I love you but please PLEASE stop shipping Tyler and Michael irl, whenever you say something people take it as godspeak and we all know Michael is straight and, last we knew Tyler was in a committed relationship. You stopped identifying as bisexual but you shouldn't throw us all under the bus
Okay, my first reaction upon reading your ask was IGNORE IT, my second was MOCK IT (at least the part about Vlamburn). But it's been a couple of hours since you sent it, and I'm going to answer in earnest bc it really irks and upsets me.
First of all: I couldn't possibly ship them any harder than they ship themselves. If asked, I'm sure they'd very much agree with me describing what they are doing as flirting (or something similar). And there's nothing wrong with that? It's all harmless fun and feeds into our excitement for Malex. Big fucking deal.
However, I'm under no illusion that they could possibly be a couple irl. Apart from identifying as straight, Vlamis is clearly very happy in his relationship with Aurora (and vice versa), and I have the utmost respect for that (they are cute af together, and I wish them nothing but eternal happiness, if anything, I'm shipping their love!).
Tyler's personal life/relationship status on the other hand is exactly that: personal. I appreciate everything he's sharing, but I'm not going to speculate about intimate details (I get tons of asks about that regularly, and they all remain unanswered bc it's none of my fucking business 🤷‍♀️).
So, am I going to stop doing what I do regarding Vlamburn on social media or the way I post about them? Hell no, why would I? It's all harmless fun and very much on par with what they are doing. There's nothing "inappropriate" or "disrespecting" about my posts, and honestly, if there are people who can't differentiate between the harmless flirty fun they are providing, and assuming they are fucking irl, that's on them, not me.
I'm not responsible for how people read their relationship - which imo is that of two colleagues (who also happen to be good friends) who are clearly very fond of each other, adore each other, and have zero issues with intimacy, innuendo, or riling each other up in the comment sections. Do I believe they are a couple or fuck irl? No, I don't. Do I imply any of that in my posts? Also no.
They are (willingly and fully aware) playing into a fantasy, where sometimes the lines between the fictional couple they play on screen, and their rl friendship can get a bit blurry, but never in a way that would make me think there's actually more.
If anyone else does that, that's their thing (and I'm not shaming here, just keep it away from the actors), but I'm certainly not running an RPF blog here, where I promote the illusion that they are secretly a couple.
whenever you say something people take it as godspeak
Uhm... WHAT??? I'm fairly certain that's not the case. I have zero authority (least of all any kind of godly authority) over anyone. We're all just fans here. I happen to have an active blog, yes, but I'm only stating my personal opinion here, and I'm trying to provide information and facts, and that's it.
I'm not here telling anyone what to ship, how to ship it, or what not to ship. And really, for all I care, as long as no harm is done to any real persons (especially the actors themselves), if people want to ship Vlamburn "for real", go forth and do whatever floats your boat. RPF is first and foremost a fantasy, a what-if. And lbr, these two make it REALLY easy to imagine things.
I understand that it's not for everyone, and the concept of RPF/RP shipping makes a lot of people feel uncomfortable. And that's perfectly valid. No one has to like it.
But again, unless the actors are being roped into anything, are made feeling uncomfortable, or people do shit like attack Aurora for being with Vlam (to my knowledge none of this has happened, and I hope to god that it never will!), and as long as it's strictly kept in fandom circles, I have no issues with it.
You stopped identifying as bisexual but you shouldn't throw us all under the bus
And this is the part of your ask where I got angry and irritated and then really upset. What the everloving fuck are you talking about???
Last time I checked (THIS VERY SECOND), I'm as bisexual as ever. I've fought fucking hard to claim that label for myself, and just bc I also happen to identify as demi/gray-A, that doesn't make me any less bisexual.
Demi for me is just an additional identifier that describes a little more closely how I feel. I don't identify as asexual tho. I love and cherish the ace community, and I feel very close to them, but I am 100% bisexual, and no one gets to tell me I'm not. Fucking hell. How dare you!
Srsly, I'm so pissed about this. Do you have any idea how hard it is to come to terms with how you feel, how fucking hard it is to find labels that might fit, and then claim any of them for yourself, always doubting, always worrying you're not "bi enough"?
And then some holier-than-thou queer police asshole on the internet comes along and tells you you're not what you know is your truth? Don't ever do that to anyone else, it fucking sucks.
Thanks for making me angry and upset, I really didn't need that today (or any other day).
And really, where and how am I "throwing anyone under the bus"??? The way I identify has nothing to do with this blog, the way I post, and least of all with whether anyone thinks Vlamburn are more than friends/colleagues.
Man, next time you consider sending an ask like this to someone you claim you "love", think again. And then don't type any of this BS into a tiny box and send it to a real person.
Thanks for making an otherwise happy day unnecessarily more shitty.

I understand that your only source of representation is through Jughead, so how do you feel about people who ship him with other characters? Would you want them to stop?
i mean in an ideal world? absolutely yes
that said, i'm well aware i can't control much about the world outside of my own personal bubble, and people who ship jughead with other characters but stick to their own space aren't the biggest problem here? i'm not gonna go on a crusade to tear down any sectors of the archie and/or riverdale fandom with jughead ships, because honestly that sounds way too tiring and like, i'm sure i have things that i like to think and write about that other people would find infuriating, i don't wanna be a hypocrite and insist my way of doing fandom is the only way to do fandom
and the same goes for other fictional characters that are strongly implied to be aro/ace but 95% of the fandom has ships with them in, it gets on my nerves, but it isn't majorly harmful
the biggest problem, honestly, when it comes to jughead specifically, is riverdale, for bringing archie comics back into the public consciousness and pretending to be supportive of lgbt+ rights, and then at the same time erasing jughead's canon sexuality. like, this has been less of a problem in recent years bc from what i've seen the show has made a fool of itself in lots of other ways? but for people who do still watch it, just remember, no matter how many gay characters they include, they do not support this community. they include gay characters because it's become socially acceptable to include one or two and pretend like you're a paragon of representation. they're not. they're cowards who do not care about us
but when it comes to fandom, here's what is a problem when dealing with aro/ace representation, and things i'd like all fandoms to work on:
stop assuming that everyone needs sex or romance to be complete, stop assuming that any kind of positive relationship between two non-related characters must be romantic. like please. im so tired. people exist in this world who would be actively worse off in any romantic/sexual relationship, even a loving one, than they would be on their own. acknowledge these people exist, and maybe, just maybe, consider them in your sexuality headcanoning. (do you know how much it hurts to see someone make a sexuality headcanon page of a fandom with like 20+ characters and all of them are gay bi or pan? like representation for all of those are great as well, you should include them, but don't do so at the cost of excluding us. if your only reasoning behind headcanoning a character as bi is "they have Bi Vibes and I Want To", why is it so hard to make one or two of them ace or aro or both?)
people who have no interest in the opposite gender are both gay and aro/ace coded. it's something i've found constantly, whenever even a hint of aro/ace representation shows up, there's gonna be a very loud section of the fandom who insists they can't be aro/ace because they're gay coded, and making them aro/ace would deny representation. these people's only argument? they showed no interest in the opposite (binary) gender. guess what guys! that can be both! and insisting it's only gay is honestly aphobic as fuck and you will instantly lose my respect
same goes for characters who in canon show no interest in anyone at all. you'd think this would be a stronger argument for them being aro/ace than for them being gay, but not for these people! and like, this isn't me saying gay people can't relate to characters, of course do what makes you feel better, but i'm just asking for you to make space for us and acknowledge we're here. let the people with aro/ace headcanons feel just as acknowledged and validated as the people with gay headcanons, instead of shunned and like no one wants them around
(i still lose followers any time i make an aro/ace positive post. which honestly only makes me more incentivised to keep doing it. i'm here i'm queer and i'm not going anywhere, the hill i've chosen to die on is protecting younger aro/ace people and fighting for their rights and good luck knocking me down)
this does include the archie fandom, by the way. i'm assuming you sent this because you saw my post from 3-4 years ago about jughead being canonically aro/ace? well, there are plenty of people who angrily told me that jughead, a character explicitly said in the text to be aro/ace, was gay coded and i was being homophobic. like fucking stop it.
if you're genuinely interested in being a good ally to aro/ace people, and i really do appreciate that you've asked this!! here's a few things you (and the fandom at large) can do:
make space for aro/ace people in your headcanons, even if you're not aro/ace yourself. honestly, while this is a personal opinion, i don't even mind if your understanding of what being aro/ace is is slightly wrong? i mean if you wanna explore that in depth, doing research is better than not doing research (my ask box is always open), but i'm just happy to see anyone be inclusive, those people are the good people in my book
make space for aro/ace people in your jokes and memes. we like to have fun too! i'm still never really gonna get over the gay alignment chart meme, like... they had two separate squares for gay and lesbian, one for bi/pan, and none for aro or ace. that pretty much sums up everything wrong with representation at the moment. if you had to stick to three for the sake of the meme template, gay/lesbian, bi/pan, and aro/ace would have been much fairer. and yeah it's just a meme but like... we shouldn't only be on people's minds when things are serious
stop making all your aro/ace headcanons jokes. don't headcanon horrible real life people as aro/ace. be careful that your aro/ace headcanons aren't entirely children or robots. like, you can headcanon those characters as aro/ace, but if you're exclusively doing that, you're not really seeing us as people
(i have... complicated thoughts about spongebob apparently being canonically aro/ace. but i wouldn't hold that up as the pinnacle of representation)
(also despite many assholes' insistence to the contrary, being aro/ace isn't an 18+ identity. if a 12 year old can be gay a 12 year old can be aroace. they may not have discovered the sexual part yet but they can still know the romantic part. every sexuality goes through this same persecution why are even gay people still passing it down)
aro/ace people can be happy, well adjusted, non traumatised adults! many of us are! go make some headcanons of that!
while just aro or just ace people definitely do exist, and you can headcanon characters as such, some of us don't split those labels (i just use aroace for myself bc it's one thing, like how bisexual and biromantic people just go by bi). make sure you have some aro/ace people in the mix there, and you're not falling into the pitfall of using our identities only to make Gay Lite(TM)
don't let people walk all over us. we had a really thriving community back in 2013, and then the exclusionists came in and completely wiped it out. i saw it happen. they've faded into the background but only because 90% of aro/ace people are now scared to speak up on their own behalf. encourage aro/ace people to share their experiences if they want to, encourage aro/ace headcanons where you see them, make sure your fandom is a space where aro/ace people want to be. and if you see people being exclusionists (laughing at aro/ace people like they're cringy, pretending like aro/ace people are stealing non existent resources from gay people, or calling aro/ace people homophobic for existing are big weapons of the exclusionists), don't pretend it's just an argument or "discourse", let them know they don't belong. we can only fight so hard on our own behalf, we're a community for a reason. we're in this together
research, read, and most importantly, have fun with it. that's what fandom's for. if the only way you get enjoyment out of characters is by putting them in ships, try exploring a different, non romantic angle, and see what happens. encourage different forms of relationships. encourage aro/ace characters who are happy and secure in their own identity. encourage aro/ace characters having the same emotions as everyone else, just without the being attracted to people part. we're cool people! and ultimately, ship what you want. but just remember we're here, we're desperately in need of representation, and we can't make that happen on our own

Unpopular opinions part two🤪
1. Old Kpop fans deserve their respect.
They were here before it was ‘cool’ or ‘normal’ for them to like Korean pop. Before it was accepted. Before the ‘Korean wave’ was a thing. They were here before Vlive, world tours and merch. They were here and have watched many idols go to the millitray, multiple scandals and disbandments. Pls be aware of how young you are as a fan to the entire industry as a whole. Esp since it was prob an elder Kpop fan that put you on and made the fan culture was it is today: more accessible to fans all over the world.
2. A lot of the hype in America for Kpop isn’t genuine....
The shows that include BTS and stuff only did it to get a boost in ratings. If you honestly think Ellen and John Cena are armys....I got some bad news for you. It’s literally just white men at board meetings looking at what teenagers think is hot at the moment. Also, if you honestly think BTS was gonna get that Grammy.....sis no. Maybe in the future but like Kpop isn’t recognized as ‘real’ music yet.
3. Big Bangs’ Top needs to come back.
His scandal wasn’t even that bad tbh. He smoked some weed with a one of his bitches🤷🏻‍♀️ his name literally stands for ‘The Orginal Pimp’. Like we know he had hoes, just like any other famous guy idol. And she was a total social climber who tried to defame him, this was proven by the outrageous things she did after the TOP scandal calmed down. So all the bad things she said about him should be taken with a grain of salt. Personally, weed isn’t a big deal esp since we apparently got rapists out here now👀 but in Korea it is a big deal. Still he reflected and has been quiet for like 2 years now. How long should he punish himself for? He was one of the best rappers out here🤧😩
4. The big three are the big three for a reason.
SM, JYP and YG are some of the oldest companies that have been around with the most distinct style and influence. The amount of revolutionary groups to come from those companies alone is i n s a n e. Being the big three isn’t about money, so ppl saying BigHit outsold so them so they are bigger than the three, is just wrong. The big three have been doing this consistently before some of you hoes were even born and produced amazing groups over and over again. BigHit’s success is new, and they only have one big and successful group at the moment. Give it some time🤷🏻‍♀️
5. Fan service is a thing.....just thought you should know
In Korea, idols are taught to please their fans by any means necessary......this includes acting very cutesy and clingy with certain members. Yes.....some of your opts are for show.....they know what they’re doing.....😬
6. BlackPink’s Jennie was being lazy
Sis......you’re a whole barrel of laughs if you honestly think that we’re all just haters who decided to attack her out of the blue. When she was being dragged for her rude faces, I defended her bc some resting faces are just naturally aloof looking. But c’mon. Y’all really trying to play the mental health excuse or the tired excuse when all her solo activities actually had energy??? It’s rude bc all her members actually pulled through🤷🏻‍♀️ no hate to her but sis was lacking🤷🏻‍♀️
7. Some Ideal Types are kinda.....weird? Idk lemme explain
I know that having an ideal type is kind of a given in Korea but can we talk?? I think the whole descriptions of the the types given by some of these idols is kinda.....VERY FUCKING DETAILED? Like the weight and stuff. And no hate, it’s okay to have a preference but I wanna talk to some of these fans. I literally watched some fans change their entire persona for their bias. My sister even tried starving herself for a bit bc someone said Taehyung perfered girls who were like 90-100 pounds. Please guys, don’t take that stuff to heart......
8. Facemasks literally don’t do anything
Not necessarily Kpop but Kbeauty. Ummm....dermatologists even admit that it doesn’t do anything to your skin. It can make ur skin feel nice for a short period, but in the long run you are actually doing more harm than good to your skin......just think about that next time you wanna buy a facemask.
9. Be careful with Kbeauty.....there’s a fine line to walk
If your eyeliner is meant to make your eyes look Asian.....it’s cultural appropriation. If you’re using bb cream or foundation that’s way lighter than your actual skin.......that’s colorism. Also trying to give yourself aeygo bags is kinda fetishizing a feature that many Asians have. Just don’t. Work with what you have instead of tryna became a whole other race. 🤦🏻‍♀️
10. AOMG should become the new YG
YG is so fucking problematic these days, it’s sad really bc they were that one company that was all about hip hop and ‘dark’ concepts. I think they were even called the black label out of the big three 🤔 so they are def taking a hit with all these scandals they got rn. I got to thinking....what other company is all about hip hop and more rap driven whilst having a good management/ceo? AOMG! Jay Park is literally so nice and all the artists under them have so much creative freedom and make good music. If Jay Park made a boy group or a girl group?? It’d be fucking over for YG! Y’all should blow up Jay Parks dm’s and ask for a group debut 🤪

pinterest  !
i  was  gonna  write  a  fancy  nice  intro  but  it  was  taking  too  much  time  so  you  get  this  rambly  mess
if  u  get  adam  parrish  vibez  from  this  intro  thats  …,,  very  valid  sdkfsk  he  is  a  large  character  inspo
from  the  moment  edward  tonks  was  born,  he  was  ted.  just  ted.  it  suited  him  better,  the  scrawny  premature  baby  that  he  was,  born  into  a  family  not  made  of  money,  but  something  that  was  equal  parts  desperation  and  love
ted’s  family  didn’t  have  much,  and  they  had  even  less  when  his  dad  left  their  family  when  ted  was  only  ten  for  a  woman  he’d  been  seeing  on  the  side
suffice  to  say  ted  doesn’t  like  his  father  very  much
so  his  mother  was  left  working  double  shifts  bagging  groceries  at  tesco  to  try  and  provide  for  ted  &  his  younger  sister  nora  (  five  years  younger  than  ted  so  she  was  five  when  their  dad  left,  and  sixteen  now  ),  and  ted  helped  out  as  much  as  he  could
when  ted  was  growing  up,  he  was  a  lot  more  creative  &  idealistic  than  he  is  now.  he  used  to  write  a  lot  especially  !  creative  short  stories,  thoughtful  op-ed  pieces,  tongue-in-cheek  poetry,  drawing  inspiration  from  the  most  unlikely  of  places
he  didn’t  grow  up  in  a  super  wealthy  part  of  dublin,  and  so  his  elementary  school  was  underfunded  and  understaffed,  the  teachers  overworked  and  the  students  unmotivated,  but  ted  was  the  kid  who  everyone  expected  to  make  something  of  himself
he  actually  had  some  of  his  writing  published  in  a  young  authors  collection !  wow  go  ted
anyways  and  then  his  dad  left  and  then  hogwarts  happened  and  ted  had  to  deal  with  all  the  shit  that  comes  from  being  a  lower  class  muggleborn  slytherin  and  he  stopped  writing  as  much
he  kept  his  head  high  though,  proud  and  stubborn  as  fuck,  and  kept  his  hand-me-down  uniform  impeccably  ironed  and  washed  and  folded  neatly  in  his  drawer
ted  is  slytherin  as  Fuck  btw.  like  this  isn’t  me  sorting  him  into  slytherin  for  a  Fun  New  Twist  (  well  it  is  but  also  i  couldn’t  see ted  being  in  any  other  house  )
he  is  ambitious  and  clever  and  self-preserving  and  resourceful  and  competitive  and  charming  and  ruthless  and  family-oriented
now  ted  is  tall  and  serious  and  sharp-edged,  a  far  cry  from  the  sickly  baby  he  once  was,  but  the  name’s  still  stuck.  ted,  a  soft  name  from  a  softer  time.  the  only  hint  there’s  still  remnants  of  whimsy  left  in  this  boy
he  was  chosen  to  be  a  slytherin  prefect  and  wears  the  title  with  pride  !  takes  no  shit  but  does  no  harm.  he  especially  keeps  an  eye  out  for  the  few  other  slytherin  muggleborns  at  hogwarts
i’d  think  he’s  probably  pretty  well  liked  at  hogwarts  –  probably  known  for  keeping  a  level  head  and  a  clever  tongue.  he  knows  how  to  make  people  like  him  & uses  it  to  his  advantage
forgive  and  forget  ?  ted  doesn’t  know  her.  resent  and  remember
we  can  see  the  chip  on  your  shoulder  ted
he’s  considerate  and  warm  but  like  …  he  won’t  go  out  of  his  way  to  stand  up  for  muggle  rights  or  anything.  it’s  that  Politics  Mood  where  no  matter  what  he  does,  it  never  seems  to  make  a  difference.  so  in  typical  slytherin  fashion  he’s  just  focusing  on  himself  now,  aiming  to  get  a  cushy  job  in  the  ministry
little  bit  over-focused  on  money  but  that’s  what  happens  when  you  don’t  grow  up  with  it
like  he’d  absolutely  take  a  lucrative  but  boring  job  he  doesn’t  like  over  a  poorly  paying  job  he  loves  (  right  now  at  least  ).  he’s  cynical  like  that.  do  you  think  he’s  taking  wizarding  law  bc  he  enjoys  it  ?  nah.  it’s  for  those  galleonsss
probably  has  had  at  max  one  serious  relationship,  maybe  a  couple  shorter  flings,  but  ted  is  way  too  focused  on  his  independence  to  be  a  good  boyfriend  tbh
idk  why  but  nfwmb  by  hozier  gives  me  strong  ted  vibes  ?
capricorn  sun  cancer  moon
lawful  neutral  in  the  most  slytherin  way  possible.  this  boy  knows  how  to  find  loopholes
intj  as  fuck  !!  i  gave  him  the  label  the  architect  just  cause  i  was  feeling  it  for  him  and  then  just  now  i  was  like  hm  what  mbti  type  is  ted  ?  he  seems  like  an  intj.  and  lo  and  behold  the  mbti  role  for  intj  is  the  architect
he  likes  tea  but  not  coffee
someone  please  make  him  less  cynical  n  teach  him  there’s  still  good  in  the  world
anyways  this  was  rambly  but  pls  love  him

I know it's a lot! But all of the 65 questions you aren't used to!! I love getting to know the blogs I follow!
Okay love! The last one was a freebie so I guess I’ll just leave that one out haha.
1. Do you ever doubt the existence of others than you?
Na, usually it’s the opposite for me. I don’t feel important enough to be real.
2. On a scale of 1-5, how afraid of the dark are you?
Maybe a 3? I don’t mind the dark as long as my imagination isn’t getting the best of me, which it usually is. I always have my little touch-activated lamp in my room left on at the dimmest setting at night.
3. The person you would never want to meet?
Donald Trump.
4. What is your favorite word?
Drumonios. It’s an Ancient Greek epithet of Artemis, and it means “haunting the woods.” (hey, no one said English word)
5. If you were a type of tree, what would you be?
*in Monty Python voice* THE LARCH
No, but in all seriousness, I’d be a willow. So gentle and comforting, like the tree leaning over to hug you and give you shade.
6. When you looked in the mirror this morning what was the first thing you thought?
Yikes.
7. What shirt are you wearing?
A black shirt with images of moon phases that says “to the moon and back”
8. What do you label yourself as?
Is this a gender/sexual identity question??? Cuz if not I could label myself as anything. But genderwise I’m a cis female and orientation-wise I’m lesbian, biromantic, possibly somewhere on the ace spectrum?
9. Bright room or dark room?
Dark room. Or mostly dark. Dim with a yellowish lamp because I hate white lights.
10. What were you doing at midnight last night?
Talking to my gf on the phone.
11. Favorite age you’ve been so far?
tbh this year, 19. My anxiety’s been better than it ever was. I haven’t been actively suicidal at all this year. I’m just in a better place all around.
12. Who told you they loved you last?
Probably my mom?
13. Your worst enemy?
Myself
14. What is your current desktop picture?
Tumblr media
15. Do you like someone?
Romantically? My girlfriend. In general? Everyone who hasn’t crossed me.
16. The last song you listened to?
Right now I’m listening to LA Devotee by Panic! At The Disco :)
17. You can press a button that will make any one person explode. Who would you blow up?
Donald Trump, while he’s in a cabinet meeting so it blows up everyone else there too
18. Who would you really like to just punch in the face?
Donald Trump or my ex
19. If anyone could be your slave for a day, who would it be and what would they have to do?

Curing light- The first feature to check is the curing light of the lamps. Today, there two main types of curing light which is the UV light and the LED lamp. UV light is affordable and it can be used in almost all types of nail lacquers. However, users are exposed to radiation when using UV light. Meanwhile, LED lamps are costly and it can only dry a special kind of nail lacquer just like a gel and shellac coat. Either way, always read the product label first so you will be guided in your shop.
Power source-The next feature is the power source. It is better to choose products that go with an adapter and can be plugged easily. Battery operated nail lamps are costly and you need to replace the batteries every time you use it.
Time settings– Another important reminder is to choose the time settings of the lamp. It is best if the lamp has multi-settings such as 10 seconds, 30 seconds, or 60 seconds. With this, you can be able to adjust the heat and protect yourself from a burn or any pain from the lamp.
Design-The last feature to check is the design of the product. Choose nail lamps that are bigger so your hands and feet can fit in the product. Also, choose those that are lightweight and handy so you can bring it anytime, anywhere.
These are some of the features to look out for when buying a nail lamp or nail dryer. If you are still confused about what type of product to buy, you can always consult the expert. They are always ready to help you and assist you in your needs.
Conclusion
In sum, nail aesthetics is one of the biggest trends today. People are loving it not just because they wanted to keep their nails clean and healthy but also to put colors in their life.
