Me and @lu-zijing made a breakdown of the season 5 LMK trailer with all our thoughts and theories in it, and its currently being edited together.

Welcome to another episode of Dija's hot takes! Where I share my opinions on things in hopes I don't get canceled. Feel free to disagree or engage in further discussion, as long as you remain respectful! I love interacting with you guys :)

I'm not a fan of the traffic light trio. There's nothing bad about it. I don't hate it. I'm not telling people to stop shipping/putting them together in anyway. They're just not my thing. Here's why!

My main reason is that Red Son is multiple generations older than Mei and MK. He is in jttw- and he has faught swk in jttw. And he's gotten time out at guanyin's summer camp/lh. Meanwhile, MK and Mei aren't that old. I don't even think they're immortal. Do note, just because MK is a stone monkey doesn't mean he is immortal. Wukong didn't gain immortality til he actively went on to search for it cus he had an existential crisis. And Mei... well- I don't think I need to explain why she isn't immortal, lol. Anyway. Point is Red Son is the only one who is.

Personally I like trio-ing him with Xi'an(fan name for acolyte from lmk) and Chenxiang. They're silly, hehe.
