Sometimes when I lie in bed and need to go to the toilet, I think of that time we had to come up with a floor plan for a 25m^2 student apartment in art class and my teacher deducted a whole 3 points (a whole grade, basically) because the distance from the bed to the toilet was too high.

It was... maybe 5 or 6 meters?

If I got up now to go to the toilet, it would be a 12m-15m walk.

#I haven't pissed myself on my way there yet but hey #maybe she knows something I don't #I still have no clue how that's too short #the 12+ meters have never been an issue??? #like 8 by 2.5 meters with some vertical support #she also once gave me a 12/15 for a drawing of a pencil sharpener with no explanation for why she deducted points #back then I thought she knew something I didn't but I compared with my (now) ex who also had her as a teacher #he got a 15/15 on the sharpener and it's not really... better than mine >:c #I'm pretty sure at this point she graded me worse for no good reason #I also had to design a building to hold the apartments and my initial design had corridors facing an inner courtyard #with the wall having large glass panes to look at the courtyard from inside #like 4 by 2 meters or something like that #and she told me it's unrealistic and walls like that don't exist #anyway my bf's parents have a house with a wall facing the garden that is almost entirely glass #about 8 by 2.5 with a few vertical support struts #exactly what I was envisioning back then #...man fuck her #I had thought about studying art before her
