An investigation by The Washington Post is raising “critical questions” about Israeli justification for the killing of two journalists in Gaza in January. Hamza Dahdouh, the eldest son of Al Jazeera’s Gaza bureau chief Wael Dahdouh, was killed in an Israeli missile attack in Khan Younis, along with another journalist Mustafa Thuraya and their driver. Two others were seriously wounded. In a statement following the attack, the Israeli army said a military aircraft “identified and struck a terrorist who operated an aircraft that posed a threat to [Israeli] troops”. It added, “We are aware of the reports that during the strike, two other suspects who were in the same vehicle as the terrorist were also hit.” According to The Post, the journalists were operating a consumer model drone to capture footage of a building hit during Israeli bombardment. The video from Thuraya’s drone, obtained by The Post, showed no “Israeli soldiers, aircraft, or other military equipment” were visible. The newspaper also interviewed witnesses and colleagues of the reporters, who provided detailed accounts. “The Post found no indications that either man was operating as anything other than a journalist that day. Both passed through Israeli checkpoints on their way to the south early in the war. Dahdouh had recently been approved to leave Gaza, a rare privilege unlikely to have been granted to a known militant,” it said.

So, there was a video posted about the relative new mars drone.
And i swear if i see one more comment saying something like "THe sahARa LoOks gREAT wITh thIs FilTER" i will start killing people. For real if i would be the dictator of the world stuff like this would be illegal.
I knew that there were some nutjobs like this, but i assumed they were a very small fringe minority, but no, almost half of the comments were about how space missions actually never happen, space agencies just embezzle the money and create fake footages on earth. How would that even work, tens of thousands of people would need to be on the lie at least, including everyone who ever wanted to study astronomy, astro physics, aerospace engineering or anything related.
How do so many people belive this and why??
The other types that makes me want to peel my skin are those who see something like this, belive it, but then ask questions like "why", "whats the point" or say stuff like "money have never been poured down the drain quicker". If it would be up to these kind people we would be still living in caves, but i am done arguing with them, from now on i will just spam this image as a response:

Arc Two (redux) 83
As Nyota and Arjun ventured deeper into the chamber, blue light began to shine above them again. But it wasn’t steady this time. Nyota looked up and saw lights flickering overhead, but her vision was too poor to make out much. She stared harder, tried to focus. It was too close, well below the ceiling…
“Captain, there’s a ledge up that way,” Arjun said, stopping beside her to point it out, “but even your lemur jump couldn’t get it, I’m thinking. And these walls are too smooth for a grapple. Hey, the hell’s that?”
A slow and distant smile glittered in Nyota’s eyes and warmed her lips as she finally put together the pieces of what she saw. “I don’t believe it. Light. It’s hard light. Arjun, we need to get a better look at this.”
It was more than just light. Several platforms flickered on and off, arcing up the side of the room. Between them, thick stone ledges nestled in like books on a well-fit shelf.
“What’s so good about it?” the old man grumbled as he followed her, but she could tell he was more curious than cranky. “It’s just some laser effects.”
“No, watch.” Nyota touched the lowest platform with her spear. The tip stopped, held in place by blue radiance. “It’s not an effect. I don’t know how to explain—the Miniknog has been pursuing this kind of technology since before I was born, but their efforts never managed anything more than a hologram—and the projection of Big Ape that I fought, months back, but that one was experimental at best. My mentor’s wife was one of their lead scientists working on it. He would mention her research from time to time.”
“Your mentor?” Arjun asked. Nyota could hear the raised eyebrow in his voice. “Aly mentioned him. Some bigwig bastard, is that right?”
Nyota went still for a moment, thought slipping right out of her mind, then shook her head. “He raised me. Say what you like beyond that.”
Arjun was quiet for a while as Nyota watched and prodded the platform, testing its limits and learning the pattern for when it appeared or disappeared.
“His wife then, you said she worked on this sort of stuff?”
The sudden question surprised her, but Nyota shook her head again. “I know only what he told me. She died before I met him. A medical complication—apex mothers were not… made to handle twins, you see.” A tiny echo of her mentor’s sadness curved her lips into a faint bittersweet smile. She didn’t look at Arjun; perhaps the sadness hadn’t reached her voice. “He said his eldest looked just like her, and the twins grew up well. They had their mother’s mind, always curious… But that isn’t relevant right now.”
“Right, right.” Arjun looked up at it. “So what is?”
Nyota studied the platform for a moment longer, then grabbed the edge and hauled herself up, offering him a hand as soon as she was steady. “Quickly now, it won’t last too long. There we go.”
She led him onto the sturdy stone shelf just past the hard light’s edge. “Apex never managed to master this technology, but it looks like the ancients did,” she said, “and I think it’s our way forward. There are more platforms along the wall. We can reach the ledge from here.”
Arjun gripped her sleeve as they went and tried very hard not to look down. “Walking on light,” he muttered. “What a damn fool idea.”
*
Lumen sat close to SAIL’s console and wished he could have gone with them. It gnawed at him—Hadley was right, splitting up in a strange place was the wrong choice, even if they hadn’t found any real danger yet. He just knew it. Same as he knew that Mars would keep turning, same as he knew, that awful day, it was time to leave. Sure as his brand tugged slight and gentle north.
“Lumen?”
He looked up. Hadley was staring at the ceiling, lost in thought almost, but her brow was furrowed and her words too slow and sure.
“Lumen, did SAIL catch footage of that drone that went after me?”
Damn it—why hadn’t he thought of that? Because thinking of that is Captain’s job, he tried to tell himself as he pulled the logs up and started flicking through them faster than human sight could follow. Yeah, but I’m her second.
The image seemed to take ages to load to his sharpened, focused mind, though he knew it was seconds, just seconds. His shell creaked as his hands went tight.
Small, too small, but there. “SAIL, zoom in on that.” He tapped the screen.
“Processing… Sharpening image.” It filled the screen and the blur began to filter away, a tiny pencil animation playing over the edges as SAIL worked.
Lumen didn’t quite recognize it, but it was familiar. What would Captain—what would our Nyota do? “SAIL, can ya cross-reference it with what else we got on file?” It wasn’t how she would have said it, but he was still Lumen when all was said and done.
SAIL whirred. “Accessing database. Please wait.”
Lumen heard the bedsheets rustle and felt movement near his shoulder.
“I know I should stay in bed.” Hadley pulled a chair over. “But I’m going to watch.”
Lumen just accepted that. She knew what she was doing. A little better than their Captain about that, at any rate.
The image shrank over to one side and several others filled the empty space. “Reference complete.” SAIL sounded almost smug. “Matches found.”
Lumen stared at the screen. Hadley hissed beside him, but he didn’t look away. After all these months of silence.
“Hadley, get those stims.”

NCIS: LOS ANGELES – “Game of Drones” – Act Four
There are terrorist groups in Beirut, an ally.  Hezbollah is the biggest terrorist organization based there.  Callen wants a list of anyone in LA with Hezbollah ties
Eng joined the engineering company to go to Mars.  She did not join to make drones that would release nuclear weapons.  Eng rightly notes that as someone who quit because she didn’t want to hurt people, she’d probably not set off a bomb.  Eng thinks Rountree is going to beat her.  Kensi and Deeks arrive – Deeks says Kensi’s there to beat her.  He goes to the restroom.
When Eng lawyers up, Rountree lets her go.
Kensi sends Shyla some home security footage.  With work footage, Shyla is looking to see if anything looks weird.  A Bunny vale Laundry has been following him.  Darius “Bunny” Vale and his wife own the company.  Bunny is on his way to the boat shed.
In interrogation, Vale says the van was stolen and returned.  He’s not very cooperative.  Callen shows a photo of the badly burned dead janitor.  Vale is told he will go to Gitmo if they find anything that connects him with the bombing.  Vale tells Callen and Fatima he can’t help – “they” will hurt his family in Iran.
Two men told him they need the van and if he didn’t, they’d hurt his family in Tehran.  Fatima asks him to help.  Vale has a friend in commercial real estate, she gave them a place to work.  Callen wants to call Sam in.
The final preview where the team goes into the office building.
Deeks walks down a hall as LA Fire doing an inspection.  He’s going to Nakatomi Plaza (“Die Hard”!)   A man wants Deeks gone, even to the point of nearly shooting him in the back of the head.  Kensi takes him out.  Deeks jokes about getting shot in the back of the head as a kid by his buddy Darryl (nice callback) with a BB-Gun.    Sam jokes about Deeks still dealing with that injury.   Deeks tells Sam he really missed him today.

Punic War IV - Sonya Taaffe
Is it all just Carthage
over again, that foreign city
you can raze to her children's bones
 while your own dedicate themselves
to the funeral games of empire,
striking poses in white marble
polished highly as lies?
Is it just the Crusades
at seventy-two frames per second,
a desert of soldiers
with drones of righteousness,
the dream of a rood like the teeth of a dog
in the bone of a stranger's heart?
Are you still prosecuting the war
before the last war, the next war already encysted
in our waving memories?
How thin the snail's shell
between Mars-red, Phoinix-porphyry.
How fragile the footage
—potsherds in the cloud—
of our victory.

Footage Casts HUGE Doubt On IDF's Excuse For Killing Journalists
youtube
Mar 23, 2024 #TYT#TheYoungTurks#BreakingNews
Al Jazeera journalists Hamza Dahdouh and Mustafa Thuraya were killed in an IDF missile strike in Gaza. Cenk Uygur and Jordan Uhl discuss on The Young Turks.
6:35 Well, Israel has killed a lot more journalists than the Russians have,
6:39 than literally anyone has.
6:41 And they keep saying, oh, oops. It was yet another accident.
6:45 Shireen Abu Akleh assassinated.
6:47 And even the American government seems to acknowledge.
6:51 Of course, they'd never do anything about it.
6:53 There's no sanctions.
6:54 There's we continue to give them money, etc., but shot in the neck by a sniper,
6:59 murdered no other fighting around.
7:02 As usual, the IDF lies were completely exposed.
7:05 None of it was true. They assassinated her.
7:08 And so they don't want any drones in the sky.

Was Mulder ahead ot his time?.. 🤔🤔🤔
Hm. These yesterday news about USA's Congress hearing of UFO sightseeing where ex secret-service agent claimed under oath (!) that these things are real, United States has a program of reverse-engineering of these strange technologies (!!) and some "non-human biologics" (!!!) was found on several crash sites… it's all YET have to be confirmed, because even if it's said under oath, it's still "Well, I heard something from something", though "I trust these people, they're real professionals".
Tumblr media
It still makes my mind anxious, revoking the vibes I had way earlier, when I was younger and really believed in all of this X-Files shit.
🤔 Like… what could it be, if it's really something extraordinary? These things might be some drones. But whose?
🤔 If it's made by someone who's not from Earth, then… then they really might have been interested in exploring unknown stuff. We would do the same, we actually do the same with Moon, Mars and Jupiter.
🤔 Can it be controlled distantly? Yes, that would be the easiest way. Like we do with our drones, including military ones.
🤔 Can it crash from time to time? Uhm… ya? Bad things happen, even with the most advanced techs.
🤔 Would we understand what is it, if we'd encounter something new and strange to us, something that exceeds our understanding of science and nature? NO. When we see something new, we don't know what is it yet, and it seems dangerous. JUST LIKE THIS SHIT.
Damn. Please, tell me my logic fails me and deez aliens CAN'T be real.
Tumblr media
From another hand, we do know that most of the weird UFO videos you've probably seen on YouTube are fake. Roswell aliens' morgue videos were the hoax. You know what creativity, camera and some latex and visual effects can do, right? I've seen some really disturbing video of the presumptions Moon landing of Soviet and American astronauts who found an alien woman's body, - and it was made by some crazy Mexican artist. If you've seen "Apollo 18" movie, you do know how realistic 'found footage' can be done. (I love this bad movie, by the way, dark creepy vibes and clashing (hehe) finale)
But from another-another hand… there are some footage of drones (?) that were unclassified by Americans and if their officials are sure it's real after all check-ups… I don't know what is it either.
Tumblr media
Damn. What the hell is that, actually… these high-tech drones defying all known laws of physics…
If there are some non-human civilizations right here, they're spreading in space on a long distances. That means, they need some highly advanced technology to communicate and travel between stars. Drones are smaller than traditional sci-fi spaceships, and it's a realistic way to explore the universe. I've heard about some scientific initiative, "Breakthrough Starshot", to launch light-powered micro drones using laser beams, small size and weight can help them to reach the closest star in 25 years only, flying on 20% of light speed. See? That's realistic! Imagine what a more technically advanced species could do about it…
Sigh. Aliens. Little gray big headed dumb peeps. Yep.
Tumblr media
Maybe someone's really looking at us right now, using these almost unnoticeable drones. Look up at the sky, wave a hand.
