I noticed something in the "benched" episode of Lmk, during the talent show, Mk's painted face markings have small red spikes at the end of them. And then there's macaque who ALSO has spiky face markings. AND BOTH OF THEM ARE RED

It could just maybe be some foreshadowing or some type of hint?? Because otherwise they could've just given Mk a heart or a rounded face painting like wukong, but they didnt

Idk my brain is still in its harbinger and soldier phase and I haven't seen people other than myself talking abt it lol

He also has red face markings in some of the Lego Sets!

And fun update ig: I just went to a lego convention yesterday!

I saw lego friends, city, ninjago, lego movie

But no monkie kid.

And under normal circumstances I would've gone and went feral there but sadly my pikachu was leaking strawberry jam and it thunderbolted my tummy so I spent most of the convention clutching my stomach in agony

Currently thinking about Wukong’s expression during this moment

I mean. C’mon. Look at his face when he sees Ink Demon Macaque (who is currently being strangled by his own shadows) screaming in agony

I am once again demanding to know what happened 😭 in my animatic I portrayed it like Wukong just killed him but it’s necessary for people to know that I’m not quite sure that’s what happened. I’ve been entertaining the possibility that he didn’t kill Macaque at all, but in fact fought him, then let him die while he watched, having no idea what to do to help
