So. As you can see, I played with the Horse Ranch EP a bit.

My opinion is pretty similar to most people's (and pretty similar to my opinion of most packs over the last few years): yes, it's pretty, but it's a bit empty in terms of gameplay. For me, there are too few new features, too many things takes place in rabbit holes, and apart from animals and nectar making, there are hardly any items with new interactions. In just a few hours of play, I already feel like I've seen everything the pack has to offer.

And yes, obviously, the new objects look good (with great wood textures), Chestnut Ridge is really detailed (but so lifeless, the town centre with all those fake buildings feels like a ghost town), and the interactions with the animals are cute… but is that enough?

I can't say I didn't have fun during the short time I tested the Horse Ranch pack in live mode with Rayane, or when I created the builds I shared with you these last few days. And I know that the people who worked on this pack did their best with the resources they had to deliver a great experience (I'd never question that). But at the end, I clearly can't recommend buying it at full price.

Voilà, that's all for me. I also feels like I need to take a little break now, so I may be a bit quiet for a while (I may share some sims before leaving, but I'm not sure yet!). Anyway, have fun everyone!

10 hours of redecorating this house of a new save i did,,, I need to post it because i usually don't decorate, it takes me so long bc I get fixated on making it look good 😭

The Star Lamp Collection - ALL FREE DOWNLOADS!

So far I have made pentagram and hexagram star lamp which will be available both as a wall lamp/sconce and as a lamp hanging from the ceiling. If there is any interest for further color/pattern options I will love to hear it. Furthermore, if there is any issues please let me know;)

PS! the lamps have been fixed so that they wont disappear in livemode! meaning you can actually use them for decorations and not just lighting!

im like so happy i redownloaded everything for ts3 cuz like after about 5000hrs on ts4 like i can say that the majority of that wasnt in livemode it was cas/buildbuy and just setting up the universe for a story or id mod it to shit in the medieval way and actually have some gameplay fun

but with ts3 like i have nraas anddd...like...? just the packs/store content/vanilla series tbh(u can get all this free plz never buy anything) anyway thats all and like bro i have 0 storylines preplanned anymore im just vibin w my sims like the OG created bro has a goal in mind maybe an vague plot idea but like i drop it whenever another choice makes more sense for that sim and its just been

I didn't get early access this time, I could only start playing today! I think it's going to be a complicated pack to test, it adds content to everyday life, hard to know at the moment if it will be a must-have pack or not (if you're a family player, I guess so!). Anyway, I started to play a bit with the infants, which I found a bit disappointing in the update, but they become much more interesting with the pack (which is a problem for me, some additional features could have been included in the base game, like the changing table). I still have a lot of aspects of the pack to explore, but I'd like to do it in my own time!

Nothing special to say about the content of the CAS or the buy/build mode, it's... fine. Glad to see they created more assets for the male fashion preference this time (well, except for the hairstyles). I'm not very enthusiastic about the world, I think I'm tired of these american inspired cities mostly filled with fake buildings, where almost nothing is interactive, and with few passers-by. I really miss the smaller neighborhoods, with buildable lots next to each other, it was much more lively! 

I don't know if I'm going to play much more for now, I'm already thinking about the almost 300 sims I shared in the gallery that I'll have to update! And when it's done, I will finally be able to enjoy the Live Mode (well, for an hour or two maybe, before starting a new build)! 

Oh, and by the way, I made a quick update of my eyes replacement, it should works for infants now!

Arms Dealing Mod In The Making

I completed meshing a solid amount of firearms that will be used for my upcoming project. They turned out fairly well I think. Now I began working on the script. So far just made them dragabble in livemode and able to put them inside your sims inventory.

First, my main goal with this project is to make a functional Arms Dealing activity. Where you can illegally sell firearms to sims and rabbit holes with the potential of consequences. Such as being shot during a deal gone wrong. Fined, arrested, or being given the death penalty if caught by law enforcement.

A sim who participates in this risky endeavor will have a few options of obtaining firearms to sell. They can go to either the police station or military to bribe their way into getting a one time supply of firearms for a fee. They would also have the option of setting up a deal with someone from either the police station or military, where they pay a weekly fee for a daily supply of firearms. They will of course have to collect these. Each time being a different location to collect their batch supply. They can also buy from another Arms Dealer sim. Or if they are feeling bold they can steal their supply. 

After the Arms Dealer Sim has their supply to sell. They can sell individual guns to other sims. They also have the option to sell their firearms in batches to rabbit holes. Selling them in batches will be where the money is at. However, that’s where the most risk will be at as well.

Besides the Illegal side of Arms Dealing. I would like to make a gunsmithing skill for sims who would like to craft firearms and sell them legally. These sims would need to take a test in order to get a permit to start crafting. If they pass then they will be able to gain the gunsmithing skill. Where they can slowly start crafting firearms, and sell them to the police station and military base legally. Although, at a much slower profit compared to their illegal counterparts.

I am rather excited to work on the mod. As I always thought it would be fun to play a sim who takes a lot of risk. Anyway, I mainly wrote this to write my ideas and thoughts down for main features I want to implement for the mod.

Allegra decided to stop taking her birth control, but they were still being careful. Even still Allegra thought she might be pregnant, and so the wedding was pushed forward. Rather than having the ceremony at the Middleground Chapel like his father and grandfather, Sheldon thought it was best not to travel and so they decided to just have an intimate ceremony in the backyard. It was lovely and the whole family turned up! Immediately afterwards, Allegra started to show and her nausea and vomiting miraculously stopped.
