you know i love whatever makes you happy too.” you answered casually.

she wrapped her hand with yours and placed a small kiss on your knuckles.

“i’m so into you. i’ll forever be into you. i love you so much.” yunjin confessed sweetly.

“i love you just as much. maybe more than you love greek yogurt and fruits.” you both laughed at your little joke.

after you both had finished eating, you washed the dishes as yunjin dried them.

she hugged you from the back, basically clinging to you the entire time you walked around the house to change up the books on your bedside table.

“you know, you act more like a koala than any of the australian idols i know.” she smacked you on the shoulder playfully.

you just smiled at her, being the biggest simp for her. you guys laid in bed, covered with yunjin’s ridiculously soft covers.

“i still think of the first time we ever met, it was almost like we were meant to be. with the way you were picking out a book and it just so happened to be my favourite book.” yunjin looked at you softly, paying attention to each and every word.

“i want to fall in love with you, too

you rested your head on her chest, feeling her heart beating in the sound of your name.

but what yunjin didn’t know was; yours was beating her name and your last name together. over and over again.
