Linked Universe - Age Headcanons

So... based on the official age question post, I have decided to make my own opinions and headcanons of the boys known.

^^That's the post I refer to anyways.^^

So, going by that order:

Time: Mid to end thirties. Got no exact number but he's dad material. Will not elaborate.

Warriors: 21/22. Definitely Adult.

Twilight: 19. Likewise Adult, but younger adult cuz of the tags in that one Wolfie and Four post saying "I'll let you know you're not that much older than me", which also could be the usual overestimation of youth or simply not wanting the kid treatment Wind suffers.

Sky: 17/18. The age list I linked above said Twilight and Sky are close in age. But he is also still in older teenagers category. So...this.

Wild: (1)17. He is canonically AT LEAST 17 as otherwise he wouldn't be allowed to visit the Spring of Wisdom with his Zelda who had to wait for her 17th birthday to go there. And we know he went there with her...so 17. Cuz gotta keep the order.

Legend: 16/17. Older Teenager but also still teenager. Had way too many adventures (HC: started with nine). Let him be snarky and mature but also a teenager at times. Thanks.

Hyrule: 15/16. Though I feel more in the direction of sixteen cuz AoL says he's 16, I think. Correct me if I'm wrong though.

Four: 14/15. This is a young teenager. Second youngest of the group. I even estimate him more in the 14 of that listing cuz there's a four in it. He isn't an adult. Maturity does not equal age. His "don't call me kid" is understandable as a teenager especially who would not want to be treated like a child anymore and insists on more freedom and rights. But he is a teenager, a mature teenager, yes, but a teenager. Thanks.

Wind: 13. This one we actually learn in the Malon comics. He says almost 14 but that doesn't change he is 13 still currently. A babey™ that will curse, drink alcohol and stick a sword in your head if you dare touch his family.

What Haunts you

Standing there, with a cup of tea before him, I can see the dark circles under his eyes. He sitting there longer then usual. His gaze is off in a far off place. Filled with who knows where. A sadness? Terrified? I Mean most the lads in our chain suffer nightmares. Nothing new. Majority of them never talk about it. Brushing it off as something else. However our resident rancher makes it his duty to help them when they do. However who comes to him? Who help ease his? It hasn’t gone unnoticed to my own watchful eye. The snoring, then the turning over and his snores turn to soft stuttered breathing. The whimpering. As if suffering a great unknown pain. Curled up into himself. You even would say he must of relaxed when you spot the drool leaking from his slack mouth. However know, he wakes with a sudden and groans, wiping the drool away and looking ashamed. He then frustratingly will get up saying he is just going off for a leak, but really he goes off to sob frustratingly at his inability to get a proper amount of of sleep. When he returns, its no better. His mood is sour. Sleep fighting to return. Spotting the tears glistening from the edge of his eyes, running down his cheeks. Malon was always good with helping with my own sleepless nights. Nightmares. Helping ease me back to sleep with softly humming. Holding and gently stroking my hair. All the way till I seem to fall back to sleep. Does my boy have anyone like that back home for him. To give him comfort when his sleep becomes less then just dreamers of climbing trees, watching fairies dancing across the pools of water in a spring. A gentle touch or stroke of a loving person or has he harden to to the burden of his title. The adventure he didn’t ask for.

I crouch down before him and gently clear my throat. I watch as his sapphire blue eyes look back at mine. I can read and see it all. The pain, the horror and lose he has experienced. He softly smiles, as those images suddenly just get locked away, His hand taking the cup of tea. “Sorry, was lost in thought. Thank you Old man.” I take a seat beside him, with my own cup. As I watch him bring the cup to his lips. Sipping it slowly. I reach out and place my hand again his back. Giving it a gently rub. I know there is nothing I can do to take away what haunts his sleep. I at least can try to help be there, or reassure him. I am here. You only have to ask. I felt him take in that deep intake of air, then let it out. His eyes closing only briefly. Everyone else seem to be getting up equally quietly as our resident chef goes about making up a quick breakfast for us all. Wind finally disturbing the peace and quiet with excitedly bouncing about at the sight of food being made. The grumbling groan from our Veteran asking for the octal tone being turned down. The soft chuckles coming from traveler and sky, helping with food prep. The Captain then taking charge in distracting the sailor. Then the smithy being his own quiet self reserving his energy to look over the gear and epona’s shoes. Though I spot a soft smile on the Pup’s face, the lack of sleep and dreams have not faced from his mind. I gently ruffle his hair. His gaze looking back at me. I playfully boop the nose which looks identical to my wife’s and grin at him. “I am here for you pup. You don’t have to face your dreams alone. Okay?”

“Okay.”
