I am never not disappointed that 'Angel's Love Bad Men' (Highwaymen) isn't 'Angel's Are Bad Men'- cuz that's what I always thought it was growing up! I never saw the title, it was just a song that played over and over again on a CD in my Dads car.

But I always thought it was 'Angel's Are Bad Men'!! And I like it so much better that way!! Like, I thought it was talking about how Angel's love so deeply and freely, and fall so easily, that they leave a trail of broken hearts wherever they go because by the time that last person has fallen for them back- they've moved on to the next one.

I thought the line was-

'Angel's are bad men that's how its always been

Love holds their hearts against their will'

But it's 'Angel's love bad men that's how it's always been

Love holds their hearts against their will'

Which is far less compelling if you ask me (Sorry gentlemen). I like the idea of cowboy angels going around charming and breaking poor human's hearts, not because they're evil but because they cant help it; their emotions are so strong. So I'm just gonna keep singing it my way 😅😅
