I hope it's okay I put both of your comments together in a new post - they're different remarks but they're also sorta related so-

Firstly I am more than happy to include fanart of any kind (edits, cosplay, ... you name it) as official women's week content if you (or anyone else) would wanna jump on that. We're a small fandom, and these events are meant to create community - I don't want to exclude a whole art section just cause it's not the kind of content I personally create. In spring I did consistently talk about content and content creators, exactly to appeal both writers and artists - and we did get some beautiful pieces and even a whole ass character tournament. And I very much want to continue to keep events open to not only writers but content creators in general.

That being said - I am a writer. I've never made a gif and as shown by my YR week edits my photoshop skills haven't gotten past a basic copy-paste. So I definitely have blind spots when it comes to art, and @loren91's remark that the prompts felt fic oriented is good to remember in the future. Maybe if any artists would be down to be a soundboard and give feedback?

so the 4th and FINAL chapter of my spiderwilmon au “Where We Come From” is FINALLY live 😭😭 im so glad to say that!! and also I can finally finally show everyone this incredible amazing show stopping art commission by @loren91 who was so nice and patient with my silly request. Tusen tack för ditt tålamod och tack för allt 💜 im just so glad to finally say its finished :)

this fic really tested me in the sense that it was a complete experiment for me. something very different style and genre to what i normally write. it was so fun to play around in this little sandbox though and to write action !! for the first time !!

The best cowriter and friend @bluedalahorse commissioned these absolutely perfect portraits from @loren91 of the Young Royals characters in our Heart and Homeland regency AU for Christmas. I love them so much!

They are!!! So good!!! Simon looks so handsome, and he has a purple waistcoat! August has a smirk and high cravat that looks like his turtleneck! Sara and Felice look so pretty, and the details on their dresses are perfect. And Wilhelm is wearing the Swedish flag colors and looks so determined, which if you've read the most recent chapter of our fic you'll know is absolutely correct for him.

I will definitely be posting these again once we have new chapters ready, but I couldn't resist posting them now because it's such a perfect Christmas gift!

Instead of making the final preparations for Christmas in Drottningholm, 21-year-old Prince Wilhelm is forced to spend the day in a Christmas Village to help out. Angry at the world, he reaches Bjärstad, where he meets the grumpy Christmas elf who is supposed to look after him. Maybe the day won't be as bad as he expected.

"It’s gonna be so much fun going to Kristallen tonight to celebrate the Swedish TV and series industry with my co-workers. Last year I found out a few days before that me and Rojda wouldn’t be allowed to get on stage to receive the award with our co-workers if we got it and it made me sad. Was on vacation with my family and had planned to get back home earlier to go [to Kristallen] but instead, we canceled. That might seem like I am spoiled and rude to think this is a big deal, be since Kristallen is the closest thing we have to the Emmy or BAFTA gala, there are no categories for script, direction, editing, score, sound, etc that highlight everybody working behind the camera to create these shows that puts Sweden the the map culturally - but only wide categories so it’s no wonder one reacts. I saw a few male directors who sat by the nominees and were not executive producers on “their” shows so there seems to be a double standard.

I also want to add that this is not about me thinking I or anyone else should be treated differently. And I understand there’s no easy solution for Kristallen, either we should have a show-gala similar to Guldbaggen (another Swedish award show, for films) where there are specific categories or you could be alternating between the years who gets to go up and receive the award. But the general rhetoric in Sweden that the audience doesn't care who works behind the camera sounds very much like the attitude around women’s football when I was a kid. If we don’t highlight that then of course no one will have a favourite scriptwriter or director like the audience in other countries does. It’s not so strange that we have such a low standard of cultural discussion around Swedish shows in Sweden."
