Summary: Draco has everything needed to be the diamond of the season. He has the looks, the pedigree, and if he should be short on the money end, well, it isn't up to him to convince anyone they want to marry him. And yet, he finds himself with no prospects and no suitable matches until Harry James Potter, Wizarding Britain's Most Eligible Bachelor, makes his first appearance in proper Wizarding society for the first time in five years. Together, they hatch a plan to secure Draco a husband and keep the debutantes' mothers away from Harry. And if someone should develop feelings along the way, well, the course of true love never did run smooth.

Notes: First of all, a huge thank you to the fest mods for all the help they provided, and for always bringing out such a wonderful fest for us to partake in. And thank you to S for the beta and suggestion, you really cleaned this up, especially all the parts where it's obvious my brain wasn’t working well and it showed in the writing lol bless you I took a lot of liberty with the plot, so it ended up being quite different from the movie. I also changed up some of the character names because I will always associate those names with the image in the movie lol Before reading, I suggest looking at these (Apep, Nut, Ba) links on AO3! They are myths I drew inspiration from, just looking at the pictures would make some parts of the story clearer bc let’s be honest, I suck at describing them 🙃 Lastly, thank you for reading.
