MK and Xiaotian will celebrate New years together (Till Spider Queen attacks). His parents will be sad monkeys on a stone who think about their first new years without Xiaotian ever since he was born. Xiaotian will be sad as well but happy to finally see the parade and spend New Years with MK.

Oh YOU KNOW it's gonna happen ;-; Every holiday they have always spent together will be apart this time. Both sides aren't alone, but there is an empty place in their hearts that just doesn't make the moment the same.

There were shenanigans when it came to you all getting together

Wukong (in disguise)saw you when dropping by Pigsy’s and bout damn near tripped over his feet when he saw you in the booth in the corner. You were the only one on a slow day so you caught his attention and bro was about to forget trading with MK and try to talk with you

He didn’t though

Macaque (also in disguise) first saw you when going to a play and seeing you a few rows behind him. He was caught off guard with your height, and you piqued his interest

He then talked you up when you went to get snacks during intermission. You responded politely and such, and he noted how noted on how mellow you seemed

Now, in hindsight sight, these two should have seen this coming

Wukong finally approached you when he dropped by Pogys and you were eating your weekly lunch there. He started to chat you up, and again you responded politely

You got his number, and this dude was all hyped and went to Macaque to share his excitement cough brag cough

Macaque clocked your name, and asked a few more questions

Now he really wanted to get a date first to shove in Wukongs face

Through various shenanigans, you all settled and they are now both dating you

NOW THE HCS

You are in the middle of every cuddle pile. Doesn’t matter who’s hot, who’s cold, you’re in the middle

Macaque likes to wrap his tail around your waist

Wukong prefers your leg

You are the glue that is holding their sanities. They keep their anger in check when you’re around. You help calm them down as well

Only Wukong has hoodies. Macaque only has scarves. You bundle up with both

They will steal all your hoodies. Your closet is empty because of that

Anytime you tell a funny story, these two sit down and listen because you don’t talk about yourself much so they want to soak up every little detail.

Date night movie is anything other than movies about Wukong. Their favorite the one they can agree on one to watch the Princess and the Frog. Why? I don’t know. It’s a good movie at least

You deal with the public speaking. Macaque hates to and Wukong is that one really chatty customer that won’t shut up even with a line out the door. So you do the speaking

Both have designated drawers/cabinets at your home. They constantly leave their shit over there

Both like to play pranks on you. There hasn’t been much of a reaction yet, but there will be! (They won’t try anything with your triggers or phobia that they know of, Dw)

These fucks took a long time to let their glamour down fully. You just smiled, tracing finger over their scars, and murured how brave they were. They both fell fully at that point

When in their little monkey forms, they like to use you a jungle gym. You’re tall enough for it

However, you can’t leave things on high shelves cause these bastards can and will find a way up there. And it’s gonna be some nonsense like stacking on top of each other and not use their abilities.

Anyone tried to instigate something and you can’t deescalate, they will step in.

Neither have seen you truly angry. Only have seen you very annoyed and vowed to each other not to make you pissed cause damn that’s scary

Correct me if I'm wrong cause I've never read Jttw, but I'm like 80% sure Wukong doesn't really act on romantic interests. Like I'm pretty sure he's not exactly food with romantic cues.

In fanfiction sometimes I see like a Wukong that's alot more confident in romance and actively pursues his partner. (A good chunk if the time it's Macaque)

Which is cool! Having Wukong be more active with romance is a cool concept and most fics are a good read!

I just want a fic with Wukong were he has NO IDEA what to do. Like he doesn't know how to flirt, kiss, initiate physical action like hand holding. I want to see a akward as fuck Wukong.

Cause like, if he doesn't have that much experience with romance then why would he know how to do that stuff?

I only wrote this cause I remember a post I saw that someone made about Wukong doesn't really act on romance and that logistically he wouldn't know how to kiss or be the way he is in some fanfiction.

(You could also headcannon him as AroAce. No shame, I headcanon him as Demiromantic purely because I am and I want more Demiromantic characters.)

Hello! Amazing question~

Basically, the concept is that Wukong raises MK in the human realm as a human. He does not tell MK that he is a monkey, or that he himself is the Monkey King.

Even MK’s Uncles are the pilgrims in more modern day disguises. Tang is the great monk, immortal like the others. All living in secret.

MK is living a seemingly normal life until he meets the renowned Bull Prince- unintentionally dragging MK into the spotlight of Demon and Celestial alike.

Wukong is desperate to keep his boy hidden from his enemies, the Celestial Court… and his own Mate.

Who isn’t quite the Macaque that Wukong used to know anymore. A fading husk of the beautiful Moon he once was- every passing year losing himself more and more to the forces of a third party.

So Wukong’s trying to juggle his lies to his son, and ends up being blackmailed with these lies by Princess Iron Fan herself: who threatens to tell MK everything she knows if Wukong doesn’t do exactly as she wants. (Plus, her Son has a clear crush on MK, so she is gonna ensure her son’s happiness and Wukong will not be allowed to interfere in their relationship)

All while MK is unaware. But he’s starting to put pieces together
