Took a long while; and I can’t believe I made it here!

     I hit 7,000 followers last night...And it’s--kind of amazing...Though I’ll admit that I am sad the majority of them are NOT rp blogs, (I wish they were)...But I’ll take what I can get. eheh. Rin had always been told that the summer solstice invited special magic into the world. Things that normally would seem fantastic even for the world that they live in could happen on the day. And so, Rin hoped she could find something special in the forest today. Maybe a special medicinal herb that could really help someone? Or maybe an extra yummy mushroom? Either way, she had made it her goal to search the forest as much as possible before sundown today. 

Several hours later and RIn had collected a large basket full of herb that would be very useful in her on going education in medicine from Kaede-sama. She was just going through the basket as she was walking and before she knew it she exited the forest, but not on the side of the forest that lead to the village. It was a clearing actually. The clearing that lead to the bone eaters well. How weird. Normally Rin had such a great sense of direction. But on this day it seemed like her feet had a mind of their own and they wanted to make their way to the well no matter what. With that in mind, it only took them a few moments to carry her over to the side of the old wooden well where she’d seen the last moments of Naraku along side Lord Sesshomaru not to mention Inuyasha and Kagome disappearing on them for 3 days. The old well had always help a strange fascination to her, though she tried to keep her distance out of reverence to it.

Today though something was over writing that reverence for the Bone Eaters Well. It was making her yearn to lean over the side and peek into the depths. She balanced the basket of herbs on the side of the well as she gave into her urges. It was so dark down there. She couldn’t even see the bottom at first glance. But something in her made her keep starring. And her eyes eventually adjusted. Enough to suddenly feel like something was moving down in the depths. Part of her wanted to look away. To hurry back to the comfort of Kaede’s hut and enjoy a nice warm dinner with her current guardian but something was stopping her. 

And then it happened. A weight on her back and she was tumbling over the side of the well. She didn’t even have enough time to scream before she was swallowed up by the darkness. How long was she going to fall? Several long seconds later she finally hit bottom and was stunned momentarily. After being able to get the air back in her lungs Rin tried not to panic. She just had to call for Inuyasha-sama. He had the best hearing in the village and they’d probably start looking for her soon. It was getting dark after all. Or...was it dark already? looking up to the top of the well and it seemed dark. There were no sunset colors she had seen just moments before she’d fallen. That set her heart racing a little more. 

“Inuyasha-sama!! Inuyasha-sama help I’m stuck down here!”  And she kept repeating it until her voice was about to give out, becoming more and more frightened the longer no one came for her. Was she never going to see anyone again?

“Please?? Anybody?!! I’m down here!”

WHICH PRIMARY HOUSE + SECONDARY HOUSE, ARE YOU?

you might be a gryffindor primary .

gryffindor primaries trust their moral intuitions & have a need & a drive to live by them . they feel what’s right in their gut , & that matters & guides them . if they don’t listen to & act on that , it feels immoral .

gryffindors don't have to be loud . they can be quiet . they don't have to be brave . they just have to want to be brave . gryffindor has a reputation for volatility , much like the slytherin reputation for ambition . all the houses believe things strongly ( just like all houses have their ambitions ) , but with its broad, internal morality gryffindor is the most likely to have things they are passionate about thrown in their faces ( just as slytherin’s ambitions look least selfless & are therefore more generally maligned ) .

not everyone can see the worth of a hufflepuff secondary . less flashy than a gryffindor , less smooth than a slytherin , less jack-of-all-trades than a ravenclaw , their strength is their dedication . like all secondaries , this sorting is about what a hufflepuff wants to do-- not necessarily what they are able to achieve within the constraints of life , circumstance , & health . but a hufflepuff wants to show up . they want to work well & fairly . they want to achieve things honestly & stand on solid ground .

this is what makes a hufflepuff : they show up . they do the work , often for no obvious gain except for the satisfaction of a job well done . this is the source of their power , & it is slowly gathered , not obvious to look at , and rarely spent . where gryffindors charge & slytherins transform , the hufflepuff seems inconsequential & harmless until the moment when they rise up & call on all their debts , secrets , & trust .

     I’ve hit 6,000 followers! It’s taken 8 years and some odd months...but I cannot believe I’ve reached this milestone~!
